Link buzzed out of the well. He would be blushing madly if he had a body by now. "Heh, well, then. Shall we go?" Ela-Ela had told them that the man who wanted the Lens of Truth had headed off to the old Kokiri Forest. It was unknown if the Kokiri still lived there, since their forest home was surrounded by rabid Wolfos.

Very flushed in the face herself, the Hylian woman climbed up the ladder quickly herself sighing slightly. "Well...that was an interesting woman." She sighed as she picked up Nabooru once more trying to avoid having to tell her what happened as she returned to her horse and followed the path to the rumored Kokiri forest. "Wolfos huh, sounds just liek a furry version of those lizards more or less?"

Link nodded. "Wolfos are large, vicious creatures. They won't be easy to beat at all." He said. "Might want to keep Nabooru outside of the forest while you clear them out."

"Yah your right, do you know anyone else that might be able to watch over her?" She asked concernly as she they arrived at the entrance of the forest.

Link sighed. "We might be able to ask for help at the Lon Lon ranch." He had some fond memories of the ranch.

"Another ..."Girlfriend" there hehe?" She giggled at her comment for a moment and looked around. "You think I can just leave her here with Apone for now though?" She says as she began to dismount looking to the entrance of the forest a massive hollowed out tree.

"Well, I guess..." Link said. "...you could leave her here. Apone would probably take good care of her."

"Allright then, and when we head back we shall head to this Lon Lon to leave Nabooru there until we can decide what better to do with her. " Smiling at the child sitting on the horse as she gently brushes her hand on her side to comfort her. "Do not worry, me and the fairy are just going for a walk in the forest, we'll be back soon, stay with Apone and if anything bad happens I want you to hang on tight and let Apone guide you." Smiling as she then looking to Apone stroking his cheek ."Take care of her Apone I'll be back soon enough." She then looks to the forest and heads in.

Nabooru nodded happily. "It's okay! I've got a nice big horsie to protect me!" She said, grinning. Link buzzed loudly. "Well, then, shall we?"

She nods and charges into the forest sword and shield out at the ready.

Linkara would be greeted by a gruesome sight. A couple dozen Wolfos, all slaughtered mercilessly. The stench of gore was in the air, and the normally green grass was red and silver, a combination of the blood and fur that was strewn around. The damage appeared to have been done by a blade. Apparently a serrated edge blade. Link gasped at the horror. "N...no...what happened?" He said, looking around.

Her eyes widened at the carnage, sure it would be most likely she would have had to fight these beasts as well, but still it was so...gruesome. "What....happened here?" She asked to no one in particular inching forward into the pathway and kneeling at one of the wolfos' bodies.

The moment Linkara touched the body, she would be tackled to the ground by a large ball of fur. It appeared to be a little smaller than she. Accompanying the ball, was a large, raspy shout. "GET THE **censor** AWAY FROM HER!" As she was knocked to the ground, she would see a small wolfos. It stood a few inches smaller than her, wearing a tattered pair of brown shorts. It had piercing amber eyes, and a lean build. "DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH THESE BODIES, YOU FILTHY HYLIAN!"

Linkara looked at the smaller wolfos curiously as she tried to get up slowly. "Hey, did you see what happened here? Was it the cloaked man we heard he was coming here, we came to stop him...apparently were getting closer....who are you?" She asked as she brushed herself off.

"Hylians have no place in the Lost Woods!" He snarled. "The last Hylian who came through here killed everyone!" He swiped a hand in front of him. He leapt towards the entrance to the Kokiri village. "If you want to get through, you'll have to get through me!" He said. Curiously enough, tears were running down his face. He assumed a fighting stance.

She could see the sadness in the beasts eyes as she stepped forward putting her weapons away and looked around the bodies littering the area. "This is horrid, I can tell who ever did this wasn't just defending themselves, it was pure bloodlust...what a fiend...I am sorry for your lose young one." She stepped towards him again, openning her arms slightly to him.

"SHUT UP!" He shouted, leaping and kicking her in the chest. "Why? Why drop your weapons? Why not fight me? It's what you came to do, right?" He eyed her suspiciously. "I get it. You came to finish what your friend back there didn't! What, was slaughtering my entire family not good enough for you?"

She let out an umph as she took a couple steps back from the strong kick. She merely look saddened at the wolf as she merely began to continue stepping forward, trying to embrace him. "Do I look like I would be with this monster? I might have to be forced to defend myself against some of these, however I would never go this far...it is.....too much." She looked down a bit. "If you don't want to see the Kokiri end up like this you'll let me pass! That man MUST be stopped!"

His lips trembled, and his eyes widened. "Why? Why don't you fight back?" He ran up to her and punched her in the gut. "Fight me!" He punched her again. "Defend yourself!" Again. "Why!" Again. "Won't!" Again. "You!" Again. "Fight!" Again. "BACK?" He punched her once more, dropped to his knees and sobbed. "Why...why..." He was clearly in some emotional distress.

Linkara coughed heavily from the strong punches, they really did hurt for such a smaller version of the species, making her quite wary of wanitng to fight an adult as she slowly got back to her feet holding her hurting gut as she slowly moved up to the wolf as he dropped down sopping and moved her arms gently around the young wolf. "Hey now, shhh it's going to be okay, at least YOU are still alive."

The Wolfos began crying once more, leaning his head over he shoulder. It was nice to have another embrace him...but why? "W-Why? W-why are you holding me? Hylians hate us...you're all evil." He said, his tears landing on the shoulder of Linkara's tunic. "Why? Why, why why?" He said, lowering his voice. "Why did they have to go..."

"Shhh you need to rest, look things are not safe here and your in no condition to protect yourself properly, and trust me Hylians think the exact same as you seeing as how often you all attack on sight, but maybe you can help me. If you want to that is?" Thinking perhaps he would make a good friend and guard for Nabooru. "What is your name." She leaned back slightly tilting his head up gently to look into her eyes.

He pulled away and looked into her eyes. "We don't attack on sight! We attack when we're in danger!" He shouted, obviously offended. "Besides, why would I want to help you?" He scoffed. "My name is Hadre(Ha-Der)."

"I didn't say you had to, I was asking...but please at least allow me past I must stop this man from ruining the Kokiri forest...imagine what could be happening to them if he could do this? Please?" She looked into his eyes pleadingly, even though she couldn't probably kill him to get past she didn't want to stoop to that fiends level of barbarism.

Hadre looked away. "Fine. You can go. What good it'll do." He said, pushing her away. "Anyways, those damn Kokiri. Ever since that weird guy came through here, they've been angry as ever. Won't even trade with us anymore." Link buzzed forward.
"Wait, is this the same person that did all of this?" Link asked, confused. Hadre shook his head.
"No. This guy was different. Big guy, black hood. Had a book with him. Didn't look too strong, and we didn't sense a malevolent aura, so we left him alone." Link thought for a moment.
"So, wait, who was this new guy?" He said. Hadre looked pained.
"I could never forget his face. Cold, merciless, bloodthirsty. Big axe. Said he was looking for a man in a hood. He took the first swing." He said, the tears flowing again. "And now, because of him...I'm the last remaining Wolfos..." He shrunk down. The Wolfos had reverted into the woods, finding no company or kin in other lands. So they became a dying breed. "I wish they would all just die!"

"Hadre...I want you to come with me...if you truely have no one else then please, help me, because what Im getting into I'm going to need all the help I can get." She asked stepping forward and placing a soft kiss on the end of his snought. "I know you don't like Hylians, but...can you just do me one favor...there is a girl upon a horse outside these woods, very young...I cant keep watch over her all the time, but I cannot just leave her either..she is just as alone as you are...please...join her outside the forest and help protect them until I return?" She was starting to be quite the mother figure she thought...it was an odd feeling.

Linkara's words struck a note with the Wolfos. She reminded him of his own mother, who was actually the body Linkara knelt down to. He looked into her eyes softly, with the same glare as before, but his eyes were filled with something different. He nodded. "Fine. But make me a promise. If you go in there and come back out without some proof that that man is dead, I'll kill her." He said, walking away. He meant every word. He approached Nabooru, who eyed him happily. He snarled. "I'm not here to play with you, and I'm not your friend. I'm here to watch over you." He said, leaning against Apone. "I don't like you, but I'll do it." He wondered if Linkara would be able to.

She then grit her teeth as she yelled out fiercly to the young Wolfos. "AND IF I COME BACK AND SHE IS NOT IN ONE PIECE I"LL DO FAR WORSE TO YOU!" She was not in the mood to losing people she was just getting to know. "But...I promise to do what I can. Just take care of her." She sighed and turned. "Why do I feel like I just killed that girl now? What if I can't kill this monster, I mean, these are all Wolfos, powerful ones....this....Axman ...he is dangerous." She says as she follows the forest trail now.

Link would have smiled if he had a mouth. "Aww, Linkara, it's okay. I could sense his aura. He wouldn't kill anything that wouldn't hurt him first. He means what he said, but he won't hurt her." He nodded. "Yeah, we can do this."

She nodded with a bit more confidence and smiled to Link, she would hug him if she wouldn't crush him, he was always there for her, not that he had a choice though. She continued through the forest wondering what htey would find.

They would be greeted by a bunch of Kokiri. Little girls and boys, all weilding rather painful slingshots. They laughed. "Heh, Freeze!" One said, and the rest giggled in turn. They quickly surrounded Linkara. "Hey, what're you doing here?" "Yeah, Ugly!" "You're fat, and you smell like Wolfos Doo-doo!" Link buzzed out from under her hat. "Hey! cut it out!" They gasped.
"Hey, how'd you get a fairy?" "I bet she stole it!" "You can't steal a fairy, silly!" "How come you're grown up?" Link shouted. "Enough! I chose to join Linkara of my own free will. Now, as a Fairy, I demand you let us pass!" They all laughed. They quickly tackled Linkara, surrounding and overwhelming her. They put ropes around her hands and lifted her. "We're gonna take you to see the tree!" They carried her through the village, looking like it'd been run-down for a while. They ended at a grove, with a large tree. One of the kokiri drew Linkara's sword. "Heh, look at me, I'm a hero!" He said, making a full swing. Suddenly, he seemed to undergo a change. "H-Hey, guys, I don't think that's a good idea." He said worriedly. The Kokiri looked at him strangely. "Hey, lookit this. Sora's wimping out on us!" One said, laughing. The kid placed the sword back as they approached the Deku Tree, dropping her. The Deku Tree looked at her and smiled. "What is this, young ones? Someone wanting to play?" He said, childishly. "State your name, young one."

Grunting a bit at the rough landing as the boys and girls tossed her before the man she sighed. "Gah ....mff...I am Linkara, and Im hunting a dangerous man...he is dark and wears a hood carrying an evil book with him. ...and there is another...a beast of a man with a large axe...he killed all the Wolfos out in the forest."

One of the kids raised his hand. "Oh, you mean Big Man A. He came through here about half an hour ago." Another Kokiri bonked him on the head. "Don't give our information to an outsider!" The Deku Tree laughed. "Children, children, calm down." One of the kids laughed when Linkara mentioned the wolfos. "Aww, the little puppies are dead." He said, faking sadness, then laughing hysterically. The kid who had touched the sword spoke up. "Hey! It's not funny!" They all glared at him. "Who asked you, Sora?" They all mocked him, and he stopped talking. Deku Tree got angry. "Enough!" They all stopped talking. "Ahem. Linkara, the first man you speak of is off in the Lost Woods. The other one, who we've named Big Man A, is currently after him. You may enter the lost woods if you wish, but be warned. It is dangerous without a guide." Sora spoke up. "I'll guide her!" The Deku Tree nodded. "Very well. Take your sword and go with her. Cut her ropes." He did as he was told. The Deku Tree smiled. "Linkara, I fear that things around here may begin to escalate. I wish I could have given you a warmer welcome."

"Not as much as I wish I had received one heh...just keep everyone safe, these men have caused a lot of blood to be spilt, Im going ot make them both pay. Thank you..Sora is it, I'm greatful for your help." Smiling as she gently takes her sword back from him and kisses his forehead lightly. "Lead the way young guide."

Sora blushed and led her to the opening of the Lost Woods. He seemed sad about something. Link buzzed out. "Hey, Sora, I, um...I wanted to ask...Where's your Fairy?" Sora stopped in his tracks. "When the black man came, all the fairies left. They followed him into the woods. Something about 'Their Calling.' " He continued walking.

"A...calling...hmmm we should be careful, if this is like what happened to the Zora's and Goron's we might be in for some mischeivous evil fairies now." She sighed as she followed the boy into the Lost Woods. "I hope this wont take too long, the longer we take the more likely they wil lget away."

"Yeah, Mr. Hood came in with a book. It was really black. Kind of like a hole that you could hold on to. We all looked at it. Of course, none of us could read, but it was really pretty. We saw a lot of colors when he opened it." He said, leading them through the woods. "Don't worry, not much longer."

Linkara stopped for a moment...she knew they were but children however....there was no garuntee that they weren't affected...but they ddin't..seem affected as she then continued with the boy trying to keep up. "Hmmm I see..." She feared what could happen if her eyes ever touched this book herself.

Link buzzed. "Yeah, this book seems to be the cause of the problem." They came across a large wide outcrop. It was large and square. There were blood and small trees laying everywhere. Sora looked horrified. "T-This was..." Link buzzed forward. "Oh, Goddesses..." Sora fell to his knees. "T-this used to be a maze...stalfos and moblins...they would protect the temple.."

She swallowed deeply as she looked over the cut down forest before them..."This is..horrid..this Ax man ....I almost hope he gets his wish...then again, if were unlucky he might be turned too...we can't have that...quick let's hurry!" She ran across teh open field trying to get through quickly, not even thinking the boy might have led her into a trap they could too be slaves as well after all.

Sora followed her, there wasn't much left. The temple had begun to fall apart, but it still had its staircases. Sora nodded. "You go in. I have to tend to these..." He said, picking up the fallen saplings. Link nodded. "Right, Linkara, let's go into the temple!"

She nodded. "Stay safe and thank you for the guiding." Kissing his forehead again as she then heads up the stairs into the temple.

The temple door would have a bone jammed into its lock, and be swung right open. The bodies of two more wolfos lay at the entrance, one of them used for its bone. inside, there would be several chambers, all unlocked in a very brutal manner. There was one central corridor leading down to a much larger door. Bloody footprints stained it.

Swallowing nervously she followed the bloody foot prints deeper into the temple, wondering what in the world happened here and hoping she never finds out as she looks around the next chamber.

"By the Goddesses...this man doesn't even go through the temple correctly. He just barges right through them!" Link said, angrily. Mostly due to the fact that he'd gone through this same temple before, spending a full day in there trying to figure it out. Down the corridor, past the large, red, broken door, she would see a large podium, with the two men standing on it. The Ax-Man, a very large figure with a white shirt, no armor, and wearing a kilt. And the hooded human. Above them would be a cage full of Fairies. The two's conversation was easily heard. "So," Said the Ax-Man. "You're telling me to give up my freedom and surrender to ya, then you'll give me ultimate power?" The Hooded man nodded. "Yes." Was the only answer. Ax-Man grinned. "Ya drive a hard bargain, Mr. Belle-whatever. I'll take it." A sly smile could be seen underneath the hood. "Good. Good. Now, look at this." He said, opening the book. The Ax-Man looked at it, and suddenly fell backwards." The Hooded man turned and began to walk away, until he noticed Linkara. "Urk-You!" He said angrily. "Cleever, get rid of this swine! Bring me the sword she has, and do NOT fail me!" He said, disappearing in a puff of smoke. The Ax-Man, Cleever, as he was called, quickly got to his feet and jumped, snarling in a terrible rage. He picked up his Ax and leaped towards Linkara in a large, powerful swing.

Her eyes widened as she quickly jumped off to the side in a rolling dive gasping as the massive axe dug loudly into the ground as she looked at the black eyed man now charging upon her. "OHhh [Censored] now I'm in trouble...uhhh think Linkara Think!"

Cleever quickly pulled his Axe from the ground and shouted, lunging at Linkara once more, swinging horizontally. Link would float up, and try unlocking the cage with the fairies. No use. "Linkara, see if he has a key!"

She yelps and as she the Ax swung at her she quickly dove down and tried to crawl underneath the large man's kilt. "I"M A LITTLE BUSY HERE!"

Linkara would be met with a large eyeful of the man's cock, just dangling down. She slid underneath him, and he turned, placing a large kick to her rear end and smiling evilly. He clearly had some bad thoughts going. He chuckled menacingly. A tent began to form in his kilt as the cock Linkara just saw began to rise.

Suddenly feeling the harsh kick to her rear she let out a loud cry as it sent her tripping to the ground near the podium, slowly trying t oget up from the impact as she fianlly found a moment to at least draw her sword from her scabbard. "T...this guy is tough...so much worse than that Lizardfo!"

Cleever bellowed loudly in a harsh laugh. "Don't be surprised, girlie." He had a thick scottish accent. "First yer gonna hate it, then yer gonna love it. And when I'm finished, YER GONNA HURT LIKE HELL!" He shouted, pouncing and swinging his Ax once more.

She let out a scream as she dove behind the podium to dodge the Ax swing gasping fro breath at how much she had to move jsut to stay alive as she tried to use to podium to help her stand quicker. "Dammnit, open your eyes he is only using you!"

"Oh no, Lassie. He's not using me. I'm very much in control." He grinned. "I just got a new toy to play with, is all." His axe missed her throat by about an inch. He approached her and gripped her by the neck. "Oh yes. So young and tender." He said, a devilish smirk on his face. He reached into his kilt.

She gaspedo ut her hand clutching around the arm clutching her as her hand released the sword clanging to the ground as she grasped at you. "L..let me go! Dammit you have been hunting HIM so long, all the things you did, and your just going to GIVE IN!"

"Oh, I haven't been hunting him. I've been following. Belle-whatever, can't be bothered with the blasted name, has a lot of power. I want it, and now he gave it to me." He pulled out a small dagger. "Hm. Now, you're mine!" He raised it, and as he brought it down, the large man was suddenly hit by a ball of silver. It was Hadre. Cleever would stumble away, giving Linkara some time to breathe. "Gah! What the hell?" He shouted as he was knocked back. Hadre growled fiercely. "You...You slaughtered my family. I will personally snap your neck, and feel your blood on my fangs." He leapt towards Cleever, who batted him away with the blunt of his ax. "Insolent little whelp!" He shouted. "I let you live, and this is how you repay me?" He raised his Ax for a final chop. "Well ,say goodnight, ya little Munchkin!"
