Really depends on where in America. Every state is pretty different.
Where i live its just really cold, and has been for a while.

Life in America can be vastly different depending on where you live. Oregon is going to be way different than Florida; Massachusetts is going to be way different than Texas, and California is going to be way different than New Hampshire. You will find not just climate differences, but each state has its own culture as well. No two are completely alike.

That's right OneFang (I would love to visit Vancouver BC one day, I'm only 4 hour drive away), I only lived in the west coast, but life is very different from where I used to live in California, and where I now live in Washington state

Traffic is probably the worst over here in the Puget Sound area, and expensive public transport, biking/walking can be tough with too many hills, unless you know the shortcuts and backstreets, it will take longer to get to different destinations.
Where I lived in California it was mainly flat

very hot summers, and very cold winters - rainy the other two seasons - when I lived in California, it was hot and very dry most of the time, rain at times in winter, then again, the LA basin is mainly built on a desert

California here. Extremely variable weather, with temperatures from 22 to 100+ Farenheight. Political spectrum is very diverse, and in my area the LGBT community is very prominent as well as both the conservative and liberal party. Makes for interesting groups of friends for sure. Three of my close friends are transgender and liberal mostly, another is an employee at a gunsmith. I see a bit of everyone I guess.

Cost of living is very high, minimum wage is 10.50 an hour. Weed and gay marriage are legal, guns are heavily restricted.

Yeah I've been to some places in America and really it's the big melting pot that others make it. But I do say for that reason as a whole it's rather well rounded, not the best by far. But a nice place to live in, even if we have some bumps along the way. Though I always wanted to know what England was like!
