You are a contestant aboard the S.S.GF, a vast cruise ship meant to ferry the contestants of Gore Fest to Lachesis, a small port town on the middle island. Gore Fest takes place on the island of Atropos. There are three islands in all. North of Lachesis is the smallest island of Clotho, where the mansion of Ed Dynasty is located. Ed Dynasty is the owner of Dynasty
Industries, the ones who fund Gore Fest on the island of Atropos which is South of Lachesis. Atropos is a large island which contained the alleged utopia of the world; The city of Archteris. A vast metropolis covering most of the island. The city held several million people which all came ill to a mysterious disease one day. It killed everyone on the island for the most part...Though they didn't stay that way for long. The undead infested the city and island shortly after the incident. That's when Dynasty Industries moved in, creating a massive quarantine around the island. Nothing that went in would ever come out, and the virus that spread wasn't airborne so there was no risk of infection getting off the island. The quarantine was just insurance, and a way to keep contestants inside. Ten years in now one has ever been able to make it through Gore fest. Ed Dynasty got more and more rich as time progresses, feeding off the game he created. Gore Fest is known world wide, watched too. A new form of entertainment for those who don't try their luck at it.

All around the ship screens play the advertisement for Gore Fest. A picture of a zombie head appears in the center surrounded by blood behind it. "Gore Fest, Gore Fest, Gore Fest!" Every time it was said the zombie head shook and grew until it ceased saying it and went back to normal size. "Can you survive the it?! Can you last a whole month?!" The screen flashed with random footage from the past, various people mowing down a horde of zombies with large weaponry. The videos stopped when a crudely drawn sack of money fell from the top of the screen blanketing the screen with a shower of hundred dollar bills. "If you can win the game you get to claim the cash prize! A sum of TEN-MILLION DOLLARS!" The money was replaced yet again with the previous zombie. "TEN-MILLION DOLLARS!" The zombie did it's shake and then bit the screen to a close, ending the advertisement. Following the advertisement the loud speakers sounded. "Attention contestants. We shall be docking at Lachesis soon, ETA one hour. That is all."

A weasel stood in a small cage, it was only a few square feet and about six feet high. He straight jacket was fastened and he was hunched over looking at the ground. A guard sitting on a wooden chair in front of him kicked the cage with his boot to try and startle him. It didn't work. The chains holding the cage down rattled when it was kicked. He was in what appeared to be a cargo room, surrounded by boxes and other things, the lighting in the whole room was fairly dim. "Hey, kid, you don't scare me! I don't think you're so tough." Nier said nothing and continued to stare at the ground. The guard stood up and got closer to him. "I don't see what's so special about you. Why a little squirt needs such tight security is beyond me." The guard grabbed clipboard hanging from the cage and began reading it. "Prisoner number 8924601...Name True Ho-" "That's not my name!" The guard was startled, enough to drop the clipboard at his sudden outburst. "Oh really? Do you not like your name? What're you gonna do it if I read it? Huh?" The weasel looked up at the guard, right into his eye with his. "I'll skin you alive." His voice darkened more than it already was as he glared at the guard. The eye patch over his right eye. The guard fell back his chair, a sudden fear shooting through him making him unable to stand. As the silence grew footsteps were heard coming towards them. Soon a man appeared, it was a wolf in a black suit. "Take him out, we've almost arrived." Nothing was said for a moment, the wolf looked back and forth at the two. He saw the guard scared and how the weasel was looking at him. "...You spoke to him, didn't you. There is a reason he is not to be spoken to. Nier is...Never mind it..." The wolf stepped up to the cage, breaking the line of sight between him and the guard. "Nier, you know why you're here, correct?" Nier looked up at him with a crooked smile on his face. "If I win, I go home." "More or less...Now will you behave if you are let out?" His smile turned to a devilish grin. "Yes." "Good...Now, guard, let him out." Shakily the guard stood up as the wolf stepped out of the way. He opened the cage, looking away from Nier's stare. He back up and the cage door creaked open, a second later Nier stepped out. The guard couldn't help but to look at his face, sure enough he was still staring. "Boo." The guard yelped and Nier walked off with the wolf following.

Lurch stood looking over the bow of the ship, eager for the competition. He ran his clawed hands through the crest on his head as his eyes scanned the area for the island they were heading for. The advertisements blaring on the ship just excited him even more, he could practically feel a metal bat in his claws, recalling how many skulls he'd made burst like a watermelon at the feeling. His hands clenched the bar that kept him from falling in the water as he took in a whiff of the sea breeze. It wouldn't be long before they arrived. He grinned, smelling blood in the distance. Wouldn't be long at all. He looked away from the water and back to the rest of the ship as he ruffled his wings confidently.

Stuv gazed at the ground, as he thought of the mother land. Cold, limited vision, and no contact with anyone. This will be much of the same, except a whole lot easier, he will see his prey, and he shouldn't have to worry about freezing to death. He claws twitched in anticipation, he would never admit it to the family, but he loves the sight of blood, the warmth of the red liquid, is like a toxin to him. It just gets his cold heart going, as wine red seas of it fall around him, he couldn't help but smile.

Irvin leaned over the side of the ship. He felt like he was going to puke. He hated ships. Absolutely hated them. Hopefully he would vomit. That always made him feel better. He wondered if there would be trees on the island. He also wondered who else was there? Would any of them be willing to join the cause? Which were-- mid thought he puked. He felt much better. He supposed he may as well get a better look at the other contestants. He headed towards the bow, slowly.

Sam stood on the bow of the ship next to Lurch. The fox was bundled up like it was the dead of winter. He was shivering of course but he maintained his composure as he puffed on a cigarette and looked awesome with his Kanye West shutter shades. He couldn't take it anymore. This was no temperature for someone like him. If it wasn't for his red fur, he'd be bright purple and blue. He started hopping up and down like a boxer. He didn't know how that would help but he figured anything was better than standing there. "WHOA! It's COLD!" He exclaimed with a crazed smile at the beaded vulture standing ahead of him. He was getting all jittery again. He looked back and saw the panther approaching from the back. "Isn't it cold out here, buddy!? How do you do that!?" he asked, with his jagged razors chattering away in his mouth.

From the bow of the ship the three islands were in sight. Off to the left was Atropos, the city was visible, even from this distance the city was quite large. Immediately right of that was Lachesis, there was a port town there but it was hardly visible in comparison. Right again was another much smaller island which was Clotho, that island itself was barely visible. An announcement came over the intercom again. "Attention contestants, we will be arriving shortly. Be sure you are ready to depart. That is all." The ship had began to come alive with contestants coming out of their cabins, the three day voyage was nearing it's end and they were excited to finally be able to get to land once again. The deck was quickly becoming crowded, several hundred were out and about now. Many of them were crowding over to the bow to get a look at the islands. A dog walked up to the bow and put his foot on the railing and looked out to the islands. "Ah! I can't wait to get to land!" He exclaimed taking in a breath. "Whoa! What's up with the ships!?" As the cruised along they began to pass battle ships with various cannons and large guns on them. They also passed an aircraft carrier. A man in a business suit, top hat and cane suddenly stood near the dog. "Those are to prevent chance of infection. As well as to keep the contestants within the boundaries." The dog turned to look at the man not realizing he had shown up. "Where'd you come from? You weren't there a second ago." "I walked." "...Whatever...So what else do you know?" "I know the island of Atropos is where this whole thing will go down. Lachesis is where we are currently heading to dock before we are sent there. And there is Clotho, where the wealthy Ed Dynasty resides." "Who's that?" "He is the one who runs the show in short...He stays in his mansion there. Now if you look over there..." said the man pointing. The dog looked for at least a minute. "What...? I don't see anything." He turned back around and the man was gone.

Nier was a deck above standing on the railing over looking the deck with the wolf in his suit standing behind him. He looked down at Sam who was bouncing around. "Hey you! Fox! Stop your bouncing! It's annoying me!" he shouted.

"Hey, you! Weasel! Quit your shouting. Your voice hurts my ears. As for your question, Mr. Fox, born in France so I'm used to the cold," Irv said in his French accent walking over towards the group. "Merde, je baise la haine bateaux...," he swore, "We better get there soon. I'm tired of being on this boat."

Stuv didn't like to be in tight places, he went to the back of the boat, where it was less crowded as he awaited to dock.

Sam ignored Nier's complaint. He kept up his bouncing while the bow became more and more crowded. He spotteded a large shaggy looking dog. Sam's eyes wandered back and fourth before he walked over to the giant contestant. He didn't get his attention, instead he went around behind him and mixed in with the crowd and pushed right up against him. "HEY! Cut it out, punk!" The dog shouted, unable to turn around from all the people. Sam was basically hugging him for warmth. "Hehehehehehe sorry, bud. Can't go nowhere now." He continued to take drags from his cigarette before flicking it in an unknown direction.

Lurch had backed up over the bar that kept them from falling in the water, standing on the edge opposite where he was. He was not one for crowds, especially with the hustle and bustle of everyone coming out on deck. He simply watched. If there was one thing he was good at, it was watching others, and one thing he knew for sure was that the weasel was easily irritated. It would most likely be his downfall if he was a hot head. The fox, he supposed was a little more optimistic about the whole ordeal. Unenthusiastically, he spoke, "Fox, you do realize, only one of us can leave this place alive.. If that's even possible. What is the point in forming bonds when out there you'd be just as quick to blow that panther's head off? There's no point in speaking." He leaned backward, still holding onto the railing, idly.

Nier scowled at the panther when he shouted back at him. The wolf sighed again, slowly reaching into his pocket. Nier jumped from the balcony doing a front flip into a drop kick onto the panther's head. However the wolf had grabbed a small remote-like device from his pocket and pressed a button before the attack was finished. It sent a jolt of electricity through Nier's body disrupting his attack and causing him to just land on the panther. The crowd backed up at the spectacle forming a circle around the two. "(Censored) Jerry! (Censored x 3) I wasn't gonna hurt him!" The wolf too jumped from the balcony and picked Nier up by the scruff of his neck. Nier was practically growling as the two stared at each other. "I think you've had enough free time, Nier...I think it would be best to let out True." "What?! No way! Don't bring out that little fairy!! No!" Jerry reached towards Nier's eye patch and switched it over to the left eye uncovering the right one. "YAAAAY! Thank you, Jerry! You're the BEST! Haha!" Nier's voice had gotten much higher pitched, that now of a young kid. "True, do you think you can behave?" "Mhmm!" True said with an assuring nod. Jerry set True down and unbuckled his straight jacket allowing him to move his arms. He began to stretch happily when he stopped and turned to the panther. "Hey, you okay? He didn't hurt you did he?"

Growing impatient, he started to walk about the boat. Something caught his eye as he walked to and from, a weasel soaring through the air, and then landing on a panthers head, if that wasn't strange rough, the creature flipped it scripts. "I guess you have to be some kind of crazy to participate in some kind of even like this." Stub was stilled bored, but was growing quite restless, deiced just to gaze at the approaching islands.

Irv got up. He had had weasels do some rather strange things to him in his day but THAT was definitely a first. "Non. I'm fine. Merci," he said, brushing himself off.  Irv gathered from the comments made that the weasel had some sort of split-personality disorder. Irv wondered, out of morbid curiosity, what would happen if the eye-patch that the wolf seemed to use to control the personality shifts was removed. Something for a later date, he decided. For now, time to get on this personality's good side in case that psycho came back out. Who knows? Maybe this personality has some sway with the other. "I'm Irvin, by the way. I figure if I'm going to be kicked in the head, I may as well introduce myself first," he said, offering his paw to the weasel.

Sam scanned aross the deck over heads to find and look at Lurch and smiled. "Hehehehehe gives me something to do. Three days on this thing, you might as well see some faces."  He lit up another cigarette and hiked up the zipper on his coat. He figured he'd try his chances at this sorta thing. Sam never won anything in his entire life. Going into Gore Fest wasn't a very optimistic moment in his life. He was almost certain he would be killed and he'd already come to terms with it. This was his suicide mission for redemption. He lifted his Shutter Shades and stared up into the light. "I'm coming home, boys." He laughed.

Lurch remained unamused. He was ready for the people to clear out so that he could take his place on the boat again instead of the opposite side of the railing. At least here he wasn't being pushed around as people tried to see what was going on. He could feel their blood pulsing in their veins. He didn't understand why the took such great interest. They would all see it when they got there. They were all going to the same place.

True extended his paw to Irvin's to shake, the sleeve of his straight jacket hanging over his paw. "Nice to meet you, Irvin, I'm True." he said shaking his extended paw. As he stopped shaking he brought his arm back to his side causing a knife to slip out of his sleeve. It fell to the hardwood deck floor clattering. Jerry didn't look amused. "True......" "It's not mine! Honest!" he said frantically grabbing the knife off the floor. He quickly looked around for a place to ditch it, doing so he glanced passed Sam. Something forced his hand and he tossed the knife through the crowd making it land on the floorboards between Sam's legs. "True!" barked Jerry. "It wasn't me, Jerry!" he shouted as he ran through the crowd away from them all. Jerry pushed his way through them after him.

Before much longer the ship docked. The gangplank went down as the intercom squawked to life again. "Attention contestants. We have arrived at Lachesis, Please take your luggage and exit the ship in an orderly fashion. Once off the ship proceed into town and you will informed on what to do next. That is all." Passengers began to leave the ship and went onto the docks. The town was next to them already, but it was a large town, looking as if it were a city. There were a few tall and large buildings that stuck out over the top of it all. Through the town were more screens, one noticeable one was a large screen in the center. The town itself was already a bit lively, though not as bad as the ship. There were a couple noticeable bars in the main road which was visible from the deck of the ship. A few shops, hotels and other things were visible too. The two hotels on the main road were the large buildings, likely the other three were the same. The contestants flooded from the ship into the town, excited to finally be there. There was a considerably larger amount now, the ones that remained in their cabins came out and left. It was well over a thousand people leaving the ship heading into the town. A lot of them headed to the town square figuring that would be where they needed to go. The square was very spacious, able to easily hold the crowd of people gathering. The sun was still high in the sky, it was about 1PM.

Sam heard a clang at his feet. He looked down to see the knife on the floor and he picked it up. Looking both ways, Sam tucked the weapon away in his jacket and acted the best he could at being cool about it. Pretty soon, the ship had docked and the crowd began to dissapate. Sam wasn't eager to get off as everyone else. He figured he'd wait until the deck cleared. Once it did, he walked down the deck with his small army sack and followed the rest of the crowd. The gangplank was congested with bodies of traffic. Sam was at the end of it, tapping his foot as the line crawled.

The sound of falling metal caught Stuv's attention, when he looked in that direction. He saw a knife, but then it was thrown out of sight. 'Crap, someone will have a knife, ill need to be a bit more friendly, and keep my eyes open', when they docked he waited for the main crowded to depart before he made his way to the town.

Lurch pulled himself over the railing, taking his place on deck as the people began to clear out. He dwindled near the edge of the crowd alongside the fox. "At least your smart enough to not get caught up in the crowd." he commented, eying him warily. He had seen him scoop up the knife, he was not a fool, but he made no mention of it. It was best to play dumb, he found through past experiences.

Irvin waded through the crowd, pick-pocketing quite a few ID cards from other contestants. During his time in Peru he had picked up several useful skills, pick-pocking being one of them. He had also learn to pick simple door locks. After swiping about 10 ID cards he decided he'd wait at the pier for the weasel, where he won't be seen of course. While the first half was a total nutcase, True seemed reasonable enough. Well, he'd make decent cannon fodder if nothing else and judging by the frightened reaction earlier with the knife- come to think of it, where was that knife? Pretty sure it landed near that fox...- it would be easy enough to get him to follow him. In the mean time, he'd look over the competition.

True was followed down the gangplank by Jerry. He made his way to town, as he walked down the main road Jerry pulled him into one of the hotels. "Come on, we need to get your room." "Aww...But I wanna explore." "No, we need to get you to your room. You can play later." Jerry walked up to the counter with a sad looking True following. Jerry slid a piece of paper to the receptionist who seemed shocked to read what was on it. "Uhm, here you are, sir, your room is on the 18th floor. Room number 473!" "Very well..." Jerry led True to an elevator and took it up. A few other in which they payed no mind to had joined them on the elevator car as it closed and went to their floor. They exited the elevator and proceeded to their room. Jerry open the door and led True in. It was a very large and luxurious room. A suite of suites, an enormous bed, a built in kitchen and hot tub. True's eye lit up like he had just walked into a candy store. He immediately ran passed Jerry to go jump on the bed. As he jumped on the bed he noticed the fridge and ran over to see what was in it. He spotted a large supply of coca-cola in glass bottles. A smile reached all the way across his face and he quickly grabbed a bottle. He popped it open with another knife he pulled from his sleeve and proceeded to drink it. "True!" True choked when Jerry barked suddenly. He had also realized he had another knife. "I-It wasn't me, Jerry!" Jerry grabbed him by the scruff of his neck, relieved him of his drink and knife then went into the bathroom. There he stripped him to his boxers and took his straight jacket, already another knife fell out. He sighed and picked it up. "Take a bath, True, I am going to take the knives from your clothes before I return them to you." "Aww...Nier is going to be mad, you know. And he's gonna yell at me again!" "Just ignore him, True. Now go on, I'll be in the other room." Jerry left the room and went back to the kitchen to take the knives out of the straight jacket. He took them out one by one and set them on the counter. It began to make a pile, a large one well over 15 or so knives. "How did he smuggle so many in...? I swear...He's going to go back to prison if this keeps up..."

"Yeah, I'm not a fan of them either." Sam said in response to Lurch. His arm had continued to rub against the knife in his jacket. It was getting quite uncomfortable for him. He slid his arm into his jacket and took hold of the knife, pulling it out but then quickly stashing it up his sleeve as he held the grip in an upward motion. He knew people were eying him. He was sure that he wasn't the stealthiest about that knife when he picked it up or when he slid it up his sleeve. He knew that he now posed a greater threat to most of them. It didn't seem to phase him; however, any sudden movements and Sam would act accordingly. He was ready to fight. He pulled off his shutter shades and stuffed them into his pockets, exposing his bloodshot eyes as he looked up at the back of the crowd.

Irv followed the weasel to one of the hotels, making note of a nearby bar. The hotel was big, very tall. He heard the receptionist say that True would be on the 18th floor in room 473 and wrote it down on a small note pad he kept in his bag. Irvin then went to find his own hotel. It was about a block down and seemed rather old by comparison. The room was nice and he was on the 8th floor though, so it wasn't all bad. After getting situated, he decided it was time to get his potential ally/cannon fodder. Locking the door on his way out he made his way back to True's hotel. He asked a lovely little fox maid where the elevators were. She showed him and he thanked her. Eventually he found True's room and he knocked casually on the door.

Lurch walked to one of the nearest hotels, not so much concerned with quality as he got a room key and headed to a room. The place seemed almost depressing. With the money he did have, he could have gotten a fairly decent one, but he was not one to be picky with where he was going to lie his head. In the end, all that mattered was that there was a bed. He jerked his head around to inspect behind him as he walked down the hallway, swearing that he saw something out of the corner of his eye... But upon further observation, he noted that there was nothing in the hallway but himself and some of the yellowish lights that were above the doors. The vulture scratched his head, then continued to walk down the hallway until he made it to his door, still unable to shake the feeling that something was watching him. He twisted the key in the door and slipped inside, quickly shutting the door behind him, realizing it was dark. His heart began to pound as he groped for the light switch. When the lights illuminated the place, a wash of relief came over him... The room was blank and empty, with tacky wallpaper and red carpet. To the left was a bed and a dresser, along with a small TV and a door leading to the bathroom. "Look at you Lurch, you work for Loan Sharks, and you're getting spooked over an old hotel... You figured you'd be used to it now, given all that you've done." he said to himself, plopping his suitcase on the bed and unpacking his things. "Though usually intuition doesn't lie." He scratched his chin looking at the clothes in the bag.

Sam walked into the first hotel he saw. Failing to seduce the receptionist at the front desk, he was thrown his room key. After catching it with his face, he held them up in salute before walking off to the elevators. When the doors opened, he saw the same vulture from the boat. He thought about saying something but he just followed after him. The vulture disappeared into one of the rooms. Strangely enough, Sam's room was located directly across from Lurch's. He opened his door and flipped the switch. The light turned on and he took in the atmosphere. The room was decent for him. His eyes lit up like a little kid. The tacky wallpaper, disgusting bathroom, and crappy TV was nothing like he'd seen in a long time. There was a ceiling fan as well, spinning crooked and caked with dust in the middle of the room.

Sam dropped his things and jumped up on the bed, which he was sure was gross enough in itself. He jumped like a little kid. His face turned to shock when he noticed the springs were a little too good, shooting him up to the top of the ceiling and causing him to destroy the ceiling fan by knocking it to the floor with a loud bang. Sam landed hard against the dresser cabinet, destroying the mirror and causing him to land in a crumpled mess on the floor.

Stuv was nothing on the wealthy side, he could barley afford his stay at an old run down hotel. When he got there he saw a vulture start to head up to its room. 'I think I seen that one from the boat' he though him self, as he eyes the bird, and got his key, he quickly started to follow the bird, trying to gain loss time. 'If it snip the creature and run it should be dead before long' he thought this, as he stalked the bird, like his ancestors to a water Buffalo. He could almost reach his hands around the birds neck before he heard some loud creature behind him, 'are you kidding me' he thought to him self as he quickly hid in his room.

Jerry heard the knock on the door, around the time he had finished pulling out all the knives. The pile had doubled in size if not more since he had counted. He set the straight jacket down and walked to the door. On the way he reached into his suit, pulled out a small handgun and opened the door slightly keeping the pistol hidden behind the door. It was the panther from earlier. "Yes? What is it? Make it quick, boy." He didn't expect to see him of all people, he was unsure of his intentions but if he wanted trouble he would be ready to protect True as were his orders. As he waited for Irvin to respond True ran out of the bathroom covered in soap suds. "Who is it, Jerry?!" "True! Get back in the bath, right now!" "I'm sorry, Jerry!" he said running back into the bathroom. He sighed and turned back to Irvin at the door.

Outside in the square the big screen lit up, along with all of the screens and televisions anywhere else. Two people came on the screen, behind them a typical news background. They were clearly announcers of some sort, blatantly obvious from the smiles on their faces. The fake and overly happy ones. On the left was a female dog, a golden retriever. To her left a male wolf with all black fur. "Hello, contestants! Welcome to Gore fest! We hope you are enjoying your trip so far. I'm Dennis and here with me is the ever so lovely Alexis!" said the wolf. "Oh come now, get on with the announcement you dog." Alexis responded playfully. "Right, first off, we will be the announcers for this month's show! And we are happy to be here! Now that that's out of the way, we're here to inform you of what you will be doing tomorrow. For the rest of the day you will be relaxing and enjoying the commodities of the town! For the rest of the day all the stores and bars are half price, so enjoy them while you can! As for tomorrow you will all have to retrieve a number from one of the many booths located through the town. Depending on your number is how you will be transported to Archteris. Those who draw an even number will be airlifted into the city via helicopters. Those who draw an odd number will be taken by boats. Both of which will drop you off at random locations in and around the city. Don't worry, the zombies won't be around when you arrive. Well, that wraps up that. Until we see you again! We're always watching..." Throughout his speech he was overly cheery and happy until the last sentence. His tone became more serious and sinister. Immediately after the screen went black.

Irv had hoped that Jerry would have just left him. It was going to be more difficult with him there, but no matter. "Excusez-moi? That's rude. I heard True was here and I was going to the bar down the street so I thought I'd see if he'd like to come," He said. "I'll pay, of course. Oh, don't look at me like that. Having an ally when surrounded by enemies is never a bad thing, I'm sure you'll agree. I can wait until he's done in the bath, though I wouldn't mind being invited in..."

The screen flickered as the announcement blared from his TV. Lurch had nearly jumped almost across the room when it came on, almost shooting off the gun he managed to sneak through in his luggage. "Jesus, you're jumpy tonight, Lurchy." He said, sliding on a jacket and concealing the gun under his sleeve. "At least the bars are cheap. Cheaper than it was to bribe the security to look the other way on my luggage, anyway. I ought to hit up one of them, relax some." He sighed and stretched his arms and wings a bit in the room, then slipped the key into his pocket, eying the luggage on the bed. "I suppose I ought to take care of you when I get back." He creaked the door and looked out, checking the empty hallway again before heading to the help desk. When he got there, he got directions for the closest bar and began to make his way there. It felt like it was going to be a long night...

Sam lay on the floor on the glass from the mirror. "Owwwww." He said to hurt to move. He lay there for a few moment before he picked himself up. He looked at the mess he'd made. He stood up and stretched his back. He looked around. "...Damn." He looked under the bed and noticed there was nothing there. He kicked the fan and the glass under the bed and giggled. He walked over to the window and opened the blinds. The view was awful as he looked out at the gloomy city that was fogged by a smoggy haze. Sam smiled.

He grabbed his jacket, glasses and smokes and walked out the door into the hallway. He was going on an adventure.

Stuv leaned over a toilet and put his claw down his thorat, he didn't care about his wight, he was just increasing his saliva production. Drool spewed down his face as he let it fall into small tubes. He wiped his face clean after he got about 8 bottles worth, and put them in a small step around his hip out of sight. 'Maybe I could go huntting now' he though to him self as he washed his hands. He took out what looked to be a marker and put one of the tube on the bottom end of it, a needle was on its back side to penetrate the tube and use the fluid as the ink would act. The marker was old, and sharp, it would be over all easy to hide, and even easier to use. He screwed on the end to make it look like a marker, stuffed it in his pocket and walked out the door. When he steeped out he bumbed into a fox, "excuse me" he said with a smirk across his. Face.

"You do know he is only 14 years old, right? A bar is no place for him." Jerry said sternly. His phone rang after he said that. He sighed, opening the door the rest of the way and showed Irvin in. He closed the door behind him, stuffed his gun away not facing Irvin and took out his phone. He walked quickly passed him pointing to a couch near the hot tub. "Sit. Stay." After doing such he walk to the other end of the room to answer the phone. It was a short call, but Jerry came back. "The bar it is." He grabbed the straight jacket from the counter near the knives and went into the bathroom. A few moments later he came out with True. "So where are we going?" "Exploring, just like you wanted." "Yay!" True quickly ran to the door and opened it to wait in the hallway. "Come along now..." he said to Irvin.

Lurch walked down the street until he got to the bar. It had neon lights advertising their alcohol in just about every inch of window space there was. Again, he got the feeling of being watched, but when he turned, there was nothing but two yellow lights in the distance above the door of a building. He shrugged and stepped inside the bar, taking note of others there and stepping up, getting a bar stool. He ordered a vodka.

"You do know I was born and raised in France, right? I've been drinking since I was twelve. He'll be fine. All he needs is a little adult supervision." Irv heard a phone go off. "Phone call." Jerry went and came back quickly. Said something about bar it was and then disappeared into the bathroom. Irvin took the opportunity to grab a knife. He took one that seemed balanced enough for throwing, and tucked it in a small slip up his jacket sleeve for easy access if something happened. He was sitting on the couch when the True ran out. After a short talk with an extremely excited weasel, Jerry said "Come along now..." Irv shrugged and rolled his eyes, before stuffing his hands in his pockets and exiting the room. "Hey, True, here. Take this." Irv handed him an ID card of a much old, though very similar looking weasel. "It should help you get into the bar I'm taking you to."

The night was young, the people not so friendly and so full of blood. Oh how Karlyle was going to enjoy taking them down, because no one expects the surgeon to actually be a lethal combatant. Strolling through the streets of the island's town in full attire, he got strange looks from people, and a shout in particular irked him.
"THIS AINT TEAM FORTRESS 2 BUDDY! GO HOME!" He had half a mind to slap him upside the head with a sharp rock he saw, but decided against it, after all he was here for the money, not stabbing people in the face... at least not yet.

Walking into a bar, he took a seat next to a grimy looking vulture, with an equally grimy bartender.
"What'll ya have sawbones?" the tender asked, referring to the red cross symbol on his uniform.

"Newcastle Ale" he mumbled and caught the sliding bottle and took a swig.

Sam turned and looked at Stuv, who'd bumped into him. "It's cool, brah." He said, lighting up a cigarette in the hallway. He eye'd Stuv up and down, though he wouldn't be able to tell through his shutter shades. The guy definitely looked like he was up to something. Sam narrowed his eyes. He put his right hand to his hip inches from where the handle of the knife was in his pocket. His right hand rested casually on his hip while Sam took drags from his cigarette with his left. "I'm Sam by the way. I guess we're neighbours. Nice to meet you." He didn't offer a hand to shake and for good reason. "You going somewhere in particular?"

As Jerry led the way on to the bar True couldn't stop staring at his new found ID. Jerry didn't exactly approve. As they approached the bar he took the ID from True. "You won't need this." "Hey, that's mean, Jerry!" Jerry ignored him as he came up to the bouncer at the bar. He pulled out his own ID and flashed it to the rather large bulldog. "These two are with me." The bulldog looked behind Jerry and saw True and Irvin. The bulldog looked at True and took a step back, seeming scared of him. "Y-Yes, go right in." Jerry put his ID away and began to walk inside. "Come along now." True skipped in happily behind Jerry. "Wow, Jerry you must be cool!" Jerry simply chuckled and looked around. The bar was dimly lit, cigarette smoke filled the top of the room in a think cloud. In the room were several people, likely from the half priced goods. There were a couple tables with several guards each in one corner. They wore black leather outfits, each of them with black visor-ed helmets at their feet. They were getting drunk, milking the low prices as much as anyone else. Jerry walked to the bar and sat down, ordering a drink. True sat beside him, spinning in his chair. There were various other shady characters around as well, Jerry was just idly drinking, not enough to get any ill effects. He had to stay sharp if anything had to happen.

By the time others began to get there Lurch was well on his way to getting drunk. He wasn't exactly taking it easy on the alcohol. "At least if I go out I won't feel a thing," he giggled, spinning around in his chair to catch a glimpse of everyone else that had been coming in. "Drinks on me!" He shouted. If there was one thing Lurch was, it was a happy alcoholic. He was usually rather harmless if not annoying to anyone around. He slung his arm around the doctor. "Eh, what'll it be?"

Karl casually lifted the drunk's arm off of him, then shoved him into some other undesirable patrons. "What i want for you, my drunken vulture friend, is to mind your personal space, or someone's not leaving this bar with their heart in their body" he said as he took another sip of his newcastle ale.
This gorefest had better be worth being with all of these hooligans.

There was a moment of awkward and silent tension as the two stared eachother down in the hallway. Smoke billowed off the tip of Sam's ciagrette has he stared at Stuv through narrowed eyes. Finally, Sam spoke. "Wanna go for a drink?" His face remained unchanged. Instead, his suspicion was replaced by innocent unamusement. Of course Sam knew that if they kept this up for much longer, someone was going to end up dead. He figured he might as well get to know someone while he was there...and have a bit of fun at the same time.

Irv walked into the bar behind Jerry and True. He really wasn't growing very fond of Jerry. More like annoyed. Whatever. He sat down with them at a table and then ordered them a bottle of gin, scotch and three glasses. "Ever had Gin before, True?" he asked, pouring some for himself and the weasel. He slid the scotch over to Jerry, along with a glass. It was a guess, but Jerry looked like a scotch man to him. If not, he'd just bring it with him.

Jerry poured himself a glass of the offered scotch silently and sipped it. True stopped spinning in his chair and looked at the glass in front of him. "Nope, never had it! I was told to try everything once!" he said happily and snatched up the glass with both his paws. He quickly chugged it and slammed the glass down on the counter. "Wow! That tastes funny!" he exclaimed spinning again in his chair. He suddenly stopped spinning and leaned up to be a bit taller. Once he did that he pounded the count. "Barkeep! Irish Car Bomb! Make it snappy!" he blurted out. True sat back down and threw his paws over his mouth not knowing why he said that. Jerry was surprised he said that too, it didn't sound like something True would say, rather Nier...

"Oh really?" The vulture slurred. It was obvious he had one too many to handle as he stood up and stumbled after taking another dose of alcohol. "Here I am being nice, and you can't even accept a generous offer? That's rather rude." The small gun he held in his sleeve slid out into his hand, in perfect position as if it were a puzzle piece fitting into its proper spot. He waved it around continuing to rant. "Instead of just accepting a round on me, ya gotta threaten me?" He clicked the hammer back and took aim rather poorly and shot at the doctor. Unfortunately, the alcohol had impaired his aim and instead of hitting him, he hit a rather burly looking Rhino in the shoulder, and without thinking, he took another shot, this time clipping someone else in the process. "Whassamatter with this gun?" he said, stupidly looking at it as if it were supposed to aim on its own.

The doctor gingerly placed his hand on the gun, and removed it from the drunken vulture's hands. "I may kill people for a living, but I'm still a doctor, and i'm the one making the patients around here. Now put the gun down before you shoot your eye out" he pocketed the gun for later use.

Jerry quickly turned towards the vulture who took a few drunken shots off from a concealed weapon. He was about to spring into action when a handful of the guards beat him to the punch. Two of them grabbed either of his hands and began to restrain him when another two tackled Karlyle having seen him pocket the weapon. As cuffs were slapped on someone came up behind Irvin. A large burly beast of a dog. He spun Irvin around in his chair, grabbed onto his collar and pulled him up face to face. The dog was so tall Irvin was dangling a bit from being held. "Oi, you got a problem with the Irish, proud Frenchman!?" barked the dog angrily. A few others behind him stood from their seats. "A Frenchman?!" "French?!" "Who's gotta problem?!" It was clear they were all Irish and angry at Irvin's comment. They began to make their way towards Irvin when a fancy dressed cat called out to the, he had a thick French accent and was grouped with a few equally fancy looking feline men. "So you dogs can here, no? It is amazing you are not all drunk!" The cat chuckled, and so did the ones around him. Without warning a dog came from behind said cat and abruptly broke a chair over his head. That sent the two groups into a brawl instantly. That prompted the one holding Irvin to slide him across the counter through all the patron's drinks and then onto the floor. The rest of the guards in the corner tables sprung up and went into the melee as well. Mean while the guards that detained Lurch and Karlyle began to haul them out of the bar. The two were dragged off down the road, the sun was also beginning to set. They eventually reached a checkpoint and were pawned off on a couple other guards, these ones however were armed with assault rifles. Looking around it was some sort of facility, barbed wire fences, guard towers with snipers and patrolling guards. The two were taken inside and tossed into a cell after being relieved of any items they might have been carrying.

True looked at what was happening in the bar, he was quite excited as the fights began to break out all over the room. Jerry snatched him up and took him out of there. "Awww! But this is getting good, Jerry!" "Come on...I'm expecting a call soon...We'll have to leave either way."

"Well, how's that for hospitality?" Lurch laughed, obviously still drunk from his demeanor. He couldn't take anything seriously, even being thrown into his cell. He scooted over to the bars where the other man was, pressing his face between the bars, but not fitting his head all the way through to look at him. Instead, his cheeks were pushed forward, causing him to look almost ridiculous. His arms waved between the bars, and he continued on as if he were friends with the man they had taken him away with. "We go to a bar, have our fun, and they give us a cell to sleep in. At least we get three square meals, amirite?" His voice was obstructed by the bars pressing against his face. He slid further down the bars until he came to a separator that bumped his chin. "So, buddy, whadda we do next, look for ladies?" The vulture grinned and let out a cry. "Because that sounds spectacular to me." He continued on being loud and unruly. "EEEEYY GUARDS? WHERE YOU HIDING THE WOMEN OF THE NIGHT? THE WORKING GALS? You know what I'm talking about."

He looked around the bar and finally found what he was looking for to his left in front of a burly looking Tiger. He reached over and pulled the bowl of peanuts in his direction before tossing a few back. "Got a plan for all this?" Sam asked while referring to the game itself. He looked up at one of the TV screens. Most of them all showed the same thing, but someone had changed this one to the sports channel.

Irv got up, wobbled a bit and then shouted, "Allons donc! You think that's all I've got, you Irish DOG?!" and then waded into the fray. Like hell he was going to let an Irishman beat him! During the brawl he lost track of True and Jerry, but the plan be damned! He had French honor to defend! By the end they had all been kicked out of the bar and everybody was extremely drunk and everybody was everybody's new best friend, Irv included. The two groups then walked down the street talking trash with each other. A French would should, "1000 Euro says a Frenchman wins this game!", and the French would cheer. Then an Irish would shout should something like, "I'll take that bet!" and the group would chant, "Erin go bragh," or something. That's how the night went on. Not wanting to go to bed just yet Irv invited up one of the French cats up to his room for one last drink, where they both promptly passed out without even finishing their drinks.

Karl held his head in his hands and sighed deeply. First day and already he landed in prison. And not even for a blood soaked murder which he was so fond of. Ignoring the drunk he walked up to the bars.
"Listen guys, I'm sure you've got quite a need for skilled medical personal, now if my attire didn't fool your smallish brains, I'm a surgeon, trained and practiced for seven years now. As night fell the contestants on the island were all beginning to head to their rooms for the night. Bars, restaurants and stores emptied for the night from the half priced sales pitches. Most people just wanted rest for the next day, a good nights sleep for the ordeal ahead. Meanwhile in the cells the guard on duty listened to Karlyle. Stricken with a sudden regret he opened his cell and escorted him out of the detainment area. On the way Jerry and True were spotted entering the detainment area. They were escorted by a few guards as well but weren't restrained at all. The guard escorting Karlyle led him to the back of the facility, there he told the guard he was relieving him. Once that guard left he told Karlyle to make a break for it. Ahead of Karlyle was a barbwired fence into a dark alley way. The guard assured him a few scrapes from the wire were nothing compared to what would have happened if he stayed.

The guards escorting Jerry and True came to Lurch's cell. They opened it and removed the drunk taking him to a different room. This room was a dingy place, all of concrete with a few drainage holes in various places. It looked like a place that stored large hunks of meat from the hooks on the ceiling. The guards threw Lurch to the floor and stepped back behind Jerry and True. "I need Nier right now, True...I hope you don't min-" "Aww! I was having fun!" complained True with a huff and crossed his arms. Jerry sighed and switched the eye patch from his left eye to his right. "FIN-O-FREAKIN'-LY! What the (Censored) took so long, Jerry?! Jesus!" blurted out Nier stretching. Jerry pulled a handful of knives from his coat and dropped them on the floor. "...I'm sure you know what needs to be done..." said Jerry turning and walking out of the room with the guards. He closed the thick metal door behind him and proceeded to an observation room. The room that Nier and Lurch were in was a bit dim, there were only a few lights around leaving many shadows in the edges of the room. Other than a few columns, the several meat hooks and drainage holes in the floor the room was quite bare with an ominous look and feel. Nier grabbed up the knives and tucked them away, looking at Lurch with an evil grin.

Karl nodded his thanks to the guard and bolted. He had no clue where to go from here, but priorities first, get a vehicle. Second thing on the to do list, get a weapon, hopefully something surgical.
Third thing on the too do list.

Attend Gore Fest.
It was dark, he was stranded, and guards were sure to find out about him not being there eventually. He counted his stroke of luck when he saw headlights approaching, and even stop.
A man in uniform, probably an employee for the company who hosts Gore Fest, stepped out and made way to the security offices of the outpost. Knowing he couldn't alert the entire island to his escape, he waited until the man was out of sight and made his move.
He opened the door and started the engine and sped off, hopefully before the owner realized he just got car jacked on a company island. Now it was all a manner of finding town in time for Gore Fest.

Lurch had been pretty confused, even up until they got into the room with the little weasel. He looked him over as well as the room and smiled. "Damn, I ask for a lady of the night and get stuck with this little guy? Something's wrong here." He laughed despite the demeanor of the weasel. He unfurled his wings, realizing what they were going to do to him through his drunken stupor. "So it's gonna be this way, eh?" Even in his unlikely situation, he grinned. Before the weasel could take action, the vulture launched himself from the floor and caught one of the hooks in his hand, snipping the cord with his beak. It was an impractical weapon, but it was something. Before he landed he snipped off another, holding one in each claw.

Nier chuckled at the vulture's desperate attempt at arming himself with what he could. Even though he was drunk he would still pack a punch with those hooks. Nier didn't wait further to attack, he suddenly dashed at him and slid under his legs to get behind him. Once there he threw a knife into the back of Lurch's right shoulder trying to disable him.

The vulture growled in his drunken haze as the weasel took his back, feeling a sharp pain in one of shoulders, making him drop the right hook. He reared back and swung his wing with enough force to at least knock his offender off balance, extending it to it's full span in order to smack the slippery bastard. He felt a hard thump as it hit the weasel. The vulture to recoiled his wing and snagged the hook he dropped with his foot, swinging in a mad fit with the other to hit the guy stopping when he felt the hook sink in. It managed to sink into the weasel's side, and a smirk came across his face as he realized he had actually hit.

Nier blocked the first hit with a knife in his sleeve, it was hard enough to break the blade. It sent him back but he went to counter only to see another attack coming. He barely maneuvered enough to avoid serious damage. However it scraped along his side, tearing his straight jacket and flesh. He rebounded quickly and got a considerable distance from him. He then checked his self, clutching his wound. He looked at the blood on his hand and cringed at the sting of his injury. He then began to laugh. "Ahahaha!! Ah...It has been far too long...I suppose being locked up for so many years made me a little rusty. It has been too long since I've actually been hit. Now you're gonna pay!" He remained a distance away, waiting for Lurch to come at him, this time he'd be ready. He took the broken knife out of his sleeve, taking a count in his head. He only had three more knives left. He was going to save a single knife for throwing, one straight to his chest to finish it. But he had to make an opening.

Meanwhile inside the observation room Jerry and the couple of guards were watching the fight. The guards were taking bets actually, seeming very amused with the fight. "I know you're there, I smelled you ages ago." The guards were confused at what Jerry was talking about. "You okay...?" one of them said as the others were looking around the room.

"There's more where that came from." Lurch laughed. He smelled blood in the air, and it wasn't his... It made him feel excited, and before he could think any further, he found himself charging, the hook reared up for another strike. The smell of blood was the equivalent to a trigger for him, it made him want more as if the cut wasn't enough for him.

----

A low growl echoed within the chamber. Rigor was never usually too easy to smell out, yet this old dog had done so. She didn't like it. As the guards were attending to Jerry, she dropped from above with stealth, hardly making noise over the unruly vulture's charge. A grin plastered across her face as she came up behind both guards who seemed oblivious to her presence.

Nier raised two knives as Lurch began his charge towards him, readying to dodge and retaliate. Once Lurch was close enough he would dash right, making it harder for him to attack. After that he would try to disable his other arm with a a stab rather than throwing the blade.

Jerry remained watching the fight, without even moving to acknowledge Rigor's presence. One of the guards however turned to see her. His eyes almost popped out of his head under his visor. He tapped his buddies on the back making them turn to see her as well. "Holy crap!" "It's one of THEM!" The three guards seemed very afraid at seeing her, you could hear panic in their voices and their movements were shaky.

Lurch swung full force with the hook in his hand, but fell forward dumbly as his target shifted to the right. The vulture caught himself from falling with a few flaps of his wings and twisted, throwing a hook kick with his foot that held the second hook. It hooked into something on the weasel and he twisted harder, making the weasel fly sideways in the opposite direction in which he dodged. Lurch had gotten him now, he was sure of it, as he slung the weasel hard into the ground with the foot that contained the hook.

-----

The chameleon dragon's scales rippled, though her eyes had already given her away. She didn't care, she enjoyed toying with the guards. Though, she was surprised she hadn't gotten in trouble given the fact that she always assaulted them if only to prove that she could without getting into too much trouble. She supposed she only managed to do it without repercussions because she hadn't killed anyone. Either way, she opened her mouth widely, letting her tongue escape and wrap around her nose horn in a mad manner. She threw up her hands, making the guards jump and released a, "Boo," which made them lose their wits. Before they could react, her tail had grabbed one by the ankle and pulled him down hard enough to make his head bounce off the floor, rendering him unconscious. She sprang at the second one, taking him by surprise as he watched her give the first one a concussion in horror. The third guard grabbed his stick and swung at her, which she countered by using the second guard as a shield. Unfortunately, her shield received a blunt bash to the head, causing him to almost go limp as she tossed him at the third guard. He landed squarely on the third, and she jumped on top of both using her tail to choke the one on the bottom until he eventually passed out.

Nier was surprised when a hook managed to catch a buckle on his straight jacket. He grunted when he was slammed into the ground. He tried to move but he was pinned by the hook as Lurch kept standing on it to keep him there. Nier's first reaction was to cut his foot, so he did. He released both hooks and began hopping around on one foot holding his other with his only usable hand. As he shouted expletives Nier got up quickly and took this chance to strike. He flung a knife at Lurch's shoulder again which made him put both feet back on the ground and spin around. With his back now turned Nier jumped onto his back and put a knife to his throat. "It was fun while it lasted..." he said before digging the knife in and tearing open Lurch's throat. Nier kicked off his back to get a bit of distance from him as blood spurted from his neck, it went deep, cutting the jugular and a bit of the esophagus. He managed to get his hands to try and cover it but it was useless as he stumbled about. When he turned to face Nier a knife found itself into his heart ending him there. Once done Nier turned and began walking towards the exit holding his wound. Jerry watched the fight and what Rigor was doing to the guards, once Nier began to exit Jerry spoke over the intercom in the room. "Lose the knives, Nier, I know you're hiding them." Nier grumbled and tossed the knives behind him as he walked. "Good, now let True out and I'll open the door." "OH FOR CHRIST SAKE, JERRY!" he shouted. Jerry left the room only pausing for a moment to look over his shoulder to say something to Rigor. "...Just don't eat them...I'm sure you're pushing your position enough..." After that he walked off, he wasn't the least bit scared and remained with his calm and collective demeanor. He headed for the door to let Nier out. Once he opened it True jumped into his arms. "Ow! I'm bleeding, Jerry! And It hurts real bad! And Nier got in a fight again! And-" "I know, come on I'll take you to your room and patch you up...After that you're off to bed...You need rest for tomorrow..."

Rigor chuckled and crept along, following the two. "Got room for three?" She didn't really get a room or anything, she knew the others were in their places by now. In the end she knew she might just sleep outside on a roof, but she followed anyway out of interest, at least for now. It had always interested her how that eyepatch was like a switch for True and Neir. She almost wanted to reach out and switch it now, but she knew she would be reprimanded if she did so. "Besides, Jerry, you know I like to play with the guards. I don't think I've left any conscious after they've seen me."

The bar had cleared out. It was mainly Stuv and Sam left over as the only few left behind were staff and unconcious drunks. Sam was struggling to finish the last pound of wings in front of him. His face and claws were covered in barbeque sauce as he looked down at his bloated stomach which he was sure would evacuate later that night in a mess. He looked at Stuv. He was speechless. He groaned and slid the last pound to him. "Help me finish this." He said, while wiping his hands with the wet nap and drying them on the drunk next to him.

"A very classy female you are..." "Is she your girlfriend, Jerry?" A sudden shocked and somewhat appalled look came on his face. "No. She's merely a colleague..." The three made it to the room after a silent walk. Though Rigor had vanished a couple times, likely to harass more people. But they all ended up in the room. Jerry sat True down on a chair down and retrieved a med-kit from the room. He stripped him down to his boxers again to clean and patch up the wound. "Luckily it wasn't deep. I'll have your jacket sewn back together by morning. For now go to bed." True hopped out of the chair, yawned and went over into the room with the largest bed. "Good night, Jerry, and Rigor." he said wearily and closed the door, leaving it open a bit. "You are welcome to share the bed with True. It's quite spacious and I'm sure he'd enjoy the female company. Or you can find somewhere else to sleep, other than my bed." he said grabbing a phone in the room. He called for a sewing kit and set up arrangements for breakfast in the morning. After that Jerry stood up and went into another room. Inside he removed his tie and coat. He set his gun on the night stand then sat down on the bed to remove his shoes. After that he exited the room and sat back down where the knives were in a pile along with True's straight jacket. He sat back waiting for the sewing kit to arrive which came several minutes later. He got it and began working.

Rigor had not followed True, but instead intently watched Jerry. She was a people watcher, and obviously so as she continued to stare at him, not in an intimidating way, but attentive more or less. She had chosen the couch to sleep on, curling up, then stretching out, seeming almost restless as she looked to see what Jerry was doing. She seemed to take interest in such a small act as fixing True's jacket. She knew that she wouldn't be sleeping tonight. She hardly ever slept to begin with, so she watched. When she got bored, she rolled over, facing the backing of the couch, her tail curling over the edge of it, staring at the texture on the cloth the couch was made from. Even though it was time to rest she seemed restless as her mind was reeling with old memories.

At 7AM all the TV screens on the island lit up. It was Dennis and Alexis. "Gooood mooorning, contestants! Rise and shine!" said Dennis loud and cheery. "Today is the big day, everyone!" chimed in Alexis. "That's right, today's the day everyone will be heading to Archteris on Atropos! But first you all have to get your tickets. Starting now you can begin to get them when you want, just be sure to get one by noon or you won't be able to get to the island." said Dennis with a toothy smile. "Also, up until 9 o' clock you can get free breakfast at the restaurants. You should enjoy this meal, you won't get another like it for a long time." added in Alexis. "That's all for now, contestants! Until next time." they both said with fake, overly happy smiles. After that the screens went to random advertisements and various reminders of when and where to get your ticket. Contestants were getting out of bed now. Though  many were already up and walking around. Several of them packed into the restaurants for the promised free breakfast, many also just ordered room service. There was also several going to get their tickets to just get it out of the way, lines were killer everywhere you go.

Jerry was standing near the window when the TVs came on. He was watching the people several stories below wander about doing their thing. Eventually True walked out rubbing his eyes with one hand, yawning and stretching. "Mmm...Jerry...Did you fix my clothes?" he said sleepily. He was hunched over and yawned again standing in the doorway. Jerry turned away from the window and began walking back to the counter he worked on the straight jacket. "Yes, now hurry and get dressed. I've already reserved a place for breakfast" Jerry grabbed the jacket and tossed it to True who caught it; with his face. He had a hand in the air to catch it but was too sleepy to move fast. He yawned again and went back in the room to dress. Jerry went in his room to get his jacket and things. He didn't sleep that night, he was still on duty, and he had insomnia anyway. As he walked out he was putting on his coat. "You are welcome to join us, I took the liberty to reserve you a seat as well.

Karl floored it in his stolen staff van, barreling through the toll booth into town, literally smashing the road blocks aside, to where he lost control and the van smashed into the side of a building. Not waiting for people to show up, he opened the door and made a beeline for the ships, shoving people out of the way, and getting lots of angry shouts thrown at him. As he was running, he saw a wolf with a good looking bagel sandwich, still running he snatched it from the Wolf's hand and ducked into an alley and hungrily scarfed it down. Thank goodness for the thick crowd or he would've been pummeled to pieces.

Stuv groaned as the sun light pierced his sleeping eyes as someone walked into the dinner he fell asleep at. He groaned w little more, watching the TV, once they said there was free breakfast, he quickly got the waiters attention, and demanded two plated full of Bacon, and eggs. He quickly scarfed the food down, and then broke away, seeing if he could get in line be for they where ten years long.

Sam felt a sharp pain in the side of his gut. He opened his eyes with a start to see that he was no longer in the restuarant but in an alley. A big burly looking chef was looking down at him with a large scold. "Beat it punk!" He said. Sam smiled and stood up from the garbage juice puddle he was lying in that soaked his jacket. "Hehehehe nasty." He slid his jacket off and chucked it into a dumpster. He was now half naked wearing nothing but his combat pants and shutter shades. "I said beat it!" The chef yelled again. Sam looked at him and took off his glasses, revealing his bloodshot junkie eyes. "Morning to you too, good Sir!" With that, Sam wandered off to find out where he was. Crowds grew in the street. He snorted and looked at sickly looking wolf standing against the wall having a smoke. "What day is it?" The wolf's eyes wandered over to Sam and looked him up and down. "The day you get your ticket..." He said before going back to looking in the other direction.

Rigor opened her eyes when she heard movement. She was still facing the back rest of the couch as she had been before. She yawned, uncurled from her position and stretched lazily like a cat. Sometime during the night she had dozed off for about an hour, but she had woken back up and just layed there with her eyes closed waiting for someone to come out of a room. The dragon chameleon rolled over and looked over the arm of the couch as Jerry spoke, realizing that her stomach indeed existed when it grumbled in response to him. She slid off the couch and plopped on the floor, still lying there as if she'd fallen off of it. She eventually got to her feet, ready to follow again.

Jerry led the two out of the hotel and in to a restaurant down the road. A customary flash of some papers by Jerry got the three a frightened waitress and a quick seat. When they sat down the waitress took their orders quickly and scurried off to the back. True had ordered a Coka-Cola with some chicken and fries. Jerry ordered a steak with a glass of milk. Their drinks got there shortly after the order. "Thanks!" said True with a happy smile. The waitress looked at him and practically ran off. "...Jerry...Why are people so scared of me...?"  he asked sounding sad. Jerry sighed and stared at his glass of milk. "It's not you they are frightened of...It's Nier. You should know why." True put his head on his hand as it rested on the table. "That's not fair." he huffed. "Nier sucks!" Just then his hand jerked from under him and he hit his head on the table. After that he just laid there silently waiting for his food.

She camouflaged herself, and rather than follow them out the door, she scampered out the window and took the rooftops. Part of the reason she did this was because she was ordered to keep out of sight from the other contestants, and so she technically could not be bothered with joining Jerry and True wherever they were eating. She eventually ran herself to a lone alley after she watched Jerry and True enter the diner and lifted a lone sewer top. She surveyed the place, even though she was practically invisible to the naked eye to make sure no one was around, then disappeared into the man hole. The ladder lead to an area that looked like a typical sewer area, but with the right navigation, it would eventually run into a secret entrance, and past that a lab.

She maneuvered gracefully enough to take out the two guards that stood watch over the entrance to the lab and enter without a problem. The lab was clean and white, with a few windows that suggested a city scape, but Rigor knew they were false from previous escape attempts. The scientists and security seemed to be bustling with energy, a result from the panic that was spreading like a plague from her absence. She uncamouflaged when she got to the hall of containment cells, not able to contain the urge of irritating the beasties that would be let out into the games. She pressed her face on the glass of some of them, while she simply strutted confidently, savoring the freedom that they didn't have with others. When they roared and went into fits of rage, Security rushed to find Rigor irritating them.

When the food arrived both True and Jerry dug in. True finished first and Jerry shortly after. It took about an hour by the time they paid and left. "Alright, let's go get your ticket." True groaned from his full belly and went along with Jerry. The lines were long, but Jerry walked up to one of the booth and showed the papers. In seconds he got a ticket and read it as he walked off. "456. Even. Looks like you'll be taking a chopper." "Nnn...I think I ate to much...When is it? I might get airsick." "Everyone will probably be getting to their required mode of transportation this afternoon. Then it's off to the island; once there you're very well on your own. You'll have to do what it takes to survive, aside from company supply drops that will be distributed from time to time." "What's in'em?" "Weapons likely, food, maps to various things, various other useful tools and supplies. Some of the stores are actually stocked before the show, with weapons and other provisions." "Awesome! That sounds like a video game or something." "Yes but it is anything but...You will probably want to let Nier handle most things...He's more of a fighter..." "Aww....He gets all the fun!" Jerry sighed as they walked on.

Meanwhile in the underground facility...

Upon Rigor's return the personnel of the facility were both annoyed and happy for her return. The scientists were continuing their observations where as the guards were taking the two guards she knocked out to the infirmary. They were replaced within minutes and more guards and scientists chased Rigor about as she annoyed all the other experiments. "11-9, you have given us quite a scare when you escaped." said one of the scientists. "Yes, it is good you have returned." chimed in another. They were jotting down various things on their clipboards and continuing to observe her. The guards however were not pleased with her antics. They never were. After a little bickering between the guards and scientists a man walked in, immediately the bickering stopped. A fairly older man walked towards the group, black hair, looked in his early 40's with a goatee. He wore a similar white lab coat as the rest of them. "Good morning, sir." said one of the scientists. The man's name tag read "Darl". He didn't say anything rather examine Rigor. "You should keep a better watch on this one. What are you payed for?" the man snapped. "Yessir, mister Darl, sir!" said the guards. "If you feel like escaping again, 11-9, I'll have you assigned a personal guard who can do the job. I'll pull someone from Dog squad. You are not to leave until it's time for a proper field test." said James sternly.(Darl btw)

Karl moved out of the alley and got lost in the crowd. "Since i'm an escapee I doubt they'd give me a ticket, time to improvise" He thought to himself as he glanced around for easy pick pocketing for tickets. He saw some men drinking breakfast in shots, a little too easy, grabbing the ticket from drunkey's hand, he sped off, knowing how efficient the guards were.

"Number 572? So I'm getting a helicopter. At least I'll be on and off before it becomes an issue, because I doubt the guards can accost someone on a helicopter."

Rigor threw up her hands and put them on her hips, mocking the scientist that was scorning her until the guards snatched her up. She grinned playfully afterward, allowing them to carry her off, "I was stretching my legs, alright? Look at that cell." Her face changed to an expression of disgust as she eyed the room when they escorted her to it. "It's practically begging to be remodeled. No colors, no toys, and the people here don't have any manners." She huffed sarcastically, "You could at least give me something to play with other than a wall." It had a heavy metal door with the numbers "11-9" etched in a stencil like font. They placed her in the cement room. There were no windows, and if anything, it resembled a solitary confinement cell. The guards shot out after shackling her to the chains that were attached to the walls and floor, knowing that if she wanted to leave she could have despite their efforts. The chains were merely something added in her absence to use as a provision to at least slow down her antics. When the door slammed shut, she shot the guards dirty looks from the barred slot in the door. "So when's this field test going to happen?" she growled.

"Thank you" he quickly said, smiling, this was his ticket to glory, 'now where to next' he thought, he tunrend around, having to do a double take just realizing what a vulgar creature she was, "er.. eh mama.. now what", "next", "mama I ask-", "NEXT" she yelled, he moved away, irated, wanting this to hurry up, he wanted to kill something with out being penalized.

The morning crawled on into the afternoon, all who held their nerve this far had gotten their tickets. The booths began closing and the people were moving now to their modes of transport. Those with odd numbers headed for the boats at the docks where as the ones with evens headed for the various helipads throughout the town. The boats were large ferries, there were a few of them, several hundred of the contestants got on what ever one they could. There were many many more helicopters however. Blackhawks. The boats were going to set off to the island to Archteris' many docks. The blackhawks were going to land and various helipads or clearings in the city. From there they would have to navigate and survive on their own.

Jerry guided True to a blackhawk and he got on after a goodbye. True was a little nervous and was recommended to let Nier out only after landing. He too thought it was a good idea.

At the underground facility Darl seemed irritated by Rigor's comments. He was turning to walk off when she asked her question. "Soon enough." he replied looking at his watch. "The games should be starting shortly. I am certain...Your need will arise."

Stuv looked around after getting of the helipad, "great now what he said out loud, 'guess I better start making my way to the floor he said, getting inside the building, as he walked down he tried to recall how long he had to survive, or was. It he had to be the only one to survive. He continued onto the next floor, 'should I meet up with other people, or just keep my distances... I wonder how many will die' he knowes he shouldn't... but he smiled at that thought.

Rigor slumped down in her small cell and looked around. She hated it here, and didn't understand why she had to stay cooped up when she could be out roaming, and watching her prey. She stood back up and looked out the slot, wondering if she could pull she same stunt she did last time. She figured from how everyone had been acting they were really meaning it this time when they said she would be let out soon.

"Damn boats..." Sam muttered to himself as he sat and waited in the bowels of one of the oldest looking ferries around. It smelled like dead bodies and fart. Many of the people that surrounded him smelled like vomit and beer. The engines in the next room were making a lot of noise before they were quickly shut off. The ship was rocked with a loud bang. They had reached port. The doors dropped open and many of the contestants began to shuffle out. Sam sighed, for the first time in his life, he felt nevous. All crazyness aside, this was something he knew he shouldn't have gotten into. He laughed to himself before he was pushed out of the boat by those behind him.

The black hawks and ferries arrived at their various assigned locations. The contestants moved out of their transports, a lot were nervous, many still quickly scurried off and disappeared into the city. Eventually the others did so as well. A grayhound was following Stuv as he maneuvered through the building. Though he was paying more attention to a small map. Earlier in the day the hound had met up with a shady character who dealt him a map of the city with various key locations marked on it. Once the two exited the building the hound looked around to get his bearings. He snickered aloud before folding the map up, putting it in his back pocket and ran off. It was clear he had the map and it was easily distinguishable if you looked at it. Night was still several hours away and it didn't seem there was any zombies around. All it was were contestants running about gathering supplies and finding suitable locations to begins setting up a place to hide. This early on people were forming small groups to increase their odds of surviving.

True got off his black hawk and due to his size was pushed around. They landed on top of a couple story high building. The contestants he was with ran off inside leaving True on the roof. He walked over to the edge to get a look around, he saw several of the contestants around going in and out of shops and buildings. He sighed and rested his hands on the railing as he looked out. "I suppose it's time for me to go...Good luck, Nier." With that he moved his eye patch over to his right eye. Nier stood there for a moment quietly. "About freakin' time..." he said to himself turning and heading inside.

Meanwhile at the facility...

A couple guards approached Rigor's containment cell. They opened her door, entered and undid her bindings. "Come on, the suits wanna do some testing. Come with us. No funny stuff this time either." said one of the guards. With two behind her and one leading in front of her they escorted her out of the cell. As they walked you could see a few specimen tanks that were containing something were empty. They continued escorting her down the white corridors, it was so clean it felt odd for some reason. After awhile Rigor was taken through a door, they slid open as they went through them. Inside was a seemingly empty room, from there the guards left her and waited outside. The room was completely white, it looked as if nothing was there, no corners, no door they came through, nothing, just white. "Greetings, 11-9. We're glad you decided to join us. I'm sure you are wondering why we brought you here. Just some tests, we want to ensure you are capable of handling your field test." spoke a voice seemingly from nowhere. "Now if you will..." said the voice again. Suddenly an opening appeared in the distance, a door had slid open. "...Step through the door and we will begin." Inside were a large number of weapons of various caliber to choose from. When inside she would be told by the voice "Choose a weapon that you think suits you and let us know when you are ready."

Rigor followed begrudgingly, not liking the authoritative feel of being a pinned up animal in the eyes of the others there. She looked at the white room carefully, and listened to the voice, acting somewhat like an annoyed child, the voice being the parent, as she tapped her foot and rolled her eyes, not that they could tell due to her lack of pupils. When the omniscient voice silenced, she stepped forward. While she usually didn't care for such formalities, she felt the need to humor the people watching. After all, she had been granted an audience. She disappeared into the room and scanned the weapons that hung on the wall. From guns to medieval weapons, the walls were covered. She finally reached out, grabbing a scythe. The dragon chameleon usually preferred to improvise with what she found in the environment, but given the white, cleanness of what she had seen so far, she figured that there would be nothing available to her past this point. She held it out testing its balance, and threw it into a couple of techniques for good measure, then looked up to where she thought someone may have been watching her. "This won't run out of bullets."

The snickering was quite irritating, stuv finally tunred to yell at the dog, but then he saw the map and the dog dash, "HEY!!" He said running after him, 'why did it have to be a gray hound, why couldn't it be something like a turtle, something slow!' He thought to him self, komodo's weren't slow, but they have nothing on gray hounds. He was falling behind, he almost lost sight of him, he hoped the dog would stop soon, he slowed a little, to quite his footing. He saw the dog, looking down at the map, he hid behind an adjacent wall from where the ran from. The dog then looked up at the two story shop, and tunred to look if anyone was around, stuv quickly ducked, hoping the dog didn't notice him, he peaked back up, and saw the dog creep inside.

Karl vacated from the chopper and made haste to what he thought was east. He saw something that looked like crates over in that direction.

"weapons perhaps? ammuniation? medical supplies?" he thought as he hid from some other contestants who might want to 'persuade' the good doctor to help them.

The store that the gray hound had run into was an antique store. Inside the dog let out an evil satisfied laugh as he looked at the stuff. It was various odds and ends, no one seemed to have found it. It was a fairly large store, in the back end of it were some ascending stairs to what seemed to be a small house. Two rooms, one bathroom, kitchen and a bathroom. Downstairs were several racks of mostly junk, though behind the counter was a case with a few guns. The hound made his way back there and found the case only to be locked. He found out the hard way that the glass was reinforced. He would need a key to get in. He double checked to make sure no one had followed him before spotting the staircase. He set his map down without thinking and went over to the stairs and went up to begin looking for a key. If Stuv decided to walk in he could find the map easily and just leave, or go upstairs and find the key before the hound. The hound did not seem like he was in the mood to share anything.

Meanwhile in the facility...

A door opened before Rigor after she had picked up a scythe. "Go on through. We will begin your test." said the voice. Through the doors were various obstacles, it was a course. Lots of hurdles, climbing walls, gaps to jump and various other things. As she stepped through the door it closed behind her once again leaving no trace of a door. "Proceed to the end of course. We shall monitor you and gauge your motor skills. You can begin whenever you are ready."

Nier made it out of the building, upon stepping off the curb a car whizzed passed him nearly running him over. He looked at it going down the mostly empty road, it had to be doing at least a 100 mph. "IDIOTS! WATCH WHERE YOUR (Censored) GOING!!!" he shouted raising an angry fist. It was a futile effort but he couldn't really do much else. "Idiots...Hmm...Now to get my hands on something sharp." he chuckled and walked off down the road. He eventually found a restaurant and wandered in. There were a few people inside scavenging for food, but he payed them no mind and walked into the kitchen in the back. He headed for a knife rack, luckily only two were missing out of the several there. It seems the survivors didn't want them and felt a different weapon would suffice. He collected 11 knives, stowing them in various places. Immediately after someone came in behind him. It was the person who took the two knives, clearly because it was in his hands. "What're ya doing in my kitchen, boy?!" said the pig. He was fairly large, pretty fat actually. He was also wearing a chef's hat. "...Your kitchen? I didn't see your name on it ya (Censored) (Censored)." "Who you calling fat?!" Nier turned nonchalantly looking around and over his shoulders as if he were looking for someone. "Uh...Ain't no one else here that's as fat as you, (Censored)." The pig laughed heartily. "Looks like we're having RAT today!" Nier smirked and merely drew two knives himself getting ready to fight.

Stuv slowly got up, 'what to do, what to do, I'm sure I could take a gray hound close quarters if need, be' he thought, as he got up and went into the store. He saw the map, and the gray hound go up, 'I can take the map and go.... or I could take the map and what is here' he thought, tucking the map in his back pocket, and creeping up the stairs. 'I must stay silent, until I have the key' thinking to him self, looking around the corner of the stirs making sure it was clear. He saw something silver looking shining off the last stair, it looked like it might of been wedged in, stuv grabbed, took a deep breath, and pulled it hard. There was a small crack, followed by a loud crumbling sound, as the step tore away form the house, sending stuv back with a loud thud. "Crap" he thought trying to rush to his feet.

Rigor still looked unamused, glancing upward, trying to locate the source of the voice. She looked around the room and at the course carefully, then back at her scythe. It had a metal handle with and oversized metal crescent-like blade. She reared back and threw it across the room, her ear twitching as it clattered on the white tile on the opposite side. She was confident in her abilities to go through the course to their satisfaction as much as she had scaled and ran along the buildings when she was out. She dropped on all fours and launched herself outward at the obstacles, looking partially like a creature, partially like a free runner as she conquered each obstacle that they had placed in her way. If she couldn't pass it in a straight on way, she would use an unconventional method to get past it, but either way, she didn't let anything stand in her way. When she landed to rejoin her scythe, she stood up straight after bending down to pick up her weapon and grinned.

The gray hound heard the commotion on the stairs and went to investigate. He appeared at the top of the stairs and looked down them to see Stuv on the floor, with the key he had been looking for. He was also holding something, a bat. "My key!" he shouted making his way down the stairs. He did not seem amused, and ready to clobber Stuv for his precious key. Stuv would need to decide to cut his losses and run or take care of the hound and be able to control the building for himself.

Meanwhile at the facility...

"Very good." said the voice as Rigor had completed the course. Another door opened up, leading to another blank room. Stepping inside the door vanished as usual leaving no trace of anything but white. "Alright, now we are going to test your combat abilities. We have arranged some targets for you to use. We have several so feel free to experiment." As the voice ceased a door opened up ahead of Rigor. A zombie stumbled out and the door closed behind it. It stood there for a second before sprinting towards Rigor, hungry for her. Though it didn't go much faster for a sprint. Once defeated the same door would open releasing three more zombies. The number of doors opened and zombies pouring in would gradually increase as Rigor killed them. They would keep coming until about ten or so were in the room at a time.

The pig ran towards Nier with an intention to stab him, the narrow space and the size of the pig gave Nier almost no opening to dodge. He only did so by sliding under the sow barely escaping the charge. He took this chance to get an attack off on the pig, who was having trouble maneuvering. He literally climbed the pig's back with the knives as if he were scaling a wall. When Nier got to his shoulder the pig grabbed him holding him over the top of his head. Not thinking too much on it, there was an open garbage chute in front of him, in which he threw Neir at as if he were a lawn dart. Nier swore up and down as he flew into the chute and tumbled all the way through it to the bottom. Though there was no can at the bottom so he hit the cold concrete with a thud. Instead of moving he just laid there in a daze. He was in some underground parking lot, it was very dark and void of life. But he still wasn't alone...

Reficul saw the island as he approached in a helicopter. As he landed with many other contestants he jumped out and punched the guy next to him, a fox. and ran into the city looking for a knife or something to help defend the zombies that were to come later. He ran down off the heli pad and into a bus depot about a block away. He found a corpse in there gripping a small knife it wasnt as big as he hope but it would have to do. He walked over to a group of ruble and lifted up a few good sized rocks and put them in his backpack. 'Well this ought to be a good place to hold my own." He went over into the ticket office and closed the door and locked it ready to defend himself from what was to come.

"F--- me!" Stuv said trying to get to his feat as the dog ran at him swinging a bat, the dog swung as stuv ducked, grabbing a piece of the broken stairs with him, running to a more open area and looking back at the dog. The dog lunged at him, giving him a nice thrust kick to the chest knocking him into the wall and the air out of him. Stuv took a deep breath as he clenched the board, hoping to use it like a shield, as the dog swung the bat hitting the board, and breaking the piece of it off , sending the bat flying into stuvs face, the blow was reduced, but it still cut his lip. stuv yelled a little in pain, but took the broken piece and stabbed the dog in his left shoulder before he could swing again. The dog drooped the bat as he screamed in pain holding his left shoulder, stuv took this moment to tackled the dog, the dog was quick, but not as strong as him. Stuv took his left hand and held the dogs face down, exposing his neck, stuv then bit with all his might trying to rip open some where near the aorta. The dog started to gawn at stuv's hand, causing it to bleed, but stuv kept using his sharp teeth to tear away at the dogs flesh. Stuv noticed the dog stooped gaining, and he looked at him, he was breathing quickly, trying to get the oxygen to his brain, due to the losses of blood, and the open aorta area. Stuv stood up, looking at the dog, he took one mighty jump, putting all his force into it, severing his spinal cord from that body. Stuv grabbed the bat, in his good hand, and went over to the gun cabinet. He opened it, looking at his winnings. There was a hunting rifle with a night scope attached, a flare gun, a small pack aka a fanny pack, and about 6 clips holding about 6 shots each. The gun looked like it got about 200 ft of accuracy, and looks like it could be stopped by a small. Vest. Nothing special, but it should be able to invade the skull of anyone, the flare gun is an odd thing to have but stuv was sure he could find something to use it for.

Rigor sighed out to exaggerate her irritation with these tests. It was amazing how little confidence they must have in her to have to put her through a test run. She entered the room, received instructions, and waited. A door opposite of her opened, and her foe stepped out... Well, stumbled out. She couldn't help but chuckle at how it dumbly lurched forward at her, but her chuckles ceased when it began to sprint. She took a quick side step and parried, making the thing lose its footing and land headlong into the floor. She cringed as the creature's face squeaked on the floor, leaving a line of grimy, bloody looking liquid trail in its wake. It wasn't the liquid that bothered her so much as the eerie white tiles suddenly losing their sterile appearance. She leaped upward, drawing her knees as close as they would allow to her torso, almost looking as if she was about to cannon ball and then released downward landing on the thing's head... A loud squelching sound echoing in the room as its skull was obliterated beneath her clawed feet. She twisted her foot as if to squish a cockroach and smiled toothily up to where she thought her observers may have been. She took a bow, then turned quickly when the door opened again, releasing three more zombies.

Again, they charged, and she countered by swinging the bladed end of her scythe at their legs. The slice caused them again to fall to the ground, one crawling at her until she embedded her blade in its skull. The other two struggled to get up until she used the blunt edge opposite of the blade to bash their heads in. Quickly, she took another bow and threw a kiss, taking her stance as she heard the door slot flying open. She kept on, wave after wave of dismembering the corpses and acting as if it was a show until she was eventually covered in gore, panting with her scythe in hand. She looked up quizzically, wondering what else they had to offer her.

The sun was starting to set now, night was creeping over the city. Contestants were beginning to barricade themselves in whatever buildings they could find. Though not all of them, some were more adventurous, and planned on staying out for the night. Primarily because they wanted action. Before long though, night would be upon them and they would get the action they so desired.

Meanwhile in the facility...

As Rigor was slaughtering the zombies that were sent at her making it look like a show the zombies stopped. As they were all finished an eerie silence fell over the room. Not even the the voice talking. Then a door opened up. At first, nothing came out, but a few seconds later one last zombie stumbled out. But upon looking harder, you would have seen something move towards the left of the zombie. It would have been hard to detect, considering the one zombie coming out as a sort of distraction. There was something there though, other than the zombie. Farther left of the zombie a distant clicking could be heard briefly, like a clawed animal walking. But nothing was there if you looked. Soon enough the same noise could be heard behind Rigor, and whenever she looked she saw nothing, maybe another brief movement. The noise and movement stopped soon enough, what ever it was silently watching Rigor's movements.

Nier woke up in the dark parking lot, he looked around and was barely able to see much. He saw what was left of the light of day in the distance through his exit. He swore from the fall and how much his head hurt as he wandered towards the light. He heard something run into something metallic off to his right which got his attention. "Huh-.." It was a zombie, it was walking between two parked cars towards him. "(Censored)!" he said, which echoed through the parking lot. He quickly turned around expecting something and only found he was right. More zombies creeping towards him. After some more swears he bolted for the light of day. "Damnit! Almost night, I don't even have a place to stay." He stopped in the middle of the street to look around, he looked back into the parking lot to see the dark figures moving about. He grumbled as he ran off into some direction, he rounded a corner and ran some more though he slowed down. He ran out of breath and decided to just duck into a building to his left. After inspecting the interior he established it was safe, it was a small surplus store. Various goods were around but he didn't care at the moment. He needed to barricade the door, in which he used a sofa that was near the entrance. After that he was more exhausted from the sofa and just wandered into a back room. On his way he grabbed various clothing items along the way and once in the back room found a clear spot to lie down in, using the clothes as a makeshift pillow.

Reficul had no sense of time. He kept looking for a clock but couldn't find one. He decided to just keep his guard up. He had moved a filing cabinent in from of the door. He heard a loud bang off to his right and looked out the reinforced window to see the same fox he had punched on his way out of the helicopter. Reficul let out a loud laugh. He motioned for him to come to the door. He lifted up the cabinent and opened the door slightly. "Whatya want foxy?" Reficul held the blade behind him so the fox couldn't see that he had it. Reficul noticed a zombie limping his way down the stairs behind the Fox. "Hey behind you!"

Rigor's eyes darted around the room, locating the source of the sound, but soon not liking it when whatever it was fell silent. A low growl escaped from her throat, replaced by a grin after a few tense moments. "Two can play this little game," she teased, taking a stance, only for her to ripple away into the gore spattered white. She had no clue what she was up against or what it was capable of, but if she couldn't see it, she was at least going to try her damnedest to make sure it didn't see her that way no one had a particular advantage that she knew of. All at once, she dropped her scythe, using the noise of its clattering mask the noise of her movement as she darted across the room to the goriest spot in the room. She was covered in the mess, so she couldn't do much hiding in the white spots, and she hoped that this creature would at least be dumb enough to run through the stains in order to give her a way to track its movements.

Sam peered in through the window of the small house near the edge of the city. Like any house his father had broken into, casing it was always the first step...followed by murdering whoever was inside. He crept around the back of the single story home and peered in through the window. A lit candle was sitting on a bedside table. Sam narrowed his eyes, scanning for anyone responsible for lighting it. He caught a glimpse of movement further down the hallway to the house. He grinned. It was a lone squirrel...but it was not like any squirrel Sam had ever seen. This one was built like a tank and any attempt to fight it hand to hand would be suicide. He would have to be stealthy but quick. He pulled the knife from his sleeve and jammed it into the door lock before quietly prying it open. There was a light click before the door lightly swung open. No squeak. That was good. Sam krept his way into the house and pressed up against the wall. The squirrel was in the kitchen, eating something that smelled a lot like nuts while cleaning something that looked like a revolver.

A gust of wind blew in through the door, swinging it open and blowing the candle out across the room from Sam. The squirrel quickly stood up, cautiously analyzing the source of the sound from the kitchen while staring into the dark bedroom where Sam hid. The fox didn't even breathe. The squirrel picked up the gun and walked forward slowly. Sam waited against the wall, his grip tightening around the knife's handle. He saw the barrel of the gun pass by him in the doorway. Not yet... Sam thought to himself. As soon as the the squirrel was in the door, Sam grabbed the barrel of the revolver to control its direction and plunged the knife deep into the squirrel's throat. The squirrel shrieked in surprise and pain while clenching around the wound that sprayed blood all over Sam. The squirrel collapsed to the ground still holding on to the wound and gasping for air. Sam looked down at his victim where they met eyes. Sam bent down and put his finger to his lips. The knife was then plunged into the squirrel's heart as Sam watched the final moments of his victim's life slip away. "Sorry buddy...I need this more than you do." He said with a smile.

Stuv thought it be best to leave the place, with the smell of blood every where, he didn't want that to attract the zombies. After leavein he decided to look at the map, there appeared to be a small mom and pops kind of cvs store not to far from him, he hopped that they would have a first aid kit so he could bandage up his wounds.

Karl and some other contestant were making a beeline for the countryside shack they both stumbled upon. Neck and Neck their sprint was, and both tried to wedge themselves in the door, which ended up in them rolling on the ground trying to strangle each other.

Until Karl came up with a brilliant idea.
"Hows about we share this and act like we never met afterwards?" The wolf paused in his strangling and gave it some thought, and thought it a good idea when he extended his hand to Karl's form.

"rrrnnnh, Just get some sleep and hold off the zombies and we've never met, Kapesh!?"

Karl nodded his head as he motioned and said "Ladies first"

Night fell finally, what was expected by some to be a quiet night wasn't so quiet. The zombies began to come out and make an appearance. They filled the streets of the city in overwhelming numbers. Various gunshots and screaming filled the night along with the chilling moans of the hungry dead. Some people didn't have great barricading skills and lost their fortifications to the force of the large number of zombies. They were trapped in their buildings and killed. Several of the ones that stayed out for a fight died along with them, seeing the zombies in such numbers terrified most of them. As Sam did his doings in the house he didn't notice that a few zombies had been following him. And since he left the door open they walked right in to greet him. But they would have been easily heard considering their loud moaning.

Meanwhile in the facility...

The Stalker lost interest in Rigor when she had disappeared and switched it's sights on the lone zombie stumbling around like an idiot. It shot it's tongue out and it wrapped around the zombie. It then pulled it towards itself and went to town on it with it's 9-inch razor sharp claws. It didn't eat the zombie, that is after it found out it was dead. Instead it just ravaged it and left it on the ground. It only showed itself as it ravaged the flesh of the zombie. It was a skinny creature, a chameleon. It looked like someone who hadn't eaten in a very long time. It's scales were a light gray, with soulless white eyes. The Stalker scanned for Rigor after bolting away from it's previous prey. It too was a bit covered in blood. After a moment of searching it found her and jumped onto the ceiling. It attached itself and crawled towards her quickly. It shot out it's tongue in hopes to bind her.

Nier continued to sleep...The zombies didn't seem to notice he was in the building and just wandered about outside.

Rigor bolted when the creature began to move toward her, leaping when she noticed its mouth slightly hanging open, but unable to escape the reach of its tongue. It had managed to snag her by her tail, but luckily for her, she had landed right beside her scythe. She grabbed it, looking back when it started to pull her backward. In a rushed frenzy, she swiped her blade at the thing's tongue, grinning when she heard it cry out in pain. She scampered to the far end of the room with her blade and unwrapped the part of the thing's tongue that had wrapped around her tail. She kept a wary eye on it, ready to defend, but couldn't resist taunting it, hoping it had a temper. She shook the tongue in her hand, "What's the matter? Rigor got your tongue?"

There was an odd sound coming from behind Sam. As soon as he pulled the knife out of the squirrel he whipped around to see that about 3 zombies were already on his tail...literally. He groaned as his tail was mercilessly stepped on. Drawing the revolver he fired one shot into the head of the zombie that was nearest to him. Brains sprayed the ceiling above his head while the other 2 made their slow and clumsy approach. Sam aimed and fired again, blowing the head clean off the second zombie. He aimed the gun again and pulled the trigger but gun only clicked. "DAMNIT!" He yelled before whipping the pistol at the zombie's head with such force that it broke the zombie's neck. It didn't surprise Sam that it didn't kill the zombie. Instead he reached for the largest blunt object that was nearest him...which happened to be an umbrella. He took hold of the fashionable accessory before plunging the pointy end deep into the zombie's skull through one of it's eyes. It fell to the floor and Sam took a moment to catch his breath. "God damn..." He said, looking at the bodies. He walked over to the door and closed it, locking the dead bolt in place and sliding the large bed in front of it. He then slid the large cabinet in front of the window. He went into the kitchen and had trouble sliding the old lead fridge in front of that door but he managed after some time of pushing and heaving. The house was locked down. Sam collected what he could from the kitchen food wise and collected his knife and the empty revolver. He broke the wooden coffee table into pieces and took on of the legs to be fashioned into a club. He walked over to the closet in the bedroom and looked up. There was a small hatch leading into the attic. He knew it would be impossible for any zombie to reach up there assuming they got past his barricades to begin with. He jumped up and caught the edge, pulling himself up inside before closing the little door shut. He lit the candle he'd brought up and looked around. The attic was empty, meant strictly for frames and fiberglass insulation. It was the perfect place to spend the night.

The screams off people being mauled and flesh being torn could be heard all around stuv. 'What did I do to deserve the horde' he thought to him self. Luckily the mom and pop store was located more to the country side, so at least he was slowly creeping away from the pack. He looked down at the map, and the back at the store, it read 'Carls quick' defiantly a mom and pop store. He went in, there was broken glass on the floor, and he got an ill feeling creep up on him. He quickly found the last remaining first aid kit, after pouring disinfectant on the wound, and biteing down to stop from screaming, he began to wrap it in badages, he even found a lil bandaid for his lip. He put it on, more for a laugh then any real protection. As he stood up, he heard something steeping on the glass, he quickly got up, pulling his rifle and scanning the room. He made a quick 180 seeing a female tiger holding a machete looking at him, "you should leave before you get killed", she tensted up, she did a quick barrel roll, dashing behind the counter, stuv shoot, missing "dam" he said quickly cocking the gun. The women looked around the corner, and then lunged at stuv, he was responded with a quick swiped of his powerful tail throwing the tiger back on her back, a gun shot followed. The women was squeezing her eyes shut, until she. Felt something fall on her, when she opened she saw a zombie, she quickly threw it off, and the looked at stuv. He looked back at her, and slowly lowered his gun, and then turned away, going back to get his fanny pack. She sheathed her blade, and then looked at him, "thank you.." she said, sitting next to him.

The Stalker shrieked when it's tongue was cut off, and it did get angry. It went invisible again, but there was blood uncontrollably oozing from it's mouth so it was a little easier to detect. It dropped from the ceiling and again charged at Rigor, it's claws clattering on the ground as it made it's way towards her. Once close enough it darted to her right and pounced at her with the intent to slice her up with it's claws.

Still Nier slept...It's night time still.

Rigor tried to dodge the creature's pounce, but she was against the wall, making her movement unsuccessful. The thing sent her to the ground, but as it reared back to slice her up, she jabbed it in throat with the end of her scythe to get if off of her. It jerked backward in response to Rigor's love tap, and in response, she used its momentum to get her own advantageous position on top of it. Growling, she jammed her forearm into its throat, trying to choke it to death.

The stalker howled as it was hit and then choked to the ground. It quickly swiped at Rigor's arm to free itself from her grip. It cut her and kept doing it in hopes she would let go. However the swipes were slowing rapidly from the stalker losing oxygen.

With every swipe, her face cringed, but her forearm pushed harder and harder into the thing's throat. The cuts on her arms were hardly a price in her eyes so long as the creature died. She didn't let up until it stopped struggling, and once it stopped, she grabbed her scythe and pierced its throat with the spike at the top of her scythe to make sure it wouldn't relent. She then looked up again, slightly amused.

When the stalker was kill the voice came back. "Well done. You have performed well, now if you will..." Suddenly a door near Rigor opened up. "Proceed inside. The guard that was sprayed with blood groan as he examined himself. "Fine, if you want a shower we'll give you one. Right this way." The bloodied guard was replaced with another one as they escorted Rigor to the showers. Once there they went in with her, it was a large shower room, like any other shower room in an underground facility. Nothing out of the ordinary. "Go. Take a shower." One of the three guards walked out of the room, the other two were going to follow when one turned and denied the other from leaving. "You stay and watch her." "What? Me? Why me?" "I out rank you. And someone needs to make sure it doesn't escape. Now be a good subordinate and watch the damn thing." After saying that the guard left, leaving the last one alone.

Rigor stepped into the stall, trying to tune out the guard, but without much success. She went to turn on the water, but turned irritated. "Haven't they ever taught you manners?" With a ripple of her scales, she was invisible, and the gore seemed to be pouring off of a phantom figure of her and into the drain as the steam rose in the stall. She relaxed, the warm water rolling off of her muzzle and down her body as she closed her eyes. The water felt good on her muscles after her session. She rubbed her arms where the cuts were from the thing. They were bleeding some, but most of the water had made it stop. She stepped far enough out of the shower to lick them, and upon contact with her saliva, the wounds began to seal up. She stepped back into the water, her scales rippling to reveal her still there in the shower. She was taking her sweet time.

The guard had followed Rigor, looking in on the stall she had went in. That is until she went invisible. One of the reasons the guards didn't enjoy escorting her, she always went invisible. But this particular guard was fairly relieved she did. He didn't feel right intruding on a ladies privacy. But he had to follow orders. He waited idly by as she bathed, looking off in various directions purposely avoiding looking at her, even though she was invisible.

The night eventually came to an end with the sun steadily rising into the sky lighting up the city. The survivors of the night that had managed to get sleep were waking up now. The zombies however were still as loud as ever as they still flooded the streets. Though some survivors managed to not be pinned down by hordes of them and they wandered the streets, able to just avoid the slow moving zombies.

Nier woke up with a yawn and rubbed his eye and looked around. Getting up he decided to explore his little building. It looked like a small pawnshop, with various odd and ends. However the only thing that peaked his interest was the small chip rack on the counter. He made his way over to it and examined the selection before snatching up some Doritos. He opened them and ate them, continuing to search around.

In the facility a scientist walked up to Rigor's cell door and peered inside. Inside she was shackled up as she normally was kept. He motioned for the guard to open the door and walked in. "Rigor, wake up. We are ready to release you onto the island now. We want to see how you can do in the field." The guard that entered as well began to unshackle her, releasing her to follow the scientist.

"It's about damned time." She growled, seemingly also happy to be getting out. She rubbed her wrists and ankles from where the shackles had been and shoved the guard out of her way, making a straight line to the scientist. "So what gives with that knock off of me? We all know there can only be one me." She had a smug grin on her face as she asked, but then her face changed to something melodramatically sad. "Aw, is it that you guys love and miss me, and there's just... Not enough of me to go around? So much so that you have to make a cheap knock off for when I get out?" She was aiming to irritate before she left this place.

As the sun's light pierced the small mom n' pop store, stuv yawned loudly and stretched. He rubbed his eyes looking around for the tiger that he had slept near last night, but there was no sign of her. He felt a cold pad touch him and on instinc he threw back a furious hind kick, but what ever had touched him smoothly moved out of the way grabbed his leg and dropped him to the floor.
"Is that how you always greet every one?" He recognized the tigers voice, and lazily adjusted him self so that he could see her.
"I don't know so you always sneak up on every one in the morning" the tiger eyed him and shrugged. She threw down a bowl full of some instant food that she had found and sat next to him eating her portion. "Thanks" he manged to say, in between bites, he hadn't ate since yesterday morning, and who knows when he will eat again.

Nier continued to eat his chips as he wandered over to a window. He pulled down the blinds a tad to look outside. There were a few zombies outside but nothing that would prevent him from leaving. He walked away from the window examining what was in the store. After a bit of searching he found an empty duffel bag and grabbed it. Going back to the window he peered out it in search of a direction to go.

At the facility the scientist led Rigor through the halls, escorted by guards as usual. After listening to Rigor the scientist responded. "Not quite. That is merely another experiment. You are far too...Unique to be replaced so easily. But that is only one of several other experiments we have been working on. that one we call a Stalker. It is a chameleon such as yourself for the most part. It has a high level of cunning and is quite intelligent. Though more in the means of hunting than other things...It has a killer instinct. Anyway...We are almost there." Leading her through a door they entered a room, with an awaiting helicopter. "Okay, that is your transport. You will be taken to the city from here. We will be monitoring your performance, don't let us down." Upon entering the chopper it would be slowly moved down a large hangar corridor. The pad under it was moved from underneath. Large doors opened at the end and the pad was moved into the open. There the helicopter flew off and into the city.

The tiger took a whiff of the air, "ah, there is water that way... smells like the ocean possibly, to far to tell exactly" Stuv nodded as he put his rifle on his back and gestured for her to lead the way. "Such a gentlemen" she laughed mocking him, he didn't care, not his head on the line at least.

It was daybreak, FINALLY!
Karl and the wolf exited and parted ways without a word, but Karl gave the surprised wolf a hug goodbye, and tried to make off with the Wolf's switch blade. needless to say there was a lot of running away and cursing involved in the past hour.
"Thief! I'll skin ya alive" the wolf yelled, being surprisingly persistent in his quest to maim Karl.
"I would love to see you try good sir!" he responded before flipping the knife out and hurling it at the wolf. The wolf took a hard duck as the knife embedded itself into the wood of a nearby tree. The guy ripped it from the tree and continued to pursue, and Karl stumbled upon a tiger woman and a lizard guy.

"Don't look now but i'm being hunted by a psychopath!" He shouted as he swerved inbetween them.

She followed behind the scientist, not really caring about what he was saying. She didn't understand why they would put her in the city via helicopter since she could find her way as it was, but she followed anyway to humor them. When they made it to the helipad, she climbed inside, somewhat uneasy. As much as she liked being on top of buildings, she didn't like being on air crafts. As the helicopter started off, she gave a wave, and a, "Smell ya later," trying to be somewhat funny by using something so lame.

Nier pulled the couch blocking his way a small bit, enough to open the door and left the building. Outside he stood there and took a deep breath and looked at the zombies stumbling about. He then ran off to the left down the road and around a corner. There were only a couple zombies on this street so he stopped running and just walked. That's when a helicopter buzzed passed him from behind. It hovered over the intersection ahead of him, which is when Rigor hopped out of it. After which the helicopter left. "Small world..." said Nier, continuing his walk in her direction. He didn't know what he was going to do if he got to her, but it's not like it was going to hinder him any.

On the helicopter as it was flying into the city there was a man. He handed two picture of people to her. "These are your targets. They are somewhere in the city. Today at noon there will be a supply drop via helicopter arriving at Herald field near 5th and Edmond. There are weapons of your preference inside." After a bit they came in low enough for Rigor to jump out. It was only a couple feet off the ground.

Siya grabbed the man who got in between them and threw him in front of her and Stuv. As the other man approached Stuv raised his rifle at the mans head, he was more then within killing rang. "Look we have our problems you have yours, why should we help any of you" Siya said, her hand on the hilt of her blade. Stuv still locked to the other man.

Karl stood up and wrapped an arm around the woman and made it look like he was a car salesman trying to sell his product.
"Would being za only certified Surgeon and doctor within 100 miles that isnt owned by a corporate paycheck count as a reason? Or perhaps your a junkie in need of a fix, I can help you find plants you need to get a high? Or on the off chance you two are a couple and you would like to.... how should I say, appear more endowed to your man?"

Karl asked innocently with a thick German accent, for whatever reason his associates respect a doctor who's German. Maybe these two idiots were like his idiot associates.
The wolf just began to shake his head at Karl's ridiculousness.

"Look. The 'Good Doctor' tried to steal my switchblade, so I tried to cut him open! For crying out loud he ISNT EVEN GERMAN!" he growled

"Nein fraulein you tried to sthick za good Doctor earlier in za night. I vas just getting compensation."

She jumped down, happy to be off of aircraft. She had managed to grab something that was like a leather x strap with an o ring holding it together. She slid the pictures under her straps, and since the straps fit very snugly, they couldn't just be ripped out from under her. The o ring sat in the middle of her chest. She sat there on all fours, crouched, her knuckles holding her up on hands. She looked very gargoyle-ish or lizardish the way she was crouched. She whipped her head around surveying the area, noticing Neir, but not really taking it upon herself to meet him halfway. She just sat there, papers and trash whipping around her until the copter was out of her sight.

Nier continued walking along the sidewalk in Rigor's direction, casually doing so. The thought of attacking her crossed his mind. "I could end that insufferable reptile...She is weaponless. I have the advantage..." As he began to pass the corner of a building he noticed a zombie creep up on him from around it. He stepped back from it trying to grab him and retaliated by throwing a knife into it's skull. It dropped dead in front of him and he retrieved his knife, cleaning it on the zombie's shirt. Looking up he saw several more shambling in his direction. "Look, Rigor! Friends of yours!" he said sarcastically looking over their numbers. There was several of them as they made their way towards Nier and Rigor.

Rigor looked over her shoulders to see the zombies, then back at Neir. "I don't think they're my friends." She said melodramatically placing a hand on her chest and looking shocked. "I was just invited to the party around here." With that she  grinned and bolted, running on all fours and leaping over Neir's head, and landing on the building, specifically on a drain pipe. She began to climb up the building using various ledges to aid herself as she went until she made it to the top. She looked down over Neir, and made a motion as  if to tip her hat. "Good luck with the guests." She then proceeded to run again, and looked like a free runner as she leaped from roof to roof until she settled on one that seemed to be somewhat empty. She looked around, making sure she was alone, then pulled out one of the photos from her straps to look at.

"I find it odd, when you were running, you had no accent, yet... now you do" stuv said, removing the mans hand from the tiger. "Another thing I am Russian, we need no help from anyone, let alone your kind" Stuv pulled the tiger to the oppsite side of the doctor. "And lastly this isn't our problem"
"We can't juts have someone who might be a doctor die"
  "But we could?"
"We won't" She said taking his hand and pulling him over a little "now you beat it" she said looking at the other man, her hand on her hilt of the blade.

Karl shot a look at Stuv, a look that said some expletives and a couple of snide phrases.

"Danke fraulein! My name ist Karlyle, combat surgeon and apparent rescued by two great benefactors. It is good to know your Russian friend still thinks the treatment to every wound is a dose of vodka. If only it were so simple my friend! But here he is collaborating with a tiger so your not really Russian then. A real Russian would have no one else but more Russians." he chimed happily.
The other wolf backed off, slowly of course, but he backed off.

"As much as I appreciate the rescue my benefactors, but I would feel much better with some kind of weapon in hand. A zombie island full of fugitives and psychopaths demands the necessity no?"

As Stuv, Karl, the wolf and the tiger were dealing with their situation amongst themselves a group of zombies were silently approaching. As the wolf backed off they made their presence obvious as they groaned and shambled towards them. There was several of them, at least 20 if not more. They came from all but one direction forcing them all to go one way. If they chose to run.

Nier grew a bit agitated when Rigor made her exit. "Hey! Get back here! You(String of naughty words)!" As he screamed the zombies grew closer, so Nier backed up and took off knowing it would be stupid to stay and fight them. "I'm gonna kill her the next time I see her." He ran down the road, passing a few survivors in a small group. Feeling devious he ran at then and stopped in front of them. "Help! Help! There's this guy around that corner who touched me in a bad place!" he cried out, in an innocent and childish voice. The group felt heroic and charged around the corner to only meet the incoming horde. Two of them were caught as the remaining two fled. Nier continued to run, snickering as he did so until he ducked inside of a building and proceeded to laugh hysterically. "Ahahaha! If only-...Ahaha...If only I could have seen the faces on those gullible idiots! Aha! Ah...That was good...That was good..." The building he was in was empty was empty, it seemed like an office building. He decided to wander the halls to pass some time.

"Why you!" Stuv whipped his rifle around aiming at the good doctor, but Siya pulled the barrel down.
"We have more important things to worry about!" she said pointing to the oncoming horde, 'damn there are to many she thought to her self', she did a quick surveillance check, "come on this way!" she yelled, as she ran from the on coming horde. Stuv not following far behind.

She noticed firstly, that the target was a human. She thought it odd since so far most of the things around had been animalistic like herself, but she didn't question it and looked to the back for a little bit of information. While she understood that they wanted her to be able to keep the information with her, she let out an irritated sigh at how much the information looked like a flash card, as if she was supposed to memorize the information on the back just in case she needed to recite it from memory while someone flashed her target's picture to her. Apparently this guy was a doctor and used medical tools on the battlefield. His name was Karlyle. Looking the card over again, she somewhat wished she knew why she was supposed to kill this guy, but it was her job and she was going to have fun playing, so she didn't bother to question it. She peered over the ledge of the building she was at wondering where she should go first, since the whole city was open for her to exploit. A grin crept across her face as she realized how immense her freedom was.

"And vy are we running from all of zhese pretties!? Oh egads the stench! IT'S HORRENDOUS! OH FRAULEIN! I still need medical tools, and I think i saw a supply drop east of here, if we're in luck I can find tools of the trade!" He said, quickly following the pair after wondering how the biology of a zombie looked like.
"I vunder if it's a plague like most scientists assume or some sort of chemical injection. he speculated before he stopped in front of a barbers shop and just eyed the razor for around two seconds before he bolted in, grabbed it, and ran back out, weaving around a zombie trying to grab him.

"A bit larger and more primitive then vhat I usually vurk vith, but she shall do"

Nier wandered through the empty office building finding little of interest, that is until he found a vending machine. It lit up the dark hallway with a dim light. He sauntered over to it hungrily and looked through the glass at all the goodies beyond it. "Score! Now just to-" Suddenly a noise echoed down the hallway, drawing Nier's attention. He looked and saw what seemed to be an endless black tunnel. He squinted to try and see what made the noise, as he did so he saw something move in the darkness. It made him draw two knives, as he did so he heard something making it's way towards him. The sound of it coming made him almost turn and run but he held his ground. It stopped suddenly at the edge of the light given off by the vending machine, it's form moving around in the darkness. It made a low growl from the shadows. "Why did it stop...?" The vending machine light flickered, stopping for a second. In that second he heard the creature move again. But the light came back on, the creature's arm was caught in it. Nier caught a glimpse of it before the creature pulled it back out of the light. "I get it...It doesn't like the light." Again the vending machine flickered. "I better get going...Fast..." Nier turned and ran as fast as he could towards the door he came from. Towards the light at the end of the hallway. He didn't bother to look back and didn't stop running until he got into the sunlight and skid to a stop. That's when he turned around to look back inside the building. There he saw the muzzle of a creature at the edge of the light shining through the glass windows of the office building. "Dark buildings equal no. Gotcha."

She took a flying leap of the edge of the building and landed on a cloth shelter of a restaurant, breaking through it and landing on a few zombies before taking off on all fours. Her fist thought was that she wanted to have fun before killing her target, so she bolted to a broken down toy store, running on her hind legs and occasionally bouncing off something on all fours.
