Title: If you was a 80's kid what cartoon do you remember the most

As some of you might know it was my birthday the other day and i got a cool little prezzy

it was the dvd box set of Thundercats (thank you mummy and daddy)...as a kid i was mad on thundercats and the likes of transformers
i was just wondering (if you was born in the 80's and remember them) what cartoon you grew up on   :)

Not a series, but I watched the movie "The Last Unicorn" at least once a day when I was little :D

ooh so many, i would say about 2 thirds of the list dragnmastralex put up and teknoman, i think its called Ozma of Oz (based on wizard of oz) and so many but my memory sux cos im gettin old (28 D: )

Outlanders by Johi Manabe....

saw it once on satelite. and was able tyo get the complete series on VHS (now lost)... but it has been out of print so long, that they dont have it on DVD.... cant find the series anywhere atm, except the original manga..

i also used to watch alot of flinstones even though i never liked it that much (same goes for the jetsons lol) and was shocked recently to see pics of an old black and white TV ad where they sponsored cigarettes D: talk about not knowing lol

And everyone thinks I'm crazy, but... I've never actually seen a single episode of TMNT either.  :peek:

I grew up on Garfield, Bugs Bunny, Animaniacs (those were old, right? I don't remember how long ago they were on...), and a bunch of Disney cartoons I can't really remember...

Garfield the cartoon I think came on in the early 90s, along with Animaniacs. Looney Toons was FREAKING ASWOME! We used to have a taped episode that had a commercial for the Cogate pump (when it first came out) Sadly the show was taken off the air cause it was too "violent"  arf


And you're not the only one, I get people saying HOW DO YOU LIVE/SURVIVE? I just give them a weird look and say "uhhh easily"

The news is far worse.

Loony Toons go far back.
I remember some other cartoons that I watched that go back too.
Kimba the white lion.
Disney shorts like Loony toons.
Speed Racer.
Pink Panther.
Bird Man.
Space Ghost .

OMG! I don't think there was a cartoon I DIDN'T watch. I had cable so I had the beginnings of Cartoon network.  And there was a time that major networks ran cartoons from 8 am to about noon on Saturday.  I miss the "Saturday Morning" cartoon.

But now I watch reruns on Nick, CN, Boomarang, Nick Toons, Toon Disney, and every other channel I can get.

even to this day. i meet  Lynne Lipton
once and i all most melted to the floor.
she loved my drawings of Cheetara
but  seed they wear to grafik:(

I remember voltron it was a good cartoon. they are playing it now on cartoon network im not sure what time they play it but im sure you can look it up on there web site.

As a kid my favorite show was the "my little pony" cartoon. ^_^;
Later on i loved watching all the dinosaur themed cartoons...Denver the last dinosaur, Dino Riders, Dinosaucers...

Does anyone remember the old cartoons of the NES (Nintendo) games such as the Super Mario Brothers Super Show (and any related series that were quick to follow), the Legend of Zelda series, Mega Man (not the newer versions that have been coming out), and even the two Sonic the Hedgehog series that came out simultaneously?

I remember the Super Mario Brothers Super Show and the two Sonic series...loved those.
Never saw Megaman or the Legend of Zelda series. (But i do know the famous "excuuuuuse me Princess" line.)

I found the complete Captain N: The Game Master series on DVD... There were only two seasons. I'd like to find the Legend of Zelda series also..
