I'm not very good at explaining things but I'll do the best I can.
As some of you may know, I am gay. And as you know I have been having crushes on people on the forum. I feel like I shouldn't though cause there's no chance I'll ever meet any of you. In real life I'm trying to find the right guy, but I just can't cause I'm not out and I don't know anyone who is. I'm actually jealous of all the people on here who have mates. Every time I see that they have a mate and talk about how much they love them, I can't help but feel lonely and unwanted. I feel like I'm never gonna find a mate and I'm actually desperate to have one, which is why I keep asking if anyone lives near me. I don't know what to do. I feel sad, lonely, and like a loser. Sorry if this doesn't make sense, I'm cryin as I type this.

Though I feel ya on the whole *cough* jealousy thing, I think the best thing that you can do is get off the bloody computer and get out more, even if you have to walk. Make friends, meet people, you never know who you're gonna run into. And, since it seems to me that you're implying that you're looking for a furry (by the use of the 'mate' term), stop that too. If you're so desperate to have someone then their being a fur or not shouldn't matter.

well I will probably find time to meet anyone who wants to meet me someday so there is a chance you might meet me if you want to. As for the mate thing, it takes time. There is someone for every one

Ok i am gona shut up about Leo from now on k, And trust me, I am also gona do what Buddy said but just with my best forum friend. Leo, Lita, Seko, Red Wolf etc..

I know how you feel, I recently lost my mate, and I feel so alone and like I will never find someone again, but all you have to do is keep your head up and be confident, People are drawn to it. It might be difficult to find someone straight away but you will find someone who loves you for who you are, Like Buddy said, theres someone for everyone, Just give it time and try go out with some friends, take your mind off of things, since when you feel like this, Alone and upset, it actually drives people away since most dont like being whined to *learnt this from expirence* but like I said, keep your chin up and be confident in yourself, you'll find someone in time, and if you ever wanna talk just PM me or add me on MSN if you like.

Akula, you've got a wonderful personality. Trust me, I know first hand (I nearly ended up being your mate). You'll find someone, but these things take time. Everytime I look at Leo and Crevan or Lita and Seko, I can't help but feel jealous. But I'm darn sure their mates didn't just drop on their doorstep and asked for a snuggle. They worked and waited. And I believe we should do the same...

Trust me it didn't, It took me two months to get Leo to go out with me, two months of hard work but it payed off

Well like a wise old person had said before me, you can look for love, love looks for you.
Me and my mate, started odd, we met at a rave, talked for like six months, saw eachother at the fair, and three months later we started to go out, we didn't see eachother on a regular bases, we just talked every day, the best way to know a person is to talk to them, even if its online, it will make you feel good, and you never know what it can turn into, there isn't anything wrong with online relationships, and you never know what they can turn into.
