Introduction
This is designed to be a free-for-all, fun, light and fluffy RP, with as much superhuman cuteness as can be sprinkled around. ^^ This is about KIDS, we're talking elementary here, with lots of elementary-school drama. The plot is fairly straight forward, but I will explain more if nessacary. I'm sorry this is REALLY long, but I can't help it. I'm used to writing REALLY long and I'm not going to try and break the habit. Please read on, friends!
Plot
The Serephim Day-and-Night was set up in total secrecy with the sole purpose of keeping 'gifted' toddlers and young children safe from those who would harm them. And these are very 'gifted' toddlers, indeed- these kids have powers. Superpowers. Realizing that the government did not care wether a Super was two years old, twenty years old, or a hundred years old, and that, in their eyes, Supers were nothing but lab rats, a band of concerned citizens put all their concerted effort into setting up this safe-house like boarding school for children too young to help themselves.
At Serephim Day-and-Night, children are divided into dorms by their grade and gender. There is a diffrent dorm house for each grade group, divided into male and female sections. Uniforms are assigned in diffrent colors for each dorm. Preschoolers and Kindergarteners wear yellow uniforms, 1st-2nd wear red, 3rd-4th wear blue, and 5th-6th wear green. Basically, this RP will play off of the children's daily lives at the school. There will be classes, feild trips, etc. depending on how you want to play the game. You can start when the kids first arrive at the school or after they've already been there for awhile.
All that has come to light as far as setting is that it is out in the Utah desert. If you need good refrence, just search for pictures of the Utah desert. Because I'm not going to type a lot. As for the school, it is under the shade of a large, red mesa, deep, deep in the desert where (supposedly) no-one "bad" can find it. Ten miles from the school is a lake, medium sized, where the kids often go for retreat. You have to drive down a thirty-mile long dirt road to get to the school, making it even more difficult to find. I'm not sure what the dorms and the school actually look like, so be free to make stuff up.
In this game, you can be any, both or all of the four types of characters listed here:
*Children: Children are anywhere from four years old to ten years old, and are in any grade from Preschool to 6th. (No exceptions, please. It's not as adorable if the kid is 16 years old, and I'm trying to eliviate my depression here, heehee) Their powers can range from the useful (telekinesis) to the unusual (creating ice out of thin air.) Generally, children are brought to Serephim by their worried parents. Sometimes they have more difficult circumstances (i.e. they were rescued from the Government by Serephim workers; their parents were abusive, and they needed help anyway), but one way or another, they end up at Serephim's doorstep.
