Elemental Destruction is a story based off of the "Unidentified" element on the periodic table called Ununseptium. Ununseptium is one of the most radioactive and unstable elements on the planet. Considering that the deterioration of the element is extremely fast, no successful half-lives have been stabilized long enough to get identify the chemical and physical properties of Ununseptium. Currently, the Russians are attempting to study this mysterious element in order to find more information.
In the story, when the Russians become successful in their tests, they find out that Ununseptium is the most reactive element in the world, causing an astronomical explosion if it comes in contact with Oxygen, one large enough to blow up almost half of Russia, if produced in large amounts, so before anyone could use the element for bad purposes, the scientists try desperately to destroy their research. Unfortunately, word was leaked to the Russian government of such a destructive force, so they seized the research and put the scientist to work to create more Ununseptium.
Soon, America found out about the plan and tried to create Ununseptium of their own to match the Russians, but when the element was stabilized in test labs and produced in large amounts, the air-tight seal was punctured in the manufacturing plant, causing most of America to be annihilated, while the borders of Mexico and Canada were destroyed as well. Only the most Eastern states were able to escape to Europe.
With war dawning, the EU decides to pitch in most of their resources in a war effort to stop Russia. Now, it is up to the soldiers of this massive army to stop all out Armageddon from occurring, even some Russians have formed a rebellion in order to stop the madness of the Russian government. On the opposing force, the Russians gather up their elite Spentsnaz soldiers to guard the various Ununseptium plants while the regular army protects major cities and other sites. If they do not stop Russia before they create enough Ununseptium to destroy the rest of Europe, then the world is at the mercy of the Russian government.

In a large British training camp, Howl was instructing other soldiers on how to aim correctly. "No no, hold it like this, and use the sights for once, don't want to look like a mindless twat out on the battlefield!" The private nodded and shot, hitting his target in the center mass. "Alright, nice shot. Just keep on practicing and you'll be picking off Russian's blindfolded. I'm going off for a cup of coffee." Howl ran off to the mess hall and grabbed a hot cup of coffee.

Trauss backhands a man across the face; the chair he is tied to almost tips over. The man was wearing a russian military uniform, his face badly beaten and bloody. "I'm only asking one more time!" barked Trauss, holding a picture of Aeris infront of the man's face. "Where is she?!" "I know nothing!" pleaded the man. Trauss bats him again. "I know you were on the team that extracted her, damnit!" said Trauss rubbing his knuckles. "You hit like girl!" scoffed the man. Trauss walked to his black trench coat that lay over a table behind him and took out his 9mm and walked back. "You're useless to me then," he sighed cocking the 9mm. A worried look came about the man as the gun was pressed to his head. "Wait!" begged the man. "I talk!" Trauss lowered the gun. "Your girlfriend, we were ord-" A sniper rifle round tears through the window in the room and through his skull before he could finish. Trauss swore under his breath before quickly grabbing his things and jumping out a window as men poured into the room.
-
On Russian radios, they speak of the current troubles.
"Command, we have seen another civilian running around armed, he is most likely a rebel!"
"Then apprehend him, find out what he's after."
"Yes, sir!"
-
Trauss sprints down a road void of life, several soldiers on his tail. A few bullets strike Trauss; not being silver they barely left a burn mark. He rounded a corner and ducked into a nearby alleyway and hid behind a dumpster. Trauss brushed off the bullets as five soldiers stood at the mouth of the alley way. The man in the middle silently signaled for the team to move in. All but the head of the group walked in a column formation down the alley; nearing the dumpster Trauss was behind. The dumpster was off the wall enough to hide between it and the wall, but angled diagonally facing the opening deeper into the alley. As the soldiers walked deeper into the alley, Trauss hid silently behind the dumpster.
-
With the soldiers moving in silently, they scanned the area around them. The only object protruding from the ally walls was the dumpster. So, they moved in to check it out. The squad leader opened up the dumpster and turned his face away from the acute stench irradiating from the trash. Thinking that the man they were pursuing had disappeared, they got back on their radio, "Command, the area is clear." "Good, now return to your regular positions." "Yes, sir." Then they ran off, back to the base.
Back at the British training camp, Howl was sipping on his coffee while mingling with another soldier. "So those poor yanks have been blown to bits, have they?" "That's right, Howl." "A shame, even with all the bad publicity. At least the blokes up in Canada and down in Mexico only got their borders destroyed instead of their whole country."
-
Trauss heard the radio transmission and then the soldiers leaving. He sighed in relief and creeped out of the alley. He noticed the sun was setting and he was tired; he decided to head home to rest.
An hour of walking, he reached a small house. Rather than going in the front he went around the side into the back. He opened the back door and stepped over a tripwire as he went inside closing the door behind him. He walked down the hallway and into a room; with a weapon rack mounted on the wall. The rack was mostly barren other than a hunting rifle and a few russian weapons.
He tossed his 9mm onto a table under the rack; it's landing disturbed the strewn about items, like cell phones, gun parts, bullets, pipes and wires. He tore off his trench coat and tossed it on the bedpost on his bed as he plopped down on the bed. He turned his head to a picture frame of him and his friends. He grabbed it and held it over his face as he lay in bed. "Goodbye..." He set the picture back down on the nightstand and fell asleep.

Trauss shot up out of bed in a cold sweat; knife in hand. "Just a dream..." he muttered breathing deeply. Trauss got up and put on his trench coat. He looked at the clock on his nightstand. "12:47PM" He tucked his knife back into the bottom of his boot and left the house.
Trauss walked into a bar in town, he sat in his usual spot. The room was full of people, including a few soldiers. The bartender noticed him and slid him his usual glass of cola ontop of a napkin. Trauss took a drink and crumpled the napkin in his hand before setting a few rubles down in it's place and left.
Trauss examined a note that was hidden in the napkin outside the bar. It read "7:15A-Cheryll tower-5k+info" Trauss burnt the note, curious of the "Info" as he walked into the night towards home.
-
"Well, let's hope that we don't turn out the same as America." Said the Lieutenant. "Oi, but it's up to us on the front-lines to ensure it doesn't happen." After that, Howl took out a cigarette and put it in his mouth, then lighting it up and blowing out smoke. "Some people are putting dosh on the table saying that we're going to loose. But we'll show those pricks, won't we?"
On Trauss's way back, a couple of patrols stopped him. "Hey, you, over here!"
-
((Stange, I don't even know how to merge threads :O))
Trauss sighed as walked over the the patrol. "Yes? Did I do something wrong?"
-
(It does it automatically if you post a comment when the latest comment in the thread was yours. Now, try to keep OOC talk in the OOC thread. I'm not scolding you or anything, but I don't want it to become a habit)
The patrol shook his head and spoke in a very low tone, just above whispering. "No, we're part of the resistance, I'm Абрам (It's Abram translated), and this is Семён (Semyon translated). Right now, we have some vital information for you, but we must speak in private. Follow me." Абрам walked off with Семён into an abandoned restaurant.
-
Trauss shocked, and aroused by a sudden sense of curiousity blindly followed the two into the restaurant.
-
The Lieutenant chuckled. "Well, let's not get too cocky, Howl. Right now, you should get back out to the training fields, where all the FNGs are waiting." Howl sighed. "Ugh, well, I guess I should. See ya around."
Back in Russia, when they got inside, Абрам looked around to make sure nobody was watching. "I've seen you out there, American, and ya got some talent, yet our comrades fight with your same spirit and are still loosing. But we are tougher then rock and will crush those evil men!" Семён interrupted by clearing his throat. "Абрам, the info." Абрам blushed. "R-right, well, before I say the info, can you tell us your name?"
-
Trauss hesitated; thoughts racing through his mind in an instant. "My name? Who ARE these guys? What if their lieing? What if they know something about Aeris?! Tell them! NO! Can I trust them?! What if-" "Trauss...My name is Trauss," he spoke.
-
Абрам nodded. "Trauss, a unique name, but suiting. Anyway, look at these." He got out some papers and handed them to Trauss, they were all in Russian. "They say that all guards are to leave the area due to immanent bombing. Do you realize what this means?! They are going to test the Ununseptium on this city! The government knows that most of the big rebel outposts are here, so we are trying to get all rebels out of here to meet up with the EU."
-
Trauss was shocked at hearing this. "A-are you serious?!" asked Trauss unbelieving. "What about the civilians?! Do they not care anymore?!" Trauss stuck one hand in his tranch coat and put his other hand on his head and paced back and forth. His hand firmly grasped the picture of Aeris, stroking it with his thumb in his pocket. "When is it going to happen? I have business here," Trauss spoke trying to calm himself.
-
Семён stood up. "We have two days." He looked out the window. "The civilians won't matter if they rule the world..."
-
Trauss grunts uneasily. "Fine," He ran his hand down his face and looked at the door then back at the two men. "I'm sorry, but I have business to attend to, I just picked up a contract here, it needs to be done before I leave," Trauss scribbled something on a piece of paper he took from his pocket, he extended it to the men. "If my help is that important to you, meet me at my place noon tomarrow, these are directions,"
-
Абрам took the paper and smiled. "We shall be their, comrade."
-
Trauss looked up; Cheryll tower above him, sun rising behind it. He looked down at his watch. "6:40" Trauss worked his way up to the top of the tower. Upon reaching the top he looked out into the distance; several snow covered roof tops of an almost barren looking city.
Trauss noticed a sniper rifle with a note attached. He grabbed the note and began to read it. "A convoy of troops is being moved out of the city. At 7:15 AM they will approach from the east and head west down the road parallel to this tower. An armored unit was rumored to be protecting the convoy, be warned. Five thousand rubles and information on a top secret russian plan will be the reward. Good luck"
"Top secret plan...?" Trauss muttered looking back at his watch. "6:55...Not enough time to prepare for that tank...Let's just hope it doesn't show..."

I posye din the OOC am I okay to post now?

"THWANK!" That was the sound that everyone heard across the firing range as Howl's top marksmen landed head-shots on every target in the shoot range. "Great! You've done very well!" The soldier nodded. "It was all thanks to you, sir." Howl smiled. "Well, I wouldn't say that, I think you had a little bit to do with it, like...you pulled the trigger!" They both laughed at that, then another man ran up to Howl. "Sir, your needed in the Commander's tent!" Howl thought for a moment, "Why would he need me? Well, I'll find out soon." "Thank you, soldier. I'll make my way to his tent immediately." Then the man ran off.
(Meanwhile, in Russia)
A convoy of Russian soldiers rode down the street, unaware of Trauss. But in the midst of all the commotion, a larger sound could be heard, the sound of moving tracks and a monstrous engine. It was a Russian T72 tank.

A shiver of fear ran up Trauss' spine as he looked the tank down through the scope of his rifle. "Not good..." He then examined the rest of the convoy, it contained three covered troop trucks in between two jeeps with mounted machineguns and the tank following up from behind. Trauss put his sights on the tank commander as he looked around sticking out of the top of the tank. "Here we go..." he muttered taking in a deep breath. He took the first shot; it hit the commander in the head. The convoy screeched to a stop, sliding on the snowy roads a bit. A second shot; tearing through the chest of the first jeep driver. A third, a fourth; both tearing into the men on the turrets. Soldiers began to pour out of the trucks and two quickly jumped onto the turrets. The driver of jeep in the back peeled out and drove to the front but before he got there recieved a fifth shot in the chest and lost control running over a few soldiers then plowing into the lead jeep. Trauss ducked and began to reload hearing soldiers panic.
-
Ross had just arrived at the camp when the voice over the megaphone announced the arrival of enemy trucks at the camp.
-
Howl walked into the commanders tent, he was waiting with a cigar in his mouth and his feet on the top of his desk. There was a name tag on the desk with the words, "Commander Archer" writer on it. "Ah, Howl, you've come." Howl nodded. "Yes, sir, you want to see me?" The commander got up. "Well, there seems to be a large amount of Russian resistance members at the city of Saratov. Apparently, the Russian government plans to test their Ununseptium there to make sure it works. I want you and a group of men to get in there and evacuate the area of all resistance members." Howl raised an eyebrow. "How long do we have?" "When you arrive, you'll have a day and a half." Howl was baffled and thought, "A DAY?! ARE YOU INSANE?!" But he didn't show it on his face. "Yes, sir. I will try my best." "Good, I'm counting on you, and don't forget-" Suddenly, the intercoms announced the presence of enemy trucks at the base. "I'll get my rifle." With that said, Howl ran off to the armory, where he geared up and walked to the camp entrance.
(Meanwhile, in Saratov)
All the shooting attracted other Russian guards, as they quickly began to seek out the source of the shooting.
-
Trauss had reloaded and looked back towards the troops. "More of them?!" he muttered shocked. With only three clips of five rounds plus one in the rifle he had to make them count. He picked off some more drivers and people manning the mounted weapons with the next clip and ducked to reload again. The troops continued to scramble; not knowing where the shots were comming from. The tank began to move to the front of the convoy, several men hiding behind it. "Sounds like the tanks moving..." Trauss muttered to himself before looking back down at them. He aimed at a lone sniper who was searching windows from the back then trained his sights on another lone soldier. He lined up a head shot and pulled the trigger. The gun made a wierd clicking noise; it had jammed up.
-
All of the noise got Абрам and Семён's attention. "That must be Trauss, let's go." Семён nodded and grabbed his gun, running off into the battle.
-
Trauss smacked the rifle, trying to unjam it but to no avail. "Piece of crap!" Shouted Trauss. He dislodged the clip and pulled back the bolt action a few times until a bullet fell out and rolled across the floor. Trauss popped a new clip in and looked back out at the convoy. More people were on the turrets. He began to line his sights on one when he noticed a soldier shouting and pointing in his direction; his heart skipped a beat. He quickly shot the man in the chest, hoping noone saw him. Suddenly bullets started flying at him, chipping the concrete tower. The bullet fire was so heavy it began to pierce through the concrete. Trauss moved away from that portion of the wall when everything went silent. He looked out of a freshly made hole in the wall and saw a dreaded sight; the tank was looking directly at him.
Without thinking Trauss rolled into the stairwell of the tower and tumbled down the steps. He heard the tank fire; a huge explosion sounded after. The tower was obliterated, now falling down on Trauss. He hurried down the rest of the stairs and dove into an open room. He scrambled to his feet and looked around, the room was empty. Suddenly the wall caved in and the tank rolled through. "Dammit!" Trauss shouted. He darted for the door and barreled through them. He was met by several dozen soldiers, weapons trained on him. Trauss held his hands in the air; a few soldiers moved towards him cautiously.
-
Suddenly, large amounts of gunshots were heard and the Russian soldiers all fell to the ground, their backs like Swiss cheese. It was Семён with a heavy machine gun. Абрам ran up to Trauss. "There you are!" While helping him up, he muttered, "Вы не должны иметь напали на армии солдат! Что вы собирались?!" The tank's main gun began to turn in their direction, and Абрам quickly picked up Trauss and ran, a round just missing them.
-
"Thanks for the help!" said Trauss running down the street with Семён and Абрам; another round flying over their heads. The round hit a building near them and sent rubble across the road. "Unless you guys have something to take that thing out with, I suggest we get out of here!" shouted Trauss. "Meet me at my place!"
-
"Don't worry, we've got this handled." After Trauss had ran away, he pulled out a remote detonator and pushed the button, causing a huge explosion in the whole road. The tank had been obliterated, so they left to Trauss's place.
-
Ross was cornered by three Russian infantry before he could draw his pistol and backed to a corner "Oh shi..."
-
-=Meanwhile, at the British base=-
The three infantry that were cornering Ross were shot and fell the ground. It was Howl, with his scoped assault rifle, picking off enemy soldiers. When he saw Ross, he waved to him. "HEY YOU! GET OVER HERE!"
-
Ross dashed over to Howl, "Thanks for saving my ass back there" said Ross, panting
-
He nodded. "Don't mention it." Then he began to shoot more of the Russians. "What's your name, kid?"
-
Ross fell to the ground bewildered as a bullet whizzed past his head "Ross... My name's Ross"
-
"Well, Ross, you mind finding a better gun and helping me out? These pricks are a bit tougher then I expected." More rounds flew past his head and he took cover behind sandbags, threw a grenade over them, and reloaded his rifle.
-
Ross unholstered his Makarov and fired three rounds at the Russians, none of which hit "If you've got a better gun on you I'd happily use it"
-
Howl shook his head. "I'm afraid all I've got is my rifle and side-arm, but if you can find a dead guy, I'm pretty sure that mate won't be needing his supplies."
-
Ross looked at a dead Russian about ten feet away "Here's hoping" he said before running towards the corpse
-
"Alright, COVERING FIRE!" He got up and started spraying at the Russian soldiers, attracting their attention. "GO! NOW'S YOUR CHANCE!"
-
Ross quickly grabbed the Ak47 and ducked behind some near bye sanbags "Holy crap!!! That was awesome! Did you see that!?"
-
"JUST SHUT YOUR BLOODY MOUTH AND SHOOT!" More bullets were hitting the sandbags behind Howl, and a couple grenades would land next to him every minute or so, while he desperately tried to throw them back and reload.
-
Ross fired about twelve rounds from his AK, one of which hit a Russian in the foot and took him to the ground "Hey! I got one!!"
-
"Try aiming at them, not the ground!" He popped off another Russian's head before running up to Ross. "Look, just switch the gun to semi-auto, aim down the sights and shoot at their chest. Don't go crazy with the gun, it's got one hell of a recoil."
-
Trauss ran down the road along the sidewalk. After a bit of running he stopped and slid a bit before reaching a trashbin. He reached inside and pulled out a brown paper bag. He looked inside it and pulled out a wad of cash and then a note. "Look under the bin" read the note. Trauss crouched down and reached under the trashbin and pulled out a file that had been taped to the bottom. He flipped it over, revealing a large "Top-Secret" stamp plaster acrossed it. He stowed away the cash and flipped open the folder. Trauss' gut sank as he saw in big bolded letters the words "Project Aeris". Overwhelmed with emotions he dropped the folder; not moving an inch. Thoughts ran through his mind again. "Project Aeris?! Could it be?! It can't be! Where did they find this?! How could this be!?!?" The content spilled out of the folder and onto the ground, a small picture of Aeris with an unhappy disposition stuck into the snow.
Trauss pulled himself togather, shaking his head fiercly. He gathered the contents of the folder and put it back in the folder when he noticed the picture. He grabbed it and gazed upon it, noticing Aeris' face was unhappy. "W-What have they done to you to make you look so unhappy?!" he muttered angrily. Trauss lost himself in memories of him and Aeris togather. "Why are you always so happy?" asked Trauss leaning on the wall outside his room. "Wha'dya mean? I'm always this happy,"Aeris replied with a smile. "You're never sad then, huh?" he said looking at her. "I can never be sad when I'm with you..." She said with another smile. Those words echoed through Trauss' mind. He crushed the picture in his hands out of a sudden burst of anger. "I'll make them pay for making you so unhappy!" Trauss roared into the empty streets.
Trauss tucked the folder into his coat and ran wildly back to his hideout.
-
Ross fiddled around with the fire selector, finally getting it into semi auto, before firing another three rounds, two of which took down Russians "HELL YEAH!!!"
-
With British tanks firing upon the Russian positions, they withdrew from the army base. "YEA! TAKE THAT YA STUPID PRICKS!"
(Meanwhile, in Saratov)
When they reached the hideout of Trauss, Абрам knocked on the door. "Hey, Trauss, it's us!"
-
"Oh my god... Thanks man" said Ross extending his hand
-
He smiled and shook his hand. "Don't mention it. I haven't been able to properly introduce myself, I am Staff Sergent Howl. I teach expert level fire-arms training and I'm in control of a unit of elite marksmen."
-
"Well you seem like a good person to teach it" laughed Ross, sloping down against the sandbags
-
Trauss rounded a corner and saw Абрам and Семён knocking on his door. "Oh, it's you guys...Thanks for the help back there, it's much appreciated," he said as he signaled for them to walk around back. They followed him back as he opened the door, stepping over the tripwire behind it. "Watch that, this whole place is rigged, mind your toes," Trauss said, pointing to the tripwire attached to an IED on the wall. He hurried down the hall into his room, he took out the file and tossed it on the table. He then grabbed a duffle bag from under the bed and opened it wide and placed it on the bed. He went to the weapon rack and grabbed his Hunting Rifle and stowed it in the bag along with a box of rounds for it.
Trauss then checked his 9mm's ammo and grabbed what few mags there were on the table and stowed them and a few IEDs in the bag. He grabbed the picture on his night stand and set it in the bag aswell before zipping it up.
-
"Thank you for the compliment, you may join my unit if you'd like, unless of course, your not 18 yet?"
(Meanwhile, in Saratov)
Абрам and Семён looked at each other and stepped over the tripwire, admiring his traps. "Well, you've certainly got yourself set up here, yet I don't think one little hide-out will make too much of a difference against a whole country..." Семён slapped Абрам on the back of the head. "Ahem!" "Right, we should get going, anything you need help carrying?"
-
Trauss grabbed the folder on the table and opened it brushing the debri on the table aside. "No thanks, I can handle it," replied Trauss taking the papers from the folder and examining it. Something caught his eye, but it was in Russian. He picked it up and showed it to Абрам and Семён. "Can you guys make this out?" asked Trauss.
The paper read."
-
Семён looked at the paper with an eyebrow raised, "It says:
Day 1: Girl was brought to a tearing the promises it would be that I had sought.
Day 2: After interrogation we found out her name was 'Aeris', in the interrogation she asked for a human entitled 'Trauss' repeatedly. Probably her friend.
Day 3: Aeris suddenly broke from her cell with great force, it was no surprise, to our knowledge. It was yспокоительное and returned to a more severe punishment cell."
Абрам and Семён exchanged looks. "Do you know this 'Aeris'?"
-
When Trauss heard Aeris' name he shuddered, eyes almost watering. "A-Aeris?! What about her?! Does it say where she is?! What their doing to her?!" barked Trauss suddelny. "There has to be something more!"
-
"Came down! This is all it says, the person who gave the contract obviously knows many things about you and this Aeris character. This person has probably met you before or is taking interest in you. Either way, these papers are just a teaser of what real information lies further ahead." Said Семён, his tone very stern.
-
Trauss took the paper back and put it back into the folder then put the folder into his coat. He then somewhat angerily put the duffle bag over his shoulder. "Didn't you have so-" Trauss stopped hearing a footstep crunch in the snow outside. Suddenly the hideout became under fire from several dozen soldiers outside. Sounds of choppers over head and footsteps from the roof could be heard. "We were followed!" shouted Trauss over the hail of bullets. He flipped up his bed and put it infront of him and the others; its steel bottom pinged with bullets hitting it. "We have to get out of here!" Said Trauss; just before the firing halted.
Streams of light lit up the room, piercing the room through the holes in everything. Just then he heard footsteps approach, followed by various explosions. "We need to get to the kitchen, theres a trap door," said Trauss moving towards the door in a crouched position.
-
Абрам and Семён followed Trauss, but soldiers had already broken in, so they began to fire back, killing the first attack squadron. Then they took cover next to Trauss. "So, how many of them do you think there are?"
-
"Uhm... you do know I'm not even in the army right?" said Ross, put off by the sudden, informal invite.
-
"There's too many, that's for sure, you guys keep going to the kitchen, it's just up ahead, get in the trapdoor, it leads to the sewers under ground, I have something I need to do first, GO!" said Trauss standing up and jumping over the bed back into the room.
-
Howl chuckled and patted Ross on the shoulder."That doesn't mean anything, my father is a Field Marshal, that's as high as you can get in the British army. Come, I'll show you his tent."
(MEANWHILE, IN SARATOV)
"Good luck, comrade, best of luck to you." With that said, Абрам and Семён both knew he would need more then just luck, but they did as they were told and went to the trap door.
-
Trauss darted down the hall and slid into his room and frantically crawled towards the nightstand. He knocked it aside revealing a small keypad. Trauss punched in a few numbers and a few beeps were heard following. Trauss got to his feet and bolted out of the room and down the hallway towards the kitchen when two men burst through the ceiling, one in front of and behind Trauss. Using his momentum Trauss smacked the gun from the guy in front of him up and punches him in the gut. He then twists around behind him and kicks him towards the other guy before running again. He got to the trap door and jumped down the ladder that went about twelve feet into the sewers. He hit the ground and rolled so his legs werent broken. But he still had the wind knocked out of him. A few moments later a massive explosion was heard. His entire hideout was obliterated.
-
When the explosion went off, they ran back to the hideout, finding Trauss. "Oh, thank god, I thought you were still in there. Glad to see that your alive, but we must move before they send more troops."
-
"Okay then... I guess" said Ross, feeling in dept to Howl for the help in the middle of the firefight
-
Trauss got to his feet and saw Абрам and Семён. "Alright, lets get moving, there should be an exit a few hundred yards down that way," Trauss said dusting himself off then pointing behind Абрам and Семён. They all started walking, after a minute or so Trauss asked something. "So, you guys are with the resistance, huh? So what's the deal with those soldiers, what are they up to?"
-
Семён smiled. "What, besides trying to blow up a whole city? Well, they are attempting to eradicate all rebellion forces and drive on to the EU military bases at the edge of Russia. If the tests are successful, then the government should be able to make multiple countries submit-" Абрам butted in, "France will probably surrender first! Ha ha...." Семён slapped him on the back of the head. "Yes, as you can probably see, he's not exactly as bright as most people." "What?! I am too!" "Right, cracking stupid jokes and comments about something of complete seriousness is considered clever? No, it's just annoying."
(MEANWHILE, AT THE BRITISH ARMY BASE)
Giving him a big smile, he walked him to his father's tent, "Try not to stammer when you talk to him, grovel, and for god sake, don't be a twat and look at the ground when talking to him. It always makes him angry." Then Howl waltzed in, gave his father a salute then sat down. "Excuse my interruption, father, but I would find this boy a very large asset to my unit, he's quite the marksmen when he puts his mind to it." The General looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "Well...do you have any military history?"
-
"EU?" asked Trauss. "You said that before, what is it?"
-
Ross stoppped hesitantly for e second "No sir, just got caught up in the firefight, those Russians can be quite tough to deal with when they put their minds to it" said Ross, using what ever acting skills he had.
-
"The European Union, ever since America got blown up, they've had to do their best to stop the Russians. Right now, they are our only hope."
(MEANWHILE, IN THE BRITISH ARMY BASE)
The general nodded, "You've got that right. How well did this boy do in the fire-fight?" Howl smiled. "He wasn't very good at first, but I managed to get him to hit his targets with precision during the middle of that mess." "Hmmm...interesting...you've caught my interest. Boy, what is your name?"
-
Trauss fell silent as he was reminded of America being blown up. A few yards ahead of them was a ladder leading to the exit. He noticed and climbed up the ladder first, sliding the lid off. He hopped out and looked around; he was surrounded by men. He quickly slid the lid back into place over the manhole with his foot. Trauss was suddenly shot in the neck with a dart. He plucked it out and tossed it on the ground. "What the...?" mumbled Trauss. Suddenly several more darts were shot at him, he wobbled around and collapsed. The surrounding men approached and tied him up. The soldiers said something about a facility in Moscow and dragged Trauss away to a truck.
-
"Ross, my mane's ross"
-
"Well, Ross, I think that if Howl can train you in the midst of battle, then you a clearly suitable for his squadron. I'll send you some papers to fill out later, but for now, your under Howl's command and shall report to him." Howl nodded. "Thank you, father." He turned to Ross. "Don't worry about finding a place to sleep, I have plenty of room in my quarters, there are multiple beds in there to house other squad members. Come with me, I'll give you a tour of the base."
(MEANWHILE, IN SARATOV)
When the coast was clear, Абрам and Семён climbed out of the sewers. "We have to get Trauss! They might get information about the EU's army base and-" Семён interrupted him. "They've already attacked the base, but failed, and right now we need to get to the British. Their soldiers are leading a push to Moscow in order to use it as a scapegoat from this near Armageddon." "I don't know...will you think he can holdout for that long?" "I'm sure he'll survive."
-
Ross followed Howl out of the tent, unsure of what to say
-
Howl walked for a minute, then stopped in front of a large barrack. "This....is the armory. You'll be assigned a certain weapon set depending on your abilities in battle and how well you shoot." He stepped inside, and a canvas of stockpiled weapons and ammo opened up before their eyes. From m4's to ak47s, 50. calibers, Five-sevens, Desert Eagles, m4 supers, spas's, famas's, ump's, all types of weapons. Howl smiled and turned to Ross, "Personally, this is one of my favorite places in the camp. Sometimes, if you ask me nicely, I'll let you create your own set of weapons and equipment to use in battle."
-
Trauss woke up and found himself hanging by his wrists and shackled around the ankles. He looked around, only seeing a pure white room, no door, no window, just white. He looked hazily down at himself, noticing he was stripped down to his underwear. Trauss started to yank at his bindings; they barely budged. He tried again when a door opened, completely invisible in the room. A very built man walked in with another man who was wearing a lab coat. Trauss noticed a scar on the built mans eye just before he suddenly punched Trauss across the face. He then hit Trauss in the ribs twice and prepared to stomp on his knee cap when the man in the coat shouted something in russian and stopped him.
The built man stood idle as the man in the coat adjusted the glasses he was wearing. "You are with resistance, no?" asked the man in the coat. "No, I don't know what your talking about," replied Trauss. The man in the coat snapped his fingers and the built man punched Trauss in the ribs again. "What is your name?" asked the man in the coat. "Jack Daniels," mocked Trauss. A snap of the fingers and Trauss was punched in the face. "You are Werewolf...No?" Trauss spat up some blood from his mouth onto the floor before he looked up. "No..." He was punched in the gut with a snap of the finger. "If you keep lieing boy you will die," said the man in the coat. "I'm not telling you squat!" barked Trauss. "No matter, Aeris has told me about you," smirked the man in the coat. Trauss suddenly glared at the man violently. "Where is she?! I'll kill you!" shouted Trauss. He suddenly broke the shackle around his wrist and reached for the man in the coat. The built man almost instantly grabbed trauss' hand and bent it back, the bone in his arm crunching, almost breaking.
-
Ross whistled "This is a pretty impressive armoury"
-
"Yes, it is. I hope one day you'll become very fond of this place, as am I. Many think that guns are bad, but I don't see what's wrong with 'em, they make quite the impressive impact on human life."
(Meanwhile, in Saratov)
Абрам and Семён gathered all the resistance members they could find before leaving for the British army base. All the men jumped into the backs of military of civilian trucks and made their way to the base. Абрам looked back and whispered, "Trauss, I hope to god that you stay alive...we need all the help we can get..."
-
Pain shot throughout Trauss as he opened his eyes, the room was empty again. As he looked around he saw he was fully shackled again and his blood pooled on the floor below him. With little to no strength left he hung there, suspended from the shackles around his wrists as his legs were limp unable to sustain his weight. "Trauss?..." spoke a voice in his head. "Ae-...Aeris...?" mumbled Trauss. "Help me, Trauss..." continued the voice. "Aeris...I'm coming..." Trauss muttered again, regaining enough strength to stand. Somehow his bindings broke and Trauss walked hazily to the area where the door was. Despite his pain, his battered body managed to move itself, thinking only of Aeris' voice as it continued to ring in his mind. "Trauss..." "Aeris..." "Trauss..." "Aeris..." Trauss continued to mumble her name as the door to the room opened and he went through. No one was around as he went through a room filled with computers and monitering equipment. He passed through another door and continued to walk down a hallway. No one was even around as he barely managed to walk.
-
Howl looked to Ross, a smile on his face. "Well, now it's time for training, even though you can get men with a semi-auto ak-47, you'll need to learn how to use all the weapons on both our arsenal and the enemies. So, pick a weapon you'd like to learn about and I'll teach you how to use it."
