They both work in the concrete business. Well, Mike, one of my dad's best friends, was trying to remove something off of his truck, and the drum suddently started turning, taking Mike with it. He got his ear cut off, as did a finger. He got his throat sliced, and it broke a verdibrae, and crushed another. It's a miracle he's still alive. Wow, that's awful... Thank heavens he lived, but that's still gotta be beyond rough to live through. My best wishes to Mike, and I hope he isn't in too much pain...

UPDATE as of 9:59 pm: Apparently, he DIDN'T lose his ear, but so much of it was hanging off, he might as well have. The surgons reattached it.

come on people. he needs all the prayers he can get.
