Are there any furs from Illinois? I'm a bit of a noobie, and I think it'd be interesting to meet the locals. It'd probably take a lot of persuading to get me to the Midwest Furfest in November, but it's worth a try. :D

It would be interesting to meet some fellow furs from around my area.
I have no real furry friends irl, which is what led me to The furry forum.
I'm very friendly and pretty much get along with anyone.
So my attitude isn't an issue, it's just a lack of furries to relate to.

My wife and I are two furries in Champaign Urbana and at Furfest we met two new Urbana furres. So that is a total of 4 in Central Illinois thus far

Hi all. I live in Chicago and work near Ohare airport. I work during the week but usually off on weekends. I have never seen any other furries out here.

I'm from South/Central Illinois close to Litchfield. Exit 52 of I-55. Only met 1 other fur in Springfield.

A furry from northern sub of chicago. I have been into the furry fandom for some time now. I enjoy most of the art. I have not been to a furry convention yet but have been planning on going to one since MFF was at the westin in wheeling. I made a fur suit for that year but was completely embarrassed of the poor design of it.

It really is weird. Midwest Furfest is right by Chicago. I thought I'd see a quite a bit of people from there, at least, popping on.

Im far down in southern Illinoise (to the point where if most peoole ask, I just say "St.Louis" and leave it at that) I live about 30 minutes outside it actuolly. Ive never met a furry in real life (hense my online activity) but ive always wanted too! There's always just sort of the issue of time, cost, and age when I comes to conventions ( im only 15 so the odds arent exactly heavily in my favour) aparently there's a con coming up in a couple months in st.Louis though. (Gateway Furmeet if Im not mistaken)

I have a little question, i'm in the USA for a tournament and tomorrow on this saturday i have a free day and decided to take an inland flight to chicago.
Your Country and the people are awesome, it is the first time for me:)
I would love to learn to know some people there and visit the awesome city.
Maybe someone of you have time tomorrow and would like to meet me and would like to explore Chicago with me.
I would arrive 08:10 a.m on the Chicago Airport and would depart 07:00 p.mI would be totally greatful:)
