It is Night time in Nu'Casa, festival lights light up the streets and alleys as the city celebrates its new year neutrality. People sing songs of peace and love for one another, while others party into they pass out on the streets, the scent of smoke and liquor fills the night air, and as some gaze up into the night sky to see the beautiful night flowers (fireworks display) that fill the sky with there lights. Nu'Casa is known for there night flower display, that some may say its beauty can be seen around the world, in hopes that other nations may see it and join them in one day of peace. For this one day street vendors scream out "SPECIAL ONE DAY OFFER, SPECIAL ONE DAY OFFER" in hopes of attracting more customers, they sometime tend to pull people over to there shops, this is where the city guards come in. They are there to insure the safety of the people in the city, and are very willing to kick anyone out who looks suspicious. This time of year they normally use unorthodox ways, because so many people are drunk, they wont remember what happen anyways.
Sister Mary made her way to the shang high bar, stepping over some of the passed out drunks and gutter rats that littered the streets and saying a small prayer for them. she stopped and pulled out a small note from the sleeves of her nun gown "contact should be close by here somewhere, a man named Turk" she saw shang high bar down the street from her, very hard to miss seeing that there was a fight about to start, people flying through windows in a drunken rage fighting each other.

In the alley beside it there stood a man smoking a cigarette leaning on the wall, "that must be my contact" she said as walked up to him "Are you Turk?" (http://i1125.photobucket.com/albums/l592/luckywilddog/ralfxi.jpg) (<--URL There) "and you are? listen sister i don't donate to the church so beat it am busy" he said as he flicked his cigarette at her. catching the cigarette and puffing it once before putting it out "thanks i needed that, am here by order of the church am sure my superiors have spoken with you on this." laughing a bit "they send a nun how rich, but whatever am getting paid anyway"

Ricca walk down the ally calmly "so your the one. the pope sent the three of us to ensure no one gets in your way." "um Ricca.....Jethro isn't here....." a loud laughing echoed from the other side of the wall. "I'll go get him." max walked out of the ally leaving Ricca there walking over to sister Mary. "we were told that you would be handling the main mission, my brothers and i are just here to help if something goes wrong." she said quietly looking into Marys eyes with both her normal purple eye and her robotic prosthetic eye while smiling kindly.

Dragon walked down the busy street in search of his contact, his leg servos whirring loudly as he did. He came across the Shang High bar, where he was supposed to meet him. As he was about to enter the bar, he noticed a nun walking into the nearby alleyway. He decided to follow her to see if she was perhaps the contact. As he came into the alley, he saw a group of people talking amongst themselves. "QueRy: ArE ONe oF You naMED TuRK?" His voice modulator was on the fritz again, causing his speech to come out erratically.

Seven flew through the sky. The sky flowers were the perfect disguist for his jets. He zoomed in to the peoples faces to see if they were the ones in his record banks as being his contact. He finally saw the one known as Turk. He was talking to others. He wasn't informed of others, of even what the mission was. He decided to land in an empyt ally a few blocks away. When he landed he saw a tattered sheet, which he look and wrapped around himself like a cloak. He put a hood up so no one would recognize him. He walked across the black and to Turk and the others. "Greetings." He said in a normal tone, that had a slight mechanical buzz to it. "Are you the one known as Turk?"

Mary turned to them with her normal fake smile "aww how cute, may you all shine in his heavenly light" she said as she held her bible in front of her "oh no no no, my dear, the father has sent me to guide those souls who have gone down into the old world before us to there resting place, and to act as a spiritual guide to those who follow me" she opened her bible and started flipping the pages "i hope none of you are thinking of going down there looking for any old world relics" she said in a serious tone of voice "don't want to have to guide your souls to the after life as well" saying as she slowly flipped the pages of the bible " but am sure your all smart enough to know better not to waste your lives looking for old world technology, am also sure there better ways out there to make money in this world" she said back in her normal cheerful voice with a smile
he looked at the robot with disgust "oh great a walking tin can, ya am Turk" he said reaching for his gun in his back pocket "listen to all who are going with me, we need to leave now, i don't have time for this bull. for those who are coming, meet me outside the city gates and one hour, i need to refuel and get everything ready." he said as he lit another cigarette "one hours that's all am giving you" he said as he walked off

"AffIRmAtiVE." Dragon walked backwards out of the alleyway, as he was a little too bulky to fully turn around. He walked outside the city gates to the meeting point and contacted his superiors. "DR460N reporting. There are others who are coming with the contact. Directives unknown. Request Rules of Engagement." "Do not let them onto your mission. Stay your weapons, but remove them if necessary." "AfFiRMATiVE. ReQUEst NearEst RePAIr ShoP CoOrdINates." "Nearest repair shop location uploading now." Having the location stored, he made his way there and had them fix his voice so it would be easier for the contact to understand him. Noting he had 40 minutes left, he made his way back outside the gates and waited.

a smaller gray lizard ran around the corner and jumped up on Mary. "help me!!! they're going to kill me!!!" three large thugs ran around the corner son after. serpington got thrown into the ally wall behind the three thugs by a gargantuan the size of the other three thugs put together. "what did you do this time?" "it wasn't me i swear!! it was Rojeth!! "well Rojeth had better get back out here or I'll kill you for them!!" serp called getting back up slowly, only to be slammed beck into the wall behind him. "but I'm to scared!!" "oh for god sake!" Ricca rolled her eyes and looked at Mary "don't worry, they're normally at least half competent." she raised her hand and brought it down on the back of Jethro's head knocking him to the ground. "finally time to finish what i started before the cry baby took over." said Jethro, mentally turning into Rojeth. he got up ant jumped up on the largest of the three in front of him.

Seven nodded to turk. He looked at the sister storing her imagine in his data banks. He checked her faces symatry and a back file of nuns. She was odd. Very, what other humans would see as, attractive for someone of her profession, or at least so was his judgment from previous experiences. They could see in his eyes, lights of writing as the computer that was his brain worked.

she stood back and studied the actions of those 3 kids "am sure my superiors wouldn't send such buffoons to help me, what a dishonor to be seen around such undisciplined members from the church" she said thinking to herself "finish this up and try not to bring more attention to yourself you idiots, your lack of discipline worries me and that's a problem for both of us, well mostly me trying to find a place to hide your bodies" she said in the coldest way she could think of before walking off "by the way, you guys try not to hurt yourself and play nice" she said in a cheerful tone with a smile on her face, as she made her way to the main gate.

He started making his way to the main gate with the sister. He put the images of the others in his database. He turned to the sister, "hmm, how interesting. You seem to act oddly for someone of the church." He noted as he walked with her to the main gate. "To be honest, I havn't been around people of the church much, since my activation." He added.

"you two aren't tacking this seriously are you?..." Ricca sighed watching the last of the people in the ally leave. "what gives you that idea?" max said dodging a large fist. "i always take playtime seriously, its the only fun i get." Rojeth laughed punching a goon in the face. "at least uses your swords and end this." "fine" both boys whined together. they drew their blades and made short work of the seemingly tough guys. Rojeth changed back to Jethro who just stood there spattered with blood. "doesn't he know how to keep my clothes clean for one fight?" "at least your not injured this time." the three then walked towards the gate, max sighing contently, Jethro trying to get the blood out of his shirt and Ricca just shaking her head "you two are going to be the death of me......"

Diana sat at an outdoor table at the bar down the road Shang High. she was never really an alcohol person but the occasional drink was nice, she wanted a break from her forest home, socialize a bit. she didn't look much different from anyone else. she used to when she lived in her tribe, but now she wore a black cat suit she made, it was not made out of leather. Night, her majestic black Mare was looking around, luckily her pets were used to people and the bar owner let her have them there, as long as they were outside. Sarabi, her lioness, sleeping peacefully by her chair. Red, her hawk was off hunting somewhere, he'll come back later. the occasional child asked if they could pet Night. she nodded, even though Night was a war horse, she liked kids. though she cautioned the kids not to come close to Sarabi without her permission. the waitress came by, unfazed by Sarabi being near by. apparently she had seen worse. "want anything to eat Starwalker?"
"yes, fries sound nice actually"
as the waitress left, she yelled "yo! jumbo fries on the double Manny!!". Diana sighed, from her bag, she pulled out a small, black book, she began to read...

Smiling and looking as cheerful as a school girl "well we nuns have to make sure we keep these kids in check, so they can become warriors of the lord one day, and help protect there nation" slowly her smile started to disapper "but word to the wise, you shouldn't spy in on others conversation, its really rude and most people end up missing because of it" she said as she went back to being cheerful "but am sure that wont happen to you" she said as she made her way to the gate and exited the city.
she felt a a sigh of relief after leaving that city, the thought of being neutral made her blood boil, anyone who wasn't with the church or opposes it, needed to be destroyed. but slaughtering these people wasn't her mission objective, getting Heavens Sorrow was, then coming back and setting this city on fire, she laughed a bit while thinking of it.
Mean while. Turk had just finished calibrating the system, and refiling the engine core of his aircraft. "looks like shes ready, a little rusty, but isn't all old world tech rusty" he said as he hovered over the city, using the night flowers as cover. he started to make his descent down to earth and landing right out side the main gate. the back door of the ship opened as he walked out of it 'lets get going"

Seven followed by her side. "I understand sister. One thing, however, dose make my CPU work over tiem to deduce. The soul, as you humans call it, is a quality possessed by humans alone. My question is, what will happen when I deactivate?" He asked so innocently, almost like a child.

Dragon watched silently as the ship landed in front of him. As the rear door opened, he made his way inside and waited for takeoff. This weapon, Heavens Sorrow, how big was it? Could he use it for himself instead of giving it to mother? He would keep the thought in mind, just in case it was.

Xenrath and Zionna exited from the main gate, analyzing the ship.
"That's him." she said, locating his image in her memory banks. and gesturing towards the ship.
" Excellent, I was beginning to doubt we would locate him."
The two siblings made their way to the ship, Zionna silently whirring and Xenrath loudly stomping with his metallic legs. They entered the ship, acting as if they were already with the group as to spare the introductions. Zionna took pictures of everyone in the room, and added information to their files as she learned more about them. Xenrath sat their and sized himself up to the other mercenaries, mostly to the two other machines in the ship, searching his memory, attempting to find out who they were.

out of the corner of his eye he watched the two board the ship, he took his gun from his back pocket and cocked it then fired it once in the air "you all may not know who i am, and i really don't care who you are, but i have some rules on my ship. Rule 1: you try anything, i will shoot you and throw your body in the middle of the desert, Rule 2: if i think you might try anything, i will shoot you then throw your body into the desert, is everyone clear on rule one and two?" he said waiting a little bit before starting again "rule 3: all weapons, handguns, knives, clubs, or whatever it might be, needs to be disabled, i don't need world war 4 starting on my ship. if you don't like my rules, find you own way out there" Turk never liked taking jobs from all three nations at once, but the money was to good to pass up, plus he gets to loot there corpse when the monsters below rip them limb from limb "oh i almost forgot" he said as he pulled a rolled up peace of paper out of his pocket "a map, pinpointing the greatest thing known to mankind, the reason why your all here, one of you can have it for about, hmmm, 30k in gold coins"

after eating, Diana payed and mounted her mare, Sarabi stretched and followed. the trip up the mountain was a couple hours, but she reached a soft, enclosed spot as she layed down under a bush with her fur blanket, Nigh and Sarabi laid down on either side of her. though she just stared up at the starts, she wasn't feeling sleepy yet.

Dragon ignored his offer for a map. It could easily be a forgery. Instead he went into sleep mode for the remainder of the flight. Turk wouldn't have any funny buisness, so he felt relatively safe to do so, for now. While in sleep mode, his cpu ran a diagnostics check to ensure when they landed, that his weapons and systems were running fine.

Seven looked at the ship and started to board, he then looked Turk up and down and put his photo into his memory banks. He took a seat. He then shut his eyes. He searched his data banks on all the information he could get on the this heavens sorrow. He had read books on it, all of them were very cryptic. None of them were straight forward. Obviously, someone wanted to keep it hidden. He tried using the logic engine in his head to figure out the clues, but, he couldn't get it just yet. He knew it would be in the area they were going to, just the exact location that was the trouble.

the three lizards entered the ship, the two older lizards siting eather side of the door while Jethro walked over to Mary and looked around. "I'm supposed to fly with you. for safety reasons....."

smiling as he put the peace of paper back into his pocket "guess this group is a smarter then the last, well anyway all aboard" he said as he walked back onto the ship and closing the rear door behind him. the engine started with a loud roar and in a matter of minutes they were on there way to the entrance of the Old World. Inside the ship, you either sat beside someone or a cross from them, the air was hot and stuffy with little to no room to move around, it was like being in your own personal coffin or hell. after two or three hours, the ship abruptly stopped, giving everyone a nice jerk to wake them up, "honey were home" turk said over the intercom system, as the ship descended back down onto earth, the rear door opened to give them a nice view of the area.

as the ship lowered they could see that most of the area was covered in black sand, and what seemed like a cave in near distance "this is it" Mary said as she held on to her cross "i wish you all the best of luck and may god be with you" she cheered as the ship hit the ground. near the cave, they could see something moving but couldn't make it out, a group of them, maybe 5 or 6 moving around the area. Turks voice came over on the intercom again "this is as close as i can get you, we have a few nasties sitting out by the entrance"

Zionna and Xenrath exited and moved a bit away from the group of people. "Don't go shooting your way in just yet, perhaps some of these other mercenaries are weaker and will be killed by the old world creatures, and if they Do manage to kill the creatures then we take the opportunity to race ahead of them." Zionna said Silently to Xenrath. "As you say sister." Zionna and Xenrath separated just a bit from the other mercenaries, waiting to see what would happen.

Dragon walked out and immediately saw the creatures in the distance. Switching to his thermal vision, he pinpointed their brains with his laser cannon and fired away. As the first one went down with a hole in it's head, the others charged at him. He continued to pick them off one by one, until the last one remained and was too close to accurately shoot. As he brought up his flamethrower arm, it lunged at him, grabbing both his arms and cannon. It snarled at him as he struggled to break loose.

Seven watched the one on Dragon for a sec before his hands turned to minigun form and shot at the thing, from its top to its bottom, ripping it in half. Halfeb walked over the Dragon and put it on its feet. "We must work together to get this thing. If we do not, we will not succeed." He told them all. He was only 2 years old and still awfully nieve:

Zionna stepped forward towards the entrance "That's all I needed to see." said Zionna. Xenrath stomped forward closer to the hole. "What do you make of the others?" Xenrath said. " It depends on where we find them, if we have the chance however; We will do what we must." Zionna said. The two were far away enough from the others so their conversation would be private. Xenrath took one stomping step into the hole, Both of the machines turning on their Flashlights.

As the two entered the cave they could see the skeletal remains of mercs who had gone before them, the scent of rotten flesh was still in the air, the dirt below them was very soft and lettered with the body parts of men and machine. suddenly out of the ground two of the mutants hands popped up and began to drag Zionna waste deep underground.
Back at the landing zone, Mary watched in silents as the two fought with the monster, she wasn't going to help them, as a matter of fact she was praying that the monster would slay them both, so she wouldn't have to waste ammo doing it later "pity" she said looking at the both of them "well then we seem to be missing two of the members who came with us, i wonder where they could be"

Seven looked inside the cave as his hand turned back from a minigun to a hand. "I believe one or more of them have headed into the cave." Seven told the sister. "They maybe in derress." He said as he stod there, cold, his programming changed, it said, not to save them, to take the Heavens Sorrow and bring it back himself... with no other survivers. However, those dying in the cave, could lead to valuable clues on how to bypass whatever was in there. His face twitched as the new programming came. He then turned to the nun, "Should we do something then?"

"Xenrath!" Zionna pointed her left arm upward, shooting her grappling hand towards Xenrath who was still visible through the opening in the ground. Xenrath latched the hand onto his back and stomped forward, tugging her back to the surface while she shot the creatures with her hand mounted laser cannons. She shot twice at the first one, still latched to her leg. the shots pushed the creature back, only to be shot in unison with Xenrath's biggest cannon. "Have you sustained damage sister?" Xenrath said, poising his weapons as to be ready next time. Zionna looked at her leg, which was scratched but nothing was disconnected. "No, but it appears the Old World holds more secrets than we thought."Zionna stood up and Xenrath changed his light to full power, Illuminating much more of the darkness as the light reflected off the stone walls.

as the light shined in the cave they could see the walls and the ceiling was covered with mutants, just waiting for them to come deeper inside the cave, it was an ambush, more of them popped from the ground in front of the entrance blocking there exit. twenty maybe more, started to fall down from the ceiling, there only exit was to go deeper inside the cave
Mary could hear the loud cannon fire coming from the cave, she smiled "lets slow it up a bit and let them clear the way for us"

"That is..." Seven says, as something clicks in his head. The word came up to save them before red writing came up telling him to override that programming. This was strange, it had never happened before, he had always saved human, feral or machine life, as it were, but, now, it was telloing him to let them die for the better of the mission, "...logical." He said, finishing his sentence.

"Oh no..." Zionna opened up a compartment in her side and slapped on some temporary cannon upgrades to the lasers on her wrists. "Xenrath we need to blast our way in further!" Zionna said, sending him a photograph of the creatures on the roof. She leaped backwards further into the cave, her camera's emitting bright flashes as to try the blind the darkness dwelling creatures while she rapidly shot at them. Xenrath looked behind him, seeing the creatures blocking the entrance. "It seemed we underestimated the old world sister." Xenrath pointed his shoulder cannon at the creatures blocking the entrance and his Gatling laser at the ones on the ceiling and walls, dragging it all across his view as he and Zionna stepped further into the cave, watching all around them. The creatures charged at them, Xenrath's cannon blasted some large stalagmites on the ceiling, blocking the way just a bit, giving him time to aim his gun arm.

the three lizards walk cautiously with the group, Jethro half asleep on Ricca's back. "should we interfere sister Mary?" Ricca asked quietly while max watched the creatures curiously.

Dragon decided to have a little payback on these creatures. Switching to his normal optic mode, he readied his flamethrower and engulfed the creatures that were attacking the other two machines. Their screams echoed through the cave as they writhed in burning agony. They soon lay on the ground, blackened from his attack.

blinded by the light, the mutants still relentlessly charged after the two, as more crawled out of the holes of the ceiling. all of a suddenly they stopped, as if they feared some unknown entity that was ahead of them. the ground beneath Zionna & Xenrath collapsed sending the both tumbling down deeper into the cave, when the dust cleared, they stood before The Old World itself.

Mary looked at her young bodyguards "go for it" she said hoping she could kill two birds with one stone, "ok boys lock and load, by now those things, should be done killing those two, lets move in" as soon as she said that armies of those mutants started to poor out of the caves entrance "oh god" she said stepping back a bit "looks like we have a angry bee hive on our hands boys, take care of them"

"you heard her! get to work!!" Ricca said looking self satisfied. max and Jethro just gave her a blank stare for a moment. max then nodded to Jethro. the two stood in front of the group before realising just how many of those things were coming at them "OK...better idea............bye" "get back here you cowards!!" Ricca yelled at her two brothers running in the other direction screaming. the last thing Jethro said before they jumping down with Zionna and Xenrath was "logic overrules all!!!" and that was his third personality thejro taking over.

Seven turned his legs to their jets and blasted him above the ground where he turned back tot eh mutants and turned his arms to thier miniguns, he started firing from high above them, firing into the mutant army, as his systems targeted them one by one, trying to keep up with his fire rate and movement.

The words filled her field of vision when the ground collapsed. The two landed with a thud. Zionna pulled herself back up, Xenrath already standing. "The other machine, he is an Omega, we need to regroup with him and continue as a group." "Sister there are more important things as of now." Xenrath pointed his gatling gun at the city. Zionna who was facing the other side turned to see the old world. She snapped several pictures and uploaded them directly into mother's network. "We have a head start, but it is most likely much more dangerous down here, we need to find that other Omega." Xenrath look upwards at the hole where they had once been. "Well if he come the way we did he should be here soon."

Mother uploaded schematics of what used to be the old world before it was destroyed, and it compared to what the three machines were looking at now. it was truly amazing, know other machine had made it this far. There mission was coming to a end and with there success rate this high, failure was not an option. The schematics show that the last known location of Heavens Sorrow was underneath the national liberty museum, located in the middle of the city.
Jumping down the hole with the others, she was never the type to run away but this was the time for it. Landing on her feet and gazing up at the city, she smiled " objective two completed" she said as she pulled out that same small note as before from her sleeves "hmmm the national liberty" passing the note to thejro, which explained in great detail on where to find Heavens Sorrow. "we need to make it to the middle of city, god only knows what still lives down here so i suggest we stick to the shadows and stay off the main road. be on your guard or this city will be your grave."

Dragon jumped down the hole and landed with a loud CRANG! Subtlety was not his strong suit. He gazed at the decrepit city and checked his mission log. The national liberty museum was his target. Ignoring the others, he began to walk into the city, keeping his sensors ready for any beasts that may lurk down here.

"good, one question, how many of you actually thought about how to get this thing out of this cave?" he stood there with a blank stare before sighing "please tell me at least one of you put some thought into this......"

Zionna and Xenrath were given their target through their connection with Mother. "The National Liberty Museum." said Zionna, Xenrath went first, looking all around for mutants. Zionna followed behind him, her camera scanning anything and everything she could.

Seven zoomed down the hole and landed with just as his feet turned back to thier normal state. He looked around and looked at the map and photographed it to his memory. He looked at the others before looking all around him at the city, trying to lay over the map with what he sees, which he usually did with where he was, but, it was so hard in the old world. He looked at the others. "Would you like me to fly up and try to locate this building?" He asked them.

the scent of death filled the air of the Old World, hundreds of skeleton bones and human ash were scattered across the ground, the air was still smoky as if the buildings were still burning
Mary stuck to the shadows, ducking in and out of the decayed buildings making sure not to be seen, moans from what seem like creatures echoed in the far distances, the closer she got to the center of the city the louder they became. she didn't want a fire fight down here, the sounds of gun fire could draw every living thing to her position.
as it slithered behind zionna and xenrath, following and there footsteps, the clocked mutants waited for the perfect opportunity to strike, as more gathered around them, they made a small hissing sound. one moved in closer to make the alpha attack, while the others followed it.

Dragon knew he was being followed not just by the other mercs, but creatures as well. He switched back to his thermal vision to see if he could get a reading on anything using camouflage. Immediately his vision was filled with heat signatures of things crawling everywhere. As he continued forward, a mutant crawled behind him, getting ready to make the first strike. As powerful as Dragon is, he has no chance of surviving an attack from his back.

max and Ricca stayed close to Mary, trying to not draw attention to any of them. Jethro on the other hand had been following the others, his senses leading him, he knew there was something following the group. "is there something wrong" he asked dragon cautiously.

"Observation: I think we are being followed. Be ready." He said this in a low voice so as not to draw to much attention to themselves. Since Dragon was bigger than Jethro, he was hoping that if something was following them, it'd go for him instead, as he seems weaker.

"thanks for the heads up." he said grabbing the hilt of his sword.
"sister, what does this thing do anyway? i know its not my place to ask but...." Ricca stopped and looked over at max. "i think i saw something moving over there." he pointed p at a ruined building across what used to be a street.

Seven got no responce, so, he thought it best to do things the way his programming saw was best. His legs turned to jets as he flew high up into the cavern. He looked over the old world, bringing up the map he had seen earlier, using it to find the National Library. He looked for a close and safe landing spot as he saw mutants being drawn to the bright lights of his jets.

The creature was silent in its approach towards the two. When it got within range, it pounced on Dragon's back, as it recognized it as the bigger threat. Flailing around, Dragon tried his best to shake the creature, but could not. It grabbed hold of his fuel canister and took a bite. The resulting fireball engulfed the creature and Jethro, sending each of them flying into the nearby buildings. The noise and light from it alerted most of the mutants as well, sending them into a frenzy towards Dragon. They piled on him with lightning speed and tore him apart till he was nothing but scrap metal.

Lights flickering dimly, shining only one one spot while the rest remains hidden from the world. The light was the only comfort Ho'ne had since he entered the ship. He has been listening to everything around him, but thinking of his farewell to his family. Wishing it was easier to do. The ship came to a full stop, Ho'ne got up and left quickly as possible. "Come Enthk" a large bird followed him out in a unknown area. "Let our luck lead us to our goal." And ran into the unknown.

Jethro looked up just before dragon's tank exploded "eep" his eyes went wide before he went flying into the ruins. he woke up seconds later in pain. he got up slowly wincing. "hello?! hello?......anybody?......" he stood there alone in the room overlooking the the horde ripping dragon apart.

before she could answer them, Dragons tank exploded, knocking her into a near by window of one of the destroyed buildings. coughing a little as she slowly stood up, she felt a little disoriented from the blast "what in the lords name, just happen?" looking up to see them crawling over the area, picking apart dragons body. without hesitating, she made a mad dash down the street, it was a perfect distraction for her. who knew how many was out there, but what she did know was that she was still alive.
she could still hear there hiss right on her trail, she turned around started firing blindly behind her. she was able to hit and kill one of them but that didn't slow down the rest, in the distance she saw a building that was still standing and not as badly decayed as the others, the word museum could still be seen on the wall "god i hope this is it" she said as she made her way to it.

"ya i got it, i will take care of them all, don't worry they should be close to it by now, am leaving" he said as he slipped his phone back into his pocket with an evil grin as he walked off his ship. he saw Ho'ne walking off to the cave "hay kid" he whistled to him "how would you like to make a loot of money?"

Seven saw the sister running for the museum. He knew if he would enter first, it would more then likely kill him, so, better to clear the path for someone else insted. He turned his hands to miniguns again and flew over her, facing backward and fired automatic fire into the leigon that was following her. Shooting them down closest to her first. "Clear the way, sister." He called to her from above, "I will draw the hoard."

Zionna and Xenrath were making a dash for the museum, fighting off anything that stood between them, Zionna's eyes keeping careful watch all around them while Xenrath blasted everything with his cannons. They reached the door of the Museum. "Turn on your flashlight, this place is most likely crawling with these mutants and it appears that they are intolerant towards light." Xenrath set his flashlight to full power and blasted open the door, staying out of the doorway, waiting for something to come out.

the museum was filled with the last known relics of the human race, a gold mine for relics hunters and a death trap for others. in the lobby stood two hollow metal knights, there swords were crossed with a sign that said "welcome to the national liberty museum" hanging below. the lobby had a glass dome shaped roof with a few busted out windows, a 1909 Blériot Type XI hung from it on steel rusted wires. there was a old wooden staircase that lead to the upper floor painting exhibit and other fines arts, to the right was the museum dinosaur collection and to the lift was the museum national library.
running inside and closing the door behind her "what are you two doing? find something we can use to barricade this door, who ever else outside is dead to us" she said as she pushed the knights over onto the door. Mary seemed a bit panicky as she searched around for items she could use to barricade the door up with.

Seven saw the door close, he also saw an entrance on the rooftop, and the mutants climbing the walls. He got in the rooftop entrance and closed it, barracading it with whatever he could find, which turned out to be a bench, two stone statues and a mirror. He lit up one of his flight stablizers as he landed back on his feet. The stablizer lit up the corridor. Signs leading all over the museum. He read the signs. It was dark, silent and he was alone.

Jethro watched in horror as everyone ran away. he was alone...he saw Ricca make it into the museum just in time before the doors were barricaded and max jump into what looked like an old nightclub. he heard hissing coming from behind his as a mutant prepared to strike. his eyes were slightly bloodshot while his mental condition continued its slow decay into one stronger personality.

Xenrath and Zionna followed Mary inside. Xenrath pushed a stone pedestal into the doorway, blocking it off completely. Zionna flashed some more pictures and sent them to mother, including a picture of Mary and a query of where exactly where the Heaven's sorrow is. Zionna watched Mary closely, not sure of what to make of her.

While inside the museum, there was too much static interface to make contact with Mother.
leaning against the wall, Mary took a deep breath and wiped the sweat from her brow. "that was a close one" she said as she started to reload her guns. the mutants snakes were still picking at the door, the door itself wouldn't last for much longer at this rate "ok well this is the part where we split up, i have to personally thank you all for getting me this far and being my meat shield" she said as she pointed both her guns at the group "i shall leave you now with your friends here at the door" one of the mutant snake claws busted through the door, she fired a few rounds at the door before running off into the library area and shutting the door behind her.The library had a labyrinth like style to it, a maze of book covered walls with narrow a passage way up and down the isles. the sounds of chains scrubbing the ground echoed in the labyrinth.
the mutant snake slammed his claw down into Jethro leg pining him down to the ground, he let out a loud croak alerting the others of the pray it caught, as he raised up his other claw for a killing blow.

Seven opened a door which lead to the labyrinth like maze that was the library. The interferance was messing with his systems, he couldn't get a layout of the area or anything. He looked at his options. Left, right or straight ahead. He heard something else moving in the maze. Could it be another member of the team, or something else all together?

Ricca went in with seven looking for Mary, she quickly made a decision to go left and ran off on her own, hoping that her brothers were OK. she took out her robotic eye and started using it to check around corners.
Jethro quickly drew his sword and cut himself free before rolling over and unloading a whole clip from his M16 into the things chestcavity. he slowly pulled himself over to a corner and slowly tried to calm himself. he had never been this far from Ricca, never been alone, he started to panic, his mind blurring and deforming more, melding the three into one. the only sound he could hear other than his laboured breath and rapid heart was the cold hissing of more of those things coming to kill him.
max stood up in the club, it was almost pitch black and he knew he wasn't alone he drew his SMG2's and let his senses highten.
the three shared the same feeling of dread......at that moment they all knew it..........only one of them was going to leave that cave.........so one question remained in their mind.........who was the strongest of them all?

"She knows more then she lets on, we must follow her." Zionna said to Xenrath. They both entered the library, only to see a lizard run left, Mary was nowhere in sight. "I can't make contact with mother..." "Forward." Xenrath declared and began to run down the hallway. Zionna followed quickly behind. "I'll just blast straight through the bookshelves." "No! Haven't you picked up the rattling yet? What about the fact that there are barely any mutants in here? Whatever is in this maze is defending the Heavens Sorrow, and it is very powerful." at the end of the hall the bookshelves split left and right. "Which way?" "I don't know, this building is preventing me from contacting mother." "Guess it's trial and error then." They both went right.

Right as they turned the corner a huge humanoid being stood in front of them blocking there path, his blade arm was raised in the air, and with great force sliced off the robotic arm of Zionna before knocking her through multiple bookshelves, he then turned his gaze at Xenrath. his arm raised again, this time ready to split Xenrath down the middle.

Traveling on top of the bookshelves looking down at Ricca, waiting for the right moment to pounce on her, this humanoid moved a bit faster and a little skinner, with a buzz saw for a hand. without warning he pounced on her, pinning her down with his normal hand around her neck and his buzz saw hand moving to cut off the top of her head.
After hearing the mutant snake croak, the others moved away from the door and made there way to the destroyed club, surrounding it from all angles then quickly moving in for an attack.
frantically moving down the isles "Bs, Bs, where are the Bs... " she said as she turn the corner into a dead end, a sign hung above one of the bookcases that read [B section] "here we are" she said as she pulled out her bible and look for a gap in the section where a book used to be there. in the background she could hear the gun blasts from the others getting closer "dang where is it.... found it" she said as she placed the bible in the gap, there was a loud unlocking sound as the bookshelf started to move to the side and reveal a under ground stairwell.

"Zionna!" Xenrath yelled, he aimed all of his weapons at the beast and fired, hoping to kill, or at least push it back.
Meanwhile Zionna pushed off the wreckage of the bookshelves and watched in horror as the beast raised it's arm "Xenrath run!" Suddenly somehting caught her attention, far down the new hallway she was in, was mary, standing infront of a moving bookshelf. The she heard Xenraths guns go off.

Seven heard the gunfire as he went deeper into the labyrinth of shelves and books. He was relived, he felt that this would give them a great oppertunity to get past unnoticed. He then heard the opening. He ran to where he thought it came from. He got to a dead end and saw the opening was just the other side of the shelves, but, to get to it, he would have to re-negotiate the labyrinth. He then remembered some of his most basic programming. The shorttest distance between two point was a straight line. Factoring where he was as A and where he wanted to get to as B and only these shelves stood in the way, he switch his arms to the more powerful blaster form and shot booth at the shelves, blasting them clear over the hole and onto the ground. He then jumped down into the underground stairwell lighting up the way to see what was going to be down there, if the sister didn't get to it first.

Ricca laid there pinned, she reached for her sword only to realise that it had come loose when dragon exploaded. she grabbed one of her guns and moved her head just in time to dodge a killing blow but instead the thing cut into her shoulder sending her cold blood across the floor and her gun sliding across the floor. she grabbed the thing around the neck with her tail and tried to desperately pull it off.
max heard the rustling out side but he didn't really care, he had found something he never thought he would find and was just waiting for the buildings generator to kick in. he walked over to the DJ's desk and waited, guns ready and music chosen.
Jethro looked out the hole in the wall and watched the serpents entrap the club he was starting to cry when he realised....<its me.....the others are doomed, ricca...max...there going to leave me.> his mind was a mess of mangled thoughts, his transformation was almost complete.

It was morning time outside of the cave, the mutants who were guarding the entrance have long sense retreated deep down into the cave, the way was now clear. Turk took Ho'ne with him, just in case he needed a body to slow down the other mutants in the cave "see my boy, i have a master plan here, by now those fools would have reached havens sorrow and cleared the way for us, if they haven't, selling there equipment off there dead bodies should make us a bit of money" he said laughing a little as they walked through out the cave. "here we are" he said jumping down into the whole that lead to the Old World "man am shocked they made it this far, stay close and keep it down"
A steel grappling hook rapped around Halfeb as he was falling down and was quickly pulling him back up, it was the hand of those slim humanoids pulling him up at rapid spreed
the blast from zionna's guns did little to no damage to the monster, just pushed him back a little, the humanoid started to swing his blade wildly as he charged back at them at full speed. blinded by rage it grabbed Zionna by the skull and held him up in the air, ready to crush it.
he took his hand from around Ricca neck and grabbed her tail and quickly cut it off with his buzz saw arm, then holding her tail above her head and letting the blood drip over his helmet.
At the club, they started to slip in one by one, some entering in from the roof and the others from the front door, they spotted max and started to surround him.

Halfeb switched to his flight boots as he felt the hooks pull on him. He aimed his legs up so he would, at least, slow his attackers pull. He then switched his arms to thier blasters and aimed for the rope that was coming from back up top, going to blast through it. No mutant was going to stop him from completing his mission, that would not be logical to him.

Ricca gave one final attempt at freedom, she lunged at the things throat. she was able to squeeze free enough to grab her gun and fired. the bullet just hit and ricochet away, she finally gave into the pain......she had always been the strongest in her family......but now she just hoped the others were stronger than she. she fell to her knees and looked to the ground, feeling the thing moving closer. seconds later cold red blood dripped down the walls and pooled around the remains.
max saw the things coming in and surrounding him "lets rock." 'sad but true' by metalica starter to play loud enough to echo through the city as he raised his SMG2's and started unloading in all directions with semiautomatic fire.
Jethro started making his way down to the street when he heard the music, hi started running faster.

(I think you mean Xenrath about to be crushed by the monster because Zionna is a couple bookshelves down, out of reach. and she didn't shoot at the creature.)
Zionna took one last look at her brother from between the fingers of the beast. She received a single word editing file. It read "Go sister, complete the mission" The creature tightened it's grip, cracking Xenrath's helmet. The beast clamped it's hand shut, shattering Xenrath's head, the fragments scattering all over the floor and electricity jolting from Xenrath's exposed circuitry. Zionna had burst into a run towards where Mary was, She had set her Ion cannons to full power and put on the strongest amplifiers she had in her possession.

Turk & Ho'ne slowly slipping pass the club were all the mutant snakes were starting to gather around, the streets were clear, not a soul around. "i have to give those guys some credit, they made it this far" he said as he made his way to the mesuem. as they approached the it, Turk pulled out his grappling hook and started to scale the walls of the mesuem, it didn't take him and Ho'ne long to get to the top and drop down from the class dome "here we are my boy, where dreams come true and where we get a nice pay day" he said as he opened the doors to the library.
inside the club one of the mutant snakes grabbed max from behind, holding his arm together as it bite down onto neck, releasing a toxin that paralyzes its prey. the rest of the surviving mutants started to gather around him for the big feast.
The mutant that was holding Halfeb jumped down on his back, as they both landed on the ground together. the mutate held on to halfebs back as it started to pull circuit wires out of him.
Mary smiled at Zionna as she made her way to the underground lab where Havens Sorrow was being held. the entrance to the lab was behind a large vault door with a still working computer computer monitor "this is amazing, after all these years, it still has power" she said as she wiped the dust from the screen "all i need now is for her to open it for me"

Zionna finally reached Mary and saw the vault, a computer monitor beside it. Zionna instantly went to work on hacking through the door, she glanced behind her several times to check for the beasts and to glance at Mary. after a small while of typing Zionna pulled out a cable connected to the back of her "head" and connected it to the console. A command prompt ran on the computer, instantly being worked into by Zionna, the command prompt suddenly closed, the computer screen went black, and the vault door unlocked. Zionna stepped back, and watched the door slowly slide open.

Seven swung his top half around and with his blaster still out he blasted the mutant, knocking it clear across the room. He then ran over and jumped on it and blasted its head, making it explode. As he stod of the mutant, his leg went from under him, bringing him to his knee. Warning signs popped up on his eyes. The mutant had severed important wiring. His other leg went out as he fell on his face. He started to crawl as his inside circuiting turned off. He made it to the chamber where the Heavens Sorrow was being kept. As the wiring in one arm gave out he still used the other to crawl as he went forward and touched it with one hand, his body finally collapsed. Lifeless and he finally shut down.

As the vault door opened a bone chilling breeze rushed passed them to reveal a frozen chamber. Clock wheels slowly turns in the back as it sits in front of a human sized stasis pod that's waist deep in ice . "in the ninth circle of hell, avoid of all god's warm heavenly light, a dark icy pit which houses the greatest threat known to mankind, heavens sorrow" she said as she pointed her gun at Zionna "you were a great pet, but its time to put you down, so where do you want it, the head or the gut?"
Turk & Ho'ne moved quickly through the library labyrinth, dodging the humanoids who were busy feeding off the bodies of the others to even noticed them. Turk found the entrances which lead to the vault "so it was here all alone, I've searched to place from top to bottom, and all i needed was some silly old book" he said as he started to make his way down the steps to the vault area. he stuck to the shadows when he saw Mary pointing both her guns at Zionna. he crouched down and took aim with his pistol before letting out two shots, a bullet in the head for each of them. "and my mission is down" he said as he pushed a button on his cell phone that that turned off the communications jammier on his ship, then he made a phonecall "yes...yes... its done, send in a clean up crew, I've found it, just make sure you have my money......... i don't care if your neutral city or not just make sure you have my money" he said hanging up the phone and looking back at ho'ne, "well my friend were very rich, who would think Nu'Casa would have the balls to want such a thing."
