Title: Fave or comment
Post by: Self-sain on September 16, 2010, 09:17:39 PM
So I was wondering for those artist out there (written and drawn), would you personally rather have faves, or comments.

I, my self, would like comments personally.

Faves, cuz a comment like "lol" or "cool" but no fave just means that its 'just' cool enough to say that.
I wanna stun em!

Yea, as shado said those "lol" or "cute" type of comments, its nice, but I rather just get a fave for that. But the insightful ones, are what I prefer over anything.

Hmmm... I'd like both... (Greedy)
But if it would help me, I'd like the insightful comment, but I use faves to gauge how well I'm doing, so...

Comments. I don't take favs very seriously, because there are quite a few people who favorite almost every single artwork they come across. At that point it's kind of meaningless. Not everyone does that, of course, but when it's just random people you don't know, it's hard to tell whether it really is a "favorite" or not.

O I seee, I use to fave a lot, but then I decied it shouldn't be just because its good, I has to like a lot of things about It.

I think spending more time to write a comment than just clicking "favorite" means something more to me. However if somebody does both, that's good with me :P
