I'm not sure how you speel it, but yea pep rallies. I hate them I'm forced into a small area, to sit near people I don't know and hate, for X amount of hours, and on top of that today's was outside, and note I'm in Florida, THE SUNSHINE SATE. Well I know you can't me with that, the problem is that I get so angry when I'm there, and when I get angry, I get violent. Today some stupid under classmen put a pompom or what ever its called, in my face, I grabbed him by the scruff if his colloar, and the only reason I dint punch him in the face, was because we where on the bleachers, and when I went to his level, I grabbed what sanity I had left and didn't punch him.

Is attendance mandatory? It wasn't for either of the high schools I went to.
-
Yes unfortuanitly, I useually tried to get picked up, but Its not the easiet to always get a ride :/
-
I always saw it as a way to get out of class for an hour or so :P. maybe you could talk to the teachers and see if you cant sit in the library or something?

PFFT. I wish my school made pep rallies free like they use to.
Pep rallies aren't fun unless you either:
a) Have alot of school pride
or
b) Are a senior.
Anyway, well why don't you just pretend your sick or something?
Or better yet, if your pep rally is near the end of the school day just leave school. Safe yourself the trouble.
For me, if I ever wanted to escape I would just go to the library.

Can't leave, I live like fourty five miutes away. Nurse is mean and lazy, and can't go to the libray

Just leave the school and chill around the area untill it is over?
and if anything just go to the pep rally. They aren't that bad.
Try letting your guard down for a bit.

Can't escape, they watch the gates, but they are, a whole bunch of sweaty ppl all over you being loud -=-

Never had a pep rally nor have I been to one. BUT if it's anything like any other highschool class...say you have to go to the bathroom and dont come back.

Eh. Just deal with it.
Best advice I can give you.
Bring your ipod or something to preoccupy yourself.

Pep rallies aren't a class.
I personally never had a problem with pep rallies because that got me out of having class. But of course, our school let people go to the library if they didn't want to be there. And of course, I had a lot of school spirit...
But unfortunately with all the things you've said, it looks like you're just going to have to deal with it because you've made it clear that there's no way out of it. Sorry to say, but that's how it is, I guess.

Man I wish we had that option in high school, they forced us to attend those pep rallies, bleh they were always so boring. I would have rather left and gone home.

Yea I wish my school wasn't so getto, so we didn't have to be on lockdown 24/7
