Discord inhaled deeply his abdomen puffing out quite a bit before he exhaled slowly, his pose perfect as he meditated; the air cool and crisp from the watering hole in front of him. He was dressed in just his light blue, plaid shorts; His shirt set off in the white sand. Discord's black and lime fur glistened in the sun-light from grooming it many times before he decided to take a trip down to the social gathering area to meditate and just feel one with the universe and all living things.
He opened his eyes a bit, moving his pupils about to see if there was anyone in sight. Discord thought to himself, "Good, no one is around to watch." He shifted to a feral stance, on all fours as he lapped up the cold water.
Not thinking much about his surroundings, he continued to drink to his heart's content; Not noticing the rustling in the tall grass behind him.

As jolly walked carrying a Mug in one hand he noticed a lapping sound coming from a few meters in front of him, he slowly moved forward pushing a small branch with 3 green leaves on it out of his way seeing a pup drinking from the water hole. As jolly watched his own thrust grew and grew, looking at his mug in sorrow he walked slowly as not to scare the pup, as i lean down to fill my mug with water i lose my balance and fling myself into the pond

Jumping back as the water splashed him he uttered a loud, "What the f***!" He scowled at his now soaked fur and clothing, his exhale sounded as if he were exhausted.
His ears turned back as he stared at the other creature that has fallen into the pond, baring his teeth at the stranger, then lightening up once he realized it was just a fox. Discord raised his ears curiously, pawing the water a bit before jumping in and swimming over to the stranger.

Jolly Sighed seeing the Pup start to swim over as i look in my cup and let out a small chuckle and dive underwater but having my ears still above water some because of there enormous size, As i surface i see the pup is a little closer as i start to swim closer to him
"Hey i'm sorry about that i was getting a drink and lost my balance" I said sighing and putting my ears down

Discord began to question if this was a very small wolf, or a fox. He raised a brow at him as he spoke cautiously, "That's okay, I am quite used to disturbances in such a social place of gathering as I meditate. But you're definitely new. Are you a small wolf or a fox?"
He began swimming back to the soft, white sand; as he gained stability from reaching higher ground he began to shake out his fur. Discord's height showed that he was more of an adolescent wolf rather than a pup, his shaggy mane revealing that he may have recently been in a fight with another alpha male; obviously of larger size than he.

I follow the wolf back to shore standing up i shake off the water wiping my eyes to get the water out and i crack my back "I'm a fox but not from around here i'm afraid to say" I say flicking my ears rapidly to dry them off. I begin to notice some parts of the wolf's mane there were shaggy "What happened to ya?" I ask looking concerned and rubbing my cup against my fur to wipe off the dirt then i look into the deep blue water and fall into almost a trance because of the blue beauty

He nodded, acknowledging that he was not from the area. Discord did his best to smooth out his mane by pawing it over and over, but his efforts were futile; there was no hiding what had happened.
He spoke a bit sheepishly, "I was kicked out of my pack due to advancing in age and for fear I would put the current alpha out on his own. And instead of taking my primal instincts to action I decided to venture down here and release my frustrations in a more positive way."
Discord noticed his trance within the tranquil blue he saw in the gently rippling water, "Beautiful, isn't it?"

"It is, as if only for a moment" He said looking toward the Wolf putting his finger in the water and swirling it around making ripples go through the water
"Thats why i like being alone" I say looking at the wolf's scars "No one will fight me or kick me out" I smile and look around
"If you want you can join me at my place, its not to far from here"

He scowled slightly, "Well that's how it always is with foxes, they don't travel in packs and therefore have no worry over who will lead the pack after the maturity years."
Discord picked his shirt up, shaking the remnants of sand from the medium grey shirt as he slipped it on in one fell swoop, "But since you're offering, I cannot decline. I have been looking for shelter from the rain and whatnot."
Scratching at the scabs a bit he growled quietly, small lumps of his fur coming with the ebony black and lime green.

I smile and look at the Wolf "I'm Jolly" i say extending my paw waiting for a paw shake and looking into the wolf's eyes seeing the deep green's and into his soul seeing the goodness in his heart

Discord took hold of Jolly's paw firmly, "I'm Discord. " Although cautious at first, his demeanor calmed when he saw that Jolly was no threat.
A low grumbling game from his stomach and soon a loud belch traveled through his esophagus and exited through his mouth, he smiled sheepishly at Jolly after being quite rude.

"Is that so? sounds like you maybe a little hungry eh?" I smile and turn around looking at the ways my large ears twitching "....we need to go this way!" I start walking off into the woods towards some sounds of fire crackling

He nodded slowly before he followed shortly behind Jolly, "What made you decide to come down and around to the watering hole?"
The gritty, brown dirt began to collect between his toes and in his fur as he followed; Discord made a very quiet disgusted sound as he shook his feet before continuing to follow.

Jolly stopped and turned around to Discord "I love the view and the water, and sometimes you get some good looken Vixen's"
Jolly smiled and chuckled before turning around and walking again. "We will be there soon, were about a mile and a half out"

Discord shifted into his feral stance, "Don't you ever just run on all fours? Also, I'm not much for the vixens nor the studs. I do not have time to worry myself over such trivial things."
He bounded ahead of Jolly, his black coloring making him look almost elusive and stealth-like as he ran and jumped through the tall grass.

"Nope, i've given up because people look at me strangely but i like having my ears higher i hear alot more"
I say looking at Discord bounds ahead of me looking happy
"Don't get to far where almost there"
I say looking ahead into the sunset

Discord adjusted his direction, heading on with the path that Jolly originally came from, "But why would you care what others think? We only have one life and I am certainly not wasting it by caring what others think of me. As long as I'm happy the others should not matter nor care."
He continued to bound in and out of the tall grass, his muzzle open with his tongue lolling around as he jumped about to his heart's content. Feeling as if nothing could hold him back, Discord jumped as high as his body would physically allow; Landing on all fours and continuing his blissful endeavor.

"It's not as much that as they way i was raised by plenty of different Families Ya know?"
I say Jogging following Discord and soon we come up to a small log cabin, the wood looked dark much like the trees surrounding it with some knobs facing out, the front stoop was made out of wooden oak 2x4's with a light dark finish, There was also a stump to the left side of the cabin with an Axe sticking out of it and a pile of fire wood a few steps away.
"Ahh home sweet home"
I smile and look at Discord as I open the door and hold it waiting to let Him in

((Its alright. I kinda dropped off the forum for awhile due to the holidays.))
Discord came to a grinding halt, panting a bit as he stood on two legs again; "Yeah, I heard foxes get shifted around a lot family-wise. Wolves just fight it out then resolve in the after-math of it all." He smiled back at Jolly as he stepped through the door-frame.
Not quite knowing what to think of this form of house he stood perfectly still inside the house, "I'm not exactly a live-at-home-guy. I spent most of my time moving around with my family slash pack."

"Well you mite as well get used to it seeing as your pack kicked you out" Jolly said walking to to the Cabin fully furnished with a TV between a couch and Love seat "Do what you need to do and make yourself at home" Jolly Said with a smile flopping down on the couch

"Some day I'll find myself a mate and start a pack of my own though. I just have to find that special someone." Discord helped himself to the fridge, pulling out a long string of linked sausages.
He barely chewed them as he consumed the delicious, savory, meat. After finishing them up he asked, "So you just keep linked sausages in your fridge?"

Jolly Smiled and Snickered "Well, I did, just gotta get some more i guess" Jolly sat in his chair and leaned back "Well good luck with that...any more it is hard to find the right ones" Jolly Sighed and Looked at the Fire in the Fire Place.

Discord chewed on the last one for a moment before swallowing, "You don't need to go to the store, I can just go and hunt something down; Come back and make linked sausages out of the meat and the film-like layer of flesh."
Ears twitching, he listened closely; his pupils dilating as instinct kicked in. He spoke quietly, "There is another nearby."

Scout walked slowly through the tall grass and trees when he spots the small pool of water...
"There...that's perfect..." He quietly says to himself slightly smiling...
He walks over to the watering hole, setting his things down, he sits cross legged and closes his eyes, and breaths slowly...

Discord shed his plaid shorts, revealing camouflage ones underneath as he bolted through the open window. He moved silently through the tall grass, just when he reached the end he only poked his snout through; he did not want to take any chances on startling what he saw.
Growling quietly at what seemed to be a wolf to him he moved forward, all the fur along his neck sticking straight up. Discord's feral stance was showing that he meant business.

Jolly walked outside following Discord from a safe distance

"In...." *inhales* "And out...." *exhales*
"*sigh* This is exactly what I needed...."
*eyes still closed, continuing to breathe *

Moving directly behind the newcomer, his loud growling was quite hard to ignore. Discord knew that this was his territory, and he was not letting a foreign wolf take over.

Scout's eyes shot open as he instantly turned around to find a sudden wolf's teeth showing in his face...
"AGHH!!" Scout yelped as he jumped back...
*splash* Scout fell in the watering hole...
Due to being stunned from fright, he struggled to pull himself to the surface, he flailed trying to regain control...
He then surfaced...
"I'm sorry! I didn't do anything! Please don't hurt me!!" Scout sobbed as he hovered in the water...

Raising a brow he questioned, "You're not a wolf?" Jumping in after the canine he helped him to shore, resuming his stance on two legs.
"I have to admit I haven't seen a dog around these parts in quite some time, you lost?" Discord turned and yelled, "Hey! Jolly! Come take a look at this!"

Scout coughing from the sudden dip, tried to breathe properly to talk...
*cough cough cough* *pant* "No...! I-I'm a husky!......"
"N-no I-I'm not lost...I...just needed to find some place to calm down a little bit...so I ventured here....."
*pant* *pant* ....

Discord patted his back hard a few times, "Just take a few deep breaths, you'll be alright. I'd sure like to know how you even got this deep into the forest."

"I-I'm sorry....." Scout tried to wipe the tears off of his eyes to show he wasn't crying from fright...
"I-I sometimes lose track of how far I go...a-and then I just...end up where I do......"

Jolly comes strolling up past a tree leaning on it with a smile "Well you sure make a damned good guard dog" Jolly says with a smile "A dog eh...though they only lived in the city...guess im wrong" I say scratching the back of my head "Well lets get you dry and warm" He says walking closer to the dog

"Th-thank you......" Scout says, standing up dripping water...
"S-sorry for showing up on your land...I-I had no idea it was yours......"
Scout crosses his arms, getting cold from the water...
"S-sorry.....I-I'm shy a-as you can tell by the simple scare....."
Scout flails his paw a small bit to get as much water off as possible, then extends it out...
"I-I'm Scout......"

Jolly shakes his paw "Just call me Jolly and I don't own this land I simply maintain it is all" Jolly smiles "Lets get to the cabbin so we can warm up what do ya say?"

"Cabin...? Um....S-sure, yeah....."
"O-Oh....excuse me......w-who are you...big...scary...wolf........?"

Shaking out his fur from the water he spoke, "Me? I'm just, Discord. The name was given out of irony."

"I can see why....."

"Yes but once ya know him hes like a big puppy" Jolly says with a sly grin

"I-I hope thats the only scare I get......."
Scout recross his arms...
"S-So...where's this cabin of yours, Jolly.....?

"It should be I promise you that"
Jolly says looking at the woods "about half a mile away not too far"

"G-good...I may be a husky...but being down here for long enough has changed my body climate....I-I'll be okay...."
"I never did thank you two for helping me out...."

Discord assumed his feral stance once more, as he pointed, "That way!" He wasted no time jumping in and out of the tall grass gleefully.
Not a care in the world when he entered this state of mind.

"I only know his name, and he already seems like a big puppy..." Scout chuckled as he watch Discord hop away...

Discord hopped back, in and around them; not leaving the tall grass. He yelled so Scout could hear, "I told you my name was out of irony!"

Scout chuckled at Discords comment

Jolly smiles and continues to walk "Not hard to see why, eh?"

"Not anymore, heheh..." Scout chuckles as he walks by Jolly's side...

Hopping towards the cabin he was simply elated, experiencing a form of happiness that few could experience in their lifetime.
The warm ground beneath his feet and the feeling of the tall grass on his fur felt amazing, and rather natural.

"Is this normal...like...a regular thing...?" Scout asks Jolly...

"Very much so" I saw walking a little faster as the sun goes down

"Heh, I dont mind it, it's kinda cute..."
Scout picks up the pace as he starts falling behind...

Discord grinded to a halt as he faced a buffalo in front of him, "Jolly, I found a replacement for those sausages! Its kinda,,,, alive though."
The large beast snorted and attempted to charge him, Discord scrambling to get out of the way just in time. Snarling at the buffalo his fur stood straight up as he snapped at its ankles.

"Ah jeez..." Scout muttered to himself as he tossed the blanket he had off of him...
"Discord! Focus on when you can hit him, I'll distract him!" Scout yelled running ahead of Jolly and towards the buffalo...
"HEY!! Beast!" Scout yelled at the buffalo as it turns toward him...
"Come and get it..." He said cockingly as he whipped his tail around and started running...
The beast's focus locked on Scout as he started running through tight spaces and making jumps through the forest...

Discord had no trouble keeping up in his feral stance, snarling and and preparing himself to jump. The mighty beast stopped, turning towards the large black and lime wolf.
Standing his ground his tail went straight up, not running when the buffalo charged him. Discord jumped at the right time, to his left then attacked the beast on his right. Clamping down on the windpipe as the beast struggled and thrashed about, trying to escape from imminent death.

Jolly sat back and watched "Ya know we have something a little more useful right?" Jolly said pulling out a flash light and keeping it on the Buffalo "Why didn't i bring my gun this time" I say with a chuckle as Discord Chokes the Beast

Scout comes jogging back to find the beast choking from Discord....
"I see that...kinda worked...I guess..."

Discord let go of the buffalo's throat, "Well, at least we can have more sausages."

Jolly smiled "Yeah thats true" Jolly said as he wrapped a rope around Its horns "now to drag it home"

"Here..." Scout says taking one end of rope...
"Oh jeez...!" Scout says struggling to pull...

Discord helped by standing between the ropes and pulling both at the same time, "We're all strong enough, we should be able to get it back to the cabin."
The beast was quite heavy, but he was not about to admit that. Discord was too prideful to admit to his failures.

it was rather dark but that was no problem for Ben he had been trying to find his pack all day then he came across this watering hole
"this water looks clean enough."
* he bends over opening his canteen to fill it with water, after the canteen was full he splashed some water on his face, thats when he decided he would rest there for the night*

Still hauling the beast with a lot of might Scout gruntingly mutters "So...I haven't URG!....actually seen this place yet...are we...HRG...close yet...?"

*wakes up and hears the sound of what seems to be a slow dragging, ben pulls up his rifle and slowly makes his way towards the noise *
