Where do you feel like you belong the most? What are you drawn to?
If I could have it my way, I would live in Alaska, Canada, or Russia. I would live somewhere isolated and cold with just me and my mate. I would live somewhere where I can live off the land if I needed to. Somewhere extremely peaceful.
how about you guys?

...ive..never really had a true home. or felt i truely belonged anywhere.
i dont attach myself..

Canada is hardly isolated unless you live in the far north.
I feel very at home here in Canada but I'd love to go to Japan, Scotand, or Australlia someday.

I'm well satisfied with the United States, I'd prefer to stay here and live someday in a less populated state.

I meant up in North Canada.
Why Japan? I lived there for 8 years and I don't want to go back. So cramped. So dirty. So hard to relax.

My home is wherever I can be in Matthew's arms. <3
Corny, yes.
But I'd like to go to Canada someday. :3

Yeah, I wan't really thinking about going to live in the city, I'm really only attracted there 'cause of the beutiful spring season.
-
I like where I am at, much better than what I have heard about other places. Politics, religion, weather, it's all good here.
-
Home is where my heart is... in a box on some island in the Caribbean Islands next to a very large confortable hammick with all the treasure a dragon could want. XD lol
-
where ever my feet are is my home. I hate calling one place my home so my feet are my home. they are well instalated :D
-
I'm not too sure where my true home is now.
I know it's in Brisbane (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brisbane) but nowhere specific. I lived there until I was 8, and have missed it since.
Maybe some of you guys have heard of the floods and cyclone Yasi that happened recently, kinda upset me seeing my home city being destroyed :[
I think I would feel at home if I just moved back there.
-
i don't feel a real conection to anywhere specific but i wouldn't mind living in a small town with the bush to my back and the beach out the front. quiet town with the sounds of the sea and nature and a good radio to relax to, that sounds like the life for me.
-
A small town in Louisiana where I grew up is where I would call "home"... it's where most of my family resides.
-
I would consider scotland home, but it isn't exactly the most friendly place in the world, i'd prefer living in america or canada because apparently the people are friendlier ^_^
-
I already live somewhere where I am quite content (In the Adirondacks in NY). The problom is I'm moving in just a few days to a a medium sized town next to a busy road :( . I hope I meet someone new there. I'll really miss this place I've lived here my whole life and I don't want to up and leave it.
-
While I love the town I live in and was born in, I feel most at home while hiking in wooded areas, a home in the woods would make me happy.
However there is one disadvantage of this, I get very bored rather easily and that is why I am attracted to large cities. I love the fast paced lifestyle but also love the slow small town feel as well. I am conflicted.
I would also love to be near water so I could swim and the like.
-
I would love to live in a tropical forest with not that many people around. I could live in a little peace and solitude :3
-
I feel like if anywhere is my home, the city I lived in growing up would be home. But the political situation in America is really starting to scare me/piss me off, so I'm feeling a slowly increasing desire to leave. It's like there are two groups of people in my house yelling at each other, and it's getting worse and worse, to the point that I feel like violence is about to erupt and I'll get caught up in it.
-
Where i keep my shit :3
-
◆ Somewhere where life is easier and simpler and/or criminals are not as abundant as where I currently live... Yeah. x_x
Or why not, in the peaceful Kawana village! X3
-
I really like where I am right now, while I'd like to live in a nicer place, I *love* this town. It seems at first like there's not much to do, but it has a really strong local culture, and all kinds of activities pop out of the woodwork. Plus, there's good hiking, swimming, and some cool parks.
I'd also like to live in some places in California, but not the really crowded ones - probably north of San Francisco.
-
I don't really understand why people are so attracted to California. The weathers nice yeah...but everything else about it doesn't seem that exciting to me.
-
Meh, it can be expensive, it's a different attitude, and the big cities have a lot of the big city problems...LA especially...
But I grew up in a nice area down there, and there's things about it I miss. I *do* like where I am, though.
-
i live in a big city .... never really liked it here. want to move to a different city
-
My true home? Definitely not where I am
-
Wherever I am accepted and liked by the other people around me.
-
That's right, twisters true home is an apartment with meee
-
I don't know. I don't feel at home anywhere :'(

Sounds good to me!
Hopefully you get a chance to live somewhere you feel at home.

Yeah, I hope so too.

I only feel as home in Canada, everywhere else feels.........different and I don't sleep as well. I would love to visit Australia and Cyprus (I was born there) Though. I love warm weather so I detest the Canadian winters
-
I feel most at home in the painted deserts of Utah and Arizona, possibly Nevada as well, amoung the sparkling sands, towering painted mesas and beautiful starscapes at night.
I would possibly enjoy living in France, since I've been there and enjoyed the atmosphere and lifestyle very much but this is rather far fetched cost wise and doesn't seem as 'at home' to me as the desert. Maybe a second home in France?
-
I love cooler weather and more isolate places primarily, but really preferences hardly exist for me and I prefer variation.
My dream home at the moment would be in Switzerland: Eco friendly, cool, neutral, not a big crowded type place, and one of the highest life expectancies in the world. My first thought was France, in the North it's cool as well, and I love French culture, but I figured that Switzerland I can still be in French culture and a trip to France would probably be a lot easier from Switzerland. I can also see German and Italian stuff as well. Then being in Europe I could go to a lot of other places. Also as a linguaphile a tri-lingual place sounds cool to me :)
I'm also very interested in Asia, particularly Japan since that's would have been the best place as far as I could have seen (Using the past tense because it's not so great right now, but Japan is very modernized and such whereas the rest of Asia is either in a war, impoverished, or under horrible government control.) Also Japanese culture is awesome.
I guess somewhere real isolate and cold like Siberia or North Canada would be cool but that's a little extreme in my opinion.
-
I'm from New England, but I really belong down south in Texas (so I believe xD).. I can't stand the cold!
Though I suppose living in Germany, or Russia would be cool too. :D
