I just saw that CSI episode and it makes all furries look bad, were not all like that and it just *** me off that the people just assumed that all furries are like that

Ah yes the infamous episode, I'm sure there's other threads on this very subject, or atleast there should have been. It was the first time many people were exposed to the furry fandom, including myself.

They did the same thing to games and to sci-fi. They deal only in negative stereotypes because it makes things seem shadier, more bizarre and therefore more entertaining.

I just watch it for the forensic explanations, even though I know they're probably not true. The only episode that's gotten to me was the dog-fighting one.

All the crimes are possible and all the technology is real (though almost all actual CSI labs are nowhere near as advanced). The only thing that is fictional is the characters, the personalities and the society portrayed.

i dont think i've seen a more close minded view of furs in my life.
ohhhhhh so thts why my mums friend slagged me off for being a fur, because shes a real CSI fan and assumed tht all furs were like tht.

so yer, we shuld sue CSI for doin tht lol (joking)
