(Once again I'm just doing something which I have no idea where is going, all I know is that I wanna keep the mood dark for most of the time.)
Deep inside a forsaken forest a lonely wolf laid inside a rusty car wreck full of holes. Heavy rain fell from the dark night skies in the fog that was as thick as syrup. The wreck was the only shelter the wolf could find, and even though some rain poured in, it was better than the terrible conditions outside.
She was shivering and softly whimpering as she curled up in the backseat trying to stay warm. She could barely see anything outside, only elusive sillhouettes of some trees. She was exhausted and hungry, and her hand was shaking a bit as she looked under the seat for something to eat, without results.
All her senses were heightened and she was growing paranoid. She thought she was all alone in the forest, but she was not certain, maybe someone else was feeling just as terrible at this very moment? "Is this the end?" she thought to herselves as she looked down and wept a tear that slowly hit the legrest in front of her.
-
the cave was full of the sounds of the rain outside, serpington lay curled up under and on some fur blankets he had acquired over the years of living in the warm cave. he thought he saw something wove in his old car and decided to grab one of the blankets and check it out. after a short climb down a hidden path he reached the crash and opened the door. "cold?" he smiled finding the wolf and extending a scaled hand the lace monitor offered her warm shelter and food.
-
"serpington, but not many people know that I'm still out here. i see you found my old car." he smiled handing her the fur off his back. "I've been here for for years now but don't worry, you are free to go any time you wish. if you get tired theres a sort of bed near the back." he said leaning against the closest rock wall in nothing but long pants after lighting a small fire near the wolf.
-
"i was once a great thief, but during my last job i lost controle of my car and ended up here. i stayed because this place is so calm and tranquil. it has the power to change people for the better" he said looking up at the roof of the cave quietly. "i hope you are able to get your memory back, and if you wish once the rain is over i can lead you back towards the city i came from."
-
"no, it rains often but theres hours between rains. as for clothes i think there might be something you can wear in the back, I'll go check. so what may i call you?" he asked getting up and heading into the depths of the cave.
-
"put it this way, fortknocks still hasn't realised i was there ten times over the span of a year. I'm not greedy but those around me needed financial help." he smiled walking back with a pile of clothes. he want over and sat looking at the wall. "and that name sounds nice, bloodfang it sounds like you had an interesting past."
-
"wether made by blade or not, they are in your past. rest if you will, and try to be who you are naturally rather than the person you once knew as yourself, then you will find the true you." he said hearing her finish getting changed. and the leather wasn't all mine. lost travelers sometimes drop things because they become a hassle or the other reason, so i collect what i find, clean it up and store it in case its needed later."
-
serpington watched her walk past, once see was asleep he stood up and walked to the entrance of the cave. he sat there watching over bloodfang as if they had known each other for years.
-
"yes i was here all night, and all day." he chuckled slightly. "looks like you needed a good rest. and i couldn't bring myself to wake you." he looked over at her and smiled at the flattened section of fur she had been laying on. "if you were wondering you were out all night and half of the day, but the rain should start letting up soon."
-
"you are more than welcome, and help your self to anything you may find. what is mine, is yours." he said calmly standing up. "I'll be back I'm a little while, I'll get us some more food." he walked out of the cave and into the rain leaving bloodfang alone in his home.
-
serpington found his bow and followed some tracks he located, the tracks lead him to a dear taking shelter under a fallen tree. he quietly drew the bow and muttered a sort of thank you to dear for the sustenance it would provide. an arrow hit the dear in the neck killing it instantly.
he returned to the cave later with roughly cut slices of meat over his shoulder. "I'm back, i hope you didn't go crazy with boredom alone in here." he joked walking past bloodfang and put the slices on a large flat piece of metal over the fire.
-
"same here, but at least you didn't implant your only means of transport into a tree." serpington joked turning around. "so do you remember much of who you were?" he asked sitting down across from bloodfang still smiling gently while cleaning some blood off of his scales with some spare cloth.
-
he put the cloth down next to him and looked back towards the cooking meat. "sounds rough. but I'm sure its not as bad as it sounds. so did you find anything of intrest while i was gone?" he said quickly changing the subject.
-
"everything on that rack has a story behind it. i just can't remember any of them, but feel free to test them if you want, i have no real use for them. and as for the clothes, have what you like, I'm sure theres something you of some one you know would like." the cave grew quieter as the rain slowed to a light sprinkle outside the cave.
-
"you look beautiful in the sun...." serpington said quietly trying to not let bloodfang hear the complement, embarrassed at his own awkwardness around her.
-
Dander blinked up at the thinning clouds as she huddled in a tight feral ball under the roots of a massive overturned oak tree. She twitched her thick fur, spraying off the rest of the rain that had collected in it.
"Finally," she said to herself, and slowly got to her paws and stretched. It had been a long night and a long morning, as she'd had no one to talk to and had been in the small shelter for fear of her tiny body being swept away in the floods. Now she poked her head eagerly between the roots, sniffing at the fresh air. A light drizzle, the last of the rain, pattered onto her nose.
-
Jaggsky woke up and slowly crawled out from under the old abandoned boat house with a few drops of water biting his back fur every other foot tell ing him it was raining or it had rained recently. He hoped to god that it was the second one because yesterday was not the best and he knew that getting wet after a bad day would not help him much. He reached the edge of the building stuck a paw out yep it was raining bet not super hard. So he climbed out stretched and set off to find a dryer place to stay.
-
serp looked out of the cave just in time to see something moving under a nearby tree that had fallen over. "hay blood fang, I'll be right back. i just need to check something." he got up and walked out of the cave with a warm coat in his hands. he cautiously moved over to the tree and heard a voice before seeing a small nose pop out between the roots. "hiding from anything in particular? or are you just cold?"
-
Dander's nose twitched in surprise and she continued to squeeze her head out of the roots until she could see the source of the question.
"Just cold, and wet" she replied. "I don't know where I am. I'm lost."
-
"your a long way from where ever you came from, that's all i can say. come with me, I'll take you somewhere warm." he smiled offering his free hand and the coat to the stranger. "don't worry i don't bite."
-
Jaggsky continued to walk trying to figure out what happened yesterday but soon gave up because he soon relysed that it dident matter much anyway. then he noticed a lase monster over by a fallen tree and it look to him like he was trying to something or someone so he started in the direction of the lase monster to see what was really up.
-
((lase monster???? its lace monitor......))
serpington heard footsteps on the wet forest floor behind him. "another stranger, well this is interesting. four years of seclusion and now three guests in twelve hours. this must be my lucky day." he smiled happily turning around.
-
The fennecat crawled out into the open and draped the coat over herself, taking his hand and smiling gratefully.
-
(sorry bout that tis was a mistake)
"Hey there" jaggsky said trying to mask his sadness with his normal cheerfulness and his fur was messed up in places from the rain "sorry if im sounding needy but i need some place dry can you help"
-
(i wasn't to worried, it just caught me offguard.)
"certainly, theres food and clean clothes there, i would offer water but it looks like you've both had enough of that." he lead the two back to the cave and sat back down near the fire. "feel free to look around, have what you want just try to leave some for the rest of us and remember, your free to leave at any time."
-
"oh thank you very much" walks over to the fire to try to dry off "for once this water loving jaguar completely hates the stuff and it really hard to make me hate water" Starts to lick the messed up patches of fur he's still trying to fully figure out how in the world he got under that boat house. He stops periodically and stares at random parts of the ceiling for a long short moment then continues licking.
-
*shakes paw with Bloodfang* "Hey Im jaggsky but you can call me Jaggs if you want, and to your other question well i don't know really, but what i do know is that i do recognize this area kind of"
-
"the last thing i remember doing is completely passing out under tat boat house over by that lake and strangely nothing before that" he lookup at Bloodfang and continued on "my legs where sore when i woke up tho so i think some one was chasing me but im 100% on that as well" he starts to play with the tip of his tail a little and look around randomly
-
"it was nothing, and its not like i could just let you freeze out there." serpington said calmly walking past and grabbing one of the peices of meat.
-
jaggsky moved his head to some what look a Surpington "ya thanks for letting me chill here, and why do i have the strangest feeling that someone out there is after me... oh well"
-
"out there?" he said referring to out side the cave. "even if they do find us, we're well defended." ha smiled nodding his head in the direction of the rack of different weapons.
-
"I think that.. who ever they is, still think that im still under that boat house where theyll have a really hard time finding me now" he smiles happily at that fact
-
Dander huddled by the fire with her eyes closed contentedly until her shivering stopped. "Thank you kindly," she said to Serpington. "You know, I have that same feeling, like something's hunting me. It's weird."
-
"dang it mental compass is messed up at lest im safe from them now" purrs quietly to self then grabs a little meat for him self
-
"Yeah," she agreed smiling warmly. Watching Jaggsky eating, she realized for the first time just how hungry she was. Delicately and trying to be polite, she took a small piece of meat for herself.
-
"maybe, maybe not it depends" jaggsky Similes at Bloodfang
-
"I don't want to impose," Dander said finishing her piece and timidly taking a little more.
-
Jaggskys legs are feeling a little better now so he slowly gets to his feet feeling a little adventurous and needing a little time to himself he grabs a chunk of meat thats bigger than his last one but not by much. Then he sets of to do some exploring of the cave.
-
"don't worry so much about being polite. if your hungry then eat, if we run out then i can go and get some more. so relax an think of it this way, grab what you need when you need it and don't be greedy and you'll get along just fine." serp smiled softly looking over at dander.
-

-
Dander smiled, feeling more relaxed, and took a piece that was a little bigger. After she finished, she yawned and curled up in a ball beside the fire.
"I haven't had a good nap in days," she said, her eyes narrowing sleepily.
-
Returning from his little exertion he watched Dander yawn he suddenly felt napping as well "I could use a dry 'cat' nap for my self" he then layed down next to the fire and curled himself into ball and slowly fell a sleep
