The year is not certain, its been almost three life spans since the bombs have fallen and engulfed the world in death. Through pre planing and wealth your family has lived among others in underground pods. Each family that's was provided a pod has had enough space to fit a singel generation of off springs. The pods are connected to a large underground plaza. The plaza is called the main frame, the main frame was large enough to be able to hold every one through out all of the residing family's, but only one generation. The pods are underground and are static to the size they where made. In two generations it would of went to anarchy and every one would be fighting for space, food, and water. The groups counsel members thought that they only way to eliminate this problem would be to kill off members. This would work technically but one counsel member saw that this might cause a problem and would just in the end lead to rebellion and total anarchy faster. He suggested that each family's children must all fight in an arena to earn the rights to live in the pod. This has been law in the main frame ever since, your time is arriving to fight your fellow brethren for your right to live inside the main frame, and lets your genetics move to the next generation. The day before your fight, you receive a letter form one of the head counsels. You have been asked to meet them in a hidden part of the main frame, the only way for you to get there is to board a private train. When you get on the train you notice that there are no windows and you are not the only one on the train.
-
Siyan gets up from his seat to get a better look at some of the faces on the train, he sees a fire hot red that cathes his attention and he walks over to see who it is. Its Kira Williams, her family is one of the more sophistacted branch of the main frame. 'What would one of the head conusel want with me, and some one like her at the same time' Siyan thought to him self as he looked at her with dissecting eyes.
-
Kira sat down on one of the train seat, looking straight ahead of her. She didn't want to look at anyone else on the train, she shouldn't even be here. 'They're all lower class...' Kira thought to herself. The previous day she had received a letter from the counsel to board this train. It seem strange since the fighting began tomorrow. 'What would they want from us...?'
-
The black jackal shadily sat in the corner of the dark train. His lips were curled in disgust. 'Why would those rats want me? Especially in the same area as them.' He growled lowly as he thought, his cold eyes meeting the flash of red that happened to be Kira. They quickly found their way back to the metal flooring. Himmen hated the inside world, and craved-no, needed, to see more. Sadly, he knew he was probably never going to, especially if the counsel had had an eye on him.
-
Dat was leaning against a wall, twirling a toothpick with three fingers. "Now who could that be...?" Dat wondered aloud as he watched a jackal sit down. "Probably just a wanderer.. Making his pass. Best leave him be.." Dat continued twirling the toothpick from boredom.
-
Siyan looks at kira with more intrest, the seat next to her is open. 'I'm sure a nice looking sophisticated girl like her will just love to be with some one like me' he thought to him self as he sat next to her. "Hey babe, how you doing" he said as he leaned back in the chair. He was trying to act all cool for her, but sadly he was far from it, he didn't know that the arms on the chairs weren't very durable so when he leaned back he fell out of the chair and hit his head.
-
Dat cackled under his breath. "Some people are just easy to fool..." He said with a grin. "Probably going to die if he ever gets in danger..." Dat then started walking through the train, watching the people, seeing what they were doing. He saw an old couple leaning against each other asleep. "Sweet...." he said with a smile.
-
Kira laughed at Siyan once he was on the floor. "Don't try too hard." She extended her hand out to him. It was the least she could do for him. 'Hopefully he just goes back to his other seat.' Kira didn't want anyone being near her, especially when it distracted her from her thoughts.
-
Himmen let out a soft dark chuckle and darted his eyes to Dat. "Oh, so I guess you're the wise one, huh?" He said with his deep voice. "I doubt they would like your eavesdropping, so you might wanna just sit down." He had an intimidatingly cold stare, which he loved to put to use.
-
Siyan looks up to see kira offer her hand, "ummm thanks" he said as he took her hand and got up. "All of you in a seat now" a very large man said in all black clothing, even his face was covered. Siyan jumped in the first seat that was available, the one next to kira.
-
Kira let out a loud sigh, this was not what she intended. 'As long as he doesn't bother me.' She thought to herself, taking a glance at the others. The only ones beside her and the bat was a jackel and a fox. 'Good it looks like their amongst themselves.' She put one leg over the other and crossed her arms.
-
Himmen meerly glared at the man and kept in his seat. "Whudduya want?" He spat out at him moodily and disrespectfully. He looked at what he thought was the man's face and paid no attention to the others next to him.
-
Dat looked a bit annoyed. "Whats rong with looking at someone?" He said with a bit of an angered growl. "Not like its illegal or anything." Then he thought to himself, 'What if it is..'
-
The larg man in all black ran towards Dat, "Boy don't make me put you down" he said as he grabed dats shirt. "Hey what do you think is up with that guy", Siyan said to kira as he pointed at the jackel. "And on that note what's up with that other guy, he seemed all mello... maybe he is bi ploar" Siyan wisperd to kira.
-
'Why is he still talking to me, doesn't he take hints?' The pink cat gave Siyan a look, "It doesn't matter, it's none of my concern." Kira rolled her eyes.
-
Himmen gave a darted and narrow glare towards the fox's companion. He growled lowly and viciously, keeping in his seat and looking towards the man with the same narrowed eyes. "Well?! Hurry up and gimme an explanation!" He growled at him impatiently, arms crossed as he keeps his lips curled and teeth bared in his temperment.
-
Dat kept a straight face and put the tooth pick in his mouth. "Jesus christ, why do you need an explanation? Its not like you're life depended on it." He said as he reached into his trench coat. "Where is it.... where is it... ah! here it is!" Dat pulled out a small, expensive looking case.
-
"I wasn't talking to you, idiot!" He snapped in a snarl. He looked to the man from before impatiently expecting an explanation and paying no attention to Dat, though noticing the expensive case. In Himmen's opinion, Dat was simply another fool who just got lucky.
-
The train started to move, and the large man in black went to the front and the door slammed shut behind him. "I'm sure you'll learn to butter... butt... bu.." Siyan was loosing consciousness. He tasted a odd taste in the air, and he didn't know what was going on. He soon lost felling in his feet, his arm, and even his wings. 'What's going on' He thought to him self. He struggled to uses any energy in his arms to raise his head up just to look around. It was no use he could barley keep his eyes open let alone lift his head. His vision soon went black, loss in nothingness, and not long after so did he. He lost the ability to fight it and lost consciousness.
-
"Hey, whats wrong with yo-" Suddenly, Kira began to feel weak and dizzy. Everything was spinning around her, there was something strange in the air. Slowly her vision was becoming black, she tried to fight it but, it consumed her as she finally hit the floor.
-
Himmen gulped loudly, idiotically watching the two enter a slumber. He attempts to hold his breath, glaring at the man and looking to Dat as he himself closed his eyes and leaned his head back. If he was going to do this, he was going to do it with the upmost dignity and simply accept his fate. He let the sleep hold its blanket over him peacefully, simple leaning back in the chair.
-
Dat laughed a bit. "They think they can smoke me out... And they can." He said as he took his toothpick out, so he didnt swallow it when he fell asleep. "Might as well do this the easy way." He said as he slammed himself into the wall, knocking himself out.
-
Siyan wakes up, his visions blurry he cant see much. He looks around he sees that girl from before, he also sees that jackal and the other one. 'What the hell' he thought to himself. He tried to move but, his arms where chained together, and he just realized he was hanging. "What the hell is this!" he yelled out in panic.
-
Kira opens her eyes and when she tries to get up, her arms wouldn't move. They are chained onto the wail, 'Huh..?' she looked around the area. The same people that were in the train were here as well. "What is going on...?" Kira thought out loud.
-
Himmen was awake long before he opened his eyes. He growled lowly and began to pull at the bindings, thrashing violently. "Lemme go or I swear I'll rip you apart!" He began to pull at them and make many snarls. He began to look for his pockets, an attempt to get a lighter or knife which he always carried. "I swear I'll burn you all! Get me out of this now!" He kept going with his threats, thrashing more and panting loudly; yet persisting.
-
Dat was already awake, observing the chains.
"Easy enough.."
He said quietly. Dat started swinging his lower body back and forth until he got high enough to grab the chain with his feet.
After his feet were holding onto the chain above him he started to work at the chains.
-
Also on the chains was a small creature. It looked like a rabbit in a brown coat that was too big for him. He didn't pay much attention to the others, he was too busy reading a book he had on the ground close to him, until he heard a yell. "Quiet down, you," he said before setting his eyes back on his book. It was kind of weird that they allowed him to keep the book, though. He seemed to be ignoring the fact he was chained up.
-
Wakeing up with a yawn the feline examined the area around him as well observeing the chains "Aw what? What the hell is this? You get gassed then chained, what next? Interigation?" He groaned looking at the chains it looked simple enough to undo if he the right tool. Shakeing his head a bit as he sighed. shrugging it off as he began to hum tilting his head back and forth just enjoying the time, wandering what the situation at hand is.
-
A man dressed in black walks in, he takes Lectin Cobb's book and throws it at dat. Dat falls off the chains, "You filthy maggots, I'm sure you are wondering what is going on? Well that's not what I'm here for. I'm here to break you, I'm here to kill your will, I'm here to kill your hope. I'm going to kill every thing you had, have, or would of. I'm here to turn you into my little slaves, and the best way to do that is to break you early." He grabs Dat by the snout and hits him in the face. "and i already don't like you"
-
Kira watched in horror as the man dressed in black hit Dat. 'I shouldn't be here... I have to get out somehow...' she thought to herself. She looked at the floor, trying not to put any attention on her whatsoever. The last thing she would want is getting hit by that man.
-
Dat fell on the ground from the blow. "Wha-" He stammered out before he got punched. "AGH!" Dat yelled as he started to bleed out the muzzle at an alarming rate. "Who are you!?" He shouted at the man who was dressed in all black. Dat just met this man, and he knew he had to find a way out of this.
-
Himmen let out a loud, vicious snarl. "I don't do slave," He growled at him. "And never will." He began to bare his teeth in a feral guesture; eyes wide and jaw ready to bite. Himmen's feral instincts were at work; adrenaline and slight panic had awoken them. His deep, cold eyes kept on the mysterious stranger who'd kidnapped them. "I'm going to rip you limb from limb and eat your heart." He growled at him lowly.
-
Leo took stoped humming the moment he saw the man. Now alarmed at the iminent danger he began pulling at the chains that held him in place hopeing the bolts holding the chains would losen up so he could break away from them. "Oh great, can't anyone do crap for themselves now?" he growled.
-
"My book!" Lectin yelled as the man in black knocked it away from him. The book was the only thing keeping Lectin from losing his mind. "What ever you want from us, the answer is no! Got it!?" Lectin wanted as much as anyone to be free from the chains, but he wasn't going to start following the man's orders.
-
"Ha! are you guys stupid or something! Yelling at me, what the hell is that goign to do except piss me off!" the large man said as he pulled out a wip and beat Lectin, Leo, and Himmen. He was laughing hysterically as blood dripped from there backs, as he swung and hit Himmen a loud siren went off, and red lights flashed lighting up the dim hell hole. "Dam!" he said as he ran out and another man that no one saw also ran out. When the other man came into view the chains fell and every one else fell to the floor. After a few seconds Siyan ran over to Himmen with his arms still bound together. "Hey are you alright" Siyan said as tried to help him up.
-
Kira dropped onto the floor, her arms hanging above her. She looked over and saw Lectin and Leo on the floor covered in blood, and Siyan trying to aid Himmen. 'It would have been smart not to say anything at all...' she thought to herself, as she just sat there. She couldn't do anything of the chains that were wrapped around her arms.
-
Dat whiped the blood of his muzzle and went to help the female with her chains. "Anyone know who that guy was?" He said as he worked at the chains, paying no ottention to the alarms. "Its like he thinks we ARE slaves..." He sighed, before whiping off a little more blood.
-
Himmen spat out a hunk of cloth he'd pulled off the man's fist with his teeth. He stood up and let out a high whine of pain. "Go help them! I'm fine!" He growled viciously, fangs bared and covered in his own blood. He grabbed a chain and let out a loud snarl, throwing it a wall hard to relieve his anger. It barely missed Dat, bouncing back and falling to the floor and Himmen turned his stare to him. "Sorry." He grudgingly apologized and began to wipe his muzzle.
-
Sitting up with a groan, Leo spat out some blood from his bitten tongue and leaned against the wall "man this stings..." he groaned in pain, it felt like fire to him. Letting his head roll back from the pain he muttered loud enough "Other then the sadist, anyone somewhat concerned about the annoying noise." as he finished he forced himself to his feet.
-
Lectin was in pain right now, but all he seemed to care about now that the man was gone was his book. "Annoying noise? You mean the siren?" Just then, Lectin fell down in pain, with blood dripping from his face. His glasses were cracked and no longer usable, but they were only reading glasses, so it didn't matter that much. "If I find that guy, I swear I'll... ow!" Lectin tried standing up, but even that was painful to him.
-
"You know what, we have to try to find an exit, If we don't will all end up a lot worse." Siyan said as he began to pull on the cahins. 'But what about the little guy, if he can't hold him self up, then we might just have to leave him, I don't know what he wants with us but I don't want to find out' siyan thought to him self.
-
Kira shook her head, "Its no use..." she said, sitting back down. She looked down at the chains wrapped around her arms, and then to the others. 'How are we gonna get out of this?' Kira thought to herself, resting her head against the wall.
-
Dat walked to a large puddle of blood. "What a mess" He said, tutting. "If he knew hat he was doing he would put some towels down before making people bleed." Dat then walked over to Himmen, and kneeling down to talk to him. "Why so personal?" He asked, not showing stupidity on his face.
-
He blushed a bit under his dark fur and forced a cold look at Dat. "What're you talking about?" He said, attempting a look of his earlier aggression, but not successfully. He bit his lip, wiping his own bleeding nose. The pain and sting hit him when his burst of adrenaline, which had numbed the pain, left. He winced and got to his feet, muffling a yelp on his lip; ears low. He looked down to Dat and offered his shaky paw.
-
"Man you have to be crazy if this doesn't hurt" he said gritting his teeth a bit, finaly letting out a wine from pain as he took a step forward stumbling a bit before his movement gradualy returned to normal "We can carry the little guy if he can't walk, it seems rather demented leaveing someone behind, if they can help in some way later."
-
"No, no, that's quite alright, I'm fine." Lectin managed to stand upright without yelping out in pain. Lectin seemed to be getting over the pain, but it was still obvious he was struggling to stand up. "No, don't worry about me, I'll get by. Let's just stick to the task at hand: Getting out of here." Lectin took his time reaching the rest of the group, holding the book in one of his hands, which were still chained together.
-
"Ok we should look fro something to remove the chains with," Siyan takes a deeper look at the chains "It look like a basic lock and key chain, so does anyone cary any spare bobby pins." He was looking at the group and he was just wondering how dumb he must of sounded saying that. A large explosion out side, followed by some strong vibrations are felt inside the chambers.
-
Kira went against the wall to balance herself. "Uhh..." she took off two pins from her hair, "Here, that's all I have." She went up and handed it to Siyan. 'Of course he would know how to do this...' she thought to herself, but then quickly shook her head. It wasn't the time to be judging him, for all she know someone in this chamber could save her life.
-
The explosion still went on in Dat's ears. "Is it just me or should we figure whatever did that?" He asked, Rubbing his ear with his paw. "It could be that human guy... Or something worse.." He stated, wide-eyed.
-
Himmen had been staggering towards where the men had vanished to, only to fall on his rear from his shaking stance and yelp in pain when the room was rocked lightly by an explosion. His cold gaze seemed to warm up a bit in his current state of light dependency. He got up with difficulty and walked over to the group, ears down. He had his tail low and wasnt standing tall as normal. He short height had been exposed worse and his attempts at pridely toughguy weren't being tried.
-
Leo quickly placed a hand on the wall to keep himself from being toppled over looking at the door curiously wandering what's going on. Looking over to kira seeing her toss Siyan a bobby pin he sat down seeing how they wont be going anywhere for some time. Growing a bit imaptient he pointed to the glasses on the floor "Hey, could someone toss me thoes"
-
"Oh, those?" Lectin looked to the glasses on the floor. "Those are my reading glasses. Why do you need them for? ...Oh, whatever." Lectin dropped his book and went towards his glasses. The problem was grabbing the glasses without breaking them. Lectin layed down next to the glasses and reached for them as far as he could. Eventually he managed to grab his reading glasses, but throwing them to Leo would be another story.
-
Siayn start to fidget with his lock on the chains, he looked up to see lectin having some problems trying to hand over the glasses. He got his open and when his chains drooped, he massaged his wrist, they where sore from having those chains so tight. He looked up at dat, he looked as if he was more then capable of undoing his own chains, he walked over to dat and handed him a bobby pin, and then walked over to Kira and started to work on hers.
-
Kira held her arms out for Siyan as he worked on her chains. 'He's actually going to help me...' she thought to herself. "Thanks..." she said to him. Kira looked over at the others trying to get their chains off. "What are we going to do??" Kira asked him, uncertainly.
-
(Didn't I already open them?) Dat sat down on a bench and tilted his head back, resting for a moment. "So whats the plan for getting out of here?" He asked, coughing from a fallen dust bunny. "We are supposed to get out, right?"
-
Himmen pointed to the tunnel the men had run through. "That... Leads somewhere...." He said, voice filled with an uncertain tone and shaking with a mix of fear and pain. "But the men went that way..." He bit his lip and kept his ears low as he fumbled with the chains in his paws. His tough guy act had been pulled away easily; and its absense exposed the dependent, scared puppy-like core. He leaned against the original wall, waiting for one of the others to do something.
-
(Tangletail said I could skip his turn.)
Lectin finally managed to get up and hand Leo the glasses. He then listened to what Himmen said. "Then that means we should find another way. ...But where?" Lectin looked up and saw a heating vent near the top of the wall. But it was too high up, and they didn't have a means of reaching it. ...Unless. "I have an idea. Maybe we could chain the cuffs together and use them as a grappling hook. I say it's worth a try."
-
((information)) <-- keep this out of the rp it goes in the ooc
Siyan looked at Lectin, "Well unless any of you guys have the ability to wedge the chains into grappling hooks i say that wont work." After every one was unhooked, Siyan looked back at the heating vents, "I was a gymnast, I might be able to reach the heating vent, and then one of you guys could throw me a chain and you guys could try to climb up it" Siyan said as he started to back up. He looked up at the vent, then at the poles that they where attached to. He let out a deep sigh, and then bolted forword. He jumped in the air garbed the pole. He slowly inched his self towards the heating vent. Then he lunged for it, he grabbed it with one paw, as he tried to use his other to get more of a grip. He slowly pulled himself on as he panted from exhaustion. He was far from in shape, he looked down towards the group. "Hey..throw me.. the.. chain" he said as he panted heavily.
-
Kira found a chain on the ground and threw it towards Siyan. "Are you ok up there?" she asked, hearing him pant. She looked over at the others, and back at Siyan. This was their only chance, if the heating vent didn't work out, that means they would have to go through the tunnel. Hearing Himmen talk about it before with fear, she had a feeling that going through there would be a bad idea.
-
Himmen listened to the pair and eventually leaned forward, ignoring the whip mark's pain. He began to claw at his set of chains, breathing heavily to concentrate on it. His claw slid into the small lock as it had between wires at work. He tweaked around, completely focused on the lock. He opened it after a minute of tinkering and gulped, pulling off the lock and locking at again on nothing when he pulled the claw from it. He looked around the room quietly.
-
Takeing the glasses with a thankful nod "Thank you, Ill give these back in a second" he carefully removed a pin from one of the reader's legs takeing it off so he could use it freely. Turning the chains around till he found the section he was looking for and jamed it in the crack feeling a click without bothering with the lock and opened them in just a few seconds standing up to go help Himmen out of his chains. "And..." he hummed putting the glasses back together before handing it to him, in the exact same condition he obtained them in "Here you go."
-
"YHmm, I never thought of that yet." Lectin was still chained together, which is why he had trouble giving Leo his glasses from before. He took the glasses and tried the same method as Leo. Lectin wasn't as crafty as everyone else, though, so it was harder for him to do so. Eventually he managed to release his cuffs. "Right, that's everyone I believe."
-
Now that every one was free Siyan looked at the chains, "hey I'm going to-" the air vent began to shake. Siyan put is arms on the wallls of the air vents braceing himself, the air vents finaly gave with with a large thud. The sound of something being crushed, followed by siyan falling out. Siayn lifted himself up and he felt some liquid in between his fingers, he looked and saw that it was blood. He slowly forced his head to trun around and he saw a lifeless body lie there. It was dat, his skull had been smashed by the airvent. "..." siayan couldn't say anything, he got back into the air vent with the chain around him. "We have to hurry....."
-
Kira stood frozen at the sight of Dat's body by the air vent. She couldn't move, she just stood there taking it all in, it became a realization to her that maybe they wouldn't go out of this alive... "If they got him easily, how will we ever stand a chance??" she thought out loud.
-
Himmen turned his head and whimpered lightly, looking away from the deceased. He gulped and began to speak again. "Jus.... Just shut up. Lets go!" He nudged Kira and kept his gaze away from Dat's body. His ears perked and he began to growl lowly, regaining his tough guy stance. "Hurry up!" He barked impatiently.
-
Lectin looked shocked at Dats dead body. But he had not the time to wonder how it happened, his main goal was to get out of here. Lectin tried climbing up the chain Siyan was holding on to, and eventually managed to make it up to the top. "Where do you think this air vent leads to?" he asked. Considering what happened to Dat, it was probably better to not ask questions and get out ASAP.
-
Kira flinched and after Lectin made it into the vent, she grabbed the rope and began to climb up the cold chain. After what Himmen said, she made sure to not go up slowly and get inside the air vent. She remained silent as they all waited for the last member to join them.
-
Himmen climbed rather quickly up the chain, growling lowly with determination and climbing in quickly. "C'mon, go! If Siyan can bring down this thing alone then what the hell do you think all of us being in it at the same time'll do?!" He barked at them rudely, ears high.
-
Another explosion shakes the ground, and Siyan holds the walls of the airvents trying to maintain his ballence, and makeing sure no one falls out. "Alright let's go" Siyan said in a paincked voice as he trys not to break down and cry. He starts to move towards the darkness in the airvents. He felt an ill feeling comeing over him, he could hear some noises comeing from under him. 'Why am I the leader... why am I here... why...' he held the tear forming in his eye from falling, he was just glad that it was to dark for anyone to see his face clearly.
-
Lectin was listening in to the conversation below. He could tell that one of the party was not happy to be there. He heard another person start talking. "Regrets? What do you have to regret?" Lectin had no idea what they were talking about. Did it have to do with the one who captured them?
-
Kira followed behind Siyan, hoping that no one goes after them now, after they've gotten so far as to escaping the chamber. She listened to the other people talk, but didn't say a word mainly out of fear. She focused on what she had to do now in order to escape and that was it.
-
He growled loudly, feeling the light burn of the whip's lash which had been made a few moments ago on his back. He began to go faster and push lightly at Kira to attempt to make her go faster, before stopping and coughing loudly, panting lightly and wheezing gently. After almost a minute he stopped and began to push again, keeping his lips shut.
-
As they pressed onward, they could fell the air pressure increase, it was getting hot, and Siyan felt sweat roll down his checks. A small dim light was shining through where the air vents must of been exhausting all the heat. As he approached the vent he couldn't make out naything, and the voices before seemed to of been almost overtaken by the noise of the escaping gases. "This may be a way out" he pressed his face closer, "but I can not see anything... we will decide as a group as the course of action that we should take" he arms where trembling at the thought of what could be on the outside, but his heart was racing at the thought of what could be on the other end if they turned back. "I say we see what's on the other side..." he shouted, and then felt odd for speaking so loudly, all the tension was starting to get to him.
-
Lectin wasn't sure. "I have a bad feeling about this. Maybe we should turn back." Lectin knew the rising heat meant something. But he didn't know for sure if going back was a better idea.
-
Himmen growled loudly at the comment and turned back to Lectin. "If you wanna stay in this rat hole, be my guest. But if anyone's going in, they'd better decide pretty soon! Now make up your damned mind!" He yelled to Siyan, knowing that time was limited heavily on their decisions at the moment. The sweat ran down his cheek as he gulped loudly, breathing in the dry and heated air, beginning to pant from the heat lightly.
-
"Let's go to the other side, we already gotten this far now we can't go back!" The heat was starting to make her feel weak, as sweat was running down on her face. She knew they all wanted to leave this air vent as quickly as possible and this was the only way.
-
The decision was decide, they where going to move forward. Siyan felt his heart race as he to the bars in his hands and pushed forward. The sounds of the rusted metal tearing is almost completely over taken by the sound of Siyans own heart. As he pushed for the final time, an eminence light shined in temporally blinding him. As the light lost its strength, Siayn could see far, there where mixtures of all diffrent kind of colors on the ground. The air was also diffrent, it had an odd taste, he could almost fell as if it was full of water. He approached the ending of the airvent, and he could see that they have been at an angle this whole time, they where only like two feet off the ground. He placed his foot on the ground, and it was a lot diffrent then on the inside. It was soft, gray and there where little grains of it every where, as he looked more out ward. He could see that there was some kind of "water spill" that covered the ground, he thinks that this was called an ocean, its quite large, but it doesn't seem to go all around so it must be a sea. He. Saw things that where called trees beyond that, but that's all he could see, the rest was covered by the trees. He didn't know where he was any longer, "I don't think we are in the mainframe any longer.." siyan said as he took another step forward. He turned back and waited for the rest of the party to leave.
-
Lectin had never been in a place like this. It was kind of like visiting another planet, another planet with lots of weird liquids and grey stuff. Lectin took some of the grey stuff and tried identifying it by sniffing. The result was him sneezing loudly. It was not a feeling Lectin felt before. "This is all new to me," he said while still looking around. "But at least we are free of that prison."
-
Kira slowly scanned around the area, with a puzzled look on her face. 'Where are we...?' she thought to herself as she took a few steps forward besides Siyan. "At least we don't have to worry about the man in the black coat...?" she said, hoping that it would be true.
-
He was silent after he got out before Lectin. He shut his eyes tight at the blinding light of day in this world of heat and green. His fur was pitch black, making him uncomfortably hot. "Urgh..." He let out, falling onto his rear when he leaned back. He was blinded for a few minutes more than the rest, eventually squinting at them. "Is this hell?" He said, voice toned with attitude.
-
Siyan Couldn't help but let a huge smile cover his face. "..We are finally out of that hell hole, we are finally free!" He started to run towards the water, as a child he often wondered what it would be like to swim, he also remember reading that some people are natural swimmers, he hoped he was one. As he ran closer, he saw something out of the coroner of his eye, as he turned to see what it was something grabbed him from behind and threw him on the ground, as he tried to pull himself up, he saw that every one else was also being bagged. The last thing he saw was a black bad covering his face.
"Nooooo!!!" He yelled as he screamed noticing that he wasn't in the open any longer, he noticed that he was in some kind of shorts, it was made out of some material that he has never seen, it was soft. He scanned the room, he wasn't chained down, and there didn't appear to be any one watching him, and the floor seemed to be made out of the same material that the ground was made out of earlyer. He looked up and also noticed that the tow guys from earlyer where also in the room, the appeared to be asleep, he also noticed they where in nothing but the same odd shorts that he had on.
"One of you is a wake, please come with me, we wish you no harm, and we must apologise for how some of our men acted earlyer." A large deer said, he was in the same material as Siyan and the others where, except he has a robe, and it appeared to be colored very beautifully. Siyan wasn't sure what was going on but, he was sure that the nice boy act would end if her refused, so he thought the best thing to do is go, he had no choice, so he might as well go in peacefully. There was a small deer who was waiting for Siyan on the outside of the woven door. She also had a robe, but it had little to no color, she was shorter then the other one, and she seemed a bit scared.
"Please come with me" she said as she pushed her hand out as if to signal Siyan to start walking. He began walking until they got to another woven door, he noticed that most of theses 'buildings', where made of this thing that he think is called wood, and what looks to be fabric, they where small and close together. As he was lead in, what looked to be a hallway, he was asked to sit and wait for everyone else, he nodded his head gently, and the girl left.
-
Lectin was unsure what to think of the Deer. All he could think of was that he was back were he started. He looked down and noticed his clothes were different. He was in some type of shorts with a material that was unfamiliar to him. Although Lectin didn't know whether to trust the Deer, he went along and decided to go follow Siyan and the Deer, hoping it would come off as gentlemanly.
-
Himmen couldn't resist to the sudden ambush, blinded by the light. He'd never adjusted to the artificial lights from before, and the natural light hurt his sensitive eyes, making his pupil almost a noticibly darker tone. He squinted his eyes a crack but shut them tight when the light filled the gap. He sat there and breathed deeply, clenching his claws onto the ground. Afraid to open his eyes. After he heard Lectin stand, though, he opened his eyes just in time to see him leave, so he endured and followed.
-
Kira opened her eyes as she got up, looking around the area. She noticed that she was also in a different set of clothes as well. 'Where are the others?' she thought to herself as she began to panic. "Young lady, your friends are safe do not worry." A deer came into the room. Kira was about to say something until the deer interrupted her. "No questions now, follow me..." he said in a calm voice. Kira hesitated at first, but walked out the door with him.
-
((make sure to check the ooc))
Siyan was playing with his wing when he noticed the other people come in. "Hey.." he said in a pitiful voice.
"Please come" the larger dear from earlier said, Siyan and the others followed him into a room, they where sat infront of a large old dear. He was puffing a pipe, he had a robe on, but this one was a silky black color, with a white rim around it.
"Thank you" the large old dear said in a deep voice. The other dear bowed and left, the old dear adjusted himself and gazed at the four new comers that sat in front of him. "Let me first say, I'm am sorry for how our men acted when they saw you."
"Who are you.." Siyan asked in a shaky voice. The old dear raised his hand and took a puff from his pipe.
"Please allow me to finish before you ask any questions," Siyan nodded, "You will learn of this place, and of theses people as you become one with this culture, we do not wish to harm you, we do wish to bring you into our society, but we will not force you, and we will not put our self in harms way, If you try to harm us, you may regret it." He stood up, and took another hit from his pipe. He walked over to a wall, it had four robes hanging. He took another hit from his pipe before he starred to speak, "The robes signify many things, they signify your place, how hard you work, but the basic thing they show, is that you are apart of this culture." He took another hit from his pipe as he pointed behind the group, four individuals stood there, a dear that lead Siyan before, next to her was a large blue snow Leopard, she was muscular in a faltering way, but her faced showed that she was still young. On the other side of them where was a medium height wolf, he was all black, and his green eyes gave a felling of sadness when you looked at him, next to him was a red fox, he was the only one who was smiling, and he seemed a bit over joyed for what ever reason. The old man turned and left the room after he took one more hit form his pipe, as he left, the large dear from earlier came in, he looked at the four new comers and then at the other four.
"These will be your new friends, you will be staying with them, and they will be helping you around the village. You may pick who you partner up with, the dear to the left is Sasha, she is young, but very resourceful, the girl next to her is Nilou, she is strong, and will break down the strongest of our men" the girl chuckled at this, "next to her, is Tou, he is a very nice archer, and last, Son, he is the friendliest person is the village, and he is very optimistic, he is a very observant person. Ok, so now its up to you who you want to be partnered up with"
-
Kira scanned the face of the new four people, and then looked at the others besides her. 'Who should my partner be....?' Kira thought to herself as she stepped forward. She remembered what the elder had said about these four strangers. "Umm... I would like Son to be my partner." she decided.
-
Lectin looked at Tou with sort of a sadness on his face. He didn't know why he was sad, but Lectin felt some of his sympathy. "Umm... hello?" He asked Tou. "My name's Lectin. ...Why are you sad?" Lectin was always looking for knowledge. To him, learning something about someone else was enjoyable.
-
Himmen stared a bit at the wolf, seeing a bit of himself in the wolf. He looked away though, to the fox and then at the women. He took special glance to the deer and then took another glance to the feline. He thought about which decision he could make while the other two picked the two men. His eyes kept narrowed on the two women, and he keep thinking for a bit. He was careful about his choice, and didn't pick the blue feline because he wouldn't have a chance arguing with her. Not to say he had any advantages over the deer; it's just it seemed like it'd be a bit more fair of a fight. "I wish to partner with Mademoiselle Sasha, if that would be fine with her." He spoke quietly, slurring a bit of French to give a slight attempt at making his voice sound a bit less dark than it was, which worked to make him seem a bit more optimistic.
-
Nilou chuckled as she wrapped her arm around him, "I knew I get this cutie", Siyan blushed a little as he turned his face-
Son jumped up and hugged Kira, "woot! a new friend"-
Sasha gazed at the jackal that picked her, she sighed as she walked over to him, "wouldn't the gentlemen thing to do is give your name"-
Tou looked at the small rabbit, 'Dang, a friendly little thing..', "I'm,fine... I see you where the only one who had enough respect to give your name..thank you for that... nice to.. er eh... meet you..."-
"Well now that you guys got your partners, why don't you guys take them to your place, then you guys can become more aquainted, we will send for you guys when we have the task" the large dear said as he started to walk out.-
Siyan looked at Nilou, "I guess I should introduce myself, er umm, I'm Siyan... Siyan Basin" "O so you have one of those, whatchamacalams, umm last names, my mama talked about how in the old day they had them things" Nilou to Siyans hand, "Come on, I don't think mama would like it if I didn't take you home soon. Nilou took Siyans hand and she lead him out, the walked until they got to a small house looking thing, "Mama I'm home Nilou yelled, "Well its about time, her I thought I finally done got rid of you" an old dear said, she came in with a walking stick, she had an all white robe, it looked to be made out of the same marital as the old mans. "No you old gramp I'm still kicking", the old women laughed and gave her a hug. "I didn't know that a dear could have a cat, that's something I've never seen" Siyan said as he gave a pitty smile, when he looked up he saw sadness on Nilou's face, "Now you look at me you! You come in my house, you don't greet me, and the you run your mouth and talk of what you don't know," the women began to cough, "hey chill, I was making a comment you old b-" Nilou punched Siyan in his face knocking him on the floor and out cold. "You didn't have to go and do that", "mama.... he was talking to you disrespectfully", "I know.. put him on the bench and go fetch my tools" the old women said as she walked into a different room.-
Sasha looked at Tou, then at the other two people, "Do you guys have any questions? or are we good to leave.."-
-
Lectin knew Tou couldn't hid his sadness. But Lectin didn't want to get on his bad side, so he simply said "If you don't want to tell me, that's fine." Lectin still wanted to know more about Tou, so he asked him, "Say, where do you live. I would like the meet your Family." Lectin then heard what Sasha said and stated "No, I'm good." It was obvious Lecting wanted to know more about Tou, and was eagre to leave, too.
-
Himmen kept his muzzle down and blushed under his black fur. "I apologize..." He said quietly yet still audibly. "M'names Himmen." His blue eyes looked to the floor. They were slightly bloodshot, and he could still feel the whip's mark on his back. He looked up to Sasha, who was a bit taller than him. "Uhh.. My manners are different than yours.... Less formal..." He went on, "So I am sorry if I seem... Disrespectful..."
-
"Hello..." A small smile crept on Kira's face as she hugged Son back. She let go from the hug and looked at him, "I'm Kira." she said in a friendly matter. His positive vibe made her almost forget everything that happened previously.
-
"Follow me.." Tou said as he began to exit the building, as Lectin, and Himmen began to follow Tou, Sasha saw all the wounds all over his body. Sasha garbed Himmen's hand and looked at Tou, "You take him, I need to get him to the mother, he has wounds all over him, before Himmen could argue she began to drag him, and soon they where out the building.
'I can't belive she left me alone with this guy...', Tou thought to him self as he looked at Lectin. "I don't think we should head to the house yet, I'm not sure what eh... Sasha wants us to go yet, umm.... what do you er eh...want to do in the mean time.."-
"Well I guess we should be going hun, bye every one" Son said with out taking in account that pretty much every one else has already left. Son takes Kira's hand and began to walk. After they walked to what seemed to be the out skirts of the village, they got to and old run down looking hut. "Welcome to your new home" Son said as he let her inside, there wast much to look at, maybe one room, and what looks to be a wannabe wall. "Sorry, when I heard that someone would be staying with me, I tried my best to make another room. But your a lady, I couldn't have you in that death trap, so you can have my room"-
Sasha pulled Himmen into the same building that Siyan went to not to long ago, "Mother Widow, one of the new comers is badly wounded, and-" The old women poped out of now where and started to examine Himmen, "Yea he isn't the only one now" the old women said as she signaled at Siyan laying out cold on the bench.
-
"It's not that bad... We don't need t-" He silenced himself and layed his eyes upon Siyan. "It'll heal in time, It's not as bad as it looks..." He insisted on, stopping quietly. He gulped softly and tried to be polite as he spoke gently. "What happened to Siyan..?"
-
It was obvious what Lectin wanted, but he didn't want to upset Tou. "Umm..." Lectin started, trying to think of something. Lectin didn't have his book anymore, he left that back at the prison cell, and besides that, reading really wasn't a group activity. "...Know any games you like to play?" Lectin finally asked. This was mostly an ice breaker, he would get Tou to partake in something he enjoys, then maybe he would feel better about telling Lectin about himself. ...But it was probably better to tell Tou about himself, first. But he was hoping he would eventually get to that in good time.
-
"Thanks..." a soft smile formed on her face as she blushed. When they were walking to Son's house, Kira noticed the strange environment and wondered why they were never introduced to this new world. Why they were confined in that darkened, cold, and closed up place that they called home...
-
"No....you?"-
The old women laughed a little at Himmen's question, "Well I'm sure you know, my girl is more the strong enough to knock a little bat like this clean out", "Just watch what you say around Nilou, she can be sensative" Sasha said as she pulled Himmen into another room. "Take off all of your clothing and get into the water" Sasha pointed at what looked to be a small hot spring.
-
It was at that time that Lectin thought "screw it," and started telling Tou about himself. "I love reading. I have a huge library of books at home, and I've read most of them 3 times through. It is the best way for me to have fun when I am bored, because it lets me travel to other worlds. What do you like to do for fun?"
-
Himmen nodded quietly, following Sasha. Doing as told, he slipped out of his shorts and turned his back to hide his front from Sasha. He gulped and approached the spring, biting his lip. "No fear..." He whispered to himself, slipping into the spring and staying still once in. A light growl was heard as he stared at the water he was in, followed by a high whine which he silenced quickly, looking to Sasha and attempting to ignore the water in his wounds, stinging at the sensitive flesh.
-
Kira looked at Son, "Why are we all being partner up?" she asked him. Glancing down at the set of clothes she was wearing, she was curious as to what all of this meant, what her and the others were into now, and when they would be able to wear the set of robes that everyone else has.
-
"I'm personaly not one for fun, but I'm curious... what is a book... and what dose it mean to read?"-
Sasha as much as she hated to admit it, she was a little disappointed by no side show, "I'll be back in a few, let your body soak, and if you need anything, call for Nilou" Sahsa said as she left the room, "Mother Widow, I will be leaveing him for now, I need to go make sure Tou hasn't killed his new friend" Sahsa said as she left the house and headed back to tou and Lectin. -
"Well, for one thing, we all need some new friends here and there" he said with a smile, "and the other thing, hummm.. there is multiple reasons, for one we will be helping you when you receive your introductory mission, and we are also here to watch over you" He said as he looked at her with a grin.
-
Kira's ears went up a bit. "Introductory mission... what do we have to do for that??" she asked Son. For the tone of his voice when he said that, she didn't know whether it would be like a walk on the park or bring difficulty upon them.
-
Himmen nodded and watched Sasha walk out, and listened to the pair's light part of talking while he relax in the water. Anything to get the water off his mind, and that was their speech. He leaned back, breathing deeply and using the acute hearing sense that his feral ancestors had endowed his kind. While most had dissolved over time, he could the next room perfectly.
-
Lectin was shocked at what Tou said, as if he was being possessed by an evil spirit. But Lectin didn't want to be rude, so he kindly told them. "Well, there are these blocks made of paper wih hundreds, maybe thousands of layers. And on those layers are thousands and thousands of words. And like a door, a book works on a hinge, made of the same material the cover is made of. ...Well actually it is the cover. That's called a book. And to read is to look at those words and imagine the words. You can't just look at them, you have to register all those words in your mind. More often than not, all those words tell a story that give you the illusion of being in a whole different world. Like space, read a space book, and it will be like being in space. Like pirates, read a pirate book. Like fantasy places, read a fantasy book. Maybe an old western theme is more you, read a western book. ...You got all that?"
-
"My.. head" Siyan said as he held his palms firmly on his temples, "it feels like its pulsing." The old women walked over to Siyan when she noticed that he was staring to get up. "Well look who rises from the grave, sorry for how my daughter acted, I guess you'll learn how to speak". Siyan wanted to go off on the old women, but he didn't want to see how long before it would be that he would be taking a dirt nap. "Go to that room over there, and go take a rest in the water, and yes if your that dumb, take your cloths off" Siyan got up and started to walk over to where the room was, as he started to walk in there, he noticed that Himmen was in there. He quickly moved back, and went over to the old women, "Miss I can't get in there there's another guy in there" "And? you almost make it seem like he will eat your had if you went in there" Siyan realized this was going no where, he went back in there and looked down as he went in, "Umm... don't look I'm coming in" He said as he took his cloths off, and tried using his wings to cover his self up as he got in.-
Tou was starting to become annoyed, he didn't understand this little rabbits jargon and it was starting to get at him. Luckily Sasha came in before he exploded, "Come, I found a place where I think we can stay, its off on the out skirts of town, near where Son is, but don't worry we will at least live in a decent area" Sasha said as she waited for them to move. Tou moved, with out even saying anything to Lectin, he as hoping, that he would soon forget about this whole thing. -
"Well silly for multiple reasons, we first need to see how fit you are, and all your skills, seconded we have to see if you are willing to become one of us, we can't just take in any stragglers, the only reason your probably hear is because we accidentally abducted you... and by we I didn't mean me !! I meant our clan"-
-
Lectin noticed an annoyance in Tou's face. Maybe he noticed the annoyance in his own face when he heard that he didn't know what a book was. Maybe it was best he kept his mouth shut for now. So he did that, and followed Tou and Sasha to their new home. Lectin still wondered what it would be like, there.
-
Himmen chuckled and closed his eyes, "Hey man, it ain't like a bath... Its more like oneadem hot tubs the uppers had..." He spoke gently to Siyan, very relaxed in the warm water. He murred gently and slumped a bit, breathing deeply.
-
Kira nodded, "What about the others? Are they alright too?" she asked, as she yawned a little. 'Didn't realized I was so tired' Kira thought to herself as she went over to the bed and sat on the corner of it.
-
"Why wouldn't they be, why don't you go to sleep, I'm sure you'll need it"-
Tou, Lectin, and Sasha soon arrived to there house, it was large, and spacious. The walls where made out a stone material, with some kind of material made for a ceiling. "There are four room's you may chose your own, beond the four rooms is the dining hall, this is the living quarters. Tou please go get Himmen, I'm sure he would be done soon," Sasha watched as tou left, she turned and looked at lectin "I'm sorry but I couldn't help but over here you talking to Tou, what is this thing you call a book, and paper, and words, it almost sounds to me like what the elders tells us of"-
Siyan just listened to what Himmen said, he couldn't figure this guy out, in the holding cells, he came off as a bad ass with a side of mama issues, but then earlier he seemed to be a eloquent gentlemen, now he spoke with some kind of, ummm I guess southern accents. "So whats you story" he finally asked.
-
Now Lectin was starting to get peeved. Was he the only one on the planet that knew what a book was? He ultimately decided (Screw it, they can find out themselves) and went in to look for a room. Lectin doesn't usually get angry, but books have always been near and dear to him. He looked at the first room, which seemed kind of average. It was a little dusty, but not too bad. The second room was much like the first one. But the third room didn't have a window. It was dark and gloomy. It also had a candle, while the other rooms had lanterns. It also had a drippy ceiling. Finally, he looked at the 4th room, which seemed beautiful. It was well lit, the bed looked the comfiest out of the four, there was a dresser, two windows, even a target on the wall for shooting rocks at with a slingshot, which was on the dresser. Must be a good form of amusement around here. "...I will stay here," Lectin said, surprisingly while heading back to the third room. Many may not have gotten his decision to go with the dark room, but in fact, Lectin liked darkness at times. He also likes candles, and likes reading under them. There were no books, but oh well, you do what you have to. And besides that, the bed in that room wasn't all bad. It still had a pillow and a blanket. And the mattress wasn't too uncomfortable. "Yeah, this will do," he said out loud.
-
His eyes widened for a second and he took a deep breath. "Well, y'know I come from the frame...." He spoke softly, "Like you. I am what can be called a pyro, and have dangerous habits. My, habits, are scorned upon, so I try to be normal. I try to fit in, I try to show affection. Yet at the same time I wish not to be assumed about; so I give the mean person in the frame, it's just up here.... I feel free, man." He took another breath and stretched himself. "Dunno if you'd understand, pretty sure you could, 'cuz most people in the frame don't get a fair chance. My parents tried to fix me, took me to a fancy doc... Gave me pills, which I refused. It got toward the point where they..... F-forced them... Onto me.." He began to blush and shy, taking his deep breaths which slowly shrank. "So, I'd be perfect.... But them pills had a nasty side effect, I tell ya... Doc said something about poles of me...I forget the rest, but apparently it means I'm never gonna belong." He made a smirk and adjusted again. "I'm fine, though. I don't need to belong anywhere to fit in." He said it with a sharp tone, almost prideful.
-
"Yea..." Kira agreed as she laid on the bed. She wanted to say more, but she couldn't seem to make a connection. Not even with the others, because of the lifestyle she came from. She always had to be careful of what she said or else something might slip and affect her family.
-
Sasha was a little thrown by how the rabbit accted, 'that was more then rude' she thought to her self. She decied it was also time for her to go to sleep, it will be a long day tomarow. -
Tou came in the bathing room, "Come, time to go..." is all he said before he turned and left. "I guess ill get out too" Siyan let out a large yawn, "I could use naother nap anyways"
-
"I wonder where Tou is," Lectin thought as he was lying in his bed. "I'm sure he will be back soon. Hmm... writing on the ceiling. ...The Plants Are Alive? ...Must be one of those silly sayings."
-
Himmen was quick to get out, resisting a hard temptation to shake himself dry. He slipped into the shorts and followed after Tou quickly, ears a bit perked and eyes curious. He had forgotten about Siyan, and became focused on following the strange character.
-
Tou lead Himmen to the house, " The two rooms on the left are aviable, pick one and we will soon be to rest, Lectin I advise you to do the same, tomarow we will be off" Tou said, makeing sure both of them heared him. Tou waited for himmen to pick a room, and then went in the other.
-
"Don't worry, Tou. I got my room right here." Lectin was still looking up at the ceiling. The more he looked, the more writing he saw. Although none of it really meant anything to him, with quotes like "You'll never find where I hid the forest pie" and "2 + 2 makes a really big boulder," bit he had fun reading them none the less.
-
Himmen thanked Tou briefly and chose the first room, bidding the others a good night quietly. He layed on the bed after putting the lantern out. He quietly layed still, on his side and examining his wrists. Moving the fur on them to see their scars. He faced the wall and sighed gently; he wasn't going to sleep that night.
-
When morning came, the outsiders where woken up by there respected helpers, and brought to an open area. The elder, along with that older deer from earlier was there, "Friends I'm sure you you are wondering as to why you are here, I asked my self that many times to" The old man laughed to him self. "Here there are four different weapons, you each may pick one, there is a bow and arrow, a spear, a knife, and an axe." Siyan thought that he didn't want to be stuck with the crazy overly powerful perosn again, "Can I have the spear!" Siyan almost yelled, the old man looked at him and then chuckled. "My friend, you may all get which ever there are four of each, but you each may only get one is all," "Soryy-" "It is fine, you will all get your assignment after you chose your weapon"
-
Himmen tiredly listened, wiping his red eyes. He had snatched three hours of sleep, having bad insomnia. He thought carefully. "I'll take the knife, please... And if you don't mind, sir, why do we need these items?" The knife was logical to Himmen, quick and quiet; aswell as small and light. He took a knife and ran his finger down the flat side gently.
-
Lectin didn't sleep all that well, but it wasn't too bad. Once he got to the open area, he looked through the weapons and picked up the axe. He then swung it downward in an arch, and managed to dig it deep into the ground. "I think I'll take this one," he said. Lectin wasn't much for weapons, but it was sure to come in handy somehow.
-
The choice of weapon was difficult for Kira. She waited for the others to claim their weapon until there was only one left, the bow and arrow. She walked and quietly took the weapon. Kira was uncertain on how to use it, as she examined it.
-
The old deer looked at the younger one and nodded, "ok, now you each will have a mission you each will have to do, the bow and arrow, will be a scout, she must go check out a party that has been scavenging around here, and figure out if they are friendly or not. The spear, must go get some feral Buffalo of to the east, the knife will follow the bow and arrow, and act as a scout too. The axe must go to a small destroyed city up ahead, and cut up some of the wood blocks, but be careful there are rumors that a group might wander there, your partners will follow you, but they are under orders, not too act, unless asked." The old man tunred and left, while the younger deer stood there, "if you have no questions, you need to go now", Siyan looked at his partner, 'I'm sure she could throw a Buffalo down with one swing' he though to him self.
-
(...Destroyed village?" Lectin though. (Oh dear. ...What happened? ...Maybe I should ask Tou.) Lectin went towards Tou and asked him "Where are we supposed to go? Where is the destroyed village?"
-
" It's south from here, past the buffalo roaming land "
-
"Alright, let's go then," Lectin said, while heading the direction Tou had said to go. "Say, Tou. Could you tell me more about the destroyed village?"
-
"It was destriyed during the great war, we have been useing it for wood"
-
"So................" Himmen said softly, looking at Sasha and then Kira. "What do we know about the scavengers...?" The silence was a bit awkward for him, because he knew little of the area's inhabitants or the actual area itself, and his eyes were still a bit blinded by the sunlight.
-
Kira was just as lost as Himmen was, she didn't know where to search for any of the scavenger's whereabouts. She looked at Son, to see if he had an answer as to what Himmen asked.
