New here, comic book artist
« on: October 23, 2014, 12:24:00 AM »
Hello all, it's nice to meet you. :)

I've joined the forum to meet you all and introduce myself and my book. I have a project underway called Dawn of the Furries. This comic book series features a post-apocalypse world where, instead of zombies, rabid furries are plaguing mankind.

I am doing this book as an ensemble character piece, focusing more on the human characters than the attacking furries, but because of the connection, I thought I would join your forum to engage you all in conversation.

It is my sincere wish to not portray the furry community in a bad light.  Coming from a history of drama club, anime, comic books, and video games, we've all crossed paths before.  So I am hoping to get some feedback to the concept of a zombie-furry comic book, in the hopes to remain true to our shared passions.

Here's the link.  I welcome all feedback:  https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/JeffOutlaw/dawn-of-the-furries

Cheers

That's okay, Lottylives and Aakor, money isn't just quickly available for so many of us. I'm just happy that you two think it's a cool idea. Here's a quick promo art piece for everyone to enjoy.

Huh. Interesting!

Unfortunately, I have the same problem as Lotty and Aakor.

 FDF forever!
