Title: Delura: a 3d sci-fi animated series

Remember all those months back when I posted that test flight video? (http://www.thefurryforum.com/forums/index.php?topic=12290.0)

Well, we finally got around to making the first episode of Delura, a fantasy sci-fi animated series.

Here is the first episode, enjoy!

I really liked it myself, it's pretty impressive to me o.o. Nice special effects rawr.

Delura continues slowly but surely. My goal is to get to the point to where I can produce a 3-6 minute episode once a month and I almost reached it this time around. I had challenges regarding the Silgrarian rig (the green/white creature in the pic) that really slowed down my production, but being so far along in the animation process it would have forced me to scrap a lot of work so I bit the bullet and worked with what I had. The next episode that features a Silgrarian will have completely re-done movement controls which I hope will eliminate the difficulties/limitations I had. I also have ideas as to how I can further improve my humanoid rig further as I had issues with IK getting confused when the character is not upright.

Anyways, I'm posting it here for you all to enjoy. I know the previous episode left a lot of people hanging :)

This is really great. Seriously, employers/universities and such like to see things like this in a portfolio. If you wanted to go into animation or another career like that then this really shows a good level of understanding and skill which they will be looking for  :3

Beside that, this really is awesome. I dont know much about animation like this, but nevertheless I'm impressed. Keep up the good work!   :P
