I wouldn't know anything about this myself, but I do like using review ratings as a guide when I go product shopping in a field I have never touched upon before, here are some to look through:

I appreciate it!

No problem. I know there are a couple artists here on TFF that use them a lot too, so you could ask a few of the pros about them too 8D.

Wacom is the most popular brand, though I've heard of a couple lesser-known brands working just as well.
I have a Wacom Bamboo Fun myself, and I like it. The Intuos is better, but more expensive. As far as size goes, I really like the size of mine, which has a 6x8 drawing area.

Wacom Tablet is AWESOMESAUCE and will be your buddy forever
Those brand of Wacom is best for me...
Suggest:
If you really want more drawing space..go to intuos4 medium or Large ( I plan to get new Intuso4 Large for myself)
If you really want more a space on the desk and beginner drawing  go to Bamboo as they suggest to cuz it cheap.
nao I have a Bamboo Touch/Pen Tablet

wow, same thing happen to me when I ordered mine Tablet with super HYPER rush x_x

I'd just definitely not recommend getting a "small" tablet, or pretty much anything smaller than the 6x8 size. It makes your lines come out really shaky looking and it can just be more difficult to use.

Yea, I was definitely planning on getting a big surface. I don't work well with small surfaces.
