[A cat cafe with mega man x characters who are all anthro kitties]
Zero: *licking his paw tentatively whilst sat on a big cushion, keeping an ear out for anyone coming over*

X : *walking over, looking a bit irritated, he lies near zero, stretching his paws and opening his mouth for a yawn, not directly aknowledging Zero's presence*

Zero: *immediately stares at x, pupils widening and getting ready to pounce at him*

X: *looks up by chance and notices Zero, his glance turning into a scared glare* Wait don't I'm not readY TO-
-
Zero: *gracefully (read: inelegantly) LEAPS onto x, landing on top of him heavily.* ... Hello, x
-
X: wARGH! *hisses, getting squished by zero, looking up at him from under him, little cat eyes full of rage* I TOLD YOU NOT T- *he stops himself, sighing instead, still a bit annoyed, but at least now he's warmed*

Zero: *now haphazardly flopped on top of x licking his paws again as if nothing happened* Wonderful weather we're having

X: *twitches, trying to get zero off of him* Z- Zero... Yo- I'm running out of breath down here! *he looks up at him, puoting, frowning his whiskers*

Zero: *rolls off so he's no longer crushifying x, purring just a little* What's up? *he bats at x's tail that is swishing in annoyance, just zoned in on the swishy tail*

X: Oh, not much... *noticing Zero's focus, he scoots in closer, waving his tail close enough to grasp Zero's snoot, tickling it with a mischevious grin*

Zero: *tilting his head as his pupils widen before sneezing and biting the tail, chrompf!*

X: mEOOWGH!!! *he tries to free himself, his fur getting all spiky, hissing* LET ME GO!

Zero: *he lets go almost immediately* Oh sorry, I kind of got distracted by the floof

*pets the ket* "Aww so fluffy"

Zero: *is suddenly petted* MROW? Sir this isn't that kind of cat cafe, would you like to order a drink?

X: *looks up, glaring at the newcomer* ... *he takes a step back, a bit intimidated but trying his best to look thick skinned*

*l ightly patting zero* "Oh hah ssorry, yes I'd like a latte"

Zero: *points at X whilst being patted* YOU HEARD EM, X! :D ... hey, scratch under my chin

*scratches zero's chin*
You guys are sooooo fluffy
*gently pats X* aww cmon don't be afraid

Zero: *purrs* he's just on edge because there've been a lot of meowvericks recently! And he should be on edge, that's important. But you're not a repowoid or a meowverick, I can tell! You're just a plain old fox

X: *very serious, his snoote twitching annoyedly, he gets up with a small grunt-meow* ....I'll go get the coffee, Sir. *he goes get it, shaking his head to destress*

Zero: Isn't he just wonderful? *he holds his fluffy ket cheek, watching X storm off grumpily*
