Okay I got the first two chapters of that story done, but I'm trying to figure out how to get my youngest main character (Jake, 11 years old), into the story. I mean his dad took him to london since he was on vacation, but, I have no idea how to get Jake seriously involved with the main villians (who are....well.....I guess you'd call them demons, but they look like normal people). All I have for him is a mysterious little girl that gave him a pendant (I know how I want to use THAT), but now im at this serious writers block... I just need something to get rolling cause I have a couple choices here but i don't know what would be best. I mean, something can happen in the hotel they stay at, or perhaps the chauffeur could warn them about the hotel? Or is there a demon? Ohhh there's nothing I can really think of though to get a child involved in the story! I mean do I go about it like I would an older character? Or should I take a more cautious approach. Having a child in a story that puts his life in danger, and has him fight....well....things...is kinda difficult....

Well the info you're giving us is completely out of context, but lets see if I can think of something.
The pendant: what if the demons are drawn to it? or a demon's trapped inside it?
The child: Maybe he wanders off, maybe he explores, maybe he finds someone who befriends him and draws him into a dangerous situation?
The dad: Maybe he could disappear? Maybe he could get possessed and attack Jake?

*hug* THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUU! I got alot outta you! Thanks so much! I'll start work as soon as I get my hands on that notebook since im not at home right now! But the stuff you gave more-or-less fits good enough!
okay okay so thinking, and I think that that.
The demons are drawn to it because of the magic inside of it, and Jake is attacked by one when he's off exploring, and the mysterious young girl comes in to give him a hand!
The young girl is 10, by the way, and she has some cool powers with sound.

It seems your settled, but in case you come back into this problem or someone else comes here looking for solutions I'll throw my two cents in.
For overcoming writer's block on your own, a lot of my friends on some writer forums I go on say that something to take your mind off the story for a bit can help. Some scribble on paper, others (Which I like this idea more) write a short story comprised of uselessness and random stuff. Just make something useless, like:
"There was a man named Bill. Bill found a shoe in the forest one day that gave him powers to control fire. He then used this power to fight weasel demons in the fourth dimension and save the damsel in distress...."
Since you're not focusing on something your brain identifies as 'work' and more on what you identify as 'a cool game' you brain will stop being blocked and will flow creativity out into the randomosity, then you can finish and go back to the story with the creative mind of a raving lunatic, other people think that since your brain isn't focusing on something it couldn't think of an idea from and now it's getting completely different ideas, it can handle those, then it kinda resets it. Some people say it's just because 'random' is something your brain likes making, and it's very creative, so it boosts your creativity. I dunno, but it works.
Also one thing I like to do is listen to music and get inspiration from that, sometimes I think up something about the actual song, sometimes my mind wanders and visualizes something.
