Darker than Dark: Blackburn's Folly

Welcome to Darkside Village, a sad little town in a horrible place, dominated by the decrepit Blackburn Estate. The estate's treasure horde sat untouched, waiting for the right adventurers to claim it. But be warned, the clinically insane, the monsters, and the undead both occupy these halls, simply waiting to shed the blood of any would be adventurers.

In this RP, you'll start on a wagon-based supply train headed for Darkside, where you'll begin your adventure into the Blackburn Estate, the massive yet dilapidated structure with an untold amount of treasure, traps, monsters, and floors.

Things to know:
-The more of your spoils spent at the village's shops help them grow, and eventually begin contacting more of the outside world.
-The RPer's should take into consideration stress and the mind-breaking implausibility of what stalks the estate's halls. This is more for character development, but I don't mind if you ignore it.
-Death is not permanent, and characters can return from those evil halls.
-If you are inactive for too long, it's assumed you've left on personal business (whatever that may be).
-Old Fantasy setting, but with more grit than sandpaper.

-You can start with a REASONABLE amount of gold, no more than 1'000.
-Treasure can be shared, or selfishly hoarded.

Rules:
*You already know the standard fanfare.*
-Multiple characters are allowed, but not in the same adventuring party. ((IE one character per poster if they're in the estate.)
-D'as it.

Character Sheet:

Quirks (mental or physical attributes *Don't copy this next bit, much to long.* ((IE is your character a sadist, or a masochist. Are they ill, maybe a bum-leg? Afraid of the dark or water? Stuff like that))):

Gold (if any):

The first thing you should do is meet with Ronald Blackburn, the Estate's now-demented caretaker.
