I'm like all alone here in Southern Main. Granted I do know a few furs in this area but still.

Naa, its just Me, Vee and Shinzuu. But your pretty much about a hour and half away from me. Give or take. Never timed how long it takes for me to get to Augusta before. I'm closer to the Portland area.
If I did a Denny's fur Meet (why dennys? they are always open and don't care :3) Which one would be best for everyone? I know there are two Denny's in the portland area, and one in Auburn, and if it were on a friday I could do the one in Augusta. Though it would take me over an hour to get to that one.

What are you doing? All I'm doing is having to work a 6 day week before hand.... All my coe workers wanted the Sunday off I get to work a long ass week with nothing to look forward to. Joy...
So I figured why not test out a possible fur meet? Dunno how many people will show but meh who knows. It would be at the Denny's on Brighten Ave Portland, ME. Yea helps if you happen to live with in a decent radius near it. But hey might as well ask.
Febuary 6th
Time : TBA till when ever people start leaving
Portland, Maine Brighten ave one (AKA Westbrook denny's cause it's RIGHT on the town lines, think half the place is over the line.)

Heh no worries. Heck I wear my fursuit at Portcon :3 I stand out like a sore thumb. But yes that would be the safest and most parent friendly environment. Other wise your best bet (crappy I know) is to just wait till your old enough, and having a car helps :3

I am very pleased right now. I live in Maine too, but in Southwest Harbor. My suit wont be done until atleast 1 month from now, :/

I'm from a small town in Washington County, but I go to college in Bangor :)

Ah, never been over to Washington County. I've been up to Bangor quite a few times though, even though it's an hour and a half drive from here.

Bangor's alright though. Reminds me of when a used to live in Rhode Island.

I've only ever really been to the Bangor Auditorium. And I drove through another section of Bangor once when I came back from Acadia the way I didn't mean to go.

Low population, really cold <3, and affordable living! Great jobs if you're into management, accounting, and medical work. Trade labor is also in large supply along the coastline.
The last part about the "people are the same as anywhere else" is definitely not true, especially in Massachusetts and California.

Still every state kinda cracks itself up lol Maine isn't that much different from the rest of the U.S aside from climate and political views. I'm thinking of moving someplace a tad warmer though.

I'm only obsessed because I'm not just going to school, we are moving. So it's kind of a long term thing, I could live with permanently even. Besides, there's nothing to dislike about the state even if the blackflies, mosquitoes, and tourism are annoying. I have to do a lot more prep than most people since my home state has no seasonality.
