Okay, so here's the whole big rundown of things and stuff. This is gonna be the start of the rp but it's nothing too specific. Mainly just the begining og the day.
As the sun peeked out from the hills around Sunset City, it's golden rays mixed with the color of the sky to create a lovely array of colors, beckoning the citizens to a new day. Ghost sweepers entered their agencies, opening them up for business, citizens stirred from their sleep, to go to school and work. Some ghosts took their dark corners to hide, others took to making themselves known during the day, weather it be for good or evil purposes. Demons disguised themselves to walk among people without suspicion. All throught the city, the noise of business began. People started their ccars, opened their businesses, and spoke to friends.
Meanwhile, deep within the bedroom of his apartment, ashton taylor, son of the late james taylor, tirelessly worked with his faithful uniganj android, fio, on creating a special super effective ghost catching

(phome ran out of room T.T) device. Crumpled papers littered the room as fio constructed various devices according to ashton's commands.
"darnit, no!" he shouted, tossing a blueprint paper across the room. "none of my theories are working! There's no 200 percent effective way to obtain these ghosts quickly enough! Fio, deconstruct that device immediately!"
"yes sir ashton" fio said, quickly dissassembling a lantern like device and setting the pieces on the bed.
Ashton sighed, laying his head down on the desk he sat at.
"fio, you may retire to your bed now" he muttered. "we shall begin work on father's research tonight. Right now i must rest for at least an hour... We might end up getting a client today, and i need to be at my best "
"yes' sir ashton" fio said, retiring to the seperate bedroom, her tail drooped in dissapointment at their failure.

Tony was just awaking as he saw the sun rise from it's nightly domain. Getting dressed he felt the cross in his head, he muttered a small prayer of protection over the city. He left his house and went of to work, drinking his coffee and eating his bagle.
He had just opened up for business when he got a call from a fox who works at the local supermarket, he had said something about a ghost had broken in and stolen some food. Tony quickly calmed the fox down and told him it was a common thief and to call the police.
An hour had passed when a slender young raccoon walked in begging him to go the southern side of town because she had encountered an evil spirit and it killed her child. She gave him some money and went on her way. He looked after her and decided to head on down he arrived to be told by a man to seek the help of an alchemist. "Why? I have no need for one." but the man refused to let him pass until he had gotten someone to help. "Alright I'll be back."
Tony called a friend who told him of a young alchemist who may be of some help his name was Ashton Taylor. Tony called Ashton with no answer leaving a message; "Hello, Mr. Taylor this is Agent Alterio of Peacemaker Inc. I was told you may help me with a current case I have, if you will please call me that would help me a ton." Tony left his number and drove back to the office hoping no one else would die that night.
-
"Kill them! Don't let them get away!" a sharp voice called after Aike-Aike, a sultry looking demon freshly turned twenty. Her braided auburn hair floated in the brisk wind made as she lept from rooftop to rooftop in pursuit of an evil pair of demon twins, Liz and Biz. Her yellow eyes flashed back and forth as she mapped out her plan of attack.
"Yes sir!" she replied, watching a pair of black dots jump down from a roof a ways away. In her ear was a headset keeping her in touch with base.
She was on another Ghost Sweeper mission, freelanced and hired for her incredible demonic abilities. But, of course, she would be a traitor to her own kind if she actually killed Liz and Biz. No. no. She would only tell the company they were dead. What really happened would be of her own deign.
-
Ashton had just missed the phone, but got tony's message all the same. He smiled a bit, his mind racing. 'i might just get enough money to pay this months rent with this job!' he thought.he giggled a little, summoned fio from her room, and hastily called tony back. Ring. Ring. Ring.
"hello, tony??? This is ashton! I heard you might need my assistance with a job! I'll gladly help you out, just know that a friend of mine will be attending this little exorcism, okay?" he said, leaving his message on the answering machine, hisentire being practically radiating happiness.
-
I missed a call. Tony saw looking at his phone. The moment I decide to get more coffee. He decided to not call back until he was near the Saint Marks Church which should be in Ashtons area according to his friend.
After reaching his destination he called backwith an answer. "Hello? Tony?" came over the phone, "Yes this is Agent Tony Alterio I am at the Saint Marls church waiting a black cadilac escalade. Can you make it here in the next say, 10 minutes?"
-
"of course i can. You don't mind if i bring a special 'friend', do you?" he asked. As he talked with tony on the phone, he got his signature black cloakish jacket on and motioned for fio to pack his suitcase, which she did, filling it with various objects.
-
"Only if they're going to helpful in my case. Of course I will pay you 40% of all proceeds." he took his gun out and cleaned it.
-
Ashton sighed, wanting 50 percent of the pay, but knowing he had to take what he could get, he swallowed his pride.
"okay. Me and her will be there immediately" he said, clicking off the phone and rushing out of his house with Fio, whip in paw. If he ran, he could probably get there in ten minutes or less. Fio held Ashton's suitcase as she ran alongside him, eyes focused straight ahead.
-
Tony sat there waiting for Ashton, he had strted looking at the buildings when he saw a couple of, he didn't know what jump down into the street being falled by a large demon. Tony got out and ran towards the ally way in which they went. He was about to turn the corner into the ally when he ran into a squirel holding a whip. "Gah!" He yelled in frustration helping the squirel up, "Hey? Are you that Ashton kid? And is this," Gesturing to Fio, "Your friend?"
-
"that depends on who's asking!" said Ashton. "if you're the debt collector, then Ashton is in paraguay. If you're tony..." he paused, bowed slightly and said "my name is Ashton Taylor. And this.." he said, pointing to the unigan android dressed in a pink maid outfit adorned with hearts, "is my faithful companian Fio"
fio nodded at the bear, and gently nodded at him, but retained her expressionless look.
-
"Good, cuz I think I saw some demons go down this way. I don't know if they're friendly. Do you want to take the chance of going in unprepared or go straight to the real case?" He grabbed his revolver and counted that he had all his bullets. "Hey whats with the whip? Whatya think you are Indiana Jones?" He laughed. Still inching towards the ally. He had the look of eagerness about him.
-
"The stuff i have is specifically for ghosts" said Ashton, a small grin forming. "if i were to use it on demons, it may have some....strange side effects. As for the whip, i never leave home without it!" he said, smiling. "I'm a bit torn though. The side effects might be fun!" Ashton exclaimed, a gleam of dark joy in his eyes.
-
Aike slowed as she sensed....others....behind her. "Why do I sense followers, sir?" she asked politely into her headset. "I thought I was the only one on the case."
"I'm not sure, maybe another agency got the same call?"
She sighed as she turned another corner in pursuit of the lower class demon scum, her black feathered wings that were formally spread out like an angel's as she hopped over building roofs now folded and pressed close to her back. She was going to have to put on a hella show to keep her demon buddies alive and kicking, and wondered if it was worth it as she took out her blade, a large war cleaver she claimed to agencies was dipped in holy water, but was actually fortified with something else entirely.
-
After a few moments though, Ashton turned back to Fio. "fio! We're going to get those demons!" he exclaimed. He then turned to Tony. "and you're coming too, in case I accidently turn them into super demons or something, okay? "
And with that, Ashton turned on his heel and dashed off towards the mysterious beings in the distance, grabbing fio's hand and dragging her off with him.
-
"My pleasure" Tony spoke as he grabbed his Kukri and revolver. "I think there may be more than one. Be careful kid." he said running down the ally way.
-
"yeah whatever!" said Ashton, dashing down the alley.
"The young master can be a bit too eager, if you haven't already noticed" said Fio, emotionlessly, her eyes glued to Tony.
-
"Yes, yes he is quite eager." Tony said, as they ran down the ally way Tony felt a bit unconmfortable with not knowing what he was running too. Well it'll have to do this kid may be just enough for the job and a half
As they sprinted Tony saw two little demons he started to fire at them almost hitting one but the demon had jumped out of the way. "Damn they're quick." Tony remarked.
-
Ran until he stopped in front of the two demons.
"fio! Use the device!" he shouted.
In an instant, fio popped open the suitcase and pulled out a lantern, and turned a key inserted into the side of a lantern. All of a sudden, a blast of silver energy swirled out of the lantern, and up into the air. A loud screeching noise filled the air. Ashton smirked.
"well tony!" he shouted over the noise. "this is either gonna confuse em or piss em off! And i suggest you cover your ears or it might affect you too!" with the, ashton placed his paws over his ears, waiting for a reaction from the demons. Fio remained unaffected.
-
It hurt! This most unusual pain!
Aike-Aike stopped in her tracks and almost dropped to her knees at the onset of the sound. It was all she could do to cover her ears, and beg for help: "Sir, sir, they're demon hunting as well, sir!" she almost choked on her own words, the pain in her ears unreal and making it hard to function...
"You have to let them know you're there or they'll think to kill you too, Katie..."
The young girl-demon turned back towards the followers. Liz and Biz could leave. They were on their own now that other ghost sweepers were here, and so long as she kept their blood off her own hands, netiher her boss or her father would be angry with her. The hunters could have at those two for all she cared, so long as they left her alone, and she didn't have to kill anyone...or anything. "Hey!" she called. "Don't...d-don't shoot me!" She stepped out into the open painfully. "I am a friend..."
-
Ashton Blinked, staring at this lovely demon girl. "Fio! Turn off the device!" Ashton shouted over the noise. Fio did as she was told and turned it off, the sound dissapating quickly.
Ashton took a couple cautious steps towards this new arrival, the sound still probably echoeing her ears.
"a friend, you say?" he asked. "well. What's your name? I am Ashton." he said, smiling and extending his paw to her. Ashton may have been an excellent alchemest and demon hunter, but he was as naive as hell!
-
She hesitated. Aike-Aike....Aike...Aiyeh-kay... her true, demonic tribal name rang in her ears alongside the painful echo of the earlier sound. "My name...it's Katie Sprigg. I am working for a sweeper agency just as I bet you are, though, I am only freelanced." Smiling awkwardly she shook his paw with gratitude that he didn't open fire on her or anything. If she was sent back to Hell dead, her father would be the one opening fire on her for her disobedience. She would fulfill her arranged marriage in shame. She had to return to Hell by the Way of Honor, or no way at all.
She then looked behind her..."My boss, he sent me after these horrid little minor demons...Liz and Biz I think their true names are. Pathetic little things but I lost them when you guys showed up." She laughed slightly.
-
"Oh, sorry!" said Ashton. "And I'm not part of any agency, ha-ha!" he laughed a little bit. "see, I'm an alchemist! And i got called here today by a guy named Tony. He had a mission but they wouldn't let him in unless I was here!" he though for a moment, wondering if he left anything out.
"oh! This is my faithful companian Fio" he exclaimed, pointing at the UNigan Android a few feet away from him.
"my father built her for me before he died. She's an all purpose android!"
-
Tony turned the corner. "I thought I saw those other demons go somewhere else, but I lost them." He was about to sheath his gun when he noticed Aike-Aike, drawing it and pointing it at the demon he asked, "Who is this wretched creature? And why isn't she dead?" He had to admit for a demon she was quite lovely but none the less a demon. He pulled the hammer back, "This is a .45 round dipped in holy water, blessed by the pope himself. Make the wrong move and it'll be your last." He smirked about to pull the trigger. But he stopped a second, "Whatya think Kid? In the head or should I make this one a fair fight?' He asked examining the huge sword on her back. "Maybe I could just use these." He said opening up his left side of his coat revealing to massive kukri's.
-
*turned back and blinked at tony* "what? Tony she's one of us! Her name is Katie and she's a good guy...er....girl!" he exclaimed, grabbing his whip and narrowing his eyes. "so don't you dare try to hurt her!! She was hunting down those two demons like us!"
fio nodded.
"the young masyer may have a tendency to lie, but as an android, I cannot. He is telling the truth" she said, bowing.
-
Aike swallowed; she started to raise her hands in defeat but that could be seen as a reach for her weapon so she stopped. "I'm on your side, sir! Please, check the accreditation in my pocket. I was hired by one of your agencies...I mean no harm whatsoever."
-
Well then, Tony thought. "Alright, who do you work for? I know just about every agency in this city." He knew she wasn't going to hurt him with a gun like the Jacal aimed for her head. He stepped a bit closer not taking his eyes of her. Tony started quoting a scripture, "The lord is my Shepard...." He began waiting to see the demons reaction knowing she would either refute it or ask him to stop, if she were truly good.
-
The words shook Aike's inner soul but she could not admit to this..."You play a child's game, sir. The word of god has little negative impact on those of us demons who have strived to be honorable. My boss, I know not which company he hails from, goes by the name of Scott Wilson. Should you wish to speak with him and confirm for yourself, by all means take this headset from me and speak into it."
-
*A child's game?* (new thinking format) he thought? "Scotty? Oh well if you have in with him you must be good." He lowered the gun and holstered it. But he still grabbed the two kukri's for personal protection from anything else around him. "I'm sorry to have put you through that." He said, "I know my Lord will forgive you of your sins." He said smiling. "I'm Tony, but don't shake my hand it'll burn. a lot." He started to walk towards his car but remembered Ashton, "Hey kid. We need to start off, if you would like to join us Katie I will give you some of the pay." Remembering his deal with Ashton, "I'll give you 10%, you, kid, 40% and I'll take 50%. sound fair?"
-
"as long as i get money!" ashton said eagerly, readying his whip. " I mean, I have nothing right now so I'll take what i can get! "
Fio nodded. "the young master is quite bad with money" she said.
-
"Whatever I get is acceptable." Aike smiled. By whatever she got she meant the total number of fools she tricked, how many agencies she planted dark seeds in and how much information she gave to her father back home in Hell. Money was nothing to a demon, who would return to Hell in death no matter their actions on Earth....they knew that this was their life, a twisted destiny, and they knew they could do nothing but be a slave to Hell's whims. For a moment, the girl looked forlorn.
(if I am getting the demon life story wrong feel free to correct me)
-
Ashton hastily turned to Tony, unable to wait any longer. He grabbed Fio's hand and walked towards him. "so, all three of us are in on this now!" he said excitedly. "er, four if you count Fio" he said, correcting himself.
"so do you want to go or what?"
-
"I'll follow behind you two," Aike said warmly. She smiled slightly. "It never looks good to see hunters following a demon....unless you think I'd be more helpful in front?"
-
"well, Tony is the boss!" said Ashton. "we should probably do what he thinks is best"
-
Tony considered what he was told and looked at Ashton, "I think she should be in front of us." He nodded down the alley way for Aike to start walking.
