Title: First step
Post by: Zaspher on February 01, 2011, 09:21:28 AM: ^_^Salutations fellow furs this is like my sixth day in the fandom and just wanted to say hello. Im not really used to it yet but im still into it. Ive always been what you would consider a furry. When I was about 3 years of age I would mock the household dogs (at the time we had 9) I would always bite my siblings and slept in the corner of the room on the floor ( My mom even has pictures lol). Ive always been an adventure oriented bastard. I really haven't had much of a fear of anything. I would always find myself climbing random trees and would often piss of my mom in doing so. When I was seven I was walking around my driveway one night when I found a bat on our fence curious I picked it up gently and brought it inside the home. Well it bit my arm and I had to get a whole bunch of rabies shots. My habbits followed me through elementary school and often times I would get into trouble for biting one of my peers.
Well ive mellowed out a lot since then but still carry a few habbits. I sleep in an odd position and can never fall asleep on a bed. Occasionaly I will grunt or growl and yipe but nothing too extreme.
A close friend of mine at my high school was chilling at my house one night. He randomly asked if I was a furry. I asked him what a furry was and he breifly told me what a furry was. I told him that I wasnt. Since then ive been a little curious though so I started an account here as a first step. Hope nobody thinks im too weird.....

Most of my previous "fur-iends" turned their backs on me whenever I couldn't join them at cons or meet-ups because I didn't have the funds. From what I have seen here so far, nobody is judgmental in the least. Anyways, see ya around!

alot of people are furries but dont know it. for lack of the knowledge that there is a name for what they are.
me, i was a furry for about 3 years before i found out. since then its been so much easier to seek out others like me
