Title: Dragon Head Tutorial
Post by: Hayley on February 23, 2011, 11:38:03 PM
Not sure where this goes, since i can't find a tutorial section. Mods can move this; right?

Okay. I'm a mammal artist so I'm more used to drawing things like cats and foxes. However, a part of my webcomic is coming up where I have to draw dragons; and I really need help with the heads!

Does anyone have any tips with dragon heads or any images that look nice. (for me to get a general idea on the style)

Best thing about dragons is that they come in a variety of different forms, just simply merging different creature parts together like parts of birds, lizards, cats, dogs, etc. you can make your own custom dragon and it be all cool. Plus by studying other pictures of dragons you can get a better idea of how dragons are drawn.
