Okay, so, first off this roleplay is supposed to be loosely based around the 1920's-1960's or so. And here are a few rules...
1. No modern clothing or weaponry. If your character has android/robotic parts I may consider letting you play if I feel that they won't be used as an advantage to godmod.
2. No godmodding. As in, no creating a 'God' character that has no weaknesses or can't be killed.
3. No powerplaying.
Bad post:
Character A growls at Character B menacingly.
Character B shoots Character A and kills him instantly.
Why is that bad? The player of Character B controlled Character A to just stand there and get killed.
Good post:
Character A growls at Character B menacingly.
Character B aims his gun at Character A and pulls the trigger, hoping to kill him.
Why is that good? Because now Character A has the chance to either attempt to dodge the bullet or get hit.
4. No dodging every attack. Let's say a player can dodge an attack a maximum of three times and then the fourth attack hits automatically, no exceptions.
5. This is a no consent roleplay to some degree. Which means your character could get engaged into a violent situation against their will.
6. Please type at least three or more sentences, I hate one liner posts.
7. You don't need to talk like a mafioso to roleplay but it might help if you at least know some of the terms. Here are some pages that can help:

Personality: Gruff, always seems angry at something, harsh, cruel, 'cold-hearted', relentless. The type that 'always gets his man'. He gets angry if anyone accuses him or his father of being crooked.
Past: Raised with two younger sisters, a mother, and an abusive father who was also a crooked cop and despite the regular beatings his father was still his hero. At an early age he decided to follow in his father's footsteps and joined the force as soon as he was able to. Of course he also became an abuser, a drug addict, and a crooked cop.
