family rage

help me i have a problem with my parents they say that i am going mental and being a furry is not normal(i wear a fox hat,collar,and a tail thats all and not all the time)they say that i will never get a job and i'm throwing my life away.i have tryed to explain a million times and it never works. I want to just scream so hard my head would bust sometimes. i'm WAY more punk than furry so whats the big deal so i wear tail big woop. i wear a collar who cares. i wear a fox hat a lot of people do so what is so bad about that.i'm on the verge of loosing it big time i'm in tears right now thinking my family thinks i'm a freak all but my mom. my mom says as long as i pass school and get a job one of these days she's fine with it.i don't get made fun of in school or in public so why at home? what do you think any advise?

Well fellow punk, you (in my opinion) have three options.

- channel your rage into destroying things
- channel your rage into proving them wrong
- not give a damn, it's your life

Quite honestly I would go with option two.

They're your parents and they love you and stuff. They're only worried about you. You can prove to them all this is not a bad thing. So finish school and get a job. Dedicate your time to bettering yourself and stuff and in the long run, prove your parents wrong.
