Hello there! My name is Alan, I'm just another furry artist. I'm generally pretty chill and friendly! I haven't been active on a forum for quite a while, but I used to go by the name Chrysocyon back on Ye Olde FAF and later Phoenixed.

My history with furries, if anyone is interested: I first discovered the fandom proper back in 2006 and decided it was something I could identify with. I also immediately became aware of the stigma surrounding furries at the time and kept it to myself for a while. In 2009 I wanted to get more involved and finally made an FA account, started making furry art, and posting on the forums, but strictly art related. It wasn't until 2015 that I decided to go all-in and made a conscious effort to be active in the community, posting on forums and getting into social media and such. Since then, I've met many cool people, had a lot of fun, and even went to a couple furry conventions!

And now here I am, trying to get back into forums and looking forward to meeting more folks!

Haha! Yeah, I know what you mean. I definitely love doing things as traditionally and authentic as possible. Although, I just spilled a bottle of ink all over myself the other day, so my "Drowning in ink" has become more true than I originally intended.
