The Great Mouse Detective on spout?!

I meant to post this sooner a few weeks ago but I forgot..  Anyway  I noticed something strange!   While I was browsing the movies that was on Saturday night I saw the great Disney classic movie "The Great Mouse Detective" but the strange part was the station witch it was on!  all the stations it could be on, it was on Spout!  If you don't know what that station is, Spout is a station geared towards toddlers..  So it begs the question, what is a movie like that doing on a station for 1 to 3-4 year olds?  Granted they did cut out some scenes such ass the infamous bar scene  with the dancer but still.. I did find it rather odd.
