Completely normal. You just won't settle for the first girl you meet. Tell your mother that you'd rather focus on your school first and let relationships come after?

I'm 18 and I have absolutely no interest whatsoever in finding a mate.  I'm actually not really even attracted guys or girls.  But I believe not wanting a girlfriend or boyfriend is perfectly normal.  I went all through high school without one and my high school life was 100% drama free.  Some people are just better off without a mate.

i guess , iam more attracted to girls i told my mom whats wrong with out haveing a mate and she didnt say anything but still pushes me the girlfriend i had in high school was more like a friend so really in high school there was no drama. there is this one girl in my collage but shes a lot older then i though shes in her 30's i though she was around my age so rather then that there no one right now

am 18 too, but if you had asked me last year abut if i was thinking to be with someone, i would have say:   ''heck no, i don't want to, i feel free, i can see my friends all the time, i don't have to pay for someone else etc''  i was good alone and the idea to be with someone never crossed my mind before, but you, their is always one guy or one girl who likes you and you never know and they tell you about it, and then you're ''hey, thinking 'bout it, she/he sure is cool. i know that person for a while now, i really like her/him'' and then you or the other one ask the other out and... voilà, yo're mate.

well, thats what happens to me ...
