Title: Soundclick!
Post by: Moongaze on March 19, 2010, 10:20:09 PM
Gentlemen.....

BEHOLD!!

My Soundclick page!

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=990353

Ok, there are 3 tracks on there.

Exile is actually a complete intro to a doom metal song I'm working on.

The second one is a big compiled mish mash of riffs.  Some go with each other...  Some don't...  The acoustic is mainly random chord exchanges...  And I had no idea what to do with it so I put it on Soundclick.  The name is an inside joke.  A zen thing...

The third was a practice drum beat I took from Opeth's "Deliverence."

Software used:

Audacity, Acoustica Beatcraft.

Equipment: Ibanez SA 120, Schecter C-7 Hellraiser, Takamine G series Acoustic, Marshall MG50 DFX, Vox VT50, Boss MT-2 distortion, Boss CS-3 Compressor.

Enjoy!

sounds good so far! keep it up, you have a natural tallent for keeping time. which, i might add, is fairly hard to do without a met or drums. interesting chords too, they sound great together! exile would sound so sick if it let to some crazy heavyness.

Thank you for the kind comments.  I can't describe my sense of rhythm and timing.  I'm mostly self taught with only 5 (give or take) a few lessons.  I can keep a constant beat in my head at almost all times.  I really would like to take this gift somewhere.

I need a better mic.  Once I do, you guys can hear me sing! o.O

ive played since the seventh grade (about 9 years ago) and really wish i couldve taken it somewhere. i was in a few bands, but juvenile arthritis put a stop to that right away. i can still play, but for only about 45 minutes at a time  :'(

Ouch...  That really sucks...  That's something that pop into my mind sometimes...  If I get arthritis I get arthritis.  Do want it to happen?  No.  But there's always that possibility.

It's very simple.  You just make an account you make a band profile.  From there you can upload your tracks.  BUT.  They have to be in mp3 format.  If you don't have mp3 format go to www.zamzar.com and you can convert audio files to mp3 for free.

/\ oh no theres a much easier way of converting (and more accesible without having to waste bandwidth on my modem >.>) it to MP3's, i just use audacity with the LAME plugin, also VERYYYYYY good for editing, recording and exporting into FL studio
