December 3rd, 1916. Verdun France
Snow fell from the sky, like ashes falling from hell itself. Bodies covered No Man's Land, artillery could be heard blasting in distance and the smell of blood filled the air like poison. A tall bearded vulture with white feathers stood at attention. His British Officer uniform was dirty and he wore a large overcoat for warmth over it.
He whistled and yelled, "Everyone line up!"
RULES

Name: Zaida Valdis
Age: 26
Nationality: French
Species: Monster
WW1 Uniform: Uniform (http://www.warrelics.eu/forum/attachments/ww1-allies-great-britain-france-usa-etc-1914-1918/327625d1333481831-french-army-1915-patt-horizon-blue-medical-officers-tunic-kepi-blue-horizon-004.jpg), and her

Fears: Constantly be in pain and alone, rotting inside and out.
Bio: She wanted to serve for France, and find her missing father however it was impossible due to her gender. Eventually she grew enough courage to sneak in, trying her best to keep her identity hidden. Wrapping cloth around her breasts, add padding to her body to seem less feminine, avoid talking much, etc.
Despite being female. She's well-trained, reliable, and respected. She carries out her duties at all times.

(Intresting, i'll join it once I have some material to use.)

Everyone ran up towards the trench wall and stood at attention. The vulture scanned them, "Now listen. Snows fallin' again. It's getting cold. And we're low on ammunition. I think it's time men.... I think it's time to rush No Man's Land." He sighed.
"But before we do that. I want to inspect you all to make sure you can do this."
-
Following the command quickly. Zaida stood tall, and very still, her rifle held up tightly and against her. Showing she was ready for inspection.
-
The vulture stepped towards Zaida. He picked up her rifle and began to inspect it. "Seems good." He handed it back. Then he told her to stick her arms out. " Step forward and do a spin. I need to make sure the uniform is in tip top condition."
-
She felt eyes on her, how she hated attention especially being the only female in disguise. The monster stepped forward, arms out, and gave a slow spin before facing the avian once more.
-
He smiled, "And just like I said. Tip top condition. You did good lad, keep it up."
He then moved onto his next soldier
-
Zaida gave a small nod to the British officer. Once he left to inspect others she sighed softly. Before walking back to her position without a word.

Ray nodded, and spun slowly, paws outstretched.
-
Zaida remained in line, although she looked straight. Under her mask she glanced over at that soldiers to her right, watching the coon spin allowing the avian to inspect his uniform and weapons.
-
(You can't drive a tank and you can't be Russian. Also if you're going to be a women keep it hidden. Or you can changeIit all)
The vulture smiled, "Nicely done." He moved onto Ryan grabbing his gun and inspection it.
-
(Alright i will have to change it all, cause yeah those two things were sort of important.)
-
*Ryan slid his journal into a small pocket in his coat, before watching bailey inspect his gun*
-
He checked it for a bit then handed it back, "Stand forward and spin for me now please."
-
*Ryan stood forward and spun slowly*
-
He yawned and smiled, "Very good you can go." He then inspected everyone else's guns and uniform.
After a few minutes the vulture which will go by Oswald now, stuck his head up to inspect No Man's Land. It was normal. Dead bodies and the short but something was off.
Something stood in the middle of No Man's Land, "What the hell?" He whispered
-
*Ryan was writing in his journal by the time Oswald said this*
"Huh?"*He said looking at him*
-
Oswald quickly jumped down and grabbed some binoculars and scanned No Man's Land. Once his eyes meet the creature he stopped and his mouth went a gape.
The creature must have been 7 feet tall. It's arms out stretched in an unnatural manner, it's head was cocked to the side. It moved unnatural, it would walk then sprint then twitch. Rinse and repeat. It's head would shake uncontrollebly and it's hands would reach into the air like it was praying to God
-
Zaida looked over in the same direction Oswald was looking, watching the avain's beak drop. "..Mm?" The monster mumbled under her mask. Stressed and curious of what was in "no mans land"
-
*Ryan looked at Oswald, he has never seen a higher-up with such an expression before*
"Are you okay?"
-
Oswald handed his binoculars to Ryan, "T-look a look."
-
*He grabbed the binoculars before looking out*
"What the hell?"*He focused on it before gasping*"What. the. hell."
-
Oswald looked over at Ryan and spoke, "Do we shoot it?" He gripped his Webley revolver
-
Zaida remained calm. The monstress watched the odd figured creature in the distance without the binoculars.
-
"We... We can try"*He said nervously*"But I sure as hell don't want this thing to get pissed at us."
-
Ray looked out at the figure, and spoke to his commanding officer. "Perhaps some poor guy's got shellshock?"
-
Oswald looked over and sighed, "That thing dosen't look normal.... No way it's another anthro." He pulled his revolver out and began to hoist himself up out of the trench. He very well knew the Germans saw him and he knew they wouldn't shoot at him.
Towards the German trench a German Officer pulled himself out of the trench and made his way towards the middle to speak with Oswald about the thing.
-
Zaida squatted down. Still kept her eyes on the... creature, trying to figure it out. She quickly got to her feet, her attention turned to the German officer.
-
Oswald crouched down and tried to keep out of sight from the creature. He and the officer meet and stared each other in the eye. "I know why you're here." The officer said. Oswald nodded, "Yeah. Because of that thing."
The creature was doing its normal thing, it twitched uncontrollebly. And it sprinted down no man's land. It stopped then began to cry.
Oswald quietly spoke, "Why did both of our artillery stop?" He was right. Artillery on both sides had stopped. The sounds of gun fire ceased as well. The officer looked over at the creature which ed began to look over at the two. His face was humanoid but it's eyes were black holes and it's mouth was open wide.
The officer covered his mouth, "Mein gott... We need to get out of here.... Agree to not shoot each other?" Oswald nodded. They both ran back towards the trenchs.
Oswald spoke, "We are leaving."
-
Zaida was confused however didn't argue, a bit stressed with the whole situation to see both officers fearful of whatever that thing was that lurked in no man's land. She headed over to a camp in the trenches gathering her belongings. Other soldiers did as well, questioning what was going on, some continued to peer out of the trenches at the thing.
-
The signs of movement could be seen in no man's land could be seen. It was a British soldier. He moaned in pain, the creature looked over at him and sprinted full speed towards him. What happened next was inhuman.
Oswald quickly looked up from the trench to see what happened. Sweat feel from his head, "Jesus Christ...."
As they all gathered their belongings the snow began to poor on them. The sounds of the wind whipped between they're ears. And a sense old dread filled the air, like they weren't in the same world.
-
*Ryan grabbed anything he could carry without weighing him down too much*
-
The snow continued to fall. It got heavier and heavier which each passing minute. "Bloody 'ell! Of the weather keeps up we won't be able to leave this place!"
-
Zaida glanced at the scene, no matter what she tried to think to block that image from her head, it was all real... Her ears leaned back from the howling winds, she wiped snow from her mask. 'What in the hell is happening...' she questioned gathering the last of her belongings.
-
Oswald quickly gathered more supplies he grabbed extra clothing as well just in case someone needed it, "Anyone need any extra clothing? It's getting cold out fast"
-
Zaida didn't need any extra clothes however though before she nodded her head. She then nodded approaching him with an extended arm wanting to take extra, in case. Besides she didn't have much to carry.
-
"Don't talk much do 'ye?" He made a nervous smile handing her a large overcoat. "This'll help."
-
*Ryan seemed to be writing in his journal, his pen gliding against the old pages*
-
"Mhmh" Zaida mumbled shaking her head lightly, her breathing muffled underneath her mask. She took the extra clothing, putting it in her pack.
-
Oswald scuffed. "I'll get you to talk some day." He peaked his head over the trench. He scanned the are. The creature was a shadow in the blizzard.
-
Zaida watched the creature as well. A rifle in her gloved paws, she waited for further orders.
-
"Right. We got go back because well...." He turned his head and a large fence of barbed wire covered the ground. He sighed, "We'll either have to go tthrough the whole trench line and or go forward.."
-
*Ryan held his rifle in his hands, the snow was blinding*
-
Zaida gave a sigh followed by a light shrug as he said this, unsure what would be best. The monstress simply turned her attention to the vulture.
-
Oswald sighed, "Let me think."
-
She closed her eyes and listened to the howling wind before she looked up towards the sky, only to watch snow fall heavily. There was no more gunfire, which seemed peaceful but the creature was a new threat which gave her a hint of dread although she didn't show it.
-
Oswald got up and viewed No Man's Land again. He mumbled. "We have to go through each German trench..."
-
Zaida gave her attention to the officer, she didn't argue. Only a nod of understanding, taking a deep breath as she looked towards the trenches.
-
He quickly jumped down and spoke, "The Germans won't shot us.... But. Their might be more of those.... Things. "
He peaked up from the trench. "I have a bad feeling about this day...."
-
Ray rubbed his face, the white snow hurt his eyes.
-
Oswald hoisted himself up from the trench and began helping people out.
-
Zaida climbed out of the trench herself, she didn't need help. After she brushed herself off, looking far into the distance of no man's land...
-
After Oswald helped everyone up he sighed, "Right. We just need to make it over.... Nine trench systems..." He closed his eyes and spoke under his breath, "God have mercy on us."
-
Ray nodded, and fell in line. He waited for Oswald's command to move.
-
Oswald watched the creature. Then he lifted his arm and whispered, "Go." He the began to rush towards the first trench line.
-
Zaida tucked her cross necklace in her uniform, the cold silver cross now pressed against her fur. Once she heard the command, the monstress began to sprint to the other trench line as well.
-
*Ryan rushed with him*
-
Ray started towards the trench, keeping a wary eye on the creature.
-
CHAPTER 1: Limbo
They reached the trench. As they jumped in, it seemed as if everyone left.
Oswald smioed, "That went better then I thought." He kept his Webley in his hands. "You uhm.... French men. Go check the left.Yankee check the right. And Ray? Yeah Ray. Check the front."
-
Ray nodded, and looked around. The rest must've gone lower in the trench. He then checked the landscape in front of the trench.
-
It looked empty. Like nothing else wa in sight. Like they were in Limbo.
-
Zaida nodded and headed left, studying the trench and out of it but there was nothing. 'Odd...' She thought.
-
*He looked at oswald before sighing and looking aroun... They seemed to be the only ones around*
-
Oswald rushed towards Ryan and looked down the trench, "Why the hell is this **censor** trench so long?"
-
Ray turned back to the trench, and sought out Oswald. "Sir. Fog's pretty thick out there."
-
"How the hell should I know?"*He said looking down the trench*"Something about this isn't right.."
-
Oswald looked over at Ray, "Bloody 'ell" He looked over the trench and sighed. "I don't even know how far the other trench is... Any one want to go check?" He scanned the group.
-
Ray put his paws at chest height, and shook his head. "N-Not..." He cleared his throat, and tried again. "Not alone, sir."
-
"I volunteer"*Ryan said looking at oswald and ray*
-
Zaida then came back, she shook her head. "Mhmh." She mumbled not willing to wander out of the trench alone. It was far to dangerous, especially since what was out there.
-
Oswald sighed, "Brave son of a bitch.: He patted Ryans back. "Do it for queen and country lad."
-
*Ryan passed Oswald a small sheet of paper before he started walking into the fog, he could barely see anything as he tried to part the fog infront of him*
-
Oswald sighed and read the note
-
*The note seemed to be that of a musical sheet, nothing that has been issued by the army
The arrangement was meant for a Piano and a small not at the bottom said*
"This is my life's work... Please take care of it"
-
Oswald frowned and put it in his pocket. He closed his eyes and prayed.
-
*Ryan continued throughout the fog, his rifle in hand as he scans the area*
-
Oswald watched as Ryan disappeared into the fog. He looked over atRay, "You seem em'?
-
*Ryan whistled, continuing on his path before he realized that he had passed the sake box of ammo already*
"What the hell?"
-
Oswald pulled his binoculars out and began to look for Ryan.
-
*Ryan looked back trying to spot the group*
-
"**censor** it." Oswald rushed out of the trench and ran towards Ryan. The fog was thick but he eventually got to him. "Why haven't you moved any farther? You took ten steps and just stopped?"
-
"I've been walking for the past 10 minutes sir.."*He said looking at him*"I can't see anything and have ONLY BEEN walking forward"
-
"What in God's name are you talking about?" He grabbed his shoulder and dragged him back towards the trench pointing st it, "What it the hell have you been doing?"
-
"Honestly sir, If you want to suspend your disbelief please do what I was doing"*He said brushing his legs off*"If you prove me wrong you prove me wrong"
-
Oswald let go of Ryan and sighed, "I'll be back. Stay in the trench with the other two." He turned around and began to walk
-
*Ryan stood before sitting down and whistling something*
-
Oswald walked. He pulled the hammer back on his revolver and aimed it forward. He kept walking for what seemed ages. He stopped after ten minutes and turned his head back towards the trench. He spun his body around and slowly moved the opposite direction.
He took a few steps and in front of him was the trench. His mouth opened and his revolver feel put of his hands onto the snow covered ground.
-
*He looked at oswald*
"Exactly. Something isn't right about this place..."
-
He grabbed his fallen gun off the ground and stuttered, "W-w-we need to leave this place."
-
*Ryan stood up and nodded*
-
Zaida peered out of the trench, she couldn't see anyone as the fog was too heavy.
-
Oswald jumped back into the trench, he sighed and began to scan the surroundings.
"Right. We all are going to go.... Left. We walk until we reach the end. Got it?" He said with a nervous tone
-
Zaida without hesitation nodded to the commanding officer. Still peaking out of the trench into the thick fog.
-
"Alrigut"*Ryan said, tightening his boots*
-
Ray nodded. "Y-Yessir!"
-
Oswald pushed his way past everyone, he then took point. They then began to walk down the trench line.
-
Zaida dropped back down and marched behind the bearded vulture. Although her head faced forward her eyes cautiously searched the trench for any possible threats.
-
Oswald continued to march, he sung to himself, "Pack up your troubles in your ol' kit back and smile smile smile!" He stopped sining after a while and turned to Zaida still walking.
"Oi. I never heard you say your name. What's your name?"
-
Zaida grew flustered knowing there wasn't a way out of this. She answered, trying her best to sound male. "...Zed, Sir." She said plainly, the mask luckily helped. Zaida sounded like a young male.
-
Oswald nodded, "Zed... I like it. Got a good ring to it." He looked over at Ray and Ryan, "You two. Where do you two come from?"
-
"I'm british sir"*He said walking behind them waving the fog out of his face*
-
"Ay I know that. But were do ye' come from?" He said in a mildly annoyed voice.
-
"London."*He continued looking around*
-
"Thank you.." Zaida said, she decided talking a bit more wouldn't hurt. Besides she needed something to occupy her thoughts. "I was born and raised in Paris, Sir."
-
Oswald seemed to be enjoying the small talk. He smiled, "I was born in a small village near Manchester. Me and my brothers used to go tip cows all the time." His smile grew to a frown...
He looked over at Zaida, "Paris eh? Heard the women over there were beautiful. Haven't seen one yet but I'm keeping me eyes peeled for any of 'em." He laughed and continued walking, "Oi! Yankee Doodle! Where do you come from?"
-
*Ryan looked at Oswald*
"Do you have anyone special back home?"
-
Oswald looked over towards Ryan, his eyes meet the ground, "No... She died over ten years ago.." He smiled and looked up at Ryan again, "I'm still angry at her for leaving me with the little shits." He laughed, something was wrong about the laugh though. It sounded heartbreaking. Like he couldn't take it anymore.
-
Zaida blinked, it was pretty often to hear the soldiers talking about women but was still awkward nonetheless. She wasn't sure how to respond and went quiet, rubbing the fur on her neck. Zaida instead listened to their conversation, not wanting to interfere. Her ears leaned back from the response he gave Ryan.
-
*Ryan felt like he shouldn't of brought it up, something about that laugh was heartbreaking and souless*
"I'm sorry about bringing it up, Sir"
-
"Nah, it's fine. I've moved on from it..." He clearly wasn't over it. He pulled a picture out. The picture was of him and two other small children. Next to Oswald was another person. A women. Possibly his wife.
He kept walking while looking at it.
"Jesus Christ I hope the little ones are all right..." He said tearing up
-
"Sorry"*He said once more looking at him with a worried look*
-
Oswald put the picture back and sighed, "It's all right son. You didn't know..." they kept walking.
Twenty minutes later
Oswald began to grow tired. He looked over at the group and stuttered, "S-s-should w-we stop for a tick?"
-
*Ryan was exhausted by the time he said this*
"I would appreciate it.."
-
They all sat down, Oswald checked to see how far they had to go. It seemed like they made barely any progress...
He sat back down and sighed, "I've never seen a trench system this **censor**' long!" he threw his hat of his head.
-
*Ryan sat down and sighed*
-
Oswald picked his hat back up from the ground and put it back on. He just sat in silence tapping his foot.
-
Zaida walked off alone, facing away from the group. She took her mask of for a second, her paws rubbed her face. The monstress brushed the snow off her mask, staring at her reflection on the lens. With a small sigh she placed the mask back on her face, tightening and adjusting it.
-
Oswald began to hum. The snow was still falling. Not as hard though, but it still feel.
He stood up from his spot and peaked his head out from the trench. The fog was still thick
-
*Ryan was stil sitting*
-
Ray shook his head, and threw his helmet against the trench wall. "Where's the rest of the company!? Where are the Germans!?" He stood up, and yelled out to the fog. "Where's the rest of the god-damned world!?"
-
Oswald stood up and spoke, "Let's keep going..."
-
Zaida nodded lightly. She got to her feet and began to walk forward.
-
Ray put his helmet back on, and sighed. "Lead on, sir."
-
The kept walking. They kept walking for what felt like hours. The snow continued to fall from the sky and the breeze whipped across they're faces.
Oswald stopped and pointed, "Boys.... It's then end." The trench had finally ended.
-
Zaida stopped, she looked around. 'The end?...' although he was right. However it didn't feel like it... There was still no one but them, the fog was heavy, it didn't feel like it.
-
Oswald pulled himself over the end of the trench and scanned the area. He called everyone below him, "Everyone come on up."
Out of the trench it looked the same. Snow still fell and the winter blew. Expect for one differences. The fog began to disappear.
-
Zaida reached out and jumped, latching onto the side of the trench before pulling herself up and out with a grunt. She got to her feet brushing snow off her. As she looked out in the distance she can definitely see farther now that the fog was clearing up. "What the hell is going on." She murmured to herself however to the others it was muffled mumbles.
-
After everyone got out of the trench, Oswald pointed forward and spoke, "Let's move forward.
CHAPTER 2: Lust
Chapter Theme (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WvuCaLRcgh4)
-
Zaida gave a nod with response and marched forward, Her boots dragging through the thickening snow. She hummed "Le régiment de Sambre eat Meuse" lightly to herself before stopping abruptly. "...putain" she hissed, aggravated with the situation they were in. She didn't know what was going on and deep down it scared her, her anger acting as a shield.
-
As they marched Oswald surveyed the area. It was what a normal No Man's Land would look like. Just a lot more snow then normal...
"So... After this war. What do you chaps think you'll be doing after the war?"
-
There was a bit of silence, the monstress decided to speak "Become and artist, settle down in the countryside." Zaida responded to the vulture.
-
Oswald smiled, "Sounds like a fantastic end after the war." He went quiet for a second and then spoke, "I'll be going back to England to see my children... I do hope they're okay."
-
"I'm sure they'll be fine." She simply said as she continued to march through the snow.
-
"I'll probably get back to playing music"*He said, his boots crunching the snow underneath his feet*"Maybe move to somewhere calm, I'm not a fan of London anymore"
-
Oswald laughed, "London is a busy place. No way in hell I would live there."
-
"Yup, Couldn't get anything done there"*He chuckled*"Hell, I've got more done here then I ever could In london"
-
Oswald smiled, "We all have."
-
Zaida stumbled over a hidden rock in the snow but quickly caught her balance. The monstress brushed it off like nothing and continued to march silently.
-
The ground began to turn from mud and rock, to green grass.
Oswald stopped and stared at it. "Why is the ground green?"
-
Zaida tilted her head with confusion. The monstress squatted down and brushed her hand against the grass softly. She looked up at Oswald not sure what to say.
-
The snow stopped falling and the fog vanished. The trenches and bodies were gone.
Oswald turned his head to look behind himself. Behind them was just grass.
"What in God's name is happening?!" He yelled
-
"Where the hell are we?"*He said looking around, this didn't look like the snowy warzone they treaded before*
-
The sun could be seen rising. And the fog was now completely gone. The sky was blue and the grass was green.
"Right.... Either the Hun's gas finally got to us... Or we're someplace else." He spoke with a stutter
-
Zaida got up quickly, studying their surroundings. "...What is this?" She mumbled.
-
"Hopefully it's the former"*He said before feeling the ground*"It's disorienting, when you think about it."
-
Oswald sat down in the grass and felt it, he smiled and looked at the sun, "Now that I think about it... I haven't seen the sun in ages."
-
Although the scenery was beautiful, during her time in war she's haven't seen a single day like this... it wasn't right, none of this wasn't right.
-
"I could sit here for hours..." He said while sitting cross legged.
-
*Ryan sat on a rock, looking at the sun and sky*
"Now that you bring it up... you're right"
-
As the time passed so did the scenery. The grass began to die and the sun began to get covered with passing clouds. Oswald stood up and pulled his revolver out, "What in the hell is that?!" In the distance were figures. They stood straight and they looked normal.
-
*Ryan looked at the figures, his rifle at the ready*"Hopefully it isn't anything hostile."
-
Zaida looked at the two. All of this made her feel uncomfortable. She couldn't just sit down and act like nothing happened.
As the grass died she shook her head with dread. Looking up to see figures off in the distance..
-
Oswald took point and moved ever so closer to the figures, his hand tightened around the grip of his revolver. Sweat dripped from his head. One of the figures approached him.
His weapon fell from his hands. He then feel to his knees.
"Melisa... I thought you were dead..." He began to sob. In front of him was a bearded vulture with dark red feathers and blue eyes.
-
*Ryan looked at oswald*"What?"
-
Oswald stood up and ran towards the figure and hugged her, he cried. The women put her arms around him and hugged him back.
"Please don't leave me again..." Oswald cried.
-
She held her head. It didn't get to her, this wasn't real, none of this was. She started to approach Oswald before pausing mid-way.
Zaida saw her father in the distance... "Pére?" The main reason she had done all this, to find him. She teared up a bit and without hesitation she ran off in the distance leaving the group.
-
He held on and wouldn't let go... Deep inside he knew it wasn't really his wife. But he didn't care, he was just happy to see her in some form.
He looked over at Zaida and smiled, "Are we in heaven?" He said still teary eyed.
-
*Ryan looked at the figure infront of him*
"Jesus...."*He said, looking at his sister whom stood still across from him*"You...y-what?"*He said slowly walking towards her*"How-H-How did you get here?"*He said, as he walked*
-
Zaida vanished in the distance.
The monster kneeled in the grass. A French commanding officer. "My love. Why are you here? it's dangerous... I told you to stay home."
The monstress approached him slowly. "I wanted to find- I finally found yo.." She hugged him. His body was lifeless, the fur was now a rough thick skin.
Zaida broke away slowly facing what she thought was her father... only to face one of those vulgar creatures. Her heart sunk. Already too late to run or reach for a weapon the creature attacked her. It bit and scratched her, thrashing and slamming her on the ground. Zaida's bloodcurdling screams echoed.
-
*Red heard the screan, aiming into the fog before what wa once his sister lunged at him from the side, pinning him on the ground and attacking him viciously*
"AHHHHAAAH HAAH!"*He screamed as he felt the ground for anything to fend the creature off*
-
Ray, who had stayed away from the figures, opened fire on the creatures from a distance.
-
Oswald began to slip from his wifes arms. He looked up at her with tears in his eyes. She began to disappear into a red mist. He feel through the mist and landed on the ground. He just lied there motionless
-
Zaida away from the group she was on her own, now struggling for her life. The creature claw struck her deep on the side of her torso, her blood beginning staining her blue uniform. She was unable to use her rifle in the situation as it had fell while being slammed, however she somehow got ahold of her knife. Using her arm as a shield to the creatures mouth as it attempted to bite her neck, Zaida used the advantage to stab the creatures shoulder and back as much as she could before she thrown at least ten feet.
The creature screeched, reaching it bony arm towards its back pulling the knife out and tossing it aside.
-
Oswald stood up, his face was filled with rage and anger. He pulled his revolver and out and ran towards Zaida, As he ran he saw Ren getting attacked as well, he grabbed the beast and ripped him off, he picked up and Red and yelled into his face, "You're a British soldier! Fight that thing!" He threw him off and ran towards Zaida. The creature was in view and he began to fire every shoot into the creature.
-
*Ryan grabbed his rifle, smashing the creature with the the butt and kicking it to the ground he shot the creature as it was on the ground*
"DIE, DAMNIT!"
-
Zaida's vision was slightly blurred, her ears rang. The left lens of her gasmasks cracked from the rock hidden in the dirt. She heard yelling and picked up her head to see who it was but instead her eyes focused on her rifle. She dragged herself towards with painful grunts.
The creature seeing Oswald rushing over, firing his gun. The creature gave a gurgled roar before it hurried towards Zaida like a spider, then lunging towards her.
Zaida quickly turned around holding rifle tight the butt against the ground for support. Piercing the creature then pulling the trigger.
The creature screeched pulling itself off, scratching the wound clearly trying to take the bullet out. Taking a few shots from Oswald as well it began to limp off deep into "no man's land" the screeched fading away.
-
Oswald holstered his revolver and ran towards Zaida, "Oi, you alright mate?" He said while giving her a hand up.
-
Zaida's hand gripped his tightly as she was pulled to her feet. Her hearing muffled and vision still a bit blurry, she felt light and her body ached around the wound. The monstress looked down at the gash to her side, placing her hand tightly against it. "Je me sens malade..." she mumbled "..J'ai besoin d'un.. docteur." Her body shook.
(I feel sick. I need a doctor.)
-
Oswald looked at her with a confused look, he put her arm around him and dragged her towards a near by rock. He placed her down on it softly and spoke, "Stay." He ran towards Red and Ryan, "Come here lads I need your help!"
-
*The creature Ryan had fought with limped off as ryan kneeled on the ground, a hand over his eye injury*
"**censor**... That hurt"*He said before hearing Oswalds call and rushing toward the scene*
-
He rushed back over towards Zaida and knelt besides her.
"Alright Frenchy. Your gonna have to let me check out that wound." He said, his voice was as calm as it could get.
-
"What happenex now"*He said while arriving on the scene*
-
Oswald looked over at Red and scuffed, "The French Men's been hit... Gonna have to remember some of my medical knowledge." He said while looking at the wound
-
Zaida was curled up, trying to relax and avoid blacking out. She felt light headed and just stared at the two shaking her head slowly looking down to the floor.
-
Oswald looked over at Red, "I don't know what to do... I need him to stay still." He grabbed Zaida and tried to sit her up on her rear end.
-
"I have some experience if it'll help."*He said, holding his bleeding eye
-
Zaida felt as if her body was getting heavier, her wound and head ached. Eventually the monstress passed out from the blood loss.

CHAPTER 3: Gluttony
Chapter theme (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqeeb6P1j_w)
Oswald walked into a small bunk room in the trenches. He smiled as he saw Zaida, "So... You never told us you were a female."
-
*Ryan was sitting on an ammunition box while he wrote in his journal, he can't remember the last time he has slept but he continued writing*
-
Zaida woke up not to long ago, she held her bandaged side. She was no longer padded up to make her body seem masculine and held the gas mask in her hand. "Of course I didn't, females aren't allowed in war." She said with a French accent. Zaida being more comfortable, now that they knew her real identity.
-
Oswald laughed, "I guess I was right about the French women." He smiled, "Just teasing you."
-
'Page 83.
Winter.
The strange events that have decended upon us have gotten more and more dangerous every time we encounter them, This must have some connection with that creature we saw before we started our journey.
I've recently lost all sight in my left eye thanks to A figure who took my loved ones identity and masked as her... Thank god it wasn't anything too serious, Surprisingly 'Zed' was actually a female whom cleverly hid herself among the ranks without anyone knowing.
I must admit, Her disguise was very well made and hid her features with unmatched expertise.'
*He closed his journal before leaning back and sighing*
-
Zaida didn't respond only small chuff escaped her mouth. The monstress entered the bunker, walking over to the far corner. She grunted as she sat down and leaned against the wall for support.
-
*Ryan twirled the pencil between his fingers, he whistled something while doing so."
-
Oswald followed along and sat down next to her, "Why did you join the army?" He asked
-
There was Abbott of silence. "... I wanted to find my dad." She said before sighing.
-
Oswald was quiet for a few seconds he looked over at Zaida and spoke, "You never did.... Did you?"
-
*Ryan was listening to their conversation, stopping his whistling*
-
"No. He was in the front line. He went 'missing', I'm sure he's dead now..." Zaida said quietly, her ears leaned back.
-
Oswald sat in silence. He looked over at Zaida again and frowned, "I'm terribly sorry... Thus war is pointless and it shouldn't have happened...." He stood up and put his hand on her shoulder , "Let's get movin..."
-
*Ryan sat on the ammunition box, sliding the pencil into his pocket*
-
"No reason to be sorry..." She said grabbing his arm and getting to her feet. "Lead the way."
-
Oswald left the bunker and looked at Red, "We'll be moving out now. Pack up your things. Let's move:
-
"Once more unto the breach"*He grunted hoisting himself up*
-
They began to walk down no man's land. Oswald kept a close eye on Zaida. Making sure she was still waking and that she didn't need any help.
-
Zaida followed close behind them. She walked silently with a slight limp, her paw placed on her bandaged wound still.
-
*Ryan looked around, the wrapping over his eye causing him to turn his head more noticeably*
-
Ray, who had kept the butt of his rifle pressed against his teeth, finally spoke, very softly. "I wanna go home."
-
"Who doesn't?"*he said, looking back at ray*
-
The monstress was silent for a moment, only the sound of her boots against the dirt. She finally spoke "Hmp... That monster should've killed me." Zaida spat coldly.
-
Oswald looked at the group and frowned, "We all want to... Don't talk like that to yourself. We'll all get out of here alive." He sighed, "Hopefully."
-
"Hopefully."*Ryan said before nearly tripping on a rock, he regained his balance before rubbing his head*
"I'm trying to make light of this situation, But the only thing I can come up with are jokes"
-
Oswald looked over at Ryan, "Tell me some."
-
"We should really CARRION Sir."*Silence...*"Get it because... vulture."
-
Oswald snickered, "That was okay... I've heard better." He smiled, "One more."
-
"Pardon my FRENCH-"*He pointed at Zaida*"But I think we Ameri-CAN make it out of this situation, For the BRIT-ter or worse"
-
Oswald didn't laugh at this one, he just looked at Ryan and frowned, "That was... Bad." He smiled
-
Zaida's ears leaned back slightly. She wasn't in the mood to joke around. Instead the monstress continued to march forward.
-
"Yeah I know.."*He said, he was burnt out and tired*"I'm... Not going to speak of this again."
-
Ray spoke quietly again. "Should we start a fire?"
