Not technically a sport but an outdoor activity.
I've gone camping for the first time last weekend, it was in Orlando by a spring.
I loved it.
Any of you guys done it?
Been in that area?
Please, share your experiences.

I have been camping many times actually. Never camped way out east but there are several unofficial camp sites I have been to in the rocky mountains. Last time I was camping, I was at cherry creek. the first state created camp site I have been to.
I find it much colder at the official ones. Also, I think the wild camping is a little more exciting cause there's the thrill of danger from like...some kind of wild animal nomming all your food...or you. Then there's other thrilling things that are not the thrill of danger. The night sky looks so much better too.

I go camping fairly often, though I did more when I was younger. Camped at several places in Ohio, and two places in Florida.

Camping is realtively cheap actually, and the area I went was really nice.
The place I went was $15 a night. Compared to hotels thats freakin' cheap.

Like I said city folk, they would need to rent a cabin, that's as close as ill get anytime soon, well was, and it would of been nice :/

here in Denver we camp all the time because my dad's a nature buff and I used to be forced to in Boy Scouts (before I quit). Rather pleasant except when a freak snow storm comes along...and trust me it can even happen in the middle of the summer here

I actually went survival camping a week ago. I enjoy hiking and camping so I went on a 5 mile hike into a state park and camped ( after I got permission of course ) I had a tent, a knife and a flint and steel, as well as some granola bars. I am freaking Bear Grylls.
