Title: I'm new here and I need some help. plz?

Well, I just decided to become a furry, but I don't know what species I want to be.
I can think of a few, but I also think they're too common.
Lion, Panther, Leopard, Tiger, fox, or some sort of dog.
Is there anything else I need to know to become a furry?
I've already read loads of stories and they have finaly convinced me of going furry.

Oh, and I don't really know how the forums work yet.
But I love the emoticons  :D !

Well you could always try one of them tests online or just think which species suits you the most or is most like you

Hmmm...  Picking a species can be tricky.  I'd say associate your personality with a few animals and go from there.  You can always make a hybrid of some sort.

I found that "lions are social, leopards are loners" so I'm the lather.

Im Timmy the fox, the only Royal Cutefox around here hehe... and i never say no to get a new friend btw ;)

For tha species, just choose the one you feel most comfortable with, a good way to find the best species is to first look at which species applies best for your personality ;)

Play around with various species, try making up a hybrid...just have fun! Also, I don't think there is any rule saying you have to have just one fursona. I'm working on my white tiger, Cira Altacia but I've also played with a fox character named Fenchurch, and I'd love to have a unicorn fursona as well. I guess furry is all about fun for me, and I tend to overdo fun. ;)

Think carefully on what you want your fursona to be like and stuffs. You can have more than one like some furs choose too.  :3

Hiya Shaye! Welcome to the furry forums! Picking a fursona can be tough, there are even some who change them regularly until they find one that they like. Find one that suits your personality.
