Hello to everyone at Furry Forums,
You can call me Bear, if that's not too generic, or GB. I've been a lurker for some time, and I'm looking forward to chatting with all of you!
When I say I'm somewhat new to furry, that's no lie, so forgive me any ignorance. My previous experience with furry fandom was on the game Furcadia - though, I use the term 'game' lightly, as you likely know if you're familiar with it! I spent a few years there, back about five or six years ago, as some of my close friends were a part of the furry community and into wolf pack role-plays and such. I never felt like it was really for me, until now. The internet is a more difficult place for social interaction than it seems (at least, for me it is) but furry fandom as a whole strikes me as a warm place. You like animals. I like animals. I hope I will find even more common ground with some of you!
With that said, I have a few questions:
1. Does the furry community tend to lean very young, or would you say most are just young at heart? I was under the impression that it had quite an age range, but it seems most furs I encounter are college age or even younger. There's no shame in either, of course, but I assume one of you will know better than I!
2. Other than this forum and FurAffinity, which seems geared towards the artistic side of things, are there any sites you recommend taking a look at?
Any other advice you deem important would be helpful as well! Thank you for reading, and, in advance, it's nice to meet you.
