This might be goth rock, though. I’m not sure of the difference. Most of what I listen to is New Age or Indie Rock. At any rate, they’re werewolves, the natural product of metal and furries.

I couldn't really name any favorite bands because I listen to so so many, but if you look at my Last.FM artist section (https://www.last.fm/user/TheresTheMike/library/artists) you might get a better idea.
