I have a video I recorded and I want it to play faster than it normally would. Can anyone tell me how to make a video faster, whether it's through an editing program or whatever?
I need the actual video made faster permanently, not just temporarily while viewing it. To make it look like the video is "fast forwarding" when it plays.

Oooh, thats pretty easy, what editing software do you use?

I have Windows Live Movie Maker (which sucks) and iMovie version 8.

Well in Windows Movie Maker, all you have to do is go to effects and use the Speed x2, but I don't know how diffrent iMovie and Windows Live Movie Maker is... Sorry.
