Unfortunately, noone in my family would drive me to Anthrocon (I live less than an hour from Pittsburgh but don't have a driver's license... yet).
However, I have seen furries at other conventions before. I'd have to say that one of the more interesting things that happened at Bronycon was when I saw a fursuiter hiding in a pile of dakimakuras (body pillows with images of characters). It was adorable.
