Marf, they're just people who enjoy the anonymity of the internet, and take pleasure in making other people react to what they do and say. Just don't reply to them or let them know in any way that they're bothering you, and they won't be a problem. Any reply, even something like "you don't bother me, so just move along =3" is entertaining to them, and will make them want to keep up their game. You just gotta ignore or, if you are able to, delete their comment and forget about it.
Trolls get an especially big kick out of agitating furries because this fandom's members are known for generally being very, VERY defensive (Not every furry is, but a huge majority are). That means when they feel offended or threatened, they lash out in ways where they think they're coming out on top, such as trying to make a point or arguing back, but in reality they're just entertaining the trolls. Moving along without a second glace is the best way to bore them. If only everyone would do this instead of playing their games with them...

I agree with Crash, they'll enjoy anything you say to them, almost at least, I find sometimes people can deal with trolls through Shakespearian insults, they usually don't know how to react to "Hast thou or word, or wit, or impudence, that can yet do thee office?" Also it's just weird, even when they reply you just don't feel like you're being insulted when they use a bunch of simple useless profanity and you're saying things like "Out of my sight! Thou dost infect my eyes."

Mmmmm, I just wanna say, if I were a troll, and I tried to get a rise out of someone, and they responded in that way... I'd be cracking up X3 Just saying!

Kinda the point, it's not really offending anyone, and you don't really feel offended.

The "trolling" behavior is not uncommon to other places than online. I've found this out personally (at work none of the less), and quite literally the best way to deal with it is to actually ignore they exist when they are around and if needed, contact the right people to get it dealt with if they are trying to cause trouble. For here, the right people would be the moderators and admins.

Sorry, should have explained... It's not so much that I have a problem with them, it's just a curiosity as to why there are so many... It seems like hateful people travel in ENOURMOS clumps of annoyance... Not just fur haters alone... our world seems to be overrun by hatred..

Well, it's not only that, but.. I mean, the furry fandom is a pretty weird thing. I mean, at one point in time we have to accept we aren't normal and move on. I mean, if you actually get out to look, you'll find that a large majority of the fandom is entirely fetish-based, which is probably why there's so much hate. Thanks to the media, people think that all furries are freaks in animal suits that run around looking for sex, when we all know that's not entirely true. Trolls also tend to target furries because they are bawfests and react strongly to being made fun of for whatever reason moreso than other people, I guess because furries are more sensitive. Either way, as everyone here has said, don't feed the trolls.

Yeah, my friend was looking out on the internet for a furry site and found some, let's say, dirty fur art and now she has stereotyped the entire fandom with "SEX WITH ANTHRO ANIMALS!" (<- an exact quote from her. weird that i like her.) Some people are just born ignorant to somethings.

I have troll friends irl. They're ok, they know I'm furry and all. Even though they like to joke.
Them: "Furries are scums of the internet."
Me: "No we're not, some people are just stupid."
Silence.
Boom, silly troll thinks hes human.

I have many Furry vids on my youtube, and I actually rarely get trolls, for one thing, I have the option to only allow comments posted after accepted by me, but even so my last vid which has been up for like 2 months now, only had one comment. "Yiff in hell furfag". Creative right? I often teach others how to deal with trolling, and it's to not. Whats the best tatic? Do nothing. Ignore, block. End of story. I see a lot of people who bark back and then other furries join. Feeding the troll.

I mean theres nothing else to do when your a lonely, obese, acne-ridden, loser who has nothing better to do than player hate on other people for their differences.

I love trolls. :P On good days, they give me a laugh with their ignorance and childishness, on bad days, they are a fine target for some frustration venting. :P

Trolls are common buisness on the forum I'm from. You just learn to ignore/mock them.

Sometimes trolls get on my nerves, so let me just say one thing: I AM NOT A FURRY!!! That is if we are going by THEIR definition.
If being a furry means preforming Beastiality, looking at animal porn, and stuff like that, then no, I am NOT a furry if those are the rules to being a furry.
Now, if we go by these rules: A person who likes drawing and looking at drawings of anthro creatures, then yes, I would be a furry. But even then, I only really like certain styles of Anthro Art. Mostly cutesy, but I also like anthros that are big and ugly, and look like they are about to bust a cap. But let me just say that I DO NOT FIND ANTHRO ANIMALS SEXUALLY ATTRACTIVE.
The worst part about trolls is that no matter how many times you say furry porn and beastiality are disgusting, they never get it through their head that you're NOT a sick animal humping wierdo. So once again, if we are going by THEIR definition, then I am NOT a furry. If we are going by MY definition, then I AM a furry.
You know the dumb trolls who don't have much to say I can laugh at, but the really ignorant posts about how furries are like that really annoy me.

trolls exist simply because we get angry at them. Kill them with kindness, thats what I say. When they say something hurtful, just say thanks and walk away!
