Once, the Garland System knew peace, under the quiet leadership of the Tau Empire. The four planets in the system served The Greater Good to a great extent, and when communication with the system's first planet mysteriously dropped, that was when the suspicions arose. At first, the Tau leadership, the Ethereals expected the planet had been overrun by the local Feral Orks, it's not unlikely, considering their numbers. The truth could not be any darker, the malicious forces of Chaos were summoned to the planet, by the heretical human population on the world, and the planet, was transformed into a blasted hellscape. The Tau soldiers and civilians on the planet, were used as sacrifices to the Dark Gods. The Forces of Chaos then gathered their strength, for their next prize. But then the system's third planet, Garland III, reported meteor like objects impacting the surface without warning, and then the next news from Garland III, was that a massive Ork WAAAAAGH!! had landed in the planet in their primitive drop ships, called Roks. Garland III is currently still under Tau control, but is losing territory rapidly to the increasingly large WAAAAGH!
The Tau Empire's trouble grew further still, as an expeditionary fleet from the Imperium of Man, had incited a rebellion on Garland II, and the human population, along with Imperial forces, have overtaken most of the planet. The only planet the Tau seem to fully control is Garland IV, the capital world of the system. Looking to retake the system for the Greater Good, the Tau Empire sent the Fire Caste, led by Shas' O Kas to retake the system and remove the threats to the Empire.
As the four factions meet, war will break out quite quickly, and the casualties will escalate into more alarming numbers.
Will you assist the Nefarious Forces of Chaos in their hidden plan for the Garland system, or fight with the Ork WAAAAGH! To find the best fight ever.
Will you help spread the Imperial Truth to the Xenos and Heretics in the Imperium's mighty armies, or will you fight back the foes of the Greater Good?
GNN: Galactic News Network (current battles to be fought)

The Tau are preparing an offensive on Ta'Navag and a defensive against the Ork invaders on Garland III in the countryside.
The Forces of Chaos on Garland I are cleaning out some Tau expeditionary forces and are gathering their strength.

"Wahahaha! Look at 'em all...all 'dose shiny bitz. Shame weze gonna break so much of 'em." Knawgril laughed from his position far out of Tau artillery range. He watched them set up their defensive line through a pair of binoculars he had stolen from another Tau. Of course it was different now...what with the mini-rokkitz he could fire from it. The rokkitz were pretty much useless in a real battle, but good fun to blast a gretchin in the behind with.
Knwagril looked over his shoulder to some of his boyz. "Dat battlewagon set up yet? I don't want dis fight to end before weze can get in choppin' disdance" He was looking at one boy in paticular, by the name of Gurt. Knawgril had forced him to work as his personal driver and was in charge of Knawgril's Battlewagon. "Well? Iz it or ain't it?"

Chronin stood at the first wall seperating the city from the invading Tau freaks. He only had about five other marines standing with him, as the rest were still choosing what weapons to bring into the fire-fight. "Imagine, the green skins and the traitors are gathering their forces as we have our war with the Xenos..." Chronin said to break the silence, and a marine in red armor that stood half a foot taller than him looked at him with all emotions in his voice. "True, and the Xenos are probably thinking the same thing too, but we're not here to debate or discuss..." Chronin sighed in reluctant agreement as he walked away from the others, only waiting for declaration of 'inbound hostiles'.

Entaru strode by the Artillery Line as he went about inspecting the Basilisks. They were in good order as far as he could see but the men in charge of them were a tad...lethargic. He stayed silent as he turned away and headed for his HQ. Inside was a conglomerate of officers and troops. In the corner was a commisar, trying to be inconspicuous and failing badly. With barely a glance to the corner of the room, the commisar nodded to Entaru and headed out for the line of Basilisks. Suddenly a gunshot was heard and the Basilisk crews began scrambling about. He hadn't killed anyone...but he took the ear of one of them clean off with his bolt pistol. Entaru smiled a bit but it quickly faded as he turned to the other officers.
"Report..."
"Front line is secured and ready sir! We have a 3 platoons of guardsmen as well as a handful of Adeptus Asartus at the ready!"
Entaru nodded "And the second?"
"As is the second sir! We have sniper teams and long range rocketeers set up to help hold the first line as well as some heavy weapon crews in the unlikely event that they get through the first line. A few Adeptus Asartus are holding down the second line as well."
Entaru nodded again as the commisar walked back in. "Artillery line is prepped and ready, Commander. All twelve Basilisks are ready to fire at a moments notice. We also have a handful of Grey Knights at our disposal...they will be acting as your bodyguards for the battle."
"Thank you, Commisar." Entaru sat down and looked to the officers. "Those Xenos will think twice about attacking the Imperium after today...may the Emperor smile on us all."

The Tau were busy gathering the last of their equipment and troops for the battle. The Imperial trenches were going to be hit from three different areas and dismantled in a well thought out and planned assault.
"Commander Shas'O!" A firewarrior called out before making a salute on his breastplate. The Commander was busy issuing orders to a Stealth suit team (Sgt Cuddles) to begin the attack by suddenly striking the left flank of the Imperial line.
She then ordered other Stealth Suit teams to hit the other flanks of the Imperial front line.
"The Imperial's have an artillery position armed and ready, but it's far behind their defensive line Madam!"
"Noted, inform the Hammerhead gunships that once we're in position, make a beeline straight for the artillery. Inform our Fire Warriors to make ready, and have them attack their designated targets, if they took out their targets, fire at will." The commander relayed to her personal communications soldier. The trooper saluted once again and made ready to relay the orders to the troops.
The Shas'O zoomed in with her scoped helmet optics and eyed the Imperial front line.
"The Standard Gue'la troopers and their barbarous Space Marine allies... it will be a tough fight dislodging an enemy so used to defending."

Gurt swung around hurriedly, smacking a gretchin' across the head with a half-pipe... "Itz a good 'un Boss.... Dis baby be ready ta smash 'em!" He gave a mad chuckle, turning back to the engine of the battle wagon, smacking the same gretchin across the head again...
With a hefty pull of his wrench, Gurt continued to tinker with the battlewagon engine... "Dis bit goes 'ere... WE add a bit 'ere.... Da big juicy box that feeds the big 'ot to da exhausts goes ere.... Hurhur! Dis is gonna be a fast one..."
"All Hammerhead pilots report to stations, all Hammerhead pilots report to stations... this is not a drill, i repeat, this is not a drill!"
The Intercoms buzzed throughout the Tau positions, as Tau fire caste pilots scrambled to find their vehicles... Shas'vre Tel'vani jumped up onto her Hammerhead, running a hand down it's sleek armoured hull... "Kor'la... has she had that gyrostabaliser refitted?" The Earth caste engineer below her nodded hurriedly, instructing several drones to load new railgun rounds into the hammerhead... Tal'vani nodded appreciatively, and jumped into the cockpit...
Strapping herself firmly into the confined space, Tal'vani pulled on a small headset, immediately diagnostics started to scroll past her left eye... "Tel'va, you good back there?" The co-pilot behind her nodded the affirmative... "Okay... cycling engines now..."
Tapping the touch screen laid out before her, Tel'vani quickly brought the grav-engines up to fifty percent capacity... A dull humming started to buil up, as the Hammerhead Gunship raised up from the ground, now hovering around five metres of the ground....
"Engines are green.... Ready to check munitions and Drone targeting systems... these foul orks will taste my Railgun submunitions today...""

Reno stood behind the Stealth team he was in as his father, the leader of it, was talking to Commander Shas'O. When he was done he turned to the team, which was four men including Reno. "Alright men, we have our orders. We'll be kicking this whole thing off. Now lets get into position!" "Yes, sir!" said the team in unison. Reno's father went off followed by the rest of the team to their position.

Rio walked down a shelled out urban street, a few Possessed Chaos Marines running ahead of her. "You know, you can always pitch in to the fight, Miss Rio..." said an Orangish Red fox that was following beside Rio on her left. "Yeah but I just had my nails done." Just then a squad of Firewarriors burst out of a house just ahead of Rio to the right. They shot down the Chaos Marines from before and surrounded Rio. "Don't move!" "Why would I move? That might make me break a nail." "Miss Rio, you've gotten us into quite a mess." "Oh hush now, Caldicot, all will be fine." "Stop talking!" Rio raised her hands to the sides and shot several tendrils from her hands which impaled the warriors in the face. She retracted them and looked at her nails. "Oh poo...I broke a nail after all..." Calico sighed heavily and looked at Rio. "I don't know whether I've been cursed or blessed to be assigned to you, Miss Rio..." "Talk like that earns you back rubbing duties when this is all over." "Er-...Yes, Miss Rio..."

Knawgril was about to speak when he noted increased activity in the Tau lines. "Who-oh! It betta be fast enuff, cuz they seez us now!" Knawgril waddled over to the battlewagon as fast as his Mega Armor legs would carry him. "GIT IN DA BATTLEWAGON BOYZ!!!! DEM GREYSKINZ NOES WEZE 'ERE NOW!" Hopping into the battlewagon he shouted to the remaining orks who were to travel behind the battlewagon with a kustom megaphone.
"BURNA BOYZ! YOUZE READY TO ROAST!?!?"
A large group of orks lifted their flaming weapons into the air. "WAAAAAAAAAGGHHH!!!"
"MEKBOYZ!!! DAT BANESWORD FINGY WORKIN'!?!?"
A ramshackle Baneblade roared to life and began pouring thick black smoke out of its new smokestacks. A faint noise could be heard inside as orks scrambled to open up the tank's hatch. Finally one ork popped out. "Waaaa-ACK!!!!" The ork suddenly dropped back in as his boss, a Big Mek, yanked him in and poked out of the hatch. "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHH!!!"
"HEH-HAH. AN ORK AFTA ME OWN 'ART. A'RITE...HOW BOUT THE REST OF DA MOB!!!"
"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!" The Tau below could feel the ground rumble as the Waaagh! bellowed their warcry, stomping their feet and banging on their armor.
"A'RITE DEN!!! LETZ SKIN SUM GREYSKINZ!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!" With that, he slammed the back of the full battlewagon shut and turned to Gurt (whom he had inadvertantly grabbed and tossed into the driver's seat without realizing). "A'rite Gurt, letz show dese greyskinz wat weze 'ere for! Pretend da gashpetal iz a gretchin and STOMP IT!!! WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!"
-
Malal strode by the gory impalement of the Fire Warrior squad and noticed a Tau Pathfinder (basically scout trooper) crawling away, with his legs broken from a previous engagement.
"Please.... Gue'la... water..... please...." the Tau on the ground begged, grasping the Chaos Lord's boot in a weak grip.
"Certainly..." Malal said, and drove his Crozius into the Tau's back, the Tau screamed in pain and then died a few seconds after. "Clean up the rest of the Alien filth from the city and then gather our forces for a ceremony." He grunted as he strode by the Slaaneshi cultist who was extremely concerned with her nails.

"Stealth Team Firesword (cuddles's team) initiate the attack, we'll be right behind you" The Shas'o said in her Comm as she ordered the rest of the Tau army to begin the advance forwards. The Fire Warriors marched on, rifles raised at shoulder height, and the Vespid auxiliaries floating a few inches from the ground with their wings. The Crisis and Broadside battlesuits stomped along, each step making an indent in the ground, and the Tau hovertanks floated two feet above the ground, their weapons sweeping the area in front of them.
"New Objective Stealth Teams, place Markerlights in various Target areas, make it easier for our troops to aim and then proceed with attack." The Commander added, after finishing a diagnostic of her plasma gun.
-
Reno and his father's team went into action when the order was given. Getting close enough to the line still undetected they all started blasting, all but Reno that is. He didn't like fighting directly, his father knew that and had him separate from the team just before the attack was launched. He was sent to demolish a hardened bunker, so he tried to do just that. He crouched down at an unattended side of the bunker, placing some explosives. Luckily his father's team and the rest of everyone was a great distraction.
Meanwhile on Garland I...
Rio continued along the road not seeing anyone else to kill, so she decided to head back to base. "You lucked out, Calico, I guess you can give me a back rub after the ceremony." "Oh joy." Sighed Calico sarcastically.

Tel'vani expertly handled the controls of her hammerhead, bringing the sleek vehicle mere metres over the heads of a firewarrior squad... Her comms crackled into life as the Shas'ui of the squad gave her a scornful remark..
-kzch- "Tel'vani! I know that was you... stop buzzing over my Shas'la, they need to concentrate down here..." -kzch-
Tel'vani laughed, flicking two fingers across a touch screen and brining up the gunship sensors array... "Okay... we have large numbers of Orks charging straight towards our gunlines... several of those ramshackle vehicles are powering up as well... They truly are foolish..." Smiling she quickly brought up the drone enhanced target arrays, overhead the great railgun set atop the gunship swivelled around...
"On my mark... Firing sub munition...."
The railgun let loose a bowel-reverberating humm, followed by a sharp sizzling crack.... an electric blue streak flew into an ork mob, exploding violently, sending bodies in all directions... Inside the cockpit of the hammerhead Tel'vani gave a whoop of joy, punching the controls and bringing the hammerhead in a low dive behind a firewarrior squad... "Gotta love the railgun! Easily over eight-hundred metres!"
Gurt gave a disgruntled -URK- as he was grabbed by the boss.... knowing when to shut it however, he didnt complain, and instead just kept a hold of his half-pipe... Slamming down into the drivers seat, Gurt pulled a large lever back and looked up at the Boss...
"Roit you are Boss... put da pedal to da... da.... whateva!" He slammed a hobnailed boot into the accelerator, and the battlewagon jolted forwards with a bang, before stalling and stopping no less than a metre from where it had been...
Gurt gave a worried grunt, pulling on several levers and tapping some widgets.... cocking his head to one side he snorted... "Dont worry Boss... 'ave you there in no..." He kicked a large lever into the forwards position, and the entire battlewagon shook violently and surged forwards with a huge roar "...Tiiiiiiime!!"
-
Knawgril was tossed from his feet as the battlewagon sped forward unexpectedly and crushed a gretchin who was dumb enough to sit behind him. The orks behind the battlewagon charged forward, too engulfed by their own bloodlust to notice the blast from the railgun. Even those hit with the blast (the living ones anyways) hopped up and charged forward...one crawled due to his missing legs though.
Knawgril stood back up (unaware that there was a gretchin shaped stain on the backside of his Mega Armor) and turned to the Ork Skarboyz inside the hold. They were nearly impossible to see in the unlit holding area but their grunting made it clear that they were there. "A'rite Skarboyz, youz noes wat ta do. Give 'em a good choppin' sewz da rest of da boyz can git to da fight."
"Youz got it boss..." The lead Skarboy grunted in an amused tone.
Knawgril nodded and climbed up a ladder to the top hatch of the battlewagon. There was a few Orks still tinkering with their guns as the battlewagon rumbled forward. "Oi! Youze iz suppozed ta be shootin'! Git off ya rumps and start blastin'!!!" The orks snapped to attention at the sound of their boss and quickly began firing into the lines. Most of the bullets never even had a chance to hit their target...but with their spread and the setup of the Tau line, most of them still hit something. Knawgril laughed as he saw a shot aimed at a kroot's chest fly off and hit a fire warrior square in the forehead. "Heh-hah! Noice shot!"
Dropping back into the battlewagon he turned to a group of cramped gretchins. "Oi! You lot gitz to firin' da Big Kannon! Ize want doez 'tillery tankz taken out!" The gretchins quickly saluted and clambered into the Big Kannon controls. After a few seconds, the Basilisk Cannon barrel that had been welded onto the front of the battlewagon fired into the Artillery line. There was no way that it should have made it even 50 yards but the "round" (more like a bomb...which should've blown them to smithereens) flew straight and true to its mark, destroying a Hammerhead in one blast.
"YESH! Red may be fasta' but me blue iz gonna win us dis Waaaagh!"

Suddenly gunfire broke out on the Imperial front line. "What! They're here already! Sound the alarms!" The command of "hostiles inbound" rang over the loudspeakers. Entaru cursed himself for not setting up skullprobes on the perimeters. The Tau took pride in their stealthsuits...something Entaru had failed to remember until just now.
The Basilisks fired their rounds into the assaulting Tau line, sending troops in every direction. The Guardsmen in the front line opened fire on the intruders who suddenly appeared. The snipers in the second line took out some of the assaulting stealth suiters before ducking behind cover.
-
Chronin heard the alarm, and pulled out his bolter, taking aim and firing a single round every second to take down the oncoming assault line, wanting to keep a few clips for when they're close enough for a full-auto to be considered useful. "I got sixteen of those freaks!!" he yelled, as other Marines carried two bolters, or some firing their shoulder rockets with unusual accuracy. "Never stop showing off, do you?!" "Let him have his fun, not eveyday you have Xenos actually running into your bullets!!"
Gerin lead a group of ten Beserkers as they searched an encampment for any wounded Tau, which they actually did. "Keep them alive when you take them back to the circle, Khorne will not be at all pleased if we sacrifice empty husks!!" he commanded as he walked out of a room and found a few stragglers that took shelter in a bunker-like section of the building.
He took his spear out and wedged into the right side of the vault, prying open the door as the energy of the spear heated the door enough to make the door pull away from the extended bolts like they were taffy. He then walked into the room where a few un-armored Tau had huddled into a corner. "The fault of this is not mine, but your pathetic excuse for a front-line force..." he said as he dragged three out by their feet, and one by their hair. He handed the three that were dragged, to the remainding Bersekers, then changed his grip on the last from the hair, to the neck before leading the wounded and "POW's" to their final destination...
-
The kroot howled as they charged the Imperial front lines, and Tau Fire Warriors got into position and began firing. One such plasma shot went into a guradsman and rent a horrible looking hole in his chest, and the impact threw him backwards. Some heavy ordinance impacted a Sealth Suitter and his arm was rent off before the same happened to the upper half of his body. The battle was under way.
The Shas' O used her jumpjets to get closer to the fight and started bringing down heavy ordinance on their heads. Soon her Crisis Suit bodyguards soon joined her, opening up with their heavy weaponry as well.

Malal stood, on an improvised podium, made of a Tau Governer, and his servants.
"Servants of Chaos! This world, finally is OURS! Soon we will be able to descend on the rest of these planets, and have a base to plan our next conquests! Soon the Gods of Chaos will be pleased with our efforts, and rightly rewards us! Now my Servants, take forth the prisoners, and spill their blood, in the NAME OF CHAOS UNDIVIDED!"
The gathering of Chaos troops cheered and dragged out the freshly captured Tau victims. Wounded Fire Warriors and other Tau military units along with captured families, along with the one Gerin recently captured. They were dragged onto a rocky altar, with red energies surrounding the altar. Demonic energy filled the air, chilling it, and causing the sacrifices to reel back in pain as their bodies were lifted into the sky. Their screams were deafened by the chants of the gathering of Chaos.
Soon the sacrifices were high enough, and stopped floating, they were then violently thrown back down to the ground, and upon impact, exploded in a bloody mess, spraying the cultists in their blood, and giving them the Blessing of Khorne.

The bass rumble of Grav-plates shook the ground as Tel'vani's Hammerhead flew in a low arc, weaving between and over firewarriors... Smart Missiles launched from the sponson mounted drones, flying up into the air, swerving to find their targets and hitting home with bright flashes of pulse energy...
"Fire the Railgun on my target!"
The turret swiveled, brining a ramshackle Ork Trukk into view... The railgun fired with a sup-sonic boom, and the Trukk dissintegrated. The railgun shot had gone through one side, obliterating the driver, crew and everything else on its way through... "Hoorah!" Stopping mid-air and performing a daring dive between two bunkers, Tel'vani brought the hammerhead around the flanks of the Ork charge, pounding them relentlessly with submunition after submunition...
"Tel'vani! I have a markerlight placed and ready for you Shas'vre!" A pathfinder, who had infiltrated into the Ork flanks, lit-up an ork Trukk... the invisible laser-light activated the seeker missile strapped to the hammerhead. The missile launched with a woosh, swerving up and then down on the trukk, immolating it... "Good shot Shas'la! keep those markerlights coming!"
In the battlewagon, Gurt gave a loud guffaw of laughter.. the bulky vehicle was smashing through tank traps and Tau defenders alike, as Gurt slammed a meaty fist into a large button set into the dash-board... On the front of the wagon, Stikk-bombs fired, shredding those foolish enough to be in the open, and forcing those in cover to keep their heads down... Pulling sharply on a lever, the battlewagon jolted again, reaching an even higher speed...
"C'mon! Fasta! FASTAAAA!"
Gurt laughed manically, steering wildly, trying to crush as many Tau and bits of wreckage as possible....

As Reno was planting the explosives his father and the rest of the team were still fighting. Two team members were picked off unfortunately. His father and the last man that was there were being pinned down by the bunker which Reno was running away from. Soon enough it exploded, allowing the remaining units of the stealth team regroup. It was only Reno, his father and one other man left in the team. Now regrouped they decided to go get another bunker but it was across the battlefield so they had to go through a hail of gunfire. They activated their stealth fields and ran for it, as they ran the other member of the team was shot and died, leaving Reno and his father to make it to the bunker. Reno set up some more explosives while his father covered him.
Meanwhile on Garland I...
Rio stood at the back of the ceremony, she was really the only Slaanesh follower there. But she didn't have a problem watching people get sacrificed, she loved it. So she did for awhile until she grew bored and sauntered off followed by Calico. "Nothing like a good sacrifice, eh, Calico?" "I could not agree with you more, Miss Rio..." he said sarcastically. "Well lets go to base and get that back rub." Calico sighed as he continued to follow Rio. Back at base Rio was in her quarters with Calico. Though Calico was in a human looking for like Rio. She was on her bed on her stomach as he was over her giving her the back rub. "I love your back rubs, Calico, you're so good at this..." "Thank you, Miss Rio..."

Knawgril noted the Hammerhead pounding on his boyz and grunted in displeasure. "Runty greyskinz...fink dey can jus bash on us without retallyashun. Ize showz dem a fing o two!" Knawgril pulled out a ramshackle radio and shouted into it.
"Oi! Big Mek! You dere?!"
One of the Skarboyz looked at Knawgril quizzically. "Huh?"
"Not you ya git!"
The radio crackled to life. ~shskshkshskshshshkh-What-shkshk-iz-shhksskhh-it-sshkshkhks-Boss?-shskshskshksh~
Knawgril put a massive green hand over his face in an Ork facepalm "Da raydeeoh makez da noizez by itself stupid! Talk normalz!"
~Oh...Sorry Boss...~
"Dats betta...git your 'ide and dah Banechoppa o'er to dat 'Ammer'ead. Itz blowin' away me boyz! 'Turn da fayva."
~Youze got it Boss!~ The Baneblade diverted its course and began to charge towards Tel'vani's Hammerhead, firing all of its arsenal his way.

Entaru slammed his Neuro Claw into his desk, breaking it in half. He had just gotten news of the destroyed bunker. "Curse their rotten hides! Have the Space Marines (Chrono) deal with those Stealthsuits (Cuddles). They've already caused more damage then they should have!! PURGE THE XENOS FROM THE CITY!!!"
The call went out to Chronin's group to deal with the Stealthsuit sabotuers. Meanwhile, a Dreadnought mowed down a line of kroots and began to lead a large group of Ogryn into the advancing Tau force. The Ogryn were making quick work of any Fire warriors that got into their way while the Dreadnought kept them blissfully free of the kroots. The vespids weren't even making it to fighting distance as the Imperial snipers were making bets on how many they could shoot down by the end of the battle.

Gerin had to tolerate the rather messy display of power as long as Tzeentch deemed it necessary, so he didn't outright retch at the sight of the ritual, and walked away as the blood-spatter his the back of his armor. The whole idea of him leading a pack of bipedal rabies-ridden dogs was not what he wanted to deal with, at least the Slaneesh knew the difference between "Charge" and "advance". But, his weapons made him more suited as a Khornate leader, so thats what he did...
Chronin got the call, and waved his left arm at the other Marines, who all followed him as the jumped off the wall, their armored hands scraping the wall as they slow their decent into battle. The moment they hit the ground, Chronin leads the Marines towards the recently destroyed bunker. "We have stealthsuits, so make sure you're not using regular visor settings. May the Emperor guide our bullets!!" he yelled before firing full-auto at the first stealth-suit in 'sight'
-
The Tau Commander opened fire on the now exposed Space Marines, remembering what her mentor, Commander Puretide taught her. He taught her that these soldiers were symbols of hope and of the Imperium's might.
Any tools furthering a cause rivaling the Greater Good must be destroyed.

Malal once again addressed the attending Chaos cultists.
"We will board the intact Tau ships, an we will make all due haste towards the world where the Emperor's lackeys gather in force! Chaos can not be denied my brothers!" At this, Chaos rejoiced, and then troops flooded towars the nearest space ports with intact ships.
-
The guardsmen of the Imperium rallied as they saw their Space Marine bretheren attack the Tau. Shouts of "For the Emperor!" floated through the battlefield as the wavering morale of the troops not only steadied but strengthened. One sniper took a potshot at the Tau commander, barely missing her head.
"Leave it to the Space Marines to turn terror into bloodlust..."
-
Reno was almost done planting the bomb when his father tapped him on the shoulder and told him they had to leave. He picked up the marines inbound to their position. Reno stopped and got up ready to move with his father. Just on the other side of the bunker were the hunting marines. Reno and his father activated their stealth and got ready to run towards their allies. But they were cut off so ran inside the bunker instead. There were a few enemies inside but Reno's father dispatched them. They would just have to lay low until the marines gave up or went far enough away to allow them to escape. It's not like they would search their own bunker for enemies anyway...
-
Tel'vani looked up in trepidation, as the huge monstrosity belched forwards. Oily smoke poured from its engine stacks, and the ground shook under its gargantuan treads as it rumbled towards the lone hammerhead... Inside the cockpit, Tel'vani shook a lock of hair from out of her eyes...
"Err... Tel'vani.... Not that i doubt your skills Shas'vre, but that is a big tank..."
Giving a brief laugh, Tel'vani flexed her fingers over the gunship controls... "No need to worry Shas'la... the bigger they are... the harder they fall.." And with that, she brought the hammerhead into a G-force rippling dive... The gunship engines roared, as the sleek vehicle circled around the flank of the Banechoppa....
Inside the rattling and roaring Battlewagon Gurt laughed manically. "AHAHAHAAA! DEY SQUISH GOOD DUNN'EY BOSS?" The laughing Ork drove the armoured vehicle straight through a Tau defence line. A lone crisis suit landed in front of the battlewagon, it fired its fusion blaster with a sharp -ZWEEM-
The shot melted a hole straight through the battlewagon, frying an Ork... Gurt gave a gutteral laugh again, as the crisis suit was crushed below the armoured wheels of the battlewagon... "Gyahaha! Fasta... FASTAAA!"
-
Knawgril guffawed as the battlewagon ran down everything in its path. Finally it was about to reach its destination. "A'rite boyz...time ta bust sum 'eadz! WAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHH!!!!!" Knawgril barreled through his men, bellowing his warcry. Bursting out of the back of the battlewagon and into the middle of the second line, he immediately began thrashing everything in his way. The Skarboyz immediately followed suit, bellowing and chopping their way through the Tau line.
The boyz who remained in the battlewagon continued firing at their own targets...except the gretchins, who were too scared to fire at anything but the Artillery line.
The Burna Boyz at the front line were laying waste to anything that got too close, with the rest of the mob picking off the survivors. The Big Mek inside the Baneblade hollered at a few gretchins. Soon, all of its guns were firing away...some at the Hammerhead, most at random targets. The main gun however gave the Hammerhead its full attention, firing its payload at the gunship. The Big Mek pressed a few buttons inside the cockpit and the Baneblade was suddenly covered with an eerie orange glow.
-
speeda climbed on top of the battlewagon and jumped at the nearest and biggest group of tau shouting "FOR GORK AN' MORK!" as he landed his choppa into the helmet of the first tau infantryman he then released his choppa and broke the neck of two tau soldiers before reclaiming his discarded weapon and hacking the rest to peices.
-
Chronin wasn't sure if they had escaped, or retreated, but the number the found was not really proportional to the damage done."You three with me, the rest will go reinforce the lines. Now go forth in His name and bring victory!!" he yelled at the end before taking point as he and two other marines went into the bunker. Another would be to see if anyone of significance died here, and bring any evidence of them back for a momentary funeral. "Now split up and keep radio silence until contact..." he said as they went off into different directions.
-
As Reno and his father hid in the bunker one of the marines venturing in poked it's nose into their hiding spot. He was quickly and quietly dealt with, hopefully there wasn't anymore. Though Reno's father's tracker told them otherwise. Their only chance now was to fight the rest of the people in the bunker and wait for reinforcements. They hid the body of the marine in the shadows and moved out towards one of the two lone targets.

Chronin finished his sweep, but wasn't satisfied with the lack of contact. "Report in. I've found no trace..." "Evrin Reporting: No luck here either sir... although I found Col. Drew's right arm... and whats left of his skeleton." "Theyda Reporting: Nothing here... the room seems cleaned out" Chronin couldn't hear the third report, since he brought in three people, and only two reported back. "Everyone meet back up, and keep channels open, I want those freaks dead before I get back to the base..."

Apparently the Marines had forgotten about the Tau commander and her bodyguards firing upon them, and fired heavier munitions at the bunker where the marines were stationed. Shas' o Kas noticed the las shot fly by her head, and punished the Imperials by throwing a photon grenade in a nearby trench, detonating it and sending guardsmen flying.

Luke looked down at the planet from the battle barge above "poor blighters must be catching lead in bucket fulls down there..." Luke wandered the battle barge checking around for the marines he would go down with and in doing which found out there wasn't any marines left in the barge just a few scouts ,like him, the pilots and inquisitor Toth Luke approached the inquisitor "excuse me sir which group of scouts am i going down with?" the inquisitor looked at him despite having large wings making him as bulky as normal scouts Luke was quite a bit thinner than most scouts and his lack of experience showed inquisitor Toth paused and said "come to the mess hall with me i will explain there... and maybe you will actually eat something" as the inquisitor walked off Luke sneered at him slightly then followed he heard several voices of pain in his head and just before he was going to report this to the inquisitor thinking it to be the taint of chaos Toth spoke up and said "that is the voices of your fallen brothers on the planet not the taint of chaos." "how did you know that?" Luke said puzzled by the inquisitors powers "because i can hear them too its just a confirmation of what i sensed before." "and that was...?" Luke got in front of the inquisitor hoping being in front would help him the inquisitor just walked on and said "you'll be going down with the next group of marines get ready to deploy". Luke froze and gripped his Bolter in its holster then flew back to his quarters his wings barely fitting through the corridors above the other marines he was scared and it was clear as an ork waaagh!

Entaru grimaced as the battle continued. The first line was holding, but barely. The Tau had the advantage in ranged weaponry but in urban combat like this their range was useless. Thank the Emperor for that...forgive me, my liege, for my lack of faith but I doubt we would've lasted this long if it weren't for superior cover and your blessed Space Marines. Entaru looked about the battlefield. A grin came over his face as a plan came into his head. Looking to his officers he relayed his command. "Send a Skull Probe to Foxtrot X-ray...have it send up a flare for the drop pods." One of the officers saluted and went to prepare the Skull Probe. Entaru looked to the area marked as Foxtrot X-ray and laughed. The Tau commander would be wearing a drop pod as a hat soon.
The Skull Probe floated its way through the battlefield, unseen. Its built in stealth generator kept many of the Tau from noticing it, as it actively avoided anything that might detect it. Shas'o Kas only saw it as it was too late. The signal for the drop pods was sent.
((Luke, its your time to shine. Gabag, might I suggest doing an epic dive out of the way.))
-
Luke heard an alarm ring out telling him to get to the drop pods. He knew this may be the last time he's scrambled but he grabbed his rifle and walked casually to the drop pod. He knew it was time and only hoped for the best he sat in the dop pod with fear in his eyes. His mind raced with thoughts he had never shot a living thing and... A marine put his hand on Lukes shoulder "don't worry scout the emperor protects." Luke stared at the floor of the pod and thought out loud "...theres no better time to die for me... i may be scared but i was given a bolter for a reason..." the drop pod launched... He knew it was time... Luke loaded his bolter and braced himself. "time to enter the fray..."
-
Reno and his father finally tracked down the lone signal, sure enough it was another marine. His father dispatched him, again quietly but while dying the marine got off a shot which echoed through the halls of the bunker. Maybe it would be unnoticed due to the constant shelling going on outside. "C'mon, we need to get out of 'ere. This place is gonna be blown to pieces soon enough." "Aye, father, lets go." They set off down a corridor, eventually they wound up at the exit but a shell hit the door and caved in the entrance. "Oh boy...that ain't good..." "Nope..." "Okay...You still got some explosives left?" "Aye, but I don't think it'd blow this debris out of the way..." "Hmm...We need to find the blueprints to this place, find an exterior wall." "What about the shellin'? We'll be blown to bits by then." "Okay...First we find the communications room and tell'em to stop shellin' this bunker." "Why can't we just use our radios?" "The signal is being blocked down here, only thing strong enough to get a signal out would be the comms room." Reno nodded and they set off through the bunker in search for the communications room.
Meanwhile on Garland I...
"I can't believe you seduced me again, Miss Rio...You know how it annoys me..." said Calico as he walked out of a room in his human form. Rio was shortly behind him with a devilish smile on her face. "Oh you know you love it..." Calico huffed and returned to his fox form, continuing to walk down a hallway. "You need to find a new love puppet, I refuse to be seduced into...Gah! It won't happen again, Miss Rio. Mark my word." "My my, Calico, it was just a little fun...And it looked like you enjoyed it too. The way you said my name...Begged for it not to end..." "Shut up!" Rio chuckled as she still followed him around. "Oh, and Miss Rio, we missed the transport..." "Oh poo...I guess we're stuck here for awhile then. Well I'm going to head back to my room. I'll be waiting for you, Calico..." Rio smiled and giggled erotically and turned back around. Calico growled and entered a room, it was dark, only lit by candles. Which were all in a circle in the center of the room. He walked over to the circle and sat down on his haunches. "Slaanesh, my liege...I apologize, but Miss Rio and I seemed to have missed the transports out off the planet. I humbly request and alternate passage for us."

Tel'vani pulled up on her controls, bringing the hammerhead into a roaring swoop upwards... Most of the guns on the gargantuan machine where firing in random directions, and so where no problem... it was the main cannon Tel'vani was rather worried about right now, though she would never admit it...
"Tel'vani! Frack, stop pulling these G-crazy manoeuvres!"
Several bullets skimmed the hull, clanking and pinging of the armour... Tel'vani quickly brushed over touch controls, levelling the hammerhead now at around thirty feet above the ground and coming around in a fast arc... "Those manoeuvres may be just what saves our hides Shas'la... Just get the aut-loaders working on the main railgun, and fire the Smart missiles at the cockpit..."
In answer to her commands, the dull clunk of new railgun rounds being loaded resounded in the back of the hammerhead, and below the vehicle the muffle -thump-thump-thump- signalled smart missiles firing off in fast volleys... Swerving through the air, the missiles locked onto the ork vehicle vision slits and weapon ports, before slamming home in a series of flaring explosions...
The main cannon fired with a loud boom, and Tel'vani hit the defensive actions button set into her console... All around the hammerhead a flickering shield erupted into view, a spherical blue wall of energy that absorbed the cannon shell... Inside the Hammerhead, Tel'vani smirked... "The great Tau'va technology... say hello to my lil' friend, the railgun..."
The turret of the hammerhead swivveled until it was pointed directly at the Banechoppa engine stacks... The length of the weapon pulsed with blue energy, as a high-pitched -vweeeeem- built up...
Down on the main front, Gurt sat inside the Battlewagon, happily whistling under his slimy breath... Everywhere the Ork Boss and his boys went, the battlewagon followed, armoured treads crushing rubble and tau alike as the grot guns fired in all directions... "Hurhur... Da Boss is gonna be well happy wiv' my smashin'... might even get me a shiny medal or sumfink... HAHAAA!" He stopped his rambling to laugh, as a stealthsuit materialised in front of him, only to be smushed below the battlewagon...

Chronin first heard the bombing, he was about to yell at them to move it, but then heard a shot. "Who shot?!" "I didn't fire sir..." "Theyda, rep... $#@%%$#.... we're pulling out before the whole place caves, forget the stragglers!" Chronin yelled as both of them ran to the now caved entrance of the bunker. Chronin cursed under his breath, and moitoned Evra to follow him as they tried to find another way out...
Gerin's laughter resonated as he rode the transport with his men. "Told you those Slaanesh would be too drugged up to get here, now pay up!!" the Berserker that had actually bet they would show up at the last minute, gave up his gambling money to Gerin. As he quickly put it away and leaned back, he gave a metaphorical pat on his own back for his 'easy money'. He actually ordered his men to withhold the leaving time of the transport, putting the odds in Gerin's favor.

The Chaos ships accelerated from the surface of Garland I, and made all speed for the current battle between the Tau and the Imperials. Malal wasn't going to miss a battle with his greatest foes for anything, not even that pretty boy Calico or that Slaaneshi cultist Rio.
"Field promotion Gerin, your leading the speartip directly into the Tau assault force." he ordered the Tzeentchian annoance.

Shas o' Kas looked to the skies and her eyes widended as Drop Pods accelerated towards her squads position
"Jump outta here, NOW!" one of her Crisis Guars yelled, and they jumped away, with her following along with two other Crisis Suits. Alas, one was too busy hsooting Space marines, and was crushed.

The Looted Baneblade roared forward and rammed into the Hammerhead. As it hit, a gretchin leapt off the top of the Baneblade and began beating on the barrel of the railgun with a wrench. ((Of course, most gretchins would have rather stayed in the Baneblade but a Painboy had gotten a hold of him earlier and drugged him up with "Engree Jooce".))
Meanwhile, Knawgril and his Waaagh! were ripping through the Tau defensive line. At the moment, Knawgril was feeding a Tau Stealthsuiter his Shoota while turning a Firewarrior into hamburger with his Klawz. "WAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! KRUSH 'EM!! STOMP 'EM!!! WEZE BE DA BIGGEST BESTEST WAAAGH! DIS 'ERE SISTEM EVA DID SEE!!!"

Reno and his father made it to the communications room and started messing with the equipment. they managed to get on their own frequency. Reno's father grabbed the radio and started talking into it. "Oi, stop the shellin' of the bunker on the front! There are friendlies inside! I repeat, STOP (CENSORED) BLOWIN' US UP!!! Reno, see if you can't find the blue prints and get to work." "Aye" With that Reno searched around the area, searching through various drawers and such. Eventually he found them and found the area where there was a wall to the outside. "Got it, lets go." "Alright, lead the way." They both set off out of the communication room to where they needed to go.
Meanwhile on Garland I...
A seemingly ghostly figured appeared in the circle in front of Calico, it was apparently female. It swirled around Calico as he sat there. "You didn't get on the transports?" "No, master..." "How unfortunate..." "Is there any way you can forgive us?" "I suppose..." "Thank you, master." "There is another transport you can take. It didn't leave for some reason. Go ahead and go see why. If it's those slackers again...Anyway, fix the problem and you both are forgiven, and you get to go play with the Tau. Fun fun, okay, bye now." The figure dispersed and Calico stood up to leave. "Women..." Suddenly Calico felt a sharp sting on his backside. "Ow! What the-" "I heard that, Calico..." He grumbled and set off to Rio's room. Once there he saw her face down nude on the bed again. "Oh Calico, I want another back rub." "It will have to wait, Miss Rio...We have to redeem ourselves to Slaanesh, there is one last transport here. It didn't leave for some reason and we need to investigate and solve the problem to be forgiven and permitted an exit off this planet. We will then be going to fight some Tau." "Oh, that sounds like fun!" Rio got off the bed and Calico stared wide eyed at her before turning away. "Help me pick out something for the trip." "No, no no no!" Calico headed for the door and stood outside it. "I am going to start investigating this like I was told. If you don't help me I'm not going to take you with me." Calico huffed and walked off as Rio dressed herself and followed after him.

Luke leapt out of the drop pod into cover as soon as it opened and looked around quickly looking for higher cover. He spotted a hospital nearby mid way through the battlefield between the Imperium and Tau sides he leapt up using his wings as propultion catapulting him up onto the roof and as he landed he prepared his rifle and aimed at the nearest Tau Sargent. He slowed his breath. He steadied his thoughts. He squeezed the trigger and the rifle responded by sending a bullet through the Tau's neck causing a slow but painful death. Luke stared at the tau dropping his rifle and said in fear "what have i done...?" as he finished saying this a Tau pushed him off the roof Luke fell half way down then hovered now armed with nothing but a bolter he flew back up and punched the tau's visor stunning him then threw him off the hospital stealing a grenade from his armour Luke took off again avoiding fire from the (now aware of his presence) tau. He flew over a large group of them and threw the grenade at them with all the force he could muster then flew back to the main group fast ignoring the wounds on his left wing as he landed. He drew his bolter and fell into the squad a marine looked at him "the emperor protects the brave." it was the marine from the drop ship Luke looked up to him and said "I'm not brave I'm just doing my job." Luke opened fire at the tau he knew he would die eventually and to him there was no better spot to die than where he stood.

A vision came to Calico, a vision of the path that would lead them to a sill intact Orca dropship to et them off Garland I. The vision cannot be explained in mortal words, except for the fact it came as a vision of the Dark Gods themselves. It seems they have a plan for dear Calico and Rio, but to what their neferarious ends are, mortals cannot even begin to guess.

" 'ere should be it. Cover me while I set the charges, don't need those remainin' guys catchin' us." "I don't detect anyone else, maybe they got blasted." Reno kneeled down to a bare wall and began planting the last of his explosives. Once finished he tapped his father on the shoulder letting him know they needed to clear out. A short time later it exploded, leaving a good sized hole in the wall leading out. "Alright, lets get out of 'ere, Reno. I'm just about out of ammo, you'll need to take out any opposition as we 'ead back to base. Can you 'andle tha'?" "Aye, I'll manage." With that they cloaked and made their way back towards the main base.
Meanwhile on Garland I...
"So what happened?" "I saw something." "Where?" "In my head..." "That's lame..." "Shut up, I think it's the path we need to follow." "Okay, I don't mind being back here anyway. I have a nice view." Calico held his tail down as to obstruct Rio's view of his behind which she was obviously gawking at. "I think we're almost there...Maybe a twenty more minute walk." Rio sighed as they trudged on.

Chronin heard an explosion, and went towards it as it was the only explosion since the bombing that they could hear. In moments they found an exit, but none of the Tau were still there. "Sir, if its any consilation, I managed to get Theydas' helmet and his power hammer..." Chronin nodded "Evrin, report to base and tell them we have gene seeds to extract..." "Yes sir!" Chronin took a deep breath and joined the marines on the front lines, not realizing the drop pods had arrived...

Luke advanced with the marine squad firing at the Tau inaccurately but rather effectively he stopped behind some cover and started firing over it in 4-round bursts. Suddenly he stopped firing and ducked behind his cover gripping his head tightly he howled in pain hearing numerous voices in his head crying out in pain and in it all one voice chanting repeatedly a daemonic chant. He curled up behind his cover and closed his eyes tightly. He opened his eyes again and saw only a misty barren plain he got up and started walking through the mist "where am i?" Luke asked into the mist "we are in your mind..." Luke suddenly turned to face the voice and saw a chaos sorcerer "who are you!?" Luke reached for his bolter and found it was gone "that is none of your business scout i have come to warn you of your fate" the sorcerer spoke calmly making Luke lower his guard "do you know why the imperium are intrested in you?... they're scared of your powers and after destroying your home world they fear your retribution" "but I've lived in my home for as long as i can remember..." "that's because your past is incomplete... and once you remember the evil that is the imperium shall destroy you... "Why are you telling me this!?" Luke shouted aggressively "i offer you salvation... our ships draw near... i hope to see you again soon... Luke suddenly awoke to fine a marine over him "scout are you OK?" Luke panicked kicked the marine away and flew off back to the hospital. "Could the imperium really be evil?

Oh Frack...."
The Banechoppa smashed into the hammerhead with a colossal crunch... The hammerhead, hovering several feet in the air, was thrown backwards with the force of the impact... The back end of the gunship ground into the muddy earth, as the front end was tipped up into the sky... Tel'vani, never one to give up, punched the controls... Tee gunship engines let out a roar of ionised particles. The hammerhead gained height, mud and stones falling away from it's smooth hull, and down onto the banechoppa below... Tel'vani brought the gunship in a low arc straight over the huge ork tank, firing off a salvo of smart missiles as she went....
"Shas'vre! THe gunship cant take a hit like that again... I have a rupture in the main fuel cell compartment..." Tel'vani shouted into her comms in response to the co-pilot "Well just keep its together, until i take this beast down!"
In the Ork Battleline, Gurt crawled out the now smoking wreck of a battlewagon... He straightened up, snorting and wiping a green fist across his mouth.. "Stupid lil' blue ummies... wrecked the Boss's wheels!... 'E's gonna be right mad..." TO aleviate his feelings, Gurt kicked a gretchin up the backside.... It made him feel quite a bit better about things in general...
-
The missiles slammed into the Looted Baneblade to minor effect. The forcefield it was generating was starting to fade out but was still strong enough to take another hit or two before they began damaging the hull. The Big Mek barked an order to one of the Orks inside and the Ork popped out of the top hatch with a rokkit-launcha. The Ork fired and the rokkit made its way for the underbelly of the Hammerhead.
Knawgril heard a crash as he sliced open a gunship and tore out its occupants. Looking over he saw his battlewagon in a wreck. "Wah?! Not me battlewagon!" Knawgril looked from the wreckage to an unfortunate Tau who happened to be standing too close. "YOU SLIMY LIDDLE GREYSKINS BROKE MAH BATTLEWAGON!!!!" Knawgril grabbed the Tau, shot him in the face, chopped him up in his klaws, threw the remains into the air, and launched a rokkit at the remains making even smaller giblets.

Reno and his father made it back to base safely. They headed for the armory to resupply. Once done they went over to Shas'O. Reno stood back a bit as his father saluted. "Captain Shaun O'Malley reporting. My team and I have successfully neutralized two bunkers. Three of my men were lost during the battle, but we are still willing to fight!"
Meanwhile on Garland I...
Rio and Calico stood a ways from an Orca dropship watching it. There were a few Tau Firesoldiers patrolling near it. "I count five...Can you handle it, Rio?" "Yeah yeah...I'll handle them." Rio started to walk over to them nonchalantly. "Wait! Don't go out there lik-...Hrmphh...Damn her...She'll be the end of me..." Calico quickly followed after her towards them. Just about next to them one of them spotted the two. They surrounded the two quickly. "Don't move! Or we'll shoot!" "Okay okay, no need...We aren't armed. Just lost...A lost woman and her pet dog." "You look like one of those Chaos God worshipers!" "Please, if I was would I have walked up to you nice men unarmed?" "I don't know...It seems awfully fishy..." "Oh come now...I'm sure your big ole ship has enough room for little ole me..." As Rio spoke she walked up to the Firewarrior who was talking and started to rub up against him. "U-Uhm...We have to run it bye the captain!" "Oh alright...Don't be gone too long...I get lonely." "Yes, ma- I mean. Wait here!" Three of them ran off while two took a few steps back and watched them. "Rio...What are you doing...?!" "Just keep quiet, neither of us can fly this thing. And dogs don't talk!" "Did you say something?" One of the firewarriors asked. "No no, must have been the wind!" Soon enough the three came back, the one who was talking before came over to Rio. "Alright, the captain will let you and your dog on board. I just had to...*Breathes on his knuckles and shines them on his chest arrogantly*...Talk him into it." Once again Rio threw himself on him. "Oh my hero! How ever will I repay you?" "She better not..." "Well we're about to head off, you can stay with me." "Oh...How nice..." Rio smiled devilishly and followed them onto the ship. Calico right behind Rio.

Entaru cursed as the second bunker went up. Now they had a hole in their lines. Fortunately the Tau forces were starting to thin. Whenever one of his own men went down they were quickly replaced by another. However, he knew his men's morale wouldn't hold up much longer. The Space Marines had helped but the Commisars were only barely keeping the men in check. This called for drastic measures.
"Grey Knights, to my side!" Entaru's bodyguards formed up around him. "We will cleanse this battlefield with Holy Fire! For The Emperor, we march!" Entaru stalked his way out of his HQ, followed by the squad of Grey Knights. The guardsmen around him looked in awe as their commander strode towards the line, unphased by the chaos around him.
-
Luke flew up off the roof top to higher altitudes. he knew if he was gonna get away alive he was gonna need transport. Luke spotted an orca transport in the distance that looked lightly guarded. He swooped down and picked up a chainsword from a fallen apocothary and set course for the tau ship.
-
Inside the cockpit of the hammerhead, a high-pitched beeping rang out as one of the touch-consoles flashed red with a warning -INCOMING MISSILE-EVASIVE ACTIONS- Beneath the gunship, a low shuddering a muffled -whoompf- could be heard, as drone controlled flechettes launched at the Ork missile... The small charges exploded into spinning shards of metal, engulfing the crude missile... It exploded in a oily fireball, just below the hammerhead, rocking the vehicle violently, but causing no substantial damage...
"Tel'vani! Breach in the lower hyrdaulics, shrapnel musta gotten through!"
Cursing under her breath, tel'vani brought the hammerhead round in a low arc, ready to fire again... It was then that a small Grot appeared on her view screen, sticking out his tongue... Rather taken aback, tel'vani blinked twice... the Grot was still there, now back to hitting the railgun with a wrench...

The Orca ship that luke was heading for appeared to be unguarded, but inside it's depths Chaos Marines of Khorne were within, waiting for that Chaos Grey Knight to opent he door so they can spill blood for the Blood God.
-
Chronin continued to cut down Tau, but didnt notice the Tau ship landing and not unloading for awhile. But, when he did, he cleared the immedeat area and turned about to wonder why it just stopped and didn't open up. He saw the commander with Grey Knights, and he cursed under his breath. "Evrin, get back here and try to keep the commander away from the unopened Tau ship until the battle is over..." "You're asking I-" "Did I stutter, Evrin?!" He heard Evrin sigh before he broke off, leaving Chronin to hope that the commander at least doesn't lead the Grey Knights right for the 'Tau' ship. If that bunker was wasted in moments, that ship might be rigged to go off and take the commander with it. All that brigade will accomplish is his demise!! he inwardly raged as he turned his attention back to the returning Tau.
-
Luke landed by the dropship and examined it thoroughly he stayed out of the weapons systems line of sight. After noticing it was locked down tight ,to his experience, he decided the best thing to do was stay out of trouble until the sorcerer arrived. He took off his armour so he was topless and only wearing the scraggy trousers from the stores of the Battle Barge. He decided the best way to stay out of trouble was to make himself look harmless with his young age and naievity he knew it was possible if he was careful. He buried his armour and weapons except a small dagger he had kept on him from the start of what little training he had. He noticed something drawing closer he picked up a modest but tattered shirt from nearby put it on and concealed his dagger then focused on looking docile. Then he waited for the objects to get into his view. He wasn't sure if it was alive or not yet but that would be normal considering space marines were near.
-
Calico was lying outside the room Rio and her new Firewarrior friend while she "Repayed" him. A man stopped nearby him, a very loud voice emitted from his headset. Enough so he took it off and held it a distance away. "Jenkins! I thought I told messing around in the loading bay!! Get your (Censored) to the Bridge, we're launching!" The man sighed, put on his headset swearing and walking off. "It's about time...I was beginning to think we were never going to take off...Rio better be done in there...Maybe she can get them to put it on auto pilot so we can just kill all these people..." He nudged the door open with his muzzle, just enough to peek in. Sure enough, Rio was in bed with the Firewarrior. Before Calico could see much he backed out annoyed. "That woman! She is unbelievable..." He sighed and walked off down a hallway. "Might as well find something to do...Going to be awhile for her...Judging by that positioning..." he shuddered thinking about it, the only reason he knew because it happened to him.
-
Gerin continued to wait, although he was steadily becoming more impatient as time wore on. We landed right in front of them and nothing is coming to the doors, we would be charging by now if my apparent 'superior' didn't order us to stay and wait for them... he thought until a thought not quite his own told him to go anyway and attack while the battle rages on around them. "For the Blood God!!" he yelled, and it was like a fuse to a keg of TNT as others responded and in moments the doors were blasted open and Khorne's warriors came out in the hundreds...
-
luke sat on top of the transport waiting as the chaos warriors ran out he had gone unnoticed so he didnt draw attention to himself until the last one was out. He then sneaked into the transport activated the weapons systems and started to gun down the stragglers using the weapons systems. After taking out half the squad and running out of ammo Luke ran out of the transport and flew away from the remaining squad to look for an active transport. "Hehe bet they didnt see that coming" he flew up to a higher altitude and landed on the hospital. After reviewing the battlefield he saw another orca dropship this time lightly guarded by tau "that should be sufficient." He took off with all due haste to the seemingly active transport.
-
Calico roamed the halls of the ship, poking his nose into a room. "Mess hall?" The ship jerked suddenly, they were taking off. "Well, might as well-" "Hey there, puppy. Want a piece of chicken?" "Oh Slaanesh...These guys really think I am a dog? Neanderthals..." He decided to play along and gave his best puppy dog eyes. The couple guys sitting at a table laughed, one setting down a plate. "Dimwits..." Calico started eating the chicken satisfied.
-
The commander obliged Reno and his Dad by not stopping the barrage of plasma, but shifting it a couple centimeters to the left so it hit the Chaos trops on rushing out.
"Attention all forces! The Enemy has Reinforcements!" She yelled in her Comms as a few of her firewarriors were cleaved in half by a Bezerker.
_____________________
"THE FORCES OF CHAOS COME FOR YOU" Malal yelled as he and his ramshackle fleet went to land all over the Imperial/Tau battlefield, all over the place, Chaos forces disgorged themselves and assaulted their enemies.
-
Entaru froze momentarily as Chaos' forces poured onto the battlefield. He looked to his Grey Knights and the men around him. Taking in a deep breath he bellowed into his communicator for all of the Imperium forces to hear. "BURN THE HERETICS!!! CHAAAAAAARRRRGGGEEE!!!!!" Entaru ran into the fray, his Grey Knights and the remainder of the front line following close behind.
This fight for the city had just changed....
It had become a cleansing.
-
Chronin almost face-palmed when his commander still charged at the chaos troops. This, is the Imperium; where the commander dies before the soldier, our emperor is literally attached to his throne, and religion is a universal excuse for carnage; what can ya' do? he mused before following suit and switching between killing chaos or Tau, whichever is closer...
-
Luke approached the transport as it took off and attacked it with his claws trying to ground it temporarily "grr... this isnt working" luke then thought of a plan and landed on top of the transport digging his claws into he hull as hard as he could hopefully gaining the pilots attention he held on as hard as he could waiting for the transport to land "you aint leaving yet..."
-
The Transport responded, by firing a lance of plasma and splashing Weedon off the top of it. If the dang thing will fly, an annoying Scout Marine will not ground it.
___________
Malal stormed out of his transport and pointed a finger at the Imperial General.
"YOUR SOUL SHALL BE MINE!" He yelled as he charged the General and his bodyguards with his Crozius powered up.

The hammerhead fired again, the crackle of electronic discharge emanating from the long barreled railgun... Bringing the skimmer around in the lowest arc possible, Tel´vani manouevered until she was right behind the Banechoppa, the sleek-hulled hammerhead obscured by he clouds of black smoke and the very large engine stacks... Another salvo of smart missiles launched, as the railgun charged up for another shot... The missile flew high into the air, curving around the banechoppa before flzing down and striking at open view slits and weapon ports...
Back at the scene of mad Ork violence, Gurt wrestled with a speedfreak biker... He had the other Ork in a stranglehold, and was currently attempting to steal his bike, kill him, or both... Finally he caught the biker across the head with a length of metal piping, and jumped onto the bike... He grunted in disatisfaction.... "Dis hunka junks got naw upgradez...." he snorted, twisting the throttle "It ´ad betta drive fast to make up fer it!"

As Calico was eating his food he heard something over the others' radios. "Some one just latched onto us, we blasted him though. Continuing on schedule." The men at the table burst out into laughter and started talking about it. "Who would try to hitch a ride like that? I mean seriously, we're going to enter hyper speed to get where we're going. He would have just flown off." "Hyper speed...I was never good with dealing with that..." Calico finished eating and turned to walk off when someone called to him. "Hey, puppy, roll over! Or do a backflip!" He turned back to them, stuck his nose up, turned back around and walked off.

Entaru roared in defiance at the challeger and powered up his Neuro-Claw. "YOUR TAINT WILL BE PURGED HERETIC!! FOR THE EMPEROR!!!" Entaru rammed into the Chaos Lord and swung his claw in attempt to grapple him.

The Big Mek was blasted backwards in his seat, howling in pain as his eyes were seared from his head. The Banechoppa wasn't doing so well anymore. The gretchins and Orks inside had gone into a panic and were abandoning ship. A few jumped onto the Hammerhead and began chopping at it but many simply fled into the fray. The Big Mek inside growled and aimed the main cannon using his hearing and his last known location of the gunship. With a prayer to Mork...he fired.
Knawgril's boyz tore through the Tau lines like a scythe through wheat. Had their commander been present the Tau might have stood a better chance. Instead the Orks flooded over the front and second line and were beginning to wash over the Artillery line.
The Green Tide had risen...

Tel´vani aimed the railgun squarely into the back of the banechoppa, as the powerfull gun charged up to fire another solid shot. A flicker of movement caught her well-trained eye, and she stopped the fire preparation... Frowning Tel´vani reached forward and pressed a few buttons as well as giving a voice command to the Hammherhead AI "Infra-red, enhance 125%..."
The image on her view screen zoomed in, and removed the black clouds of obscuring smoke. What remained, was the barrel of an enormous cannon, now swiveled to point directly at the hammerhead cockpit...
"Oh Frack"
As the cannon fired with an almight BOOM, Tel´vani performed the move that had won her second-grade pilot honours, and then almost lost her the first-grade honours. The Hammerhead swerved sharply, engines swivveling and blasting a stream of superheated ion particles...
The MegaKannon shell hit the skimmer just as it started to gain height, one engine shredded in an instant with an almoght explosion... The Hammerhead, like a strikken bird, started to spin down towards the ground... trailing smoke and flames behind it...

Back on the Tau front lines, Gurt was driving along a trench, spiked Bike wheels churning up Tau firewarriors as they tried to flee... He laughed manically, oilz black smoke pouring out of the bike exhausts as he burst out of the trench, straight in front of the Boss... Giving a mock salute, Gurt revved the bike into a wheelie and gunned down another firewarrior... "Run little Blue ´hummies... RUN!.. GZAHHAHAHAAA!"
Inside the cockpit, Tel´vani swore again, as the ground rushed up to meet her view screen....

The Chaos Lord raised his crozius to deflect the neuro claw, and spun with a backhanded slap to forcefully gain some space on the Imperial dog.

Entaru swerved out of the way and jumped backward. With a grimace, he lifted his Ripper and fired twice at the Chaos Lord.
