It's the smack-dab middle of our country, and one of the largest cities, so it makes sense. My sister lives there, so I get to go there occasionally, but it's only for a day or 2. Don't exactly get the time to go out and meet people there :/
I am likely going to end up in Arnhem for Creative Writing at ArtEZ, though I've been considering going to find a room in utrecht. Trains are cheap (students get either week days or weekend free) and arnhem is close to utrecht :)

Egh, engels: I've been writing for about one and a half year by now, but due to my classes (I chose a package aimed towards physics/chemistry etcetc) I always felt like I had to do something with that. A great friend of mine, she inspired me to maybe look around to find a possible study involving writing. I had never considered writing as a possibility to keep doing, but if I get accepted there I'd be as happy as ever :)

Right in the middle, east of Rome ^_^
Landed in Alcona, and stayed in Grottamare. Both lay at the Adriatic coast and are pretty touristic throughout summer, or so they say. :)

Great! Weather was pretty good for this time of the year, the sun was shining brightly most of the time, and the sea was calm.
Stayed with family of a friend of ours, full blooded Italians... man, I had a freaking lunch of 5 hours... :o
And it was so good! XD

Although I'm not from the Netherlands, I'm happy to see many of you here, because I'm going to start studying Dutch at University in the upcoming semester. Hopefully we'll be good friends and one day I'll be able to talk to you in Dutch. I fell in love with it at first sight two years ago, I love how the Belgian-Dutch area looks like a modern, but yet medieval place at the same time, plus some of my favourite sportsmen and musicians are from there so I've got all the motivation I need. Groeten uit Hongarije! ^_^

Too much country on too little soil...
It's down-right overpopulated, and, partly, as a result, has rediculously strict regulations for stuff. And whatever's not illegal gets the living hell taxed out of it, with the Netherlands' being one of the top most aggresive taxers in the world.
Also, there's not enough forest...
I love forests, and the Netherlands does have some absolutely beautifull nature, but there's soo few, and so tiny, that all of 'em are practically national attractions, crammed to the absolute brim with paved roads, and pathways, and permanently crawling with people...
What really pisses me off most, is that you're not allowed to leave the pathways, or soo much as be in the forest at night.
Hence, why I'd much rather live in Canada, or Scandinavia, but hey, that's just my personal opinion, and stuff...

yeah if you live int he big countries there isnt much forest but i live in the southren east in Limburg and i know multple forest in a small radius where you can go of the path and in night time, so if you really wanna move this is the best thing I guess
